Chapter 2955

    ?Chapter 2955:

Two dayster, N finished her follow-up examination and was cleared to leave the hospital, so she headed back to Flynn Mansion.

Hadley took care of the discharge paperwork and went home with her.

Ernest and Eric were busy during the day, so she did not ask them toe with her. N’s condition had stabilized, and even if they had been there, it wouldn’t have made much difference.

Once they returned to Flynn Mansion, N settled infortably.

That afternoon, Colleen stopped by to visit.

Hadley led her over to Crimson House, where it was much quieter. They wouldn’t bother N or the others there, and it was the perfect spot for a private chat.

Hadley showed Colleen around Crimson House. As they walked through the rooms, Colleen smiled and said, “You did a great job with this ce. It’s really lovely.”

    ???????????????? ???????? ?????????????? ???? ??????????????????.??????

Hadley nodded, a smile spreading across her face. “Thank you. Come and have something to drink.”

Instead of going inside, they chose to sit out in the courtyard beneath the trees. The summer sun was high, but the garden was lush and green, and the air felt cool and refreshing.

“Okay.” Colleen sat down, picked up a pastry, and took a bite. Her cheeks puffed out as she chewed. “These pastries are amazing. Did you make them yourself?”

“The chef at home made them,” Hadley said. “If you like them, have a few more. You can take some hometer. They’re all made fresh, without any preservatives, so you’ll want to finish them soon. They don’t keep for long.”

    “Got it.”

Colleen nodded, finishing one piece and reaching for another.

Hadley paused and nced at Colleen with a curious look.

    “How have you beentely?”

It was something she had meant to ask a few days ago when theyst met. But Colleen had quickly changed the subject, steering the conversation toward herself and Eric instead.

“I’ve been good,” Colleen replied, sipping her tea and taking in the aroma. “Hmm, this smells wonderful… Is it ck tea?”

“Yes, it is,” Hadley said, nodding.

Hadley hadn’t known much about tea before. But ever since she moved back to Flynn Mansion, she’d often shared tea with N and Ernest, and gradually she had learned to appreciate it.

Hadley watched Colleen, a slight frown appearing on her face.

“What’s wrong?” Colleen asked as she took thest piece of pastry from the te and bit into it. “Why are you looking at me like that?”

“Colleen.” Hadley let out a sigh. “You’ve lost a lot of weight.”

Colleen paused, forcing a small smile. “That’s right. Can you tell?”

“Yes,” Hadley said, nodding. “Your cheeks have even started to sink in. It looks like you’ve had a tough timetely.”
