?Chapter 2733:
Eric had already gotten up, washed, and was stepping out of the bathroom.
“Already up?” Hadley carried the bags inside.
“Perfect timing. Breakfast is ready.”
“Alright.” Eric followed closely behind her.
She unpacked the food carefully, setting everything in order. They sat down across from each other.
Hadley ced the milk beside him.
“Want some milk?”
“Sure.”
She gave a small nod.
“I asked them to get it ready for you.”
Tapping gently on his temple, she added, “You hit your head again. Better safe than sorry—no coffee for now.”
“Oh.” Eric frowned but didn’t argue.
“Also, I have to run some errandster. I probably won’t be back until the afternoon,” Hadley said, shifting the topic.
“What?” Eric almost choked on his food in surprise.
Rules allowed family members to stay aspanions, and Hadley had been here almost all of yesterday.
Could she already be tired of being around him after just one day?
That wasn’t the case, though.
“It’s work,” Hadley said, noticing his disappointed look.
“My drama is about to air, and some scenes need extra voice-overs.”
Elvin had already contacted her about it.
Outside, no one had any idea about Eric’s situation.
L?????????? с????????????? ??α?n??ν??????.?????
The work was serious, involving the whole crew, investors, and sponsors. Hadley couldn’t afford to skip it.
“I understand.” Eric felt a sting of disappointment despiteprehending the situation.
“Will it take long?”
“Not really.” Hadley shook her head gently.
From past experience, extra voice-overs rarely demanded much time.
“Just a few days, most likely.”
A few days?
Eric’s expression darkened. That long?
Still, he didn’tin. Hadley was attending to official matters, and even when they were together, he’d never interrupted her work.
He simply said, “Juste back quickly when you’re finished. Being alone is…”
The rest of his thought never came. Instead, a quiet breath slipped from him.
“Rx, it’ll be fine.” Hadley shared his concern, uneasy about leaving him by himself and worried he might sink into dark thoughts.
She offered reassurance.
“Keep your spirits up. Your father, Ernest, and Cristian are all doing their best… You won’t be here for long.”
“I understand.” A faint smile touched Eric’s face as he gave a small nod.
