    Denise was about to respond sharply but paused to reconsider.


    The apartment, after all, had been purchased with Eileen’s real parents’ money in exchange for her whereabouts. It was registered under her name.

    “What’s the problem?” Judie cut her off. “Didn’t they need to find Eileen urgently to let her see her grandmother onest time? They used up all their savings to give us the money. Their entire life savings was only two million dors. They are poor, and Eileen wouldn’t acknowledge them if she knew this. I hired someone to impersonate her to fulfill their wish. Isn’t that perfect for everyone?”


    Judie had taken the money and enlisted a woman, who had been a kept mistress since her youth, to impersonate Eileen and visit Eileen’s grandmother.

    Once Eileen’s grandmother passed away, her colleague would simply return, pretending to get married and have a family. That would effectively conclude the matter.

    She called Raymond on her way back home, requesting him to investigate who owned the apartment and the nature of the transaction involved.

    She spotted Bryan and Gabri ying in the small park.


    Upon seeing Eileen approach, Gabri waved her little arms excitedly.


    From behind the ck fence, Gabri reached out, trying to touch Eileen.


    After parking, Eileen leaned over the fence to give Gabri a kiss.


    Before Eileen could fully straighten up after kissing Gabri, Bryan enveloped her in a hug and kissed her on the lips.


    Gabri watched intently, her eyes widening as she saw them kiss for a few seconds.


    “No!” she eximed, her teeth clenched in disapproval.
