Chapter 721

The driver awkwardly nced at Sky, who stepped forward and gently helped Sierra into the car.

    "Sierra, be careful," Sky said.

"Thank you, Sky," Sierra sweetly called out, then obediently got into the car.

Once inside, she rested her head on Sky''s shoulder and quickly fell asleep.

As Sky saw her fall asleep, he took off his jacket and draped it over her. He didn''t have any ulterior motives. He had simply always been the one to take care of younger girls, like he had with his little sister growing up.

Sierra wasn''t his sister, but everything about her reminded him of Emma. Without thinking, he treated her with the same level of care.

"Mr. Walker, where should I take Ms. Remington?" the driver asked cautiously.

Sky wasn''t sure where Sierra lived, so he gently called out to her. "Sierra, wake up. Tell me where you live."

"Causeway Bay," Sierra mumbled, then snuggled against Sky and fell asleep again.

"Take us to Causeway Bay," Sky instructed.

He knew which vi in Causeway Bay Samuel lived in.

"Yes, Mr. Walker," the driver replied, heading toward Causeway Bay.

As Sierra slept soundly on the ride, she asionally murmured in her sleep, though her words were unclear.

When they arrived in Causeway Bay, Sky instructed the driver to pull up directly in front of Samuel''s vi. The driver opened the door, and Sky stepped out first. He then walked around to the other side and carefully lifted Sierra out of the car.

    "Sierra, we''re here," Sky whispered.

Sierra let out a soft whimper. She buried her head against Sky''s chest. It was clear she wanted to sleep and didn''t want to be disturbed.

Sky gave a small sigh and signaled for the driver to ring the doorbell.

A few momentster, Tom opened the door.

"Who are you looking for?" Tom asked.

"I''m here for Samuel," Sky replied, ncing at Sierra in his arms. "His wife is drunk, and I need him toe out and take her."

Tom responded bluntly, "Mr. Sinir can''te to the door. He''s got a broken leg, and he''s limping now."

Sky stood silently for a moment, processing this.

"I''ll carry Mrs. Sinir inside," Tom said, but Sky stepped back, feeling a surge of protectiveness.

Now that Samuel had a broken leg and Tom looked like a burly man, Sky couldn''t help but worry. If he left Sierra alone with the two of them in the house, anything could happen.

Given what happened with Sophia, Sky was especially cautious now.

Sierra groaned again in Sky''s arms. "I''m thirsty."

    "Get her some water," Sky instructed Tom, then turned and carefully carried Sierra inside.<fn007b> ?? ??? ???? ?? ???? ???? ???????s, ????s? ??s?? find(?)ovel</fn007b>

Samuel''s Causeway Bay vi had the sameyout as most of the others, though each was uniquely decorated.

Tom rushed off to get a ss of water while Sky carefullyid Sierra on the couch. Hearing the noise, Samuel hobbled out of the bedroom with a crutch. "Sky." Samuel''s anger red instantly as he looked at Sky and then at Sierra lying beside him. "Sky, what did you do to Cee?"

Sky looked at him calmly. "She was drunk. I just brought her back."

"Drunk? Why was she drinking with you?" Samuel exploded. "Sky, you''re a man fresh out of prison. Have you no shame? You know Sierra is my wife, right? Why are you the one bringing her back?"

Sky''s expression darkened. "If I didn''t bring her back, should I have just let her get drunk and be picked up by someone on the street?

"Samuel, take a look at yourself. You''re jealous, ugly, and disgusting. Why do you think Sierra is out drinking? It''s because of you. As her husband, you make her feel unsafe and disgusted. She wishes she could just divorce you."  s

Sky rose to his full height. He was an inch taller than Samuel, and with Samuel

limping on his crutches, his presence was clearly diminished.

Sky had never wanted to say anything over the years, but hearing Samuel use him of being shameless pushed him too far.

He had been to jail, but he never sunk low enough to try to take advantage of his wife''s wealth.

    Sky looked at him coldly.

    "Shameless? Who could be more

    shameless than you, Samuel? I

brought Sierra back out of kindness, and instead of thanking me, youre hurling insults at me. Do you think everyone is as filthy and disgusting as you are?"  s

"Sky, it''s so loud! I want water." Sierra suddenly whimpered, sitting up on the couch and reaching for Sky''s shirt. "Sky, who is this man? He looks so ugly!"

Samuel, who was called ugly by Sierra, lost hisposure. "Sierra, who am I? I''m your husband, damn it! We''re not even divorced yet and you''re hanging out with Sky. Are you trying to cheat on me?"

The frightened Sierra burst into tears. She quickly hid behind Sky, gripping his shirt tightly. "Sky, I''m scared. This man is so ugly and scary. I don''t want him to be my husband!"

As Sierra cried, Sky quickly turned around. Sierra immediately hugged him tightly. "Sky, take me away from here. I don''t want to stay here. I don''t want to be with this abuser!"

Sky turned back around, looking at Samuel sharply. "Samuel, you even abused her?"

Samuel was furious. "I didn''t abuse her! When have I ever hit Cee? I neverid a finger on her!"

Sierra peeked out from behind Sky, trembling. "He''s lying. He hits me, Sky. He really does."

Samuel couldn''t believe it. "Cee, when have I ever hit you? Even if you want a divorce, you don''t need to make up such lies!"

"Drunk people don''t lie," Sky interrupted Samuel. "Samuel, you''re a grown man, a husband, yet you''re abusing your wife. You really are something. I think your other leg should be broken too."

"Sky!" Samuel yelled at him, losing control. "I told you I never hit Cee!"

"You did hit me," Sierra said, hiding behind Sky, crying softly. "Sky, he really did hit me. I have photos and injury reports."

    Samuel was taken aback.
