Chapter 3095

    ?Chapter 3095:

Savannah tugged Elissa along as they made their way toward the front door.

Elissa nced back over her shoulder, her expression a mix of helplessness and panic toward Ernest, who followed closely behind them.

“Hurry up!” Savannah snapped, her tone sharp with both irritation and urgency. “Quit looking back!”

The outburst startled Elissa enough that her shoulders twitched.

    ?????e???? ???? ????е??? о? ???????оv??????.cо??

Ernest noticed her reaction instantly. “You’re frightening her,” he said, voice heavy with disapproval.

Savannah already knew she was, but she forced herself to stay firm; she couldn’t allow her resolve to waver now.

“It’s none of your business. At worst, I’m scaring her a little. She’s my daughter—my blood. I would never actually hurt her,” she shot back, her jaw tightening. She red at him, her patience wearing thin. “I’m warning you. Stop following us.”

Ernest let out a quiet sigh and tried tofort Elissa. “It’s alright. Just go with your mom for now, okay?”

Elissa’s eyes filled with tears as she nodded. “Okay…”

“Come on,” Savannah said, pulling her forward again.

By the time they reached the manor, Savannah hadn’t loosened her grip once. Only when they were actually inside the house did she release Elissa’s hand and stride inward without looking back.

Elissa trailed after her like a scolded child, fingersced nervously in front of her. “Mom…” she murmured.

Savannah didn’t answer, heading straight to Elissa’s room upstairs.

She shrugged off her coat, took a seat on the sofa, and lifted her head to meet Elissa’s gaze. “Do you even understand what you did wrong?”

“Yes,” Elissa replied quickly, nodding with obedient sincerity. “I know I messed up…”

But after a brief pause, her courage flickered back. “But Mom… I like him.”

“Like him?” Savannah’s entire posture stiffened, a chill prickling down her spine. “You’ve barely spent any time with that man, and you dare im you like him? I told you before—he is not trustworthy.”

“But he really does like me…” Elissa whispered in her own defense.

“How can you be sure?” Savannah demanded. “Did he tell you that? Words are easy. People say anything.”

“No, it’s not that…” Elissa shook her head, her eyes filling again. “Emma is incredible—she’s perfect for him. But he didn’t choose her.”

She was slow, but she wasn’t brainless!

Savannah froze, unable to counter that, and realized with annoyance that her n to use Emma to break them apart had backfiredpletely.

“Now that you mentioned Emma,” she muttered, irritated, redirecting the topic. “You actually teamed up with her to lie to me?”

“I…” Elissa lowered her head. “I know I was wrong.”

“At least you’re aware.” Savannah let the matter drop there. “Stay in your room today and think about your actions.”

Later that evening, when Neville returned, a servant approached him immediately. “Mr. Brown, Mrs. Brown and Miss Brown had a major disagreement. Mrs. Brown has restricted Miss Brown to her room.”

“Do you know what it was about?” he asked.

    “I’m afraid not.”

“Alright, I understand.” Neville nodded and turned toward the study to check on Savannah.

Before he could head upstairs, another servant approached. “Mr. Brown, a Mr. Flynn is outside requesting to speak with you and Mrs. Brown.”

    Mr. Flynn?

Neville raised a brow. “Invite him in. Also, inform my wife.”

    “Yes, sir.”

    “Mr. Flynn, pleasee in.”

    “Thank you.”

Ernest followed the servant into the living room.

Savannah had yet to arrive, so Neville, seated calmly on the sofa alone, greeted him with a polite nod. “Mr. Flynn, have a seat.”

“Mr. Brown.” Ernest obeyed and sat down.

“Quite the timing,” Neville said with a mild smile. “I just got home myself, and here you are.”

“To be honest,” Ernest admitted, “I waited to confirm you were back beforeing.”

He had spotted Neville’s car through his surveince feed and rushed over.
