Sierra clutched Sky and suddenly broke down in tears, sobbing uncontrobly.
"Sky, I can''t stay with this devil anymore! He''s not my husband. He''s a malicious man who hits me!"
Seeing this, Sky knew there was no way he could let Sierra stay here any longer.
"Alright, I''ll take you away," Sky said, bending down to pick up Sierra. "Samuel, you heard it yourself. Sierra doesn''t want to stay with you. I''m taking her away today, but don''t worry, I''ll make sure she gets to her parents. Since you''re such a scumbag, you should just divorce her already and let her go!"
Samuel sneered. "Sky, what gives you the right to say that? I haven''t even settled the score with you for what you did to my sister."
"What right do you have to settle the score with me?" Sky retorted. "Given the things you said about Sophia, you''re not even worthy of being her brother. You have no right to settle the score with me. Now, get out of my way."
Sky held Sierra tightly and strode toward the door.
Samuel limped forward to block them, but Tom quickly stepped in front of him. "Mr. Sinir, your leg is in bad shape. The doctor said you need to rest. You should sit down and recover instead."
Tom was strong and had no real respect for Samuel. They were working for Sierra, who was paying them. Since Sierra had made it clear that she didn''t want be with an abusive man like Samuel, they had no intention of letting him stop her from leaving.
"Let go of me! Are you my caretaker, or are you Sky''s dog?"
Samuel struggled, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn''t match Tom''s strength.
Tom dragged an exhausted Samuel back to the bedroom and threw him onto the bed.
"Mr. Sinir, you''re an adult. Can''t you just cooperate for once? Why are you acting like this? A man who hits his wife isn''t a man at all. A real man uses his strength to protect, not to harm," Tom said.
Samuel snapped, "Shut up! What do you know? Prepare my car! I''m going after Sky. I won''t let him take Cee!"
Samuel''s eyes were bloodshot. He knew Sierra wanted a divorce, but he had always thought that as long as he didn''t give up, she would eventuallye around.
Besides, he hadn''t cheated or done anything wrong. Sierra had been vited, and as her husband, he never abandoned her. He still wanted to make things work, which was already his greatest sacrifice.
Why should Sierra feel wronged and insist on divorcing him?
Samuel couldn''t stand it.
What made it even worse was the fact that Sky had brought Sierra home today.
Samuel could have epted it from any other man, but not Sky.
Samuel was so enraged that his eyes turned red. Sierra even called Sky so sweetly. She had never called him "Samuel" like that.
Samuel shouted in frustration and mmed his hand against the mattress. "Why is this happening? Why does Sky hurt Sophia, end up in prison, yet Sierra still lets him carry her? I won''t ept this!"
Samuel''s outburst was so loud that it woke Evan and Maggie. The three of them stood at the door to Samuel''s bedroom, silently watching him lose control.
Samuel snapped, "Maggie, get a driver right now! You two, be my bodyguards. I''m going to bring Sierra back. We haven''t divorced, yet she''s shamelessly cheating on me. She really is just trash."
Maggie yawnedzily and replied, "Mr. Sinir, please stop. You''re alwaysining about Mrs. Sinir, but have you taken a
moment to reflect on your
You''re acting just like an ang beast! You should stop yelling. It''ste. Time to go to bed now." s
She paused briefly before continuing, "Why do you think Mrs. Sinir drinks? You need to look at yourself in the mirror. If you took care
your family, earned money, and treated Mrs. Sinir right, would she really be out there drowning her
sorrows in alcohol? s
"You''re alwaysining about Mr. Sky, but you should judge yourself first. He''s taller, more handsome, and has better manners than you. He''s also a lot gentle with Mrs. Sinir. If you were doing your part Mrs. Sinir wouldn''t need to look elsewhere. You two understand that, don''t you?" s
Tom and Evan both nodded in agreement. "Exactly. We might look tough and intimidating, but we never hit women. Mr. Sinir, did you hear that? Even rough guys like us understand this. Why can''t you?"
Samuel''s frustration was boiling over, and he was about to explode. "Shut up! All of you, just shut up! Get out of here! Leave me alone!"
Maggie replied, "Alright, we''ll head back to sleep right now."
"Let''s go," Evan added. "Since Mr. Sinir wants us to leave, it would be rude to stay."
Tom nodded. "Alright."
The trio left immediately after, but before they did, they locked the door behind them. To prevent Samuel from causing troubleter, they reinforced the door from the outside to make sure he couldn''t get out.
"Let''s go to sleep!" Maggie said, waving her hand before heading straight to her room.
Tom and Evan took turns sleeping on the living room couch to keep an eye on Samuel, preventing him from sneaking out in the middle of the night.
Meanwhile, Samuel was still losing it. After a while, he pulled out his phone and dialed Sierra''s number.
The call was answered, but unsurprisingly, it was Sky on the other end.
"Hello, Samuel. Are you done yet?" Sky asked.
At that point, Samuel was almost on the verge of tears. "Sky, why do you have Cee''s phone? I need to talk to her."
Sky replied calmly, "Sierra''s asleep. Samuel, just stop it. You look really pathetic when you act like this. Sierra doesn''t love you anymore. You should agree to the divorce. It''ll save you some dignity."
Choking on his tears, Samuel said, "I won''t divorce her. I haven''t done anything wrong. Why should I divorce her?"
"It''s clear there''s no reasoning with you," Sky said, cutting the call without another word.<fn3f0e> ???? ????s? ???????s ?? Find★Novel</fn3f0e>
Meanwhile, Sierray on the backseat, covered with Sky''s jacket. She smiled faintly, clearly satisfied with how everything was unfolding.
Samuel was arrogant and prideful. Deep down, he had always looked down on her, categorizing her as just another woman like Sophia. Yet, he still insisted on clinging to the image of the devoted husband.
She had intentionally let Sky take her back to Causeway Bay. She had purposely called Sky sweetly in front of Samuel and mentioned the abuse he had subjected her to.
She had done all of this to provoke him, and as expected, Samuel couldn''t keep it together.
