Chapter 1327

    ?Chapter 1327:

The delicious smell made Eileen’s stomach grumble.

“Are you hungry?” Ruby asked with a smile. “How about I make you some spaghetti? There’s still a couple of hours until dinner.”

A wave of warmth filled Eileen’s heart, and she nodded in agreement, settling down in the dining room to prepare the vegetables for dinner.

Lately, they had been handling the cooking themselves, and Bryan had be the primary cook.

They had stocked up on ingredients that Bryan could work with, perfect for making Christmas meals.

Ruby noticed Eileen preparing the vegetables and took away the remaining grocery bags. “Just finish up there and wash your hands. The spaghetti will be done shortly. I’ll check if Gabri’s hungry.”

Ruby removed her apron and stepped outside, softly calling to Gabri, “I made spaghetti. Want some?”

“Yes!” Gabri jumped up from the pool, causing warm water to spill all over the floor.

“Oh no!” Ruby eximed, rushing to grab a nket to ce on the resting couch before putting the dripping Gabri on it. “Sit here for a minute. I’ll grab you some clothes. I need to clean this up fast before someone slips…”

The setting sun bathed the courtyard in a soft golden light.

Eileen observed Ruby bustling around, the delicious aroma of food filling the air, and she leaned back in her dining chair, feeling rxed.

Suddenly, footsteps approached from behind. Eileen turned to see Bryan, dressed in ck casual pants and a in T-shirt. He gently kissed her forehead before heading into the kitchen.

“Hungry?” Bryan asked as he spotted the spaghetti. He ced it on arge te and handed the te to Eileen. Eileen quickly reminded him, saying, “Don’t forget, Gabri wants some, too.”

“How much can she really eat?” Bryan chuckled, retrieving a smaller te and serving a small portion for Gabri.

When Ruby brought Gabri to the table, Gabri noticed Eileen’s muchrger tepared to her own tiny one, and she immediately eximed, “My te is so small!”

“There’s more in the kitchen; don’t worry,” Bryan replied with a grin, turning to her. “Just sit down and start eating.” Gabri pouted in response.

As Ruby sat down and tended to Gabri, she said, “Gabri, you’ll need to start learning from your daddy how to protect your mommy. She’s carrying your little brother or sister in her belly.”

This was the first time they had mentioned this to Gabri.

Gabri froze, her fork hovering in mid-air, her eyes wide with surprise.

“What’s wrong, sweetie?” Ruby asked, rmed. “Are you choking?”

Eileen dropped her fork and rushed over to Gabri, gently pinching her cheeks to open her mouth and check.

Gabri’s mouth was empty. She stuck her tongue out yfully, pushed Eileen’s hand away, and stood up on her chair to pat Eileen’s shoulder. “Mommy, sit down,” she said.
