Chapter 845

Her office was tiny-no break room, nowhere to hide. If they did anything reckless here, anyone dropping by would see it all.

But Jackson didn''t care one bit. He scooped her up, her legs instinctively wrapping around his waist as he strode to the door and locked it with a sharp click.

    "Jackson!"

Before she could even finish saying his name, he pressed her against the door. "What? Didn''t you say twenty times yourself?"

Her chest rose and fell, breathless and annoyed. She''d never met anyone so outrageous.

"Can''t we wait for tonight? Let''s go to that hotel we usedst time."

"Nope. I think right here is perfect."

She clenched her jaw, face flushing from pale to bright red and back. "I have a meeting soon!"

"Cancel it. This is way more important."

"Jackson, what if you were working and I barged in on you for this? How would you feel?"

He just grinned. "I''d be thrilled."

    "You-!"

She couldn''t win against someone so shameless. The second the word left her lips, his mouth was on hers. He''d wanted her like this for so long-now he couldn''t stop kissing her everywhere.

Someone knocked outside, calling out that her meeting was starting.

She forced herself to stay quiet, cheeks burning, tilting her head back in frustration. She could honestly strangle Jackson right now.

    "Kaitlyn?"

Another knock, this time curious. She never locked her door before. Everyone had seen Jackson follow her in. The ones who knew who he was looked worried- after all, Jackson was married.

Anyone who kept up with Dawson family gossip knew the young master had been forced into a marriage, then disappeared overseas for three years.

She barely noticed when he moved her from the door to the little sofa, then from the sofa to her desk.<fnf956> Updates are released by fin?novel</fnf956>

Two hourster, she finally gave in.

"Jackson, enough. Are you happy now?"

His cheeks were flushed, shirt and suitpletely askew.

He lifted her chin. "Not even close."

    "Don''t push it."

"Kaitlyn, you know what? The moment I tasted you, I realized your husband must

be useless. Otherwise, how could you be so-"

He leaned in, whispered the word in her ear, and watched her blush re up instantly. Only then did he look satisfied.

He held her tight, ready to keep going, but she pped him.

She was so spent, though, it barely counted as a p-it was more like a soft pat.

He ignored it, ncing at the clock. "If we stop now, it doesn''t count. I''m not done."

Kaitlyn wanted to p him again.

She gritted her teeth. With how shameless Jackson was, if they stopped now, he''d definitely im it didn''t count.

She''d already been bitten by the dog-no point in pretending otherwise.

She took a long breath, closed her eyes. "Whatever. Do as you please."

Jackson just raised an eyebrow, and they kept going until it was almost evening. She waspletely drained, barely steady on her feet. So, she just copsed onto the sofa to rest.

Her phone was full of missed calls-all from her assistants, wanting to know what was happening inside.

No need to say anything. By now, everyone in the agency probably knew what was up between her and Jackson.

She was too tired to move, so she ignored the calls. She''d just wait until everyone left, then slip out and avoid all the questions.

Before she knew it, it was ten at night. Jackson still hadn''t left. He sat beside her, holding her in his arms.

Kaitlyn frowned. "Why are you still here?"

"I''m worried about you. Look at you. Isn''t your husbanding to pick you up?"

She didn''t answer. She almost called her male co-star for help, but with the state she was in-covered in marks-there was no way she could go home.

Jackson leaned in, grinning. "Why don''t we just go to our usual hotel?"

Her eyelid twitched. She looked at him, took a deep breath. "Thanks for the trouble, Jackson."

One down, neen to go. The sooner she finished, the sooner he''d be out of her life.

But at the hotel, Jackson didn''t touch her. After her shower, she found him freshly washed, sitting on the sofa and texting someone.

Kaitlyn couldn''t care less who he was messaging. She walked right over, leaned down to kiss him.

A glint of surprise shed in his eyes. He almost asked why she was suddenly being so forward, but then he noticed how calm her eyes were she was just trying to get through the twenty times, nothing more.

His face darkened. He ced a hand on her shoulder and gently pushed her away.

Kaitlyn frowned. Was this guy, who was usually all over her, suddenly holding back?

    "What''s wrong?"

She leaned down for another kiss, but he dodged her.

"Jackson, what, can''t keep up anymore?"

Heughed, gripping her chin. "A real man never admits that. But I know what you''re trying to do, so cut it out. If you start it, it doesn''t count. Only the ones I start count."
