Chapter 497

    ?Chapter 497:

In the upper echelons of society, envy and resentment bubbled beneath the surface. They recognized the strength of the couple’s union and understood that, from now on, they could no longer afford to offend Eileen.

Meanwhile, the middle and lower sses were amazed by the spectacle of a high-society man willingly marrying into a woman’s family.

At that moment, Ste had a sudden realization. “They didn’t remarry and get a certificate, did they?”

“Definitely not,” Jarred confirmed with certainty. “If they had, they would have realized that the document they signed wasn’t actually a divorce agreement. You should have told them earlier.”

“It’s alright. They’lle back, and I’ll exin everything then,” Ste replied with a dismissive wave of her hand. “I just hope that when Eileen learns about the document they actually signed, she’ll hold fewer grudges against me.”

Jarred paused for a few seconds before responding, “She certainly will.”

After making waves in the business world, Eileen and Bryan returned to their home.

“Are you happy?” Eileen asked, sitting on the sofa and studying Bryan, whose smile hadn’t faded since the announcement.

Bryan nodded, engaging Gabri with a soft toy. “Very much so.”

Eileen shared his happiness. From this moment onward, she and Bryan no longer had to hide their rtionship; she was now officially his wife.

“From now on, Gabri won’t just be confined to our home,” Bryan said as he picked up Gabri, his eyes glowing with love as he admired her cute features.

And then? Eileen’s smile wavered as she leaned her elbow on the armrest, looking at Bryan. Was he simply content that everyone now knew Gabri was his daughter? Just pleased that he could finally take Gabri outside?

Eileen blinked, her clear eyes studying Bryan as he acted yful in front of Gabri. He seemed much more carefree now than when he had pursued her in Wist Land.

“Eileen, should we take her out now?” Bryan asked, excitement in his voice. “Maybe we could head to the mall and buy her some new clothes?”

Eileen smiled, replying, “My mother just bought her several new outfits.”

“Then what about diapers?” Bryan asked.

“We’re stocked up on those, enough tost for months,” Eileen responded.

Bryan raised another question, “What about form milk?”

“We’ve got that covered as well,” Eileen said.

“Well… What does she need, then?” Bryan asked, genuinely puzzled.

Eileenughed lightly. “She doesn’t need anything, so we don’t really have an excuse to parade our daughter around, do we?”

“Is there anything you need?” Bryan pressed. “With the weather changing, do you need new clothes? We could take her shopping with us.”

“I’m not exactly short on clothes, but…” Eileen teased.

Bryan seized the opportunity. “Then what are you short on?”
