Chapter 3100

    ?Chapter 3100:

That evening, Ernest’s bodyguard returned to his vi.

“Sir.” The bodyguard stood stiffly in ce, a hint of hesitation in his posture.

“What is it?” Ernest asked, his eyes sharp. “You lost them?”

“No, sir,” the bodyguard said, lowering his head. “Miss Hond’s mother must have predicted we would follow. The car drove in circles across the city. When it finally stopped, we checked and… Miss Hond and her mother weren’t inside at all.”

Ernest stilled. A faint smile touched his lips, but his eyes stayed cold.

Savannah was sharper and more meticulous than he had expected.

    “Where’s the car now?”

“It returned to the manor. Only the driver remained.”

Ernest let out a soft, humorlessugh.

    D??n’?? ????s?? ne?? ??????еa????? ???? ??a????????e??s.соm

So Savannah had removed Elissa somewhere along the way—quietly enough that even a tail didn’t catch it.

Finding the time and ce she slipped away would be far harder.

“Sir,” the bodyguard continued, uneasy. “We’ve alerted teams at the borders and all major ports. If Miss Hond moves, we’ll know. And our people in Ontmond are searching every district.”

It felt impossible, like searching for one lost needle in a field of endless grass. But at the moment, it was all they could do.

    “Alright.” Ernest nodded without arguing.

He paused, brows drawn together as he thought through the pieces.

Then he asked, “What about Savannah? Did you track her?”

The bodyguard shook his head. “She should still be with Miss Hond, right? They disappeared together.”

“No.” Ernest’s voice stayed firm. “Keep watch on the manor. Savannah will return.”

    The reasoning was simple.

Thest time Elissa vanished, Savannah took care of her while continuing her routine as if nothing had happened.

She still had a husband, a son, and sses to teach at the university. She could hide Elissa; she could not hide herself.

    “Yes, sir.”

    Two dayster.

The bodyguard rushed in, barely containing his excitement. “Sir, you were right. Savannah showed up. She’s back at the manor.”

    Ernest nodded once. “Just her?”

“Yes.” The bodyguard swallowed. “We checked. Miss Hond isn’t with her.”

So Elissa had indeed been moved elsewhere. Hidden deliberately.

    Still somewhere in Ontmond.

    For what purpose?

Ernest couldn’t make sense of it. Did Savannah truly think disappearing her daughter a few more times would make him back away?

    “Find her.”

    “Yes, sir.”

Yet days dragged on with nothing to show for it.

The bodyguard reported in daily, and Ernest heard the same thing each time.

They were stillbing the city. Still checking every lead.

“Miss Hond seems to have vanished,” the bodyguard admitted, confusion etched across his face.

    It was different from before.

Thest time, they were searching for Elissa Hond, who didn’t really exist in Ontmond.

This time, they had her new name—Ellen Brown—but still nothing came up.

“Unless her stepfather created yet another new identity for her,” he said quietly.

If that were true, tracking her would be far more difficult.

Ernest pressed his fingers to his brow. A pounding headache settled behind his eyes.

After a long beat, he asked, “Nothing from Savannah’s side?”

No matter where Elissa had been taken, Savannah would have to visit her sooner orter.

“No.” The bodyguard shook his head. “Miss Hond’s mother seems to be moving with extreme caution. These past few days, she has followed the exact same routinemuting between the university and the manor. One parent-teacher meeting for her son. That’s all.”

    No deviations. No hidden stops.

Ernest looked out toward the window, the unease inside him deepening.

Savannah might be guarding against him.

    That part made sense.

    But something still felt wrong.
