?Chapter 3011:
Through the narrow space between Savannah’s shoulder and arm, Ernest barely caught a faint glimpse of Elissa’s figure.
“Elissa!”
Ernest stretched his hand toward her, desperation bleeding into every movement.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Savannah stepped in front of him, unyielding. Her expression turned cold. “Ernest, I’m warning you—don’t you darey a hand on my daughter!”
Before things could escte further, Robin—still standing nearby—moved quickly and grabbed Ernest’s arm. “Please, it’s best you leave!”
Rage flickered in Ernest’s eyes, disbeliefcing his voice. “You think you can stop me?”
“Elissa doesn’t want to see you!” Robin shot back firmly.
Taking advantage of the distraction, Savannah tightened her grip on Elissa’s wrist. “Come on, Elissa. We’re leaving!”
“Alright.”
Still dazed, Elissa allowed herself to be guided toward the house, though her steps faltered. Something made her nce back at Ernest.
Their gazes collided, his eyes burning with desperation.

“Elissa!”
For a heartbeat, the sharpness in Ernest’s stare melted into fragile hope. She looked at him!
“Let me go!”
With a sudden burst of strength, Ernest tore free from Robin’s grasp and charged past the gate toward Elissa.
“Elissa!”
His hand stretched out from afar, trembling as if reaching for a lifeline.
Uncertain, Elissa frowned slightly but began to lift her hand in return.
Just then, Savannah moved between them once more. Her posture was unyielding.
“Ernest!” Savannah’s voice came out steady, ced with disdain. “Do you honestly believe you can act as you wish here? Guards!”
At Savannah’s order, the bodyguards closed in, forming a tight circle around Ernest.
She had clearly anticipated this confrontation.
Every step had been nned—the only way to keep her daughter safe and away from Ernest.
A smirk curved across her lips as she lifted a brow. “Go on, take another step. I’ll have them tie you down right here and now.”
Her gaze flicked toward the two men who’de with Ernest, her tone dripping with mockery. “Those two you brought with you? Hardly enough. I’ll make sure all of you are restrained and handed over to the police myself.”
The threatnded heavy, and Ernest’s body tensed.
Getting the police involved would be a nightmare.
As a foreigner here, any trouble could be used against him, and they’d throw him out without a second thought.
He could face it if he had to, but it would take time—time he didn’t have right now.
“Did you understand me?”
Savannah’s expression made it clear she knew he did. “I’ll take your silence as a yes. Now leave this ce and take your men with you.”
“Mrs. Brown.” Ernest straightened, his voice low but steady. “Please, allow me to speak to Elissa, just for a moment.”
“Speak?” Savannah let out a coldugh. “You never quit, do you? Fine then!”
Drawing in a slow breath, Savannah gave a curt nod. “Fine. I’ll let you see what you’re so desperate about. Stay right there.”
Turning toward her daughter, her tone softened. “Elissa, sweetheart, do you want to talk to him? You don’t have to if you’d rather not. As long as I’m here, no one will make you do anything you don’t want to.”
Elissa pressed her lips together, her eyes flicking back and forth between Savannah and Ernest.
Without warning, she slipped her hand from Savannah’s grasp and started walking toward Ernest.
“Elissa…” Savannah’s hand froze midair, her color draining. What was her daughter doing?
“Elissa.” A spark of relief lit Ernest’s face as he saw hering closer.
“You…”
Stopping just a few steps away, Elissa looked up at him with hesitant eyes.
