?Chapter 512:
“That’s easy for you to say,” Josue said sharply, tapping the table with his fingers, creating a soft thud that resonated through the café. Some people nced their way, and Josue offered a sheepish smile before continuing, “She won’t even let me see the child. She ims she has no right, but shouldn’t she at least tell me if it’s a boy or a girl? She could show me a photo of the child. Is that too much to ask?”
The more Josue spoke, the angrier he became. “I have every right to hold this grudge.”
“You wait here for Jacob. I’m taking Gabri to the Freguson Group to bring lunch to Eileen.” Bryan grabbed the car keys and left swiftly, carrying Gabri.
Josue muttered “heartless” several times under his breath before dialing Jacob. “It’s almost noon. Finish up your shopping ande over here to have lunch with me. I’m starving.”
“What?” Jacob sounded confused for a moment before replying, “I’m at home. Didn’t I tell you I need to get back quickly to spend time with my wife after shopping? If you’re hungry, why don’t you eat something yourself? Why are you calling me…”
Meanwhile, Bryan stopped at a restaurant Eileen liked and picked up her favorite dishes. After a bit of driving, he reached the Freguson Group around one o’clock. He had informed Eileen of his arrival, and she, along with Raymond, was waiting for him outside.
Bryan parked directly in front of thepany, making a notable entrance, and then, under the watchful eyes of onlookers, lifted Gabri out of her car seat in the back. Gabri, just awakening, had slightly red eyes and furrowed brows, but upon seeing Eileen, she immediately began waving her tiny arms joyously.
Eileen quickly took Gabri into her arms, smiling at her. Bryan passed the food to Raymond, his attention still focused on Eileen and Gabri.
Raymond joked, “Mr. Dawson, if you hade anyter, Ms. Curtis would have been waiting for dinner.”
Although Eileen had already eaten, Bryan insisted on delivering lunch. Was this really about bringing lunch, or was he simply here to show off his daughter?
“Ms. Curtis, Gabri’s absolutely beautiful, just like you,” Raymond said.

Eileenughed. “Really? Once she gets a little older, we’ll see who she resembles more.” When Gabri was upset, she mimicked Bryan so closely that Eileen secretly thought Gabri would end up more like him.
“Let’s go inside.” Bryan stood against the wind, shielding Eileen and Gabri, casually smoothing Eileen’s tousled hair. He extended his arm around Eileen’s slim waist, intending to escort her into the building, but Eileen didn’t move.
“Take Gabri back. It’s work hours, and everyone is busy. It doesn’t look right bringing a child here.” Eileen nced around at the curious onlookers inside the office, leaning in to whisper to Bryan, “There’s a limit to how much you can show off your daughter.”
Bryan’s eyes widened, surprised. “Do you think I came here just to show off Gabri?”
Was that not obvious?
