Chapter 587

Liliana lowered her voice. "Finn and I are getting married, but he''s only agreed to have a ceremony. He doesn''t want to get a marriage license with me."

"Mr. Everly, I feel so wronged. Could you please try to talk to Finn for me?"

As she spoke, more tears fell. She didn''t sob loudly, but wept silently, which was even more moving.

Andrew couldn''t stand seeing a beautiful woman cry, especially not like this. He felt a pang of sympathy and immediately puffed out his chest. "Don''t you worry. Mr. Everly will take care of this for you!"

"Honestly, Finn. How can you have a ceremony without getting a license? That''s so irresponsible to a woman. How could he do such a thing?"

Liliana found it incredibly ironic to hear the word "irresponsible"ing from Andrew.

But she didn''t let it show on her face, instead saying gratefully, "Thank you so much, Mr. Everly. I''ll be waiting for your good news."

"Alright, you can count on me. I''ll get this sorted out for you in the next couple of days."

Seeing Liliana''s pleading eyes, Andrew was even more determined. He repeatedly promised he would handle it, then ordered her another drink and chatted with her for a while before letting her go.

The next evening, Amara was craving hot pot again. She mentioned it to Mr. Kevin Everly, who was also in the mood for it, so the two of them headed to the kitchen to prepare.

But this time, Finnian came home halfway through their prep. It ended up being Finnian who took the vegetables from Lisa, the maid, and prepared the ingredients with Amara while Mr. Kevin Everly sat at the dining table watching them.

Soon, everything was ready, and the three of them gathered around the table for a cheerful meal.

Halfway through dinner, an uninvited guest arrived. Andrew walked in, saw the three of them eating hot pot, and eximed, "Oh, hot pot! I haven''t eaten yet. Mind if I join?"

Amara didn''t want Andrew to join, but she couldn''t exactly tell him to leave, so she just frowned discreetly.

As Andrew''s son, it wasn''t Finnian''s ce to say anything either. But Mr. Kevin Everly had no such qualms "Don''t you eat out every day? he said gruffly. "What are you doing home all of a sudden? Go find your usual crowd."

Unfortunately, Andrew was shameless. He chuckled. "I don''t want to see them. I want to eat with you all."

Then, he brazenly pulled up a chair and sat down. Ignoring the fact that the other three wanted nothing to do with him, he started helping himself to the food.

Seeing this, Mr. Kevin Everly''s face darkened, and he was about to start scolding him when Amara quickly tugged on his arm and whispered, "Grandfather, let''s just eat. person doesn''t make ace."

    more

Mr. Kevin Everly grunted heavily but said no more to Andrew, focusing on his own meal.

However, he continued to talk only to Finnian and Amara, making it obvious he was deliberately ignoring Andrew.

Andrew, with his thick skin, didn''t seem to mind and just ate happily.

As the meal was winding down, Andrew put down his utensils. "Finn, I heard something. Is it true you don''t want to get a marriage license with Liliana? You can''t

    do that."

"As a man you''ve already agreed to marry the girl. How can you not make it legal? That''spletely irresponsible. You need to go and get the license with her as soon as possible content
