Nora’s POV
For two days, I slept for two whole days and under that time a lot has changed but one thing still
remains. Melinda and the king.
Ares left on a sudden mission to find the missing girls and the rogue lycans that took them. I am quite
curious if I have healed the rogue werewolves as well. Because there existed not a feral werewolf
before
the curse.
But I can’t really go out on a hunt for that right now. Before the blood moon is gone we need to break
the curse even if Ares isn’t here. Helios And I are sitting in the dining room with the kids and having
breakfast when the doors suddenly open and Linus’ fatheres rushing inside. and falls down on his
knees beside me.
“Queen Nora, I am so happy that you are awake since we have a slight problem right now.” he says
and bows his head at me
“Problem”? Is there someone hurt?” I ask worriedly and he shakes his head and Helios chuckles.
“No but I put Linus’ father on the task of keeping check on all the newly healed rogue lycans that have
been gathering outside the castle for thest two days that you have been sleeping,” Helios exins
and I look at him in shock.
“Why would they be here?” I ask dumbfounded.
“They want to swear their allegiance to you, Nora. You saved and healed them from the horrors they
have lived in for so many years. You are their savior and their queen. They will never heed the words
from
another in their entire life. If you so much as said that we should kill everyone in the entire world we
would do that without hesitation” Linus’ father says and I gasp.
This sort of loyalty is dangerous, I don’t know if I can handle it very well.
*Of course you can, Nora. Because it isn’t just the human counterpart that wants to swear to you but
it’s their lycans as well and they will listen* Lillie exins and I nod my head.
*Okay, but should we do that before or after releasing Melinda?* I ask her and she seems to ponder
over my words.
*It would benefit us if we did it before but if Melinda do break the cursepletely then perhaps they
will feel a heavy chain on their necks for being bonded to you* Aurelie says and I nod.
“We will do another ceremony today to break the final part of the curse and after that. If they still want
to then they can pledge to me if they want to” I say and Linus’ father tilts his head in confusion but
nods, epting what I said.
Melindaes into the room with tears in her eyes and she stops and looks around before her eyes
land on me and Helios and then she starts sobbing. Helios gets up and carefullyys his hand on her
shoulder in a way tofort her.
“I am so sorry. I didn’t know. I took her from you” she starts to cry while speaking between the so bs.
*Daniel, Melinda needs you we are in the dining room* I mindlink him and he answers.
*I know but she wanted to speak to Helios on her own, I am right outside* he answers and I get up.
I walk over to Melinda and I hug her hard and she looks at me while I smile at her and I feel through the
bond and I am surprised to find out that Helios already knew who she was.
*How long have you known?” I ask him through the mindlink an he looks at me and answers
*A few years* he answers back and I am quite surprised by his answer but I nod.
*I will go find my dad, can you stay with her?* He asks and I smile and nod.
When Helios opens the doors, Daniel asks if everything is alright and Helios answers that everything is
fine. Danieles in to me and Melinda.
“Melinda, Helios harbor no ill will towards you. He has known for a few years now. So I wouldn’t be
surprised if you would be angry at him. instead” I say and shrug.
Melinda looks at mepletely stunned and then she shakes her head.
“I can’t see his eyes again. I don’t know what to think anymore. Who am I?” she whispers, so confused
by all of this.
“You are Melinda, that is you. You can never be another person than you already are.” I say and she
nods her head when she suddenly ps her cheeks.
“Nora, the gifts that havee to you, can we open them?” Melinda suddenly asks and I tilt my head.

Helios POV
Finally dad has told Melinda that she is his daughter and our half
sister. I have known for a few years. But I haven’t said anything as it hasn’t been my ce to say but I
have to admit it was actually Ares that found out first.
He hated Melinda for a while until he hated dad and he became silent towards him. That was the time I
suggested that Ares could choose his own warrior to start training and dad agreed. I actually believe
that dad knows that we either know or that we suspected it. But he never said anything and neither did
we.
I walk into his office where he and uncle Dave are standing in a tense and weird stand off. Uncle Dave
is furious by the look of him and his aura and dad is too tired to defend himself. It’s like he has given
up.
“So I take it that uncle Dave wasn’t as happy then?” I say and close the door and lock it.
Dad nces my way but doesn’t say anything and uncle Dave growls.
“I cant believe that you hid this from me, all these years. You could have told me before the curse or
even after I came back but no you held it in.” uncle Dave growls angrily.
“Yes, I know but I just couldn’t betray her like that” dad says and doesn’t even defend himself when
uncle Dave punches him in his face.
“And what about you then?” Uncle Dave spits at me.
“Oh, both I and Ares have known for a while now. Sure it’s a bit strange and so but we got over it. I
think we liked to see dad being wounded over the fact that he couldn’t have his daughter as we couldn’t
have our mom or other sister” I say and shrug and uncle Dave flinches.
“Nora was wondering if you could do the ceremonyter in the
evening since it is thest day for the blood moon” I say and help dad
up
from the floor and he nods his head.
“Yes, of course but..” dad says and nces over at uncle Dave who seems to be talking to his lycan.
“Crown princess”
