Mirabe didn''t pay Wyatt''s look any mind. She just pulled out her phone, opened a notes app, and quickly listed about a dozen ingredients she needed. After taking a screenshot, she sent it straight to Wyatt''s phone.


    Wyatt took a quick nce and nodded, ready to help. It was then that he remembered the other members of the archaeological team who were also out cold. ncing over at his brother, James, he said, "Oh, right, there are three others who might be in the same boat as Trevor."


    Hearing this, Mirabe simply replied, "Take me to them."


    Wyatt nodded, showing his respect.


    Before long, Mirabe was following Wyatt down the hall to the rooms where the other three were being treated. They had inhaled about the same amount of pollen as Trevor, but since two of them were in worse shape, Mirabe tweaked their prescriptions a bit.


    After giving the injections, Mirabe stepped out of the room and casually asked Wyatt, who was tagging along, "What do they do for a living?"


    "They''re with the Archaeological Society," Wyatt replied without skipping a beat.


    Mirabe raised an eyebrow slightly. What were folks from the Archaeological Society doing in a ce like that?


    Thinking it over, she turned to Wyatt and asked offhandedly, "So, did they find anything good?"


    Wyatt shrugged, "Probably not, but I''m not really sure."


    Mirabe nodded, not pressing further.


    When they got back to Trevor''s room, he was already awake, chatting with James. But he stopped talking when they walked in.


    Trevor didn''t know Mirabe. Being an archaeologist, he was always out and about, and he hadn''t even heard that his son had a girlfriend. Seeing Mirabe there made him curious about who she was.


    James, picking up on his dad''s thoughts, said as Mirabe came closer, "Let me introduce you to my girlfriend, Mirabe. She''s also the one who saved your life."


    Mirabe felt a bit awkward: "......"


    Trevor looked utterly stunned, momentarily forgetting his pain. "What did you say? Can you say that again?"


    Was he hearing things right?


    James had a girlfriend??


    Ignoring his dad''s disbelief, James added, "Oh, and don''t forget to sort out a proper gift for meeting her."


    Mirabe: "......"


    Trevor: "???"


    Was this really about a gift?


    James didn''t bother with his father''s shocked expression. He told Wyatt a few things and then led the


    still-dazed Mirabe out of vers

    A few minutester, Trevor''s cheeks twitched as he finally came to grips with reality. He turned to Wyatt still in disbelief, "James really hasa girlfriend?"


    Wyatt coughed, nodding respectfully, "Yeah, he does."


    "I always figured he''d be happy enough surrounded by his old relics," Trevor


    mused, feeling a mix of emotions.


    But that girl sure was beautiful.


    He wondered which family''s treasure had been imed so casually.


    Trevor shook his head, realizing he hadn''t even exchanged a single word with her. And just like that, she was gone??

    James nodded, reaching for his car keys.
