Chapter 843: 264. Mira’s Dilemma_4
Nnd Lee nced at Bower’s retreating figure.
The man seemed to have sensed the surge of energy from the seabed and was now burying his head as he hastened towards the sea surface.
Nnd Lee opened the remaining memory fragments from Bower and found the answer.
The sea monster soldiers in joint casting wereposed of one thousand Dreadscale Vanguards, and theirmander was a Dreadscale Centurion.
Above the Centurion was not a Decurion but a Lower Fear-Scale Commander, whomanded the regr troops, including the Dreadscale Vanguards and Queen’s Devotees.
Thismander was also of Sea Monster Nobility, likely squatting inside thergest pirate ship.
The spell jointly cast by those one thousand Dreadscale Vanguards was called “Deep Sea Banishment Spell.”
It could drag ships, wizards, and magical devices on the sea surface into the Queen’s Domain by force.
Indeed, not even the Eighth-Ring Spirit Wizard protecting Yorksim could escape; they would all be forcibly dragged into the Queen’s Domain.
The energy fluctuations of the “Deep Sea Banishment Spell” would dramatically increase with the continuation of the spell.
Even with the Queen’s Domain suppressing these energy fluctuations, it would still rm the wizards on the sea surface.
Because of this, Bower had to ignite the Sea Monster Poison Bombs as soon as possible to divert the wizards’ attention.
Nnd Lee sent out several “Mind View” and Deconstruction spells to check the situation of all parties.
The Treasure Hunting Fleet crowded the sea surface.
Therge Magic Mechanical Ships were currently in a festive mood.
The wizards responsible for installing the Underwater Barrier Net busied themselves without lifting their heads…
It would take these people a little while before they even faintly detected the energy wavesing from beneath the water.
Into Nnd Lee’s Magic Vision came the dazzling figure in a red dress—none other than Mira Faar, who had just left the Guest Room and stepped into the corridor on the very edge of the Upper Deck.
“What a coincidence, if you hadn’te out of the Guest Room, I might not have been able to avoid the Demon Spirit Wizard and find you,” Nnd Lee thought with a light chuckle, as he sent a “Tracking Mark” towards the somewhat gloomy Mira Faar.
His action immediately alerted the Seven-ring Battle Witch.
“Who’s there?”
In the sphere of Magic Vision, Mira Faar stopped in her tracks as a translucent red Magic Shield shed into existence around her.
She had detected the stealthy probe and had already entered a state of heightened vignce.
Activating “Mind Induction,” Nnd Lee used the “Tracking Mark” on her to issue a warning on a mental level:
“Avoid Bower; he has Sea Monster Poison Bombs on him. Below you, at the seabed, thousands of sea monster soldiers are jointly casting a powerful spell. Be cautious.”
“Who are you?”
Mira Faar suddenly heard the Voice of the Mind, her body trembling slightly like a startled cat.
She gripped the Mental Protection Pendant nestled between her peaks, a sh of astonishment crossing her eyes:
“Are you a Saint Level Mind Wizard? No… wait, your voice sounds familiar.”
The memory of a wizard was indeed impressive.
Nnd Lee had once apanied Selena to inspect an Alien Device, where he had met Mira Faar and chatted beside her for a little while.
It was probably then that she had unintentionallymitted Nnd Lee’s voice to memory.
“We have indeed met before. We’ll have a detailed discussion when you return to the Suman Archipgo,” Nnd Lee paused before adding,
“For now, it would be best for you to find an excuse to leave Subsea Region No.13. If you can’t think of a good reason, I can have Selena send you an urgent missive inviting you for a private talk.”
When Nnd Lee mentioned having Selena do him a favor, his tone was casual.
Associating Selena’s identity and status, Mira Faar became somewhat dreamy, struggling to discern the reliability of Nnd Lee’s words.
Nnd Lee had no desire to provide further exnation.
He left her with two sentences and then cut off “Mind Induction.”
“In ten seconds, Bower wille aboard from 200 meters ahead to your side. Don’t let him see you, and don’t reveal my existence to anyone.”
The Voice of the Mind faded from Mira Faar’s ears, and she quickly regained herposure, her brows furrowed as she looked towards the side.
Her jade feet, enclosed by buckle-strapped heels, stamped on the deck, and she concealed herself behind the corner of the Walkway with a graceful and nimble posture.
A flicker of weak me passed by, and her body transformed into a wisp of me, merging with the magical candlestick’s candlelight on the wall.
“Ssh…” The faint sound of water came from the sea outside the boat’s hull.
Bower climbed aboard the Walkway on the edge of the Upper Deck.
He wiped the water from himself and the ground and stealthily approached the Guest Room where Yorksim was.
With a sleazy chuckle, Bower murmured, “Heh heh heh… I need to control the bomb’s ignition point well, lest I blow up that sultry witch…”
Passing by the wall’s magical candlesticks, Bower was utterly unaware that the sultry witch he spoke of had transformed into the very mes of a candle, hidden right beside him.
The candle’s me swayed back and forth as if blown by the wind or as if expressing rage.
Regardless, with Nnd Lee’s warning, Mira Faar perfectly avoided Bower through some me spell.
…
…
…
“Interesting spell, to turn oneself into me and then hide in another me…”
Nnd Lee witnessed the entire process of Mira Faar evading Bower.
To prevent his scrutiny of therge Magic Mechanical Ship from being discovered by the ship’s Demon Spirit Wizard, Nnd Lee promptly severed “Mind View.”
The “Tracking Mark” left on Mira Faar became his only means of tracking her movements.
