Prompted by Liliana, Emma recalled the time she had kidnapped Amara, only for her to escape. A sharp glint appeared in her eyes.
If she hadn''t failed then, Amara would be long dead by now... The thought circled in her mind, taking root.
Throughout the morning, Liliana subtly and not-so-subtly encouraged Emma to get rid of Amara. While Emma responded in agreement, her mind was on something else entirely.
She was thinking about Amara''s pregnancy.
Finnian probably didn''t know Amara was pregnant. Otherwise, how could he still be so fond of her?
All she had to do was show Finnian the prenatal report. Once he knew Amara was carrying another man''s child, he would surely give up on her.
But Emma wasn''t going to act rashly. She nned to use this to kill two birds with one stone.
Her eyes darkened. After Liliana left, she had someone find out the date Amara and Keith had set for their marriage license. Then, she hung up the phone with a cold smile.

Finally, the day arrived for Amara and Keith to get their marriage license.
Amara woke up early to a message from Keith asking if she had everything ready. She replied, "I went back to the Sullivan residence yesterday and got my proof of identity. I have my ID card, too. I''m all set on my end. How about you?"
Keith sent back an "OK." "I''m good to go."
Amara took her phone into the bathroom and asked while brushing her teeth, "Have you finished the script for ''Letters from Yesterday''? What did you think?"
Over the past few days, Keith had continued to learn the business from Nathan while also reading the script, and Amara was eager for his feedback.
He replied quickly. “I finished it. It''s a great script. I was very moved reading it."
Amara couldn''t help but smile. She felt his words were sincere because he used the word "moved" instead of "exciting."
While she thought the plot of "Letters from Yesterday" waspelling, she believed its greatest strength was its ability to touch the audience''s hearts.
She put her phone down. She truly hoped this script would reignite Keith''s passion for acting, giving him the strength to stand up to Nathan and Edith and stay in the entertainment industry.
It would be such a shame if Keith really quit acting to go into business.
Soon, she was ready. After putting on some light makeup, she was about to head out. As she was putting on her shoes, a tall figure silently appeared beside her casting ashadow that made her jump.
She looked up and saw it was Finnian.
He looked down at her, his handsome face slightly pale, his eyes bloodshot as if he hadn''t slept all night.
Amara felt a surge of awkwardness and looked down. "Do you need something, Mr. Everly?"
"Are you going to get your marriage license with Keith?" she heard him ask, his voice close to her ear.
Amara nodded. “I was just about to leave."
She felt ufortable, mainly because something was off about Finnian''s demeanor. She wanted to
leave quickly..
but he said Have
Something to eat before you go. I
made breakfast."
Finnian made breakfast?
Amara was stunned for a moment. Before she could react, Finnian had pulled her into the kitchen.
She stared at the full spread on the dining table, astonished. "You made all this?" Finnian nodded.
