?Chapter 610:
“That won’t be necessary,” Eileen replied. She picked up the document from the table and added, “Thew will handle your punishment.”
With that, she turned and left.
Once she was back in her car, Eileen instructed someone to monitor Z’s phone calls. She also sent the evidence of Z’s involvement in her parents’ murder to the police.
As soon as Eileen left, Z’s mood darkened.
The cigarette in her hand burned slowly. It wasn’t until she felt the sharp sting from the burn that she snapped back to reality. She hastily tossed the cigarette into the trash and rinsed her hand under the faucet.
The pain radiated from her fingers through her limbs, and the cold tap water did nothing to soothe the difort.
In a sudden burst of rage, she hurled the dishes from the stove to the floor.
The sound of porcin shattering echoed throughout the room, and the piecesnded at the feet of Milford, who had just entered.
Milford nced coldly at Z’s frantic state. “How many times have I reced those dishes for you? Next time, I’ll get you iron dishes.”
“Why are you here? Can’t you see how awful things are for me? Eileen is backing you up and letting you stay at school. Are you feeling very satisfied with yourself?” Z snapped angrily.
Milford tossed his schoolbag onto the sofa and began tidying the table. “I’m not that kind of person.”
Even though Eileen had arranged for him to stay at school and given him money, Milford continued to work hard to earn his own. Over time, he’d even shared some of his earnings with Z.
The money from the vi sale had already been squandered by Z. When Milfordst visited, Z had gone without food for two days.

As he was cleaning, Milford noticed a piece of paper on the floor. It contained a chat history that seemed to reveal someone had hired a truck to carry out the murder of Z’s parents.
Before he could fully read it, Z quickly grabbed the paper, ripped it to pieces, and tossed it in the trash.
“What was that?” Milford’s expression turned serious as he recalled his parents’ car ident. “I asked you a question. Answer me!”
Z sneered. “I thought you were clever. Can’t you figure it out? They sold me to the Dawson family. They got what they deserved! They ruined my life!”
Milford, who had distanced himself from his parents because of the situation with Z, had spent most of his time with his grandmother and had little memory of his parents. He never expected that Z would be connected to their deaths.
“Z, you’re a monster! You project your suffering onto everyone. You’ve made Bryan go missing and made Eileen miserable. You even killed your own parents!” Milford shouted.
Though he had never condoned Z’s actions, he had felt sympathy for her, believing she had suffered immensely. Despite his reluctance, he had felt obligated to look after her.
But now, Z had shattered all his perceptions of her—she was not just cruel, she was evil.
