The carriage finally arrived in Hasen City after four hours on the road.
Night had fallen by the time they entered the city.
With no curfew in Hasen City tonight, Eliza and herpanions were greeted by a dazzling disy of lights as they passed through the gate. Every home seemed to glow, creating a warm and festive atmosphere.
From the moment they entered, the streets were alive with vibrant decorations. The trees and houses were adorned with shimmering lights, and crowds were bustling with excitement
When they reached the main street hosting the lights, the sights became even more enchanting. There were all kinds of activities that filled the air with joy. Renee couldn''t contain her amazement, eximing "Wow!" at every turn.
As they approached their destination, the streets ahead grew too crowded for the carriage to continue. Eliza and her group stepped off and blended into the lively crowd, continuing their journey on foot.
"Here"
Nn suddenly tossed a pouch of coins into Renee''s hands.
"There are plenty of fun games for kids at Hasen City''s Light Show. Let Tina take you to check them out."
"What! I''m not a kid!" Renee protested, her eyes wide with indignation. Though Renee was only a year younger than Eliza, her petite stature made her look.no older than twelve or thirteen.
"I heard there''s a restaurant on the next street that''s famous for its roasted chicken... said Nn.
Renee immediately turned to Eliza, her face serious. "Your Grace, you know it''s not about roasted chicken being delicious. I just thought of getting one for you."
Eliza replied softly, “No, thanks. As a nun, I don''t eat meat. You go ahead and enjoy it
With Renee gone, Nn''s smile deepened.
He retrieved a bundle from the carriage and pulled out a snow-white cloak embroidered with flowers. Without hesitation, he draped it over Eliza''s shoulders.
He stopped himself from tying the strings and handed them to her casually. "You''re wearing too little. The night air is cold. Don''t let the wind catch you. Tie the cloak properly!
Eliza took the strings and nced at Nn. Remembering his words from earlier, she murmured. "Prince Nn. I didn''t expect you could be so thoughtful to your friend."

"Isn''t he being a bit too thoughtful? A hand warmer, a cloak... It''s almost over the to friend? thought Eliza.
''Good thing that my heart shattered once on the way here. Another crack doesn''t feel as bad now. It''s line. This was all within my expectations, thought Nn.
Even though Nn had anticipated that, hearing it still left a faint ache in his heart.
Nn, everposed despite life''s trials, spoke calmly, "It''s nothing. Serenity, have you forgotten all that you''ve done for me? Just the rare medicinal herbs alone-two of the three listed in my prescription came from you. And then there was that ancient text on extinct herbs you managed to find for me. Your kindness is something I can never fully repay. These small gestures barely scratch the surface."
Nn defily shifted the topic, uning the gifts Eliza had given him to divert her attention.
Eliza raised her eyebrows slightly.
''So, it is all about those herbs. No wonder Nn has been treating me so welltely. Looks like I have been overthinking things. After all, why would someone as dignified as Prince Nn ever fall for a simple nun like me? thought Eliza.
Lost in her thoughts, Elizapletely forgot about the odd things Nn had said earlier when he momentarily lost hisposure
Realizing
ing she had misunderstood Nn''s intentions, Eliza''s checks thushed with embarrassment
s no need to dwell on it."
"Alright, Prince Nn. I only gave you those herbs to repay your kindness. You''ve
helped me so much, so there''s no
Then, Serenity, you shouldn''t dwell on it either.
Standing before her, Nn lowered his gaze, his eyes fi overthink it
