Chapt
Celeste ignored him, so Trevor didn’t say anything else.
Kieran had just walked out from the other side of the parking lot. Seeing them, he made his way toward Celeste.
“Morning”
Celeste nodded. “Moming.”
Kieran paused for a moment before turning back to give Trevor a brief, indifferent greeting. “Morning.”
Trevor smiled. “Morning”
Today, Trevor was here at YodaVision to discuss a business coboration. As an important figure in thepany, Celeste should have been the one to warmly receive a potential business partner.
Yet, after Kieran greeted both Celeste and Trevor, he noticed that Celeste never once turned back to acknowledge Trevor. She simply walked straight ahead, showing no intention of ying the host.
Was this attitude because of Trevor’s rtionship with Wynn?
Thinking about this, Kieran nced back at Trevor.
However, Trevor didn’t look the least bit upset about Celeste’s treatment of him.
Kieran didn’tment further.
The four of them entered the elevator in silence.
Inside, Kieran stood beside Celeste.
She was wearing high heels and light makeup. She was still as beautiful andposed as ever.
Kieran found himself unable to look away from her elegant profile.
He kept staring at her until he noticed Trevor’s gaze shifting toward him. Only then did he withdraw his gaze and look at Trevor instead.
Seeing him nce over, Trevor simply smiled but said nothing
Soon, the elevator reached YodaVision’s floor.
Celeste stepped out without looking at Trevor. Kieran, having work–rted matters to discuss with her, followed along.
Watching their departing figures, Trevor retracted his gaze and, guided by the receptionist, entered YodaVision’s reception room.
They waited for over ten minutes before Matthias arrived at the office.
Upon entering the reception room and seeing Trevor, he said, “Apologies, Mr. Fleming, I’mte.” Though his words sounded polite, his tone was indifferent, and his expressioncked any real sincerity.
Jacob had been by Trevor’s side for a long time and had metall kinds of powerful figures. Yet, he had never seen anyone dare to treat Trevor with such disregard.
Thinking this, he frowned slightly.
Trevor, however, appeared unfazed. He simply shook Matthias‘ hand and said, “I’m not in a hurry. It’s no.
problem.”
Matthias disliked Trevor, but since they had agreed to coborate, he just wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible.
So, after sitting down, he got straight to the point and began discussing the deal.
Although YodaVision already had a partnership with Innovatech, that deal had been negotiated by someone else Trevor had sent over.
Technically, this was the first time Matthias was directly discussing a business coboration with Trevor
Atst year’s birthday banquet for Betty, Matthias had alrealy gotten a rough sense of how much Trevor understood about the Al field when he overheard him speaking with Zachary
However, their conversation back then had been brief.
Today, they spent nearly three hours discussing the requirements for YodaVision’s next–generation chip in terms ofputing and inference capabilities.
As the conversation progressed, Matthias realized that Trevor’s understanding of Al was far deeper than he had expected.
No matter what topic he brought up, Trevor had no trouble keeping up. His knowledge was vast.
At some points, Matthias even thought–Trevor’s expertise in this field might not be any less than his own.
That thought made him feel a bit frustrated.
Trevor nced at the time and said, “It’s almost noon. Shall we continue in the afternoon?”
“Okay.”
