    Although the pregnancy was joyful news, Eileen knew she had to be mindful of others’ feelings and keep it a secret for now.


    Le understood Eileen’s predicament but also felt a sense of happiness seeing the resemnce between Eileen and her daughter.


    “You’ve said it now, so I’ll be expecting a big gift,” Eileen teased with a smile, looking at the scenery. She continued to engage in a lighthearted conversation with Le.


    Suddenly, she noticed Amoura walking by quickly. Eileen paused for a moment, recalling that the Deleon family had moved into a vi nearby after returning to the country.


    Amoura appeared to be in the middle of a phone call, her smile forced. She didn’t notice Eileen and Le, and her voice was loud.


    “Darling, why can’t you trust me? The Dawson family has been incredibly oppressive, and I’ve been tormented by them. What? No, there’s no need for you to get involved.     Eileen raised an eyebrow. “Doesn’t he have a wife? Why are you the one picking him up?”


    Bryan replied, “Based on what I’ve discovered, Amoura married Javier only a month after they met, and she even had surgery to resemble histe wife. She’s been relying on his lingering affection for her. Many people abroad don’t like Amoura, but Javier’spletely taken with her. I need to have a word with him before she can talk to him.”


    Bryan knew that if he wanted to drive a wedge between Javier and Amoura, he would need to move quickly.


    “Isn’t Amoura going to pick Javier up at the airport? Won’t things get awkward if you bump into her?” Eileen could already picture the tension between them.


    Winona took the main seat while Ruby sat directly across from her.


    By therge window, Le was ying with Gabri, but there was an uneasy tension in the air.


    Winona seemed to have just arrived, and before anyone could say anything, Eileen made her way down the stairs.


    Ruby immediately felt a sense of relief when she saw Eileen.


    Eileen greeted Winona as she walked over, linked arms with Ruby, and sat down next to her. “What brings you here so early, Mrs. Baker?”
