?Chapter 3020:
“What just happened?” Savannah asked as she ended her call and rushed over, arriving just in time to steady Elissa.
“Elissa?” Savannah’s eyes widened when she felt her daughter shaking. She turned a sharp gaze toward Robin. “What have you done?”
“Mrs. Brown.” Robin shook his head in confusion. “I’m not sure what happened. I only poured her a cup of water.”
Only a cup of water?
How could something so simple leave Elissa trembling like this?

Savannah couldn’t quite understand what was happening, but she held Elissa close and asked softly, “Elissa, are you scared of him?”
“Yes!” Elissa cried, nodding quickly as she curled into herself and buried her face in her mother’s arms.
“Elissa?” Robin’s voice faltered.
Savannah looked just as puzzled and said gently, “Butst night, didn’t you tell me you wanted to see Robin?” She gestured toward him. “This is Robin.”
“No! That’s not him!” Elissa shouted, keeping her head down and refusing to look up. She shook her head again and again. “He’s not him!”
“Who is it, then?” Savannah asked.
Elissa said nothing, but Ernest’s face flickered through her mind.
She remembered his voice, his quiet warning not to tell anyone he had visited.
So, Elissa stayed silent and simply shook her head.
Seeing that she wouldn’t speak, Savannah wrapped an arm around her and turned toward Robin.
“You can see how terrified Elissa is. It’s best if you head home for now.”
“Okay,” Robin murmured, giving a helpless nod.
“Take care on your way out,” Savannah added softly before leading Elissa upstairs, whispering words offort as they went.
“Don’t be scared, my dear. He’s gone now. Everything’s fine.”
Elissa gave a faint nod, her breathing slowly evening out.
Savannah let out a quiet sigh.
It was clear she couldn’t rely on Robin after all. Elissa might have remembered him, but whatever memory she held wasn’t a good one.
And now, it was hard to tell—who exactly was the “Robin” she had wanted to see?
Later that afternoon, Elissa woke from her nap, while Savannah continued to sleep soundly.
Having arrived early that morning, Savannah was still catching up on rest.
The caregiver approached quietly. “Miss Brown, would you like to take a walk in the garden? I can bring your afternoon tea there.”
“Sure, thanks.”
With the caregiver beside her, she stepped into the garden. Settling into a wicker chair under the shade, Elissa rubbed her nose, which felt oddly itchy. She then let out a sneeze.
“Are you feeling cold?” the caregiver asked with concern.
It had rained through the night and only cleared up that morning.
“It’s a little chilly. I’ll bring you a shawl,” the caregiver said before turning away to retrieve one.
Left alone, Elissa rose from her seat and began to stroll forward, her gaze drifting across the garden as though she were searching for someone.
Her eyes lifted to the workers on the scaffolding outside the house, but he wasn’t among them.
Had he already gone?
A quiet sigh escaped Elissa’s lips as disappointment settled in, and she turned to head back.
Just then, she nearly collided with someone.
Ernest flinched in surprise. He moved closer to support her, worry etched across his face. “Careful there!”
But Elissa didn’t seem the least bit shaken. Instead, her face lit up with pure joy. “You’re here! I found you!”
