?Chapter 314:
A deep breath escaped Hadley, her tension easing atst. She hadn’t felt brave enough to look around until now. “Can we go now?” She said “we”?
A wave of happiness washed over Denver.
His smile broadened as he replied, “Yes, we can…”
Feeling unexpectedly bashful, he asked, “Hadley, are you free this evening? I’d love to take you to dinner, if you’d like?” The proposal Denver made seemed subtly suggestive.
Hadley was caught in a dilemma; epting might imply she was open to further advances, and declining coulde off as discourteous. Just then, a vehicle halted next to them, and her name echoed from within. “Hadley?”
They both nced over as the window descended, unveiling N. N had been visiting Ernest in the hospital and was on her way back to the Flynn residence when she noticed someone familiar.
Upon a closer look, indeed, it was Hadley. But Hadley wasn’t by herself.
Her attention then shifted to Denver.
“Denver?” she inquired.
“Yes, it’s me,” responded Denver, stepping forward and courteously bowing his head. “How are you, Mrs. Flynn?”
“Quite well, thank you,” N responded, her smile polite yet her feelings ambivalent.
“Are you two perhaps on a date?” she asked cautiously.
Hadley was caught off guard, her lips parting in surprise.
“Yes,” Denver responded on Hadley’s behalf, giving her a reassuring nce. “We appreciate your support. We’re exploring how things might develop between us.”
“I see,” N responded, her eyes seeking confirmation from Hadley. Observing Hadley’s flushed cheeks, N realized there was no objection from her. It appeared to be the truth.
“That’s good,” N said, her voice expressing genuine relief.
“Indeed, very good,” she added, her tone warm.

N felt genuinely pleased for Hadley as she embarked on this new journey. Still, knowing Eric’s feelings for Hadley made her heart heavy with sympathy for her grandson.
However, N quicklyposed herself, smiling invitingly at Hadley. “Now that we’ve run into each other, why don’t you join me for dinner at hometer? It’s been too long since yourst visit.”
Hadley paused, uncertainty flickering in her eyes. She shared a look with Denver.
With a yful smile, N asked, “What’s the matter, Hadley? Worried about leaving Denver by himself? Why don’t you bothe then? Denver, having dinner at my ce wouldn’t bother you, right?”
“Not at all,” Denver replied, his cheeks coloring slightly. “Since you’re Hadley’s family, that makes you mine as well.”
“That’s just what I wanted to hear!” Nughed heartily and motioned to her driver. “Please open the door for Hadley.”
“I’ve got it, Mrs. Flynn,” Denver interjected, swiftly moving to open the car door himself. He gently held the roof as he stood by. “No rush, Hadley.”
“Thanks.” Hadley gave Denver a warm smile before gracefully sliding into the car.
