?Chapter 1371:
The press conference had been broadcast live, and the entirepany was buzzing. Thousands of employees eagerly discussed what Bryan had shown Javier. Eileen sat in the secretary’s office, surrounded by curious staff members.
“Mrs. Dawson, tell us, please. We’ve been dying to know. It’s all we’ve been thinking about today,” one of them asked.
“In short,” Eileen began, “it was Sanford acting solo and leaving behind evidence for them to use. But honestly, everyone has a weak spot, so the whole situation isn’t that surprising.”
She deliberately left out the part about Raymond being threatened.
The incident with the Deleon Group had left the employees of the Dawson Group feeling uneasy. The corporate world wasplicated, and giving them too many details would only create confusion.
Eileen simply rified that Raymond had been coborating on some projects with the Deleon Group before, and now he was back with their team.
The more observant employees sensed the subtleplexities of the situation, but the rest took her exnation at face value and returned to their work.
Meanwhile, back in Bryan’s office, the atmosphere was tense.
Bryan stood at therge floor-to-ceiling window, gazing out at the wintryndscape. After a moment of silence, he turned and said, “Go to HR and submit your resignation yourself.”

“Mr. Dawson!” Sanford eximed, clearly rattled. “I didn’t see thising. I was so close to getting that n. How was I supposed to know he had a hidden camera in his office?”
Bryan’s gaze turned icy. “That’s not the real issue here. The real problem is that you acted without my approval, causing significant loss.”
Sanford nced at the two people standing beside him, hoping for some support, but neither Raymond nor Leandro spoke.
Sanford was bewildered. “But… everything’s fine. We didn’t suffer any loss.”
Bryan’s voice remained cold as he replied, “Raymond’s two months of undercover work and the hardships he endured at the Deleon Group have all been in vain. Isn’t that a loss?”
The weight of Bryan’s words hit Sanford hard, sending a chill down his spine.
Sanford and Leandro had been ced as pawns by Eileen within the Deleon Group. However, Raymond was far more important. If he gained Amoura’s trust, he could be a valuable source of information, especially in crucial situations. Moreover, he was much more likely to win Amoura’s trust than Sanford or Leandro.
Raymond always acted as though he were being forced to do things, always annoyed with Amoura. The more he behaved this way, the more convincing he became.
Sanford’s face went pale as the realization sank in.
Leandro spoke up, “Mr. Dawson, this is partly my fault. I should have kept a closer eye on him. He was just trying to help thepany and wasn’t thinking straight. We’ve both been through a lot at the Deleon Group. Please don’t do this…”
