Chapter 611

That afternoon, Vince took his parents to Jessica''s hometown and buried the urn next to the graves of her adoptive mother and grandmother, creating a final resting ce for the woman they had believed was their daughter.

Vince took a picture of his family paying their respects and posted it online, setting the privacy so that only Yates and Timothy could see it.

Yates saw it and stared at the picture, his expression grave.

He knew it was all a ruse by Vince. It was so transparent that even he wasn''t fooled, so how could Timothy possibly believe it?

Still, it was clear the Zimmermans were determined to help Jessica get away from Timothy, and they certainly had no intention of letting their real daughter, Salome, marry him either.

But that was fine. He wasn''t in a hurry.

He was certain that one day, Jessica would reappear as Salome.

Two dayster, the expedited donor matching results for Vince''s parents came back.

    No match.

The news hit Vince so hard he nearly copsed. None of them, not a single person in his family, was a match.

They couldn''t possibly ask his elderly grandfather to get tested; his age and health made him unsuitable for the procedure.

Even Herbert hadn''t anticipated this oue. There were no suitable matches in the donor registry either.

"Do you know where the ck market operates? I''ll go there and find a match," Vince said, his voice strained.

He had never wanted to resort to such measures, but he felt he had no choice. Every day Jessica went without the surgery was another day he couldn''t rest.

"She''s not at that point yet," Herbert insisted. "I hope you won''t even consider this. As a doctor, I can''t endorse any family taking that route. I understand how you feel -believe me, I feel it too-but we can''t do this! The ck market only fuels criminals and their greed."

"Herbert, how much longer can she wait?" Vince asked desperately.

"I spoke with her specialist. She can hold on for about three months."

Vince''s voice was heavy. "Fine. I''ll wait. But I''ll only wait one more month. If there''s

still no match by then, I..."

    "Timothy..."

Vince heard Jessica''s voice over the phone.

Did she just say Timothy''s name?

    "Herbert, is she awake?"

"No, she''s talking in her sleep."

Jessica had no memories of her childhood; she didn''t even remember calling Timothy by his name back then. Could she be starting to remember?

Vince exined to Herbert that Jessica had no recollection of her early years with them and asked him to keep an eye on her. If she could regain those memories they might finally learn how she got lost and what she had been through.

Suddenly, another name came to mind. Hollis. He had to find Hollis.

Meanwhile, Hollis had been released from prison early. He called Secretary Allen, reminding him of Timothy''s promise to give him a sum of money and arrange for him to go abroad upon his release.

Secretary Allen''s voice was cold. "Mr. Greene, I''m sorry, but you are not our Mrs: Lawson''s biological father, nor did you fulfill any fatherly duties while you were her stepfather. President Lawson said helping you get an early release was the most he was willing to do He will not provide any further assistance."

"He can''t just go back on his word!" Hollis roared.

“Then perhaps you should think about how you abandoned her after her adoptive mother died, leaving her to grow up as an orphan for all those years!"

With that, Secretary Allen hung up.

Fuming, Hollis stood outside the Lawson Group headquarters. Just then, a car pulled up in front of him.

    Vince got out.

Hollis''s face lit up as he hurried over.
