Chapter 813

    ?Chapter 813:

He continued, “Where is your self-respect?”

As Dolores lowered her head, biting her lip and refusing to respond, Julio’s anger red. He lifted his hand and gripped her delicate neck. His grip tightened as if he meant to strangle her. Struggling to breathe, Dolores’ face reddened, veins bulging in her neck, and her eyes turned red as well. Julio’s cold expression mirrored her tearful gaze.

“I have no dignity. I’m just a failure. You’re set to be the head of the Fergusoni family. Look at you, so superior, yet why bother with me? Don’t you see how demeaning this is for you?” Tears streamed down Dolores’ cheeks as she pelted him with her questions, each one a struggle to utter.

Upon hearing this, a storm of emotions churned in Julio’s chest. He suddenly released his hold. He could have killed her if he hadn’t controlled himself. Dolores copsed to the ground, breathing heavily.

She looked up at Julio, got to her feet, and dered, “I’ve told you before that I’ve settled all my debts to you. I would even give my life if you still resent me. But since you haven’t taken my life today, I hope from now on we can act as strangers or even enemies. That would be better than this torment!” With that, she shoved Julio aside and sprinted back into the mansion.

Julio watched her leave, pondering her words, frustration boiling inside him.

In a sudden gesture, he swung his arm and punched the car window. The ss shattered.

Blood flowed from his knuckles, yet he seemed oblivious to the pain. The car rm went off, drawing the attention of the Vazquez household staff. They hurried over, shocked by the scene. The housekeeper quickly acted, taking Julio to tend to his hand.

Before Eileen stepped out, she noticed some noises outside but didn’t know what was happening. Her thoughts were consumed by Bryan. As she responded to his messages, she asionally looked up to acknowledge Le’s remarks.

Noticing Eileen was distracted, Le fell silent. She shifted slightly and sneakily nced at Eileen’s phone screen. The smile that yed on Eileen’s lips reminded Le of the look her daughter had when she was in love. Le, aware that Eileen was so aplished, thought it unlikely for her not to have a significant other at her age. She even believed Eileen might be married.

Previously, she had suspected that the so-called cousin fromst time was actually Eileen’s husband, but Eileen had denied the question. Thus, Le wasn’t sure about that. She thought of the child the so-called cousin had brought… could the child be Eileen’s?

“Mommy, I’m being good!” Eileen identally yed a voice message Bryan had sent over the weekend.

The child’s voice was so endearing that Le couldn’t help but lean closer to Eileen’s phone. She remarked, “This voice is so sweet. Is this the baby you visited that day?”

“Yes,” Eileen replied. It was only then that Eileen realized she hadn’t informed Le about her marriage and her daughter. She quickly pulled up some photos of Gabri and showed them to Le.

“Her name is Gabri, and she’s one year old.”

Le’s mood brightened at the sight of the photos, and she smiled fondly, saying, “Gabri? I didn’t pay enough attention to her that day. Is sheing today?”

“She can’te today,” Eileen replied, reminding Le. It was only then that Le remembered that Gianna had met Bryan before, thinking he was Eileen’s cousin.
