    Eileen didn’t find out Raymond had been threatened until she got back to the car.


    “So, he spilled everything to you but left me in the dark?” She crossed her arms and immediately began blocking Raymond on her phone.


    She blocked him on every tform.


    “He has been dealing with a lot from the Deleon familytely. He couldn’t reach out to you before. Maybe cut him some ck this time.” Bryan watched as Eileen blocked Raymond.


    Eileen paused to consider his words. “I suppose that makes sense. He was working undercover, after all, with no time to reach out to me. But you… You always had the time, didn’t you? You knew this a long time ago, but you didn’t tell me!”


    Bryan froze as he noticed her scrolling through his social media ounts, about to block him.


    “You knew Raymond was forced into this and even teamed up with him to y double agent. Every night, you slept beside me, and yet you kept this from me. It wasn’t because you didn’t have time to tell me—you just chose not to tell me.”


    Eileen finished blocking Bryan and then tossed her phone down, turning away, her expression icy.


    She hadn’t brought the matter up before, not wanting to divert Bryan’s attention.


    But the whole situation with Raymond had hurt her.


    She had feared Raymond had been forced into betraying them, but she had also been scared that Raymond had betrayed them willingly.

    “That’s not it. It was better if fewer people knew about the whole thing,” Bryan exined.


    Eileen scoffed. “You’re quite the secret keeper. Don’t worry; I’ll stay far away from you from now on. That way, you won’t have to stress about identally spilling your secrets to me.”


    Her sharp sarcasm left Bryan momentarily speechless.


    He wasn’t sure how to exin himself. Raymond had been in a dangerous position, working for Amoura. If Eileen had known the full extent of it, she would have worried about him constantly. Bryan hadn’t told her to shield her from unnecessary stress.


    But now, her anger was unmistakable, and it was his fault.


    With Leandro and Sanford trailing behind them in their cars, Bryan couldn’t take Eileen home to calm her down. He had no choice but to head to the office first.


    Upon arriving at thepany, Eileen headed straight to the secretary’s office for a chat, while Bryan, his expression dark, went to his own office, Sanford and Leandro following him.
