On Monday, after Celeste and Jordyn finished breakfast and had just packed up to


    head out, the sound of a car came from outside.


    Trevor had arrived.


    Jordyn ran out happily. "Dad, you''re here!"


    "Mhm." Trevor nodded to Celeste.


    "Morning. Shall we get in the car first?"


    Celeste didn''t say anything. She got into his car together with Jordyn.


    In the car, because things had ended a little unpleasantly when Celeste left the

    "Jordyn, are these your mom and dad? Your dad is so handsome, and your mom is so pretty! So, your parents really aren''t divorced?"


    Jordyn lifted her chin and snorted. "Of course not. Your parents are the ones who got divorced. My mom and dad are totally fine."


    Before the parents'' meeting officially began, Jordyn ran off with her ssmates,ughing and ying.


    Celeste watched her back as she went, then withdrew her gaze only to find Trevor looking at her.


    She paused slightly at his gaze.


    Before she could react, however, Tilda came over to greet Celeste.


    It had been quite a while since they''dst met, and the two chatted for some time before stopping.


    Only then did Tilda somewhat awkwardly nod toward Trevor as a greeting.


    Trevor responded politely, "Hello."


    Soon after, the parents'' meeting officially began.
