Chapter 3160

    ?Chapter 3160:

Hadley added thoughtfully, “I believe our entire family needs to stand behind Ernest by then.”

She gently wrapped her hand around Elissa’s arm. “Elissa, what’s your take on this?”

Elissa, who had been silently observing, blinked in surprise at suddenly being addressed.

Still, she nodded with calm conviction. “I think it’s a wonderful idea.”

With Elissa voicing her support, Ernest had no grounds left to object.

He inclined his head and said simply, “Alright. We’ll go with your n.”

“And you?” Hadley pivoted sharply toward Eric. “Ernest listens to Elissa—so do you listen to me?”

“Naturally.” Eric let out azy chuckle, wearing that familiar carefree grin of his.

“Do I even get a vote here, though?” With augh, he slid an arm around Hadley’s waist. “You’ve already decided—how could I possibly refuse?”

“You’re impossible!” Hadley snapped with a frown.

Eric could only blink at her, rendered momentarily speechless.

And just like that, the matter was settled.

Flynn Tech took the lead as the title sponsor of the g, with the Scott Group stepping in as a secondary sponsor.

The honorees spanned every field—business, culture, entertainment—and for the first time, the budget had reached unprecedented heights.

After everything was finalized, Hadley scheduled a day with Elissa to choose their gowns for the g.

Early that morning, Colleen arrived, dropped off by Brady.

“Brady, did you eat?” Hadley asked, waving him over. “Come inside and have some breakfast with us.”

“No, I’m good.” He smiled and shook his head. “Colleen and I already ate before we came.”

Colleen had spent the night at his ce, and he had cooked breakfast for both of them that morning.

“I’ve got a packed day ahead, so I’ll get going.”

“Alright, no problem.” Hadley let it go with a smile. “Drop by for dinner another day.”

    “Will do.”

“Come on, Colleen—let’s head in.” Linking arms, Hadley guided Colleen through the doorway.

With a mischievous smirk, she whispered, “So… were you with Bradyst night?”

Colleen flushed scarlet in an instant.

    “Yes…” she muttered.

“And did the two of you…?”

“Hey!” Colleen mped a hand over Hadley’s mouth. “Stop right there!”

“What?” Hadley blinked in surprise, but then burst intoughter. “I didn’t even say anything yet, and look at you—already blushing!”

“Humph!” Colleen shot her a quick sideways nce. “I know exactly what you have in mind—don’t even start!”

“You’re too sharp for your own good!” Hadley stifled augh as she leaned closer, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. “I’m not trying to tease you, but this is important… You and Brady—you two have done it, right?”

“You’re still asking!” Colleen hissed, before blurting—”Fine—yes, everything happened!”

“Don’t be mad,” Hadley soothed. “I just wanted to know… are you still taking that herbal medicine?”

“What?” Colleen blinked, clearly confused by the abrupt change of subject. She then gave a small nod. “Yes… I’m still taking it.”

Hadley took her to that doctor, and the herbal concoction was supposed to help regte her health.

Brady had repeatedly told Colleen it was alright if they never had kids, that their happiness wouldn’t change, that at the very least, adoption was always an option. He also said that these days, many couples chose to live without children.

But she knew how much Brady adored children; his gentle care for Joy spoke volumes.

The stronger their bond grew, the more Colleen longed to have a child with him.

She continued the herbal treatments, holding onto the quiet hope of conceiving his child.

    “Good,” Hadley murmured, visibly relieved.

Colleen noticed something was off. “What’s going on? Are you keeping something from me?”
