?Chapter 1264:
Aaron set down his drink, trying to follow Adalina, but his ssmates stopped him.
“Aaron, don’t bail on us now. We haven’t even had the cake yet…”
“I just want to walk her out,” Aaron said, trying to leave.
However, one of his ssmates threw an arm around Aaron’s neck, forcing him back into his seat. “No need to walk her out. Once she’s out of the alley, she’ll hit the main road. It’s crowded there; she’ll be alright.”
Adalina hadn’t wanted Aaron to walk her out, and she was too focused on leaving the ce to feel scared.
However, as soon as she stepped out of the private room, she almost collided with one of the punks she had seen earlier at the entrance. Her heart skipped a bit in fear.
Under the guise of offering support, the punk intentionally brushed his hand against Adalina’s arm.
“Sorry,” Adalina said, taking a hasty step back to put some distance between them.
With a burst of speed, Adalina walked past the punk and made a beeline for the door. At the entrance, when she saw the group of punks smoking, she hesitated for a second before bolting.
Once she was a safe distance away from the club entrance, Adalina’s tense body rxed, and she stopped to catch her breath. Despite the icy winter air, her skin glistened with perspiration.
Just then, she felt the light ahead of her abruptly dim.
Adalina found herself encircled by some people, their faces illuminated only by the faint glow of neon lights. A sense of dread washed over her as she straightened up, looking at the punks closing in.
“Hey girl, want to make friends with us?”
Adalina forced a steady tone. “I really need to go home now. Would you mind letting me pass?”
“It’s not smart to be around here alone. We’ll walk you home. There’s a quicker way through that alley.” A skinny man stubbed out his cigarette, tossing it at Adalina’s feet.
Startled, Adalina took a few steps back, only to bump into someone. She swiftly reversed direction, but another figure was there as well.
The men surrounded Adalina from all sides, pushing and shoving her until she was forced to go into the dark alley. Disoriented and nauseated by the pungent stench of cigarettes and liquor, Adalina suddenly felt a tight grip on her waist, and she burst into tears.
Then, multiple grasping hands tore at Adalina’s clothing, overwhelming her with their frenzied assault and leaving her paralyzed with shock.
“Let me go! I’ll call the police! You’ll get punished! My parents won’t let you get away with this!”
Adalina’s frantic threats only amused the punks, reinforcing their perception of her as an innocent and naive girl.
Adalina’s bulky winter attire offered little protection against the punks’ brutal grip, and she crumpled to the ground. Two swift psnded on her face, leaving her reeling and disoriented, her protective hands dropping limply from her chest.
“Let go of her.” A cold voice suddenly came from behind the group of punks.
