Chapter 2744

    ?Chapter 2744:

The previous night, Bianca hadid bare her secrets, unveiling a critical piece of evidence—a ndestine video. With cunning foresight, she had concealed a pinhole camera in the apartment, capturing the entire incident in vivid detail. Her reasons for doing so remained her own, a mystery irrelevant to their cause.

The footage painted a clear picture of the chaotic events. Gifford and two others were embroiled in a fiery dispute, with Bianca as a silent witness.

After the confrontation spiraled out of control, they had relocated Eric to the room and ced the knife in his hand, orchestrating the scene that the police wouldter uncover.

Cristian borated, “The video suggests Gifford was entangled in financial squabbles with those two men.”

Yet the precise nature of their sh remained murky, the details shrouded in the heat of their argument.

“The authorities will dig deeper,” he assured.

Hadley, however, was restless, her concern fixed solely on Eric.

“What about Eric? Is he in the clear?” she pressed, her voice tinged with urgency.

    Cristian shook his head gently.

“When I left, the tech team was still scrutinizing the video.”

They had to confirm its authenticity and make sure it wasn’t a fabrication.

    “Have patience,” he soothed.

“Rest assured, we’ll have answers before the day is out.”

No sooner had the words left his lips than Hadley’s phone chimed, cutting through the tension.

    It was Ellis.

“Hello?” Hadley answered in a heartbeat.

Straight to the point, Ellis delivered the news with crisp rity.

    “Eric’s charges have been dropped.”

    ???????? ???????? ?????????????? at ?????????ν??????﹒?????

    Finally.

Even though she had braced herself for this moment, Hadley’s eyes still brimmed with tears.

    “Ernest!”

Ernest nodded, a faint smile tugging at his lips. He nced at his watch.

“You and Cristian can go togetherter. I won’t be joining.”

Knowing Eric was safe was enough.

At a time like this, he knew the moment belonged to the two of them. As for him, meeting Eric a littleter wouldn’t make a difference.

He shifted his gaze to Cristian.

    “Cristian.”

    “Yes.” Cristian smiled, equally relieved.

“Don’t worry, Mr. Flynn. I’ll take care of everything.”

At the hospital, Eric had not slept well the night before. When Hadley left yesterday, she had promised she would return once her work was done. But she never came back.

Had something happened? Or was it simply too much trouble for her to bother?

In his condition, he could not even call her to ask for an exnation—he had no ess to phones. His thoughts spiraled until his head began to ache.

After drifting in and out of restless dreams, he woke earlier than usual.
