?Chapter 545:
Gabri had be deeply attached to Eileen. She would get upset when separated from her, even briefly, making it difficult for Bryan to help care for her.
Eileen worried that Bryan might me himself even more if she didn’t allow him to help. After thinking for a moment, she said, “Alright, but be cautious if you go. I heard from my mom that when you went to save Gabri, you reached an agreement with Coen, which is why Coen let my mom leave with Gabri. What did you promise him?”
It had only been two days and two nights since the incident, but it felt like an eternity. Eileen’s mind was cluttered with unresolved issues.
“He… He just wanted me to step aside for Travis and leave the Dawson family,” Bryan exined. Then, he added, “That Christos you know is likely Coen’s son, Travis.”
Eileen was taken aback. “He’s mixed-race?”
Bryan nodded. “Yes, it’s apparent he isn’t the biological son of Brandon and Lydia because he’s mixed-race. They kept him hidden for twenty years, too scared to make him appear in public. Despite all our digging, we only found a photo and couldn’t verify if the person in the photo was indeed Travis.”
When they established that Travis’ biological father was Coen, Bryan became convinced that the ‘good friend’ Christos, whom Eileen had mentioned, was actually Travis.
“He helped me before,” Eileen said, puzzled. “If he’s Travis, why did he help me?”
“He doesn’t want to change his identity. He probably hates that Lydia wants to use the Dawson family to create a new identity for him. Now, with Coen in trouble and their true identities revealed, they are on the run,” Bryan replied.
But Christos had remained clean, despite his father’s involvement in international crimes.
The police aimed to locate him and keep him under surveince discreetly, not to arrest him.

This mess was the catastrophe Brandon had inflicted on the Dawson family.
“Let’s go see Grandma with Gabriter today,” Bryan suggested, stroking Eileen’s hand. “Grandma has been asking to see Gabri. I asked Jarred to keep the incident a secret from her. Otherwise, she’d be really worried.”
Eileen hesitated to bring Gabri, who was still unsettled, to meet someonepletely new to her. She worried it might frighten Gabri.
But Bryan’s persuasive presence was too strong for her to refuse him.
“Okay,” Eileen eventually said.
“I’ll go to the office first. Once I’m done, I’lle pick you up,” Bryan said, kissing Eileen softly.
Eileen slightly closed her eyes in response to his gesture.
But Bryan quickly released her, turned, and walked out of the bedroom.
Work at the EB Group was going smoothly, with Raymond overseeing most operations.
When Bryan arrived, Raymond had just finished dealing with some delicate tasks. Upon seeing Bryan, Raymond followed him into his office.
“Mr. Dawson, I’ve already booked your flight for tonight. I’ll go with you,” Raymond said.
