Chapter 844: 264. Mira’s Dilemma_5
With Mira Faar’s own flesh and mana fluctuations as a cover, this “Tracking Mark” is unlikely to be discovered.
Nnd Lee sensed the mark across the distance.
The position of Mira Faar started to move.
She was heading in a direction away from the Guest Room but had not left the Magic Mechanical Ship.
Now, look at the seabed.
A thousand Dreadscale Vanguard and three Queen’s Devotees were casting together, summoning a rapidly growing dark green whirlpool above the Femme Demon Territory.
The whirlpool expanded every second, pulling in more and more seawater, its dark green radiance growing increasingly intense.
At this point, even a pig swimming underwater could detect the abnormalities from the ocean floor.
Several wizards who were installing magicals underwater noticed the elerating green swirl.
Just as they were about to sound the rm, they were bitten on the neck by sea serpents shooting out from dark corners.
These sea serpents were invisible, remaining in invisibility status until they attacked.
At the moment they bit their prey, their ferocious snake eyes undeniably revealed themselves—cold, bloodthirsty, with teeth sharp as hooks, exceedingly sharp and flickering with a sinister dark green light.
Just a simple bite, several wizards of lesser strength were pierced through by the hook-like snake fangs.
Venom from the fangs injected into their bodies.
The wizards attacked turned to stone instantly.
They couldn’t even let out a scream before turning into terrified stone statues and slowly sinking to the seabed.
“There are snakes! Be careful!”
“What kind of snakes are these?! How did we not detect them?!”
“Run for your life! There are too many snakes! If we make it to the boat, we’ll be saved!”
Arge swarm of blue sea serpents emerged from their invisibility status, appearing out of nowhere and biting the wizards as they chased their prey.
Ankles, arms, thighs, necks—each wizard had several sea serpents clinging to them.
The gray venom ejected from the sharp teeth of the sea serpents, squirting out at the wizards.
This form of attack was not as effective as injecting venom subcutaneously, the wizards’ shields blocked the gray venom but fizzled upon contact.
Some wizards who were lucky enough to escape the initial sea serpent ambush were prated by the venom as it broke through their shields in the face of the oing deluge.
“Ahhh!!”
“Get these snakes off!!”
“Help! Help!!”
The venom was highly corrosive, causing skin to rot almost instantly and petrifying the poisoned wizards into statues the next second.
A portion of the wizards were quite experienced inbat.
They tore open Magic Scrolls or activated Magic Rings, casting Deep Sea Spells to repel the sea serpents.
Turbulent water streams pushed the sea serpents away from the wizards, and the spinning water tornado shields around the wizards crushed the sea serpents clinging to them.
A few wizards clearly excelled in controlling Deep Sea Spells.
They precisely managed the speed and direction of the water tornado shields, tearing open gaps in the circle of sea serpents, and with jets of water from their feet, propelled themselves rapidly towards the sea surface.
“Escape, escape! If we get to the surface, these sea serpents can’t do anything!”
The wizards shouted as they rushed towards the surface.
But just as they were about to break out of the water, the seawater before them was manipted by an unknown magic, solidifying into a fishing with spines and sharp hooks made entirely of water.
This spell, constructed purely of water, was far tougher and deadlier than it seemed, heavy.
It suddenly enveloped the wizards rushing towards the surface and dragged them down.
“Quick, use the ‘Liquid Transformation Magic Scroll’! Don’t save it now!”
The wizards reacted swiftly.
No sooner were they covered by the spell than they used their escape trick.
The Scroll was torn open, casting a water-blue radiance on the wizards’ bodies.
From human form, the wizards turned into a transparent liquid state, trying to squeeze through theting of the spell.
“It doesn’t work! These holes are fake! I can’t get through them at all!”
“Help! Help! Are you blind or deaf on the boat up there? We’re making such amotion, and you don’t respond at all?!”
The wizards struggled and roared within the spell.
A vast number of sea serpents encircled them.
The sea serpents ignored the barrier of the spell, passing straight through it and bared their fangs at the bound wizards.
“Ah!!”
“Ah~~”
“Ah!!”
Screams echoed underwater, incredibly harrowing.
All the wizards who had dodged the earlier assaults ended up as prey in the mouths of the sea serpents within the spell.
Their cries barely traveled a few meters before being leveled by the seawater, unable to raise even the slightest ripple on the surface.
What’s more, from above the water, beneath it looked as dark as ever.
Apart from not seeing any wizards returning to the boat from below, there was nothing out of the ordinary.
“Chirp! Chirp chirp! Chirp! (The ocean! It is our domain! Kill them all!)”
A Sea Monster over 10 meters long appeared on the edge of the battlefield, manding the sea serpents to tear the wizards apart.
This Sea Monster had feminine features.
She was wrapped in exquisite scale armor, with the tail end of the spell in her Left Hand and an old Trident covered in moss in her right hand.
The Horns on her head rose high, curving slightly like crescent moons.
Although she shared the gender of human females, shecked the gentleness and allure of a human woman.
Her fangs dripped with flesh, her scales smeared with blood, her horns pierced with metal rings.
Ferocious, brutal, bloodthirsty, her eyes gleamed fiercely, devoid of any mercy.
