?Chapter 3127:
After arriving at the vi, N spent two more days resting. By the third morning, she was up at dawn, dressed and packed, and left with Ernest.
They’d made ns to visit the Brown family that day. With the weekend break, Neville was free and Savannah didn’t have sses.
Their arrival didn’t take long.
Ernest helped N out of the car, saying gently, “Take it slow, Grandma.”
“Alright,” N replied as she stepped out. She couldn’t help but notice the vi was quite close to the manor. She cast her grandson a thoughtful look.
He always seemed withdrawn, keeping his feelings locked inside, rarely saying how he truly felt. Unlike Eric, who was much more forting with his emotions.
Their personalities couldn’t have been more different. One moved through life in a calm, measured way while the other carried a bright, restless energy.
Not knowing what his grandmother thought, Ernest stepped up and pressed the doorbell. A maid appeared to greet them.
They showed up five minutes ahead of schedule, making sure to be on time out of respect for everyone involved.

“Mrs. Flynn, Mr. Flynn, pleasee in,” the maid said, ushering them inside.
Once inside, she led the group through the hallway.
Savannah and Neville waited for them in the living room, standing quietly by the sofa.
Even so, Elissa was nowhere in sight.
A shadow crossed Ernest’s face as he frowned, the gloom settling in his eyes.
Since that fateful day, he hadn’t seen Elissa again.
Savannah had been the one to suggest that neither of them should meet until both families’ elders were present. Although Ernest would rather it be otherwise, he had no choice except to go along with the n.
He came today, holding out hope that he’d finally get to see Elissa, but she was still missing.
More than disappointment crept in—a quiet unease began to take hold.
By stopping Elissa from showing up, was Savannah set on keeping them apart for good, leaving no chance to make things right?
“Mr. Brown, Mrs. Brown, sorry to interrupt,” said N.
“Not at all, N,” Savannah replied, observing N with a slightly weary expression. “Please, take a seat.” She motioned for the maid to bring coffee.
