Chapter 2911

    ?Chapter 2911:

Linda only ever looked out for herself.

Beside her, Eric took out his phone and called Cristian.

“It’s me. Yes, go to Flynn Group. We’ll meet you at Ernest’s office.”

After he ended the call, he looked over at Hadley and asked quietly, “I’m going to see Ernest. Will youe with me?”

Then he added, “You always catch the details. I’m worried I might have missed something Chelsey mentioned. If you’re there, you can help keep me on track.”

    So that was the reason.

    Eric didn’t waste any time.

    “Sure.” Hadley agreed without hesitation.

    “Let’s go together.”

    “Alright.”

The car rolled into the downtown area and made its way to Flynn Group.

Cristian still hadn’t arrived by the time they got there. Quentin nced at his phone.

“Cristian just called. He’s at the intersection. He’ll be here in a minute.”

“Then I’ll use the restroom first,” Hadley said, slipping her bag off her shoulder.

    Eric took it from her.

“Use Ernest’s private restroom. Don’t use the public one.”

    “Okay, got it.”

Hadley nodded and walked into the CEO’s lounge.

Once she was gone, Eric set her bag down on the sofa, turned to Ernest, and began exining what had happened during their meeting with Chelsey. He also shared what he now knew about Linda’s background.

When Eric finished, both brothers’ expressions shifted.

“Ernest…” Eric bit his lip, a bitter, self-mocking smile tugging at his mouth.

“Looks like the two of us have been caught up in her ns from the very start.”

    ?????????????? ????????????: ????????ν??????﹒??????

It was clear now that Linda had saved them for reasons of her own.

“Humph.” Eric’s voice wasced with sarcasm as he forced a smile.

“Sometimes I think I’m nothing but a fool.”

He had spent more than ten years feeling grateful to someone who had been plotting everything for her own agenda. He had even hurt his wife and daughter—only to serve her interests.

Ernest nced at Eric and let out a long sigh.

“I’m just as much to me…”

In truth, he was even more pathetic than Eric.

At the lounge door, Hadley stood with her hand on the knob. She had just left the bathroom and caught part of the brothers’ conversation.

It didn’t feel right to step out now.

Still, she already understood what was weighing on their minds about Linda.

“Mr. Flynn, Mr. Scott…” Cristian’s voice came from outside.

    “Sorry I’mte!”

“There’s no need to apologize.” Eric motioned.

    “Have a seat.”
