The assistant fell silent, but how could Coleman not catch his drift?
If this kept up, the Williams family would have Solmaris in utter chaos, making enemies out of who knew how many powerful families.
Coleman''s grip tightened around his phone until his knuckles turned white, his face hardening with a cold, simmering rage.
He ground out through clenched teeth, "Ste, you really are something else."
Jonathan frowned. "What''s going on?"
Coleman ryed the assistant''s report to everyone in the room.
A shocked silence swept over them.
Ste, stirring up trouble in Solmaris? Had shepletely lost her mind?
Bang!
Israel mmed his hand down on the table so hard the sound echoed through the room.
"She''s doing this on purpose! Just to spite us, she goes and crashes into cars belonging to other influential families, not caring if anyone gets hurt or killed. That''s downright vicious!"
The Williams family had always enjoyed a solid reputation and good rtionships across their circles.
But since Ste''s return, she''d first exposed Aurora''s scandals, and now she was running people off the road-drawing every grudge right to their doorstep.
It was downright malicious.
Jonathan''s eyelid twitched. He didn''t need to see the scene to imagine the chaos Ste had unleashed outside.
He could already picture the parade of people who''de knocking on their door for answers by the end of the day.
He turned to Skyler. "If we let Ste go on like this, things are only going to get worse. Someone''s going to end up seriously hurt or worse.
Father, we have to do something."
Skyler hesitated. "Star wasn''t the one driving, and I doubt she wanted this to happen. She''s family. We can''t let any harme to her."
Jonathan replied, "Don''t worry, Father. I won''t let anything happen to Star. But we can''t keep letting her run wild, either."
He paused, something dawning on him. "Come to think of it, isn''t Aurora a professional racer? With her driving skills, she should have no trouble catching up to Star."
As soon as the words left his mouth, Israel objected.
"No way. That''s way too dangerous. If Ste finds out Aurora ising after her, who knows what she''ll do? What if she decides to ram Aurora off the road? We can''t gamble with Aurora''s life!"
Skyler agreed. "It''s not like the Williams family is short on capable people We don''t have to put Aurora at risk. If ordinary drivers can''t catch up to Star, then send some top-tier racers after her instead."
He paused, then added, "Send a helicopter for support. Whoever manages to
stop Star''s car gets a three-million-dor reward."
Coleman opened his mouth to protest, but Skyler waved him off.
"That''s enough. Do as I say."
Skyler''s decision was final, and no one dared argue further.

Meanwhile, on Ste''s end-
Abby was looking at Joshua with apletely different expression now.
Like the thousands of viewers watching the live stream, she''d gone from casual curiosity to full-on fangirl. Joshua was just too cool.
He''d been toying with their pursuers for hours, ying a cat-and-mouse game, never letting any of the chasing cars get within ten feet of them.
He even asked Ste, "See any car you don''t like? I can take care of it for you."
His tone was so rxed, as if he were ying the most entertaining game in the world, handling everything with effortless ease.
Abby teased, "Joshua, you know, even if there''s a cash prize, you don''t have to go this hard. Are you trying to bankrupt me today?"
She''d lost count of how many cars Joshua had sideswiped or sent spinning off the road.
Joshua just grinned. "No worries. Buy one, get one free."
As he spoke, he caught sight of several limited-edition sports cars parked up ahead.
He pointed one out. "See that car over there with the 567 te? That belongs to the son of Solmaris''s oil tycoon. This guy is notorious-preys on underage girls, leaves a trail of victims wherever he goes. He''s untouchable. Ordinary people, even those with some power, can''t do a thing to him because of his family''s clout."
