Chapter 952

    ?Chapter 952:

    Could it actually be?

Was he reading too much into this?

Trying to appear nonchnt, Robin stopped a nurse. “Excuse me, this Miss Hond everyone’s looking for, what’s her first name?”

Caught up in themotion, the nurse replied without much thought, “Elissa!”

Shock washed over Robin. It was indeed her!

After all this time searching, he never thought she had been right here, under his nose!

Upon receiving the unsettling news, Ernest rushed to the sanatorium without hesitation. The usual poise and intellectual charm that marked his appearance had given way to a look of tempestuous concern, with his eyes and brows casting a chilly, detached shadow.

The director met him at the entrance and greeted him respectfully. “Mr. Flynn.”

“Did you find her?” Ernest’s tone cut straight to the point.

“Not yet,” came the director’s reply, his voice dropping slightly in volume.

Unmoved, Ernest strode forward. “I need to speak with her caregiver immediately.”

The caregiver reported that Elissa had be agitated out of nowhere, a fact Ernest needed to understand.

“Yes,” murmured the director. “Also, Mr. Flynn, there’s someone in Miss Hond’s room iming to be her husband…”

At this revtion, Ernest halted momentarily, his eyes narrowing. Without questioning the caregiver further, Ernest already grasped the cause of Elissa’s distress.

With resolute swiftness, he made his way to Elissa’s room.

“This is an abduction! You must let my wife go today!” Robin’s voice rang out from inside the room. As Ernest entered, Robin looked up and froze.

    “You…” Robin’s surprise was evident. “It’s you?”

Robin remembered seeing this man with Elissa before. He had used them of having an affair but never truly thought Elissa would agree to such a situation.

However, the moment Robin saw Ernest again, his confidence faltered. Might it actually be true that Elissa was with Ernest?

His face darkened with suspicion, and he sneered. “So, you’re the culprit who took my wife! Better hand her over if you know what’s best.”

“I took your wife?” Ernest maintained an unppable demeanor as he faced Robin. “Do you have any proof of that?”

Caught off guard, Robin’s anger intensified. “She’s my wife, and that’s all the proof I need!”

“That im means nothing,” Ernest said, his tone steady, though there was an edge to it. “Elissa is a grown woman. She makes her own choices. Given your track record of abuse and unfaithfulness, do you really think you have the authority to demand her presence?” He then gave a slight, icy smile. “Now get out of my sight.”

Currently, Ernest’s priority was to locate Elissa, leaving him no patience for Robin’s antics.

Turning to Quentin, he said, “Remove him.”

    “At once, sir!”

At Quentin’s signal, security guards converged, seizing and escorting Robin out.

“Let go of me!” Robin kicked and twisted, but it didn’t help.

Seething with shame and rage, he threw a re at Ernest. “Who do you think you are? You’ve got no right to keep my wife from me!”
