Chapter 3125

    ?Chapter 3125:

Ernest carefully wiped Elissa’s mouth before sneaking a look at his phone.

The caller ID revealed Hadley’s name, and the sight of it caught him off guard. She never reached out unless the matter carried weight. He wondered if something had gone wrong at home.

After checking on Elissa, he turned to Savannah and offered a quick apology. “I’m sorry, Mrs. Brown. Someone from home is calling. I have to take it.”

He rushed to answer the call before it went to voicemail and walked toward a quiet corner where he could speak without noise.

    ????????d??n?? ???????????? о?? g?????????е??s.c????

    “Hello, Hadley?”

“Ernest,” Hadley responded. She heard the tension in his voice and decided not to waste time. “There’s nothing wrong here, and Locke is doing fine, so don’t panic. I’m calling because N left for Ontmond.”

“What did you just say?” Ernest’s posture stiffened like someone struck by an unexpected blow. “That doesn’t make sense. You all need to keep her home!”

“We tried.” Hadley sounded defeated. N had predicted he would interfere, which was why she kept the news from Ernest until thest moment.

“She’ll be arriving soon,” Hadley added.

Ernest pressed his fingers against his forehead.

“It takes time to request a proper flight route. She refused to wait, so she chartered a private ne. I’m sending you the details now.”

“Fine.” Ernest ended the call with a heaviness he could not shake.

His earlier conversation with N must have pushed her into acting on impulse.

He never imagined that she would travel straight to him without warning.

His phone buzzed once more. Hadley’s message contained the flight information, and the timing suggested N would bending any moment.

Ernest slid the phone into his pocket and returned to the dining room. “Mrs. Brown, Elissa, sorry but I have to go right away.”

Elissa sprang to her feet with worry etched across her face. “Did something happen?”

“It’s nothing rming.” Ernest offered her a calm stare that settled her worries. He then faced Savannah and spoke with clear sincerity. “Mrs. Brown, my grandmother ising to Ontmond and she’ll bending soon. I have to go to the airport to meet her.”

His mention of his grandmother caught both mother and daughterpletely off guard.

Elissa blinked at him, startled and confused.

Savannah’s surprise took a different shape. His grandmother? That could only mean the well-known head of the Flynn family. Rumors of N’s frail condition had reached her back in Srixby. People imed the older woman barely left her estate anymore. Why would shee all the way to Ontmond now?

“I understand.” Savannah forced a nod, torn between curiosity and unease. “You should take care of that.”

“Of course.” Ernest acknowledged her with a brief nod and looked at Elissa again. His tone softened as though he were speaking to a child in need offort. “I’ll returnter so we can spend time together and y with Ethan.”

“Alright,” Elissa whispered, her gaze locked on him as he hurried out.

Savannah kept her eyes on her daughter, fully aware that N’s visit had everything to do with Elissa.

Ernest arrived at the airport and waited at the private passage until N emerged.

    “Grandma!”

N sat upright in her wheelchair. Herplexion looked healthy, though fatigue lingered around her eyes. When she caught sight of her grandson, she gave a small nod. “Hello, Ernest.”

“Grandma.” A line appeared between his brows as he studied her face. “Are you feeling well?” He then nced toward the physician at her side.

“There’s no need to worry, Mr. Flynn,” replied the doctor. “The flight went smoothly, and Mrs. Flynn is only experiencing some exhaustion.”

The tension in Ernest’s shoulders eased a little, and he took hold of the wheelchair handles from the attending nurse. “Grandma, let’s get you home and let you rest.”

    “Very well.”

They drove to the vi he had rented.
