    “I don’t need your protection, and I never will,” Eileen dered defiantly, refusing to give in, even though Jonathan was tightly gripping her cor.


    Noting the shift in Jonathan’s expression, she smirked. “Do you really think that you can surpass Bryan by tormenting me? You will never surpass him. All you’re doing is proving to everyone that you are just a coward who bullies women!”


    Jonathan’s face flushed with fury. “You are incredibly stubborn! Are you trying to provoke me into giving you a quick death?”


    That wasn’t true. Eileen couldn’t ept the way others belittled Bryan.


    Even though Bryany motionless in bed now, unable to awaken, she refused to yield to Jonathan’s threats. This was because she was representing Bryan!


    “Your stubbornness is infuriating!” Jonathan snapped. “I won’t show any mercy. Today, you are going to face ruin at my hands!” Jonathan stood up and dragged Eileen toward the door.


    Battered and exhausted from Brandon’s earlier attack, Eileencked the strength to fight back now. As she was yanked toward the door, she clung to it with all her might, refusing to let go.


    Jonathan crouched down, prying her fingers away with force.


    Exhaustion had drained Eileen’sst reserves of strength, and a flicker of despair began to cloud her eyes.

    He released Eileen and barked orders for all his bodyguards to charge forward. But despite their efforts, they couldn’t stop the man.


    Every inch of Eileen’s body ached, and it took all her effort just to sit up. Her back was against the door as she struggled to catch her breath. When she finally lifted her head, her eyes widened in disbelief.


    She saw Bryan, whose expression was dark and radiating a murderous intensity. He wore a ck suit jacket over a blue and white hospital gown, his chiseled features set in a tense expression.


    Bryan quickly knocked down the bodyguards with swift, decisive blows and hurried down the hallway. Josue and Jacob had also arrived with an army of bodyguards, and within minutes, they had turned the tables.


    It wasn’t until thest bodyguard was taken down that Bryan noticed Eileen in the corner, her back pressed against the door. Her long ck hair was tangled, and her clothes were in disarray. Despite her condition, her eyes sparkled with a mix of happiness, excitement, and relief.
