    I keep running.


    My limbs felt heavy, my legs were sore but I have to keep running.

    Before ever losing my sanity, I had a glimpse... I had a glimpse of the terrifying beast who took my

    Today is the parents¡¯ orientation for the fieldtripter afternoon. I wasn¡¯t able to sleep properlyst night


    because the nightmare keepsing back. I ended awake the whole evening and right now I am


    feeling exhausted.


    ¡°Miho can you get me some soda please?¡± I asked my best friend whose sitting beside me.


    I leaned on the cafeteria¡¯s table and buried my face on my folded arms. I wanted to nap even for 30


    minutes.


    ¡°Alright.¡± I heard her.


    After few second, my eyes were blinking slowly, making me fall into another sleep.

    I held on the tree, I looked anxiously from my surrounding and grabbed a little branch from the ground.


    I heard that familiar growl again, so I stopped breathing and cried silently.

    I am not liking it at all. I do not like this very much. I am feeling restless.


    My eyes watered and Miho grabbed me for a hug.

    I shook my head because I have no idea. It just keeps oning back. The dream, how is that even


    possible?


    ¡°I just had the same nightmare. I find it weird.¡± I said and wiped my tears.

    I gulped and looked at her. ¡°I can¡¯t remember, but all I know that its extremely realistic and terrifying.¡±

    I just nodded because she has a point.


    After talking with Miho, I found myself sitting on the school bench and checking my phone. Vigor didn¡¯t


    text or call me back and I am so worried.


    I almost gave up when my phone suddenly beeped. I checked it immediately and I smiled eventually


    after seeing his name written on my phone screen.


    ¡°L-love!¡± I can¡¯t even hide the excitement on my face and voice as I answered the call.

    It¡¯s already 11:30, and perhaps he will be here in 20 minutes.


    I didn¡¯t go to parking lot because Mom and I went here together, and I told her that I would be riding


    with Mihoter. But now that Vigor is here, then it is fine.


    After he dropped the call, I texted Miho that I¡¯ll be going.


    I was walking to the main gate when I bumped on someone. It¡¯s painful to the fact that I dropped my


    ass on the ground.

    I smiled a little in courtesy and turn my back on him. It was the first time that I saw him. But of course,


    its natural since the university is huge, and the chances of meeting everyone is rare, plus the fact that I


    am not always present here in the main gate.


    I didn¡¯t waited for Vigor long enough when he arrived, when I went inside his car he frowned and


    looked at me attentively.

    He removed his seatbelt and leaned closer, it¡¯s a little bit weird when he sniffed my neck, my hair and


    my uniform.

    From the distance between us, I can see clearly how good looking my boyfriend is. His slightly


    disheveled hair, his eyes, his lips and nose. They are perfect.


    ¡°We just bumped. He¡¯s a stranger.¡± I whispered.


    He didn¡¯t even move a bit, but after some few seconds he was leaning and giving me a deep kiss.

    I couldn¡¯t even mind from those things he¡¯s whispering because I was too preupied with his kisses.

    buttons of my uniform. His hands slightly touched my belly, and I can feel the electrifying art running


    through my veins at the very moment.

    We are inside the car for pete¡¯s sake.

    EARLIER¡­


    After he made up his mind, he run over Saint Lawrence to talk to Leo about many possibilities. The


    Vista n served his family over centuries and because of war between other creatures years ago, the


    generation of the likes of them is getting close to extinction.


    Werewolves, Vampires, Elves and Sylrians were 4 creatures who have been conquering territories of


    the world under the knowledge of every human species. Werewolves and Elves were never in good


    terms ever since a thousand years ago and the vampires are far north and never had any encounters


    with the werewolves. And for the Sylrians, they were said to be the direct descendants of the gods but


    non have ever met them.


    Because of the war that happened centuries ago by their elders, the number of them are countable-


    and worse, he¡¯s the only living pure blooded werewolf alive.


    The order of multiplying among them isn¡¯t about their blood being contagious because Vigor¡¯s parents


    have already tried that. The reason why the Vista n have the seed and its only found out in todays


    generation that there should be a blood of an offspring of a half-blooded werewolf involved.


    ¡°I bet no one will ever agree of having sex with a werewolf.¡± Leo said the moment Vigor arrived in his


    clinic.


    He looked at him darkly and the wind outside blew wildly.


    ¡°You don¡¯t want to hurt Pyress then find someone else.¡± Leo added.


    Because of that, Vigor couldn¡¯t help himself to kick the table in front of him and it was blown so hard on


    the other room, creating some serious damage inside the clinic.

    ¡°It will be tomorrow night.¡± He said the phrase and Vigor knows that the man in front of him already

    There¡¯s silence in between them now, Leo is aware how crucial the night will be. They couldn¡¯t even tell


    Pyress what will about to happen because that would probably scare her away.

    Vigor closed his eyes tightly and sighed.

    The Canadian National Weather Service have warned through media that in 2 days the winter freezing


    cold will start.


    The teachers didn¡¯t cancel the fieldtrip because the weather now is best for the activities that they have


    prepared, and some University guards were with us for extra protection especially that we will have a


    camp.


    I am sitting in the corner of the bus and Miho is beside me eating Cheetos. Her loud chips became the


    background of the deafening silence inside the bus. My ssmates on the other hand were busy


    preparing their notes about the surroundings because it is part of the reflection paper that we must


    passter.


    Annoyed, I kicked her toes and red at her. She pouted and didn¡¯t even bothered by my warning.


    I just shrugged and focus looking outside the window. The color of the surrounding is sad. It¡¯s greyish,


    plus the fact that the pine trees are adding a peculiar feeling in it.


    Upon looking at it, I remembered the dreams that I hadst night and this morning. The small hairs on


    my arms and legs stood up the moment I realize that the scene is familiar.


    I snapped out of it and just closed my eyes instead. I wanted peace of mind and I want to forget the


    extreme needs of pleasure that is calling for satisfaction.

    I am not familiar with what he did to me earlier, all I know is that there is something inside me that


    wanted to have a release, but it was prevented.

    There were 5 beds, and I guess they have really prepared this for the camp.

    I focused my attention on the bonfire in front of me and sighed. Sometimes people just really don¡¯t


    know what to do in their lives huh. And I am currently feeling that now.

    I couldn¡¯t help to stand in nervousness when I heard a loud scary howl.


    ¡°What was that?¡± I asked to nowhere and gulped.


    I looked at the area where Miho run back to the Cabin. Should I go back too?

    When I heard it again, I finally decided.


    ¡°Okay, let¡¯s get out of here.¡± I said to myself and gathered all the things that we brought.


    I was about to turn away when the wind blew hard on my direction, killing the bonfire and making my


    bo fly.


    I cursed inside my head when I heard the footsteps closer and the sound of the dead leaves cracking


    from the heavy steps.


    My body froze when I realized that my dream is happening.


    I pulled myself up and run.


    I don¡¯t know which way I was running because it became so dark, and the footsteps were now loud and


    close.


    ¡°HEEEELLLPPP!¡± I shouted from the top of my lungs.


    I am running faster than normal, but my body is shaking and cold. I can also feel that I am very pale


    now.


    I had goosebumps when I felt it from behind me. I closed my eyes tightly while running, I don¡¯t want to


    see and look.. I don¡¯t want to check and look.


    But I know it is my end when I tripped on a rock and I fell hard on the ground.

    I don¡¯t know how I managed to think a lot in such a short time. My mind is working so fast as memories


    keeps on shbacking on me. Is this the sign that my life will end like this?


    My knees were painful because I tripped on a rock, even though I am feeling extremely cold, I tried to


    stand up and run. I never look back, I never checked on the thing who is chasing me right now. I refuse


    to die in this moment.


    I run again; I don¡¯t know which way, but I continue running. I don¡¯t want to face it. I¡¯m scared.


    The growls that I can hear from behind me is making me imagine that it¡¯s a savage animal. My heart


    seems like it wanted to get out because of its loud beating. My breathing hitched when I sighted a tight


    shrub, I run there and hide myself- gambling every chance of survival.


    My skin hurts a little because of the force that I did to make me fit in the shrubs. I endured it and stayed


    silent.


    My tears are falling on my cheeks now. I am breathing hoarsely when I sighted an animal. It¡¯s not a


    normal animal, it¡¯s a beast!


    I can¡¯t see the color properly because it¡¯s dark. But the sparkle of its eyes reflects the full moon. It¡¯s


    huge, I don¡¯t know if I could survive if it caught me.


    It continue running forward, leaving the area where I am hiding. I don¡¯t want to move but this is my


    chance. If that beast finds out that I am here, it will kill me right away.


    I slowly removed myself from the shrubs and run again. I made a run as silent as possible to prevent if


    from noticing me. Since I fell earlier and it injured my ankle, I couldn¡¯t run properly. I wanted to scream


    in pain from every step that I make, but I can¡¯t even make a noise.


    When I officially run a distance, I stopped on a group of trees and held to it.


    ¡°Ugh..¡± I groaned while massaging my ankles that I think got fractured.


    Some part of me was praying that Miho woulde and save me. but I don¡¯t want her toe here


    either because I don¡¯t want her to be in the same situation with mine.


    My hands were trembling as I breath slowly, it¡¯s freaking cold and dark. I don¡¯t know what that thing is


    but I am sure it will eat me or kill me.


    Tears stream down my face as I try my best to be positive. Rx, Pyress, rx.


    I closed my eyes and uttered a prayer, that¡¯s the best thing that I can do in this situation. I am in the


    middle of praying when I heard the stepsing closer and the crunch of the dead leaves.


    I held my breath and stood up. I held on a tree and look at every direction. I pulled my sweater down


    and covered my shaking hands. My knees were jelly, but I managed.


    It¡¯s silent, but faintly, I can hear iting but I don¡¯t know in which direction.


    I am busy looking at everywhere but when it suddenlynded in front of me, I froze in fear.


    ¡°AAAAHHHHH!!!!!¡± My loud screams probably reached the camp. But I can hear fear with my own


    voice.


    I don¡¯t even know what to do, I don¡¯t even know what to do upon seeing a huge animal in front of me.


    It¡¯s so huge, bigger than me and my height. It¡¯s a werewolf!


    I stepped back only to get pinned on the tree. I gulped as my tears continueing out of my limbs.


    Help me, please, somebody.


    Then slowly, I witnessed how the animal changed its size and shape. I am not sure, but the animal is of


    combination of brown and white, it¡¯s not entirely scary but the fact that it¡¯s an animal makes me want to


    pass out.


    My eyes widened when it turned into a standing man. His features were covered with white furs and his


    face didn¡¯t change to his animal form. And now it looks like a beast. Even though it changed shape, it¡¯s


    still bigger than me and I can see its sharp ws shining from the lights of the moon.

    ¡°P-please please, d-don¡¯t kill me.¡± I tried to talk in my stuttering voice.


    It growls that it made me flinch in fear. I held tightly on the tree and nned to run. I am pretty sure that


    if I run right now, it will catch me and probably my death will be savage. But if I don¡¯t, it will be the


    same, right?


    At least if I run now, I will die fighting to live.


    Without further thinking, I turned my back to the beast and tried to run again. And as I predicted it


    caught me and I screamed when it raised me to the air holding the back of my sweater. I thought it will


    hit me on the ground, but it didn¡¯t, it made mey from the back, my front is pressed on the ground. It


    wasn¡¯t gentle but it wasn¡¯t that painful too.


    Even though I couldn¡¯t see anything, I can feel it kneeled from behind me. It took my hands on my back


    so I couldn¡¯t move. I don¡¯t understand, what is this thing doing?!


    I continue to move my body, trying to escape but it¡¯s so strong. ¡°Let me go!¡±

    The room filled with chuckle; the baby was continuously having mood swings which is pretty adorable.

    Every step and her every tear that fell from the ground gives birth to a rare flower.


    She continue to step away..away from everything.
