The Scent of 327

As soon as Beck approached, Kieran noticed him.

His thin lips pressed together in displeasure, and his gaze toward Beck instantly turned cold.

But Beck acted as if he didn’t see it, continuing toward them without the slightest hesitation in his steps.

He stopped in front of Celeste and naturally faced her. “What are you two talking about?”

Celeste, unaware of the tension between them, casually replied, “Work–rted stuff.”

The fact that Celeste could talk so easily with Kieran suggested that Kieran must be quitepetent in his field. In other words, pared to him, Celeste and Kieran had more to talk about.

Not to mention, Kieran was currently working at YodaVision. That meant Kieran had far more opportunities to interact with Celeste than he did.

Thinking about this, the smile on Beck’s face faded slightly

Just as he was about to speak, Matthias walked over,

Seeing both Kieran and Beck standing next to Celeste, he found it a bit odd.

However, he didn’t dwell on it and simply said, “Everyone’s gathered here.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Trevor and Wynn also approached.

    “Mr. Yoder.” Trevor greeted.

Matthias responded with a faint, insincere smile. “Mr. Fleming, do you need something?”

Trevor said, “There’s a project I’d like to discuss with you. wonder if you’d be interested.”

Fleming Group’s techpany was one of the leading firms in the country’s technology sector, holding an extensive portfolio of core patents and cutting–edge innovations.

Their uing product had already generated international buzz

The moment Trevor brought up coboration, Matthias immediately understood what it was about. To be honest, he was quite intrigued.

Besides, as one of the country’s top–tier enterprises, they carried a responsibility to push local innovations onto the global stage and increase international influence.

If they wanted their products to trulypete on the world stage, onepany alone wouldn’t be enough. It required enterprises to support each other, coborate on technology, and achieve mutual sess.

So, despite Matthias‘ personal dislike for Trevor and his reluctance to work with him….

He didn’t need to consult Celeste on this matter as he already had an answer in his heart. Her answer would be the

    same as his

So, he said tly, “Now is not the time to discuss coboration. If you want to talk,e to YodaVision tomorrow at a more appropriate time,”

Trevor wasn’t surprised by his response. He chuckled. “I’ll see you then.”

Matthias, clearly annoyed, asked indifferently, “Anything else, Mr. Fleming?”

“No, that’s all.” Trevor replied before adding, “I won’t bother you any longer.”

With that, he didn’t spare Celeste another nce. He simply turned and left with Wynn.

Before leaving, Wynn looked toward Kieran and Beck.

Kieran, noticing her gaze, turned his face away.

Beck, on the other hand, said nothing

The next day, just as Celeste got out of her car after reaching thepany, she coincidentally ran into Trevor and Jacob, who had also just stepped out of their vehicle.

She paused slightly as she shut the car door.

She knew Trevor would being in the morning to discuss the coboration, but she didn’t expect him to arrive this early.

    Seeing her, Trevor greeted, “Morning.”

Celeste didn’t reply and turned toward thepany entrance.

Since leaving Fleming Group, she had barely seen Jacob. In his mind, Celeste was still the same woman who used to cling to Trevor all the time.

Now, seeing how cold her attitude was toward him, he found it strangely unsettling
