Ares’ POV
The silver stone pack was once one of thergest and most powerful packs in our kingdom but they
made their alliances wrong. Their greed was too big as they tried to take down our kingdom. Helios
And I were just children back then and our mother was still alive, before the curse was there. When
everything was peaceful.
The silver stone pack wasn’t satisfied with being thergest pack so they went to kill our dad and take
our mother so they could rule over us. But a mere werewolf pack is nothing for a kingdom of lycans.
They attacked us with not only their pack but with six other packs as well and there was this small
battle as dad would say it. It probably was a war for the werewolves but to say that the strength of a
werewolf against a lycan is to say a small chihuahua against a wolf. Dad and his warriors killed
everyone in the battle.
Mother spared the alpha’s children in return that they would swear an alliance to us and to never attack
a lycan ever again. Of course that was also for the other packs that joined hands with the silver stone
pack.
But to think that the mighty pack has been reduced to being this small after all of that. I shake my head
as I look around and chuckle quietly.
“Prince, you and your men can rest here. I am sorry that we don’t have another ce for you to rest but
we don’t have a packhouse to speak of anymore” Mark says and I hear Ben gasp
I look to where Ben is looking and I see where the former packhouse was standing. It’s burnt down to
ashes. And if you look closely you can even tell that they have burnt their own pack members inside
the pack
house.
“The rogues burned the pack house down with the alpha and his family still alive in there” Mark says
and I growl.
We need to find them quickly. We all take a rest inside arge tent and the pack memberse in with
food. A teenage girl trembles as she is trying to walk close to me and I can see another older woman
standing outside, waving her hands for the girl to walk closer to me.
*They are still sacrificing young girls to the mighty lycans, huh? Disgusting* Ben mindlinks me and I
come up with an idea.
I grab the young girl and pull her over into myp and pray that Nora won’t misunderstand this. I took
the tray as it threatened to fall onto the ground. The young girl whimpered while the older woman
walked in slowly towards us.

“If she pleases you, your majesty. You are wee to take her as your chosen one” the older woman
said and the thought sickened me.
“Mark” I yell for him and hees right away and when he sees the girl in myp he raises his
eyebrows in surprise.
“I didn’t know that you guys still sold your young ones. Perhaps I will take up the offer and rape her until
there is nothing left of her and then I throw her for the rogues to finish off?” I say with a cold voice and I
put pressure on my aura.
Mark and the older woman fall down to their knees and the young girl in my arms whimpers and starts
to cry. I dip my nose into her neck and smile at Mark before showing off my fangs.
“Stop!” No matter what has happened here, I won’t allow you to do it. You already have a mate and I
will not allow you to take one of my pack members by force” Mark grits out loudly from the pressure of
my
aura.
Silent falls over the ce and I drop my aura slightly as I pull the girl to stand up. Her tears have wet
her pretty face and her eyes are red.
“I am sorry for scaring you, little one. Who is that woman to you?” I whisper to her and she flinches but
answers,
“She is Luna’s sister. She has been selling off other girls in our pack to rogues so they would stop
attacking us” she answers trembling.
Before I can even growl Andrei is holding the woman by her hair and is growling ferociously.
“You did what?” Mark yells suddenly and I drop my aurapletely and he gets up and actually ps
her across her face before Andrei can stop him.
“How many

you sold and to whom?” I growl as I stand up.
“What does it matter to you?” she spits and thenughs like crazy.
“Do you have any cells or something where she can be put in?” I ask and Mark nods
“Yes, we have the silver cells in the forest” he answers and the woman starts screaming and thrashing.
“Good, Andrei take that with you and lock her up and then we shall continue to go up the mountain” I
say and Andrei growls but he doesn’t move and I get confused until Ben nudges me.
I look down at my hand where I still hold the werewolf girl in her hand, I release her and smile at her.
“What is your name, little one?” I ask and nce at Andrei ti watch

“Amy” she answers and looks down on the ground.
“Amy, what a cute name, how old are you?” I continue to ask and she peeks up and then looks over at
Mark and he nods.
“I am 15 but my birthday is the day after tomorrow so I will turn 16 then” she says and smiles.
“You will gain your wolf then” I say and smile but her smile falters and
she shakes her head.
“No” she starts to say when the older womanughs like crazy and I look at her again.
“No because she is a wolfless girl, a freak” she says between theughs and I raise an eyebrow at her.
“Amy, were both of your parents werewolves?” I ask her and she starts to shake her head.
“No, my dad is a lycan and my mom’s dad was also a lycan. Will I die then?” She says trembling and I
look at Andrei and I can see his devastation in his eyes.
Amy is Andrei’s mate and she can die in just two days if he isn’t by her side then. I just hope that the
curse is broken so the girls can get their lycan counterpart. Otherwise.
Andrei growls before walking away and I let Amy go home while I keep thinking about the next problem
that just rose from thin air when I suddenly
ly get a mindlink from my brother.
