《The Alpha鈥檚 Surrogate Mate》 Chapter 1: The Alpha鈥檚 lost mate Xavier is the son of the great silver moon park. They¡¯ve grown so strong within the years. Other packs of the lycans feared them greatly. Xavier was the Alpha. Fearless and brutal. Xavier led the pack his way. They had clubs that were run by groups of Alpha¡¯s, each from their territory. From Xavier territory, there were no other Alpha. They either serve him or leave him. Xavier became a top-notch quickly. Descending so high within a matter of time. Those years, some weak lycans had to struggle under Xavier. Those who couldn¡¯t, went far deep in the forest. The Brooks were part of the family that ran away years back because they refused to submit to Xavier. Xavier let them be but he knew they would start a riot soon. Xavier let them be for he had other things to attend to. But not anymore, he eventually decided to chase them out and kill every werewolf that bears the Brooks as theirst name. ¡°Here!¡± Wesley said and pushed Brook forward. Xavier had found their hideout. He had killed all his family members. All that was left were Brook himself, his wife, and his daughter. He didn¡¯t know Brooks had expanded so much that he made himself the Alpha. Xavier walked closer, there were deep lines of injustice on his face or so they thought. He wasn¡¯t a straightforward person but he wasn¡¯t the type that would kill nonchntly. Something had to be amiss. His wife and daughter were also brought and forced to kneel before Xavier. Xavier felt the hotness rise in him again, his muscles contracting as he looked down at Brook, ¡°Tell me where she is and I will spare your life,¡± his voice was scary and rming. Brook looked up at him, ¡°I know not where your mate is. I¡¯ve not seen her and I¡¯m telling the truth.¡± Xavier growled at him angrily. He doesn¡¯t want to keep hearing the lies. He wouldn¡¯t take it lightly if Brook wouldn¡¯t provide him with his mate. Bonnie looked up at the two men from where she was forced to stay. She had never seen Xavier before because her family ran away years before she was born. She couldn¡¯t quite ce what they were talking about. What does he mean by his mate? ¡°Fine then!¡± Xavier¡¯s voice rang dangerously and Bonnie shook with tremors as she feared what would happen next. But instead of killing him, he merely turned over, ¡°Kill his daughter.¡± Bonnie¡¯s eyes narrowed and her heart quickened at the word. She at first doubted what he had said. Perhaps her ears were ying tricks on her. But the moment the men walked towards her, Bonnie couldn¡¯t bear the hard lump that had suddenly formed in her throat. She closed her eyes against the tears that stung her cheek. She doesn¡¯t know why her father had refused to ept Xavier¡¯s regency. If he had, he wouldn¡¯t be framed and she wouldn¡¯t have to die like this. Brook wasn¡¯t really the Alpha, he just headed the werewolves near his territory because of his intelligence. Xavier as she heard was everything. Powerful and deadly. And Bonnie was just an Omega. She was soft and powerless. There was no way she could stand Xavier if she wanted to. And there was no point running, Xavier would get her wherever she went. But then, she wondered what he was talking about. One of the lycans moves near, morphing quickly into the beast-like form. His ws wereing close to her. Bonnie sighed and arched her neck up, awaiting death. The tears wouldn¡¯t stop flowing and they stunk her everywhere. For a moment, she seemed to have zoomed out of the world. She felt no pain as she expected and she wondered if she was already dead. Opening her eyes slightly, she looked up at a man staring down at her with eyes gone shocked and dark. Bonnie wondered what he was looking at. The shock seems to have made him morph back into the human form. She looked around her to find out what was going on. Her mother, Anniey beside her crying already. After that, nothing else was amiss. ¡°Kill her!¡± Xavier¡¯s voice was hard and deep with a series of emotions. Annie ran to Bonnie, she knelt before her, ¡°Please, kill me and leave my daughter out of it,¡± she pleaded softly. This content ? N?v/elDr(a)m/a.Org. Brook¡¯s muscles contracted a bit but he couldn¡¯t cry. Maybe it was because he held a high position. As the elder, you are not meant to go soft as the rest. Crying and shaking are attributes of being weak. ¡°Please, I don¡¯t know where your mate is. I heard she was passing through this area and only came to get her to safety because I was scared of this happening to her,¡± Brook said suddenly. Xavier turned towards Brook again and made a rasping sound in his throat, ¡°Are you seriously telling me to believe that?¡± Brook looked up at him now, ¡± I¡¯m not telling you to believe me. I¡¯m telling you to make a proper search before concluding so easily.¡± Xavier felt a rush surge of anger, he hated it when people try to correct him. He was the great Alpha after all. He rushed to Brook and reached out for his neck, taking him so high that Brook had to struggle for air. Xavier was being nice, so nice. He could have killed him right there. He didn¡¯t have to ask him damn questions. He would never forgive anyone that tries to harm his mate, he would never do. Bonnie rushed forward quickly, desperately. She would rather die than watch her father do so. Bonnie caught Xavier¡¯s arm, something she shouldn¡¯t have done. She stared up at him, ¡°Please, don¡¯t kill my father. Kill me instead.¡± The words angered Xavier the more and blood shot out. He caught Bonnie by the neck and lifted her off the ground too, while still holding Brook in the other hand. ¡°Xavier!¡± Wesley called urgently and that was when Xavier was able to look at Bonnie. His eyes went darker with shock. The anger he felt earlier was beginning to ebb away. Chapter 2: The Plot Xavier stared at Bonnie for a while before he finally lets go of both of them. Bonnie and Brook coughed to gained back theirposure but Xavier was still looking at Bonnie, at the contour of her face. The way she looked whenever she saw something that frightened the hell out of her. ¡°Gwen?¡± Xavier couldn¡¯t help the word. For a moment, Bonnie¡¯s face went darker as she watched Xavier. Then, she glimpsed back to see if he was referring to someone behind her. Xavier formed a fist beside him, he was barely in control of the situation. If it wasn¡¯t for Wesley, he might just have killed them the other time. He looked away. He was missing his mate so much, was why he was suddenly seeing her. He doesn¡¯t even know why it all had to happen two weeks after their wedding day. Wesley rushed to him, ¡°Xavier, look at her!¡± His words forced Xavier to look at Bonnie again. And that was when it eventually clicked in. Impossible! How could she look so much like Gwen? Xavier looked back at Wesley, and they made some eyes contact before he walked away. He stoped for a moment, ¡°Take them away!¡± And he walked away. Xavier walked into his mansion several hourster with Brooks. He came sote in the night to prevent announcement. He doesn¡¯t want anyone to see Bonnie until he had ess to the situation well. Wesley walked in minutester, he was a beta and a closer lycan, ¡°Xavier, that was no Gwen. She¡¯s Bonnie, Brook¡¯s daughter. I gathered more information from Gwen¡¯s mother and she confirmed it!¡± Xavier¡¯s head spinned. He sat, ¡± How could they look so much alike?¡± It was impossible! He had never seen something like that since all his born days. How could there be a werewolf somewhere that resembled his mate? ¡°Gwen¡¯s parents will be arriving tomorrow.¡± Xavier¡¯s eyes twitched slightly. Aside from the fact that the disappearance of Gwen would cause worries for her family. Yet, there was the fact that war could break out. This material belongs to N?velDrama.Org. Gwen was a rtive of Alpha Rowan from the West. Xavier had not been on good terms with Rowan. Maybe because they were both Alpha and well, Xavier seemed to be the strongest. They fought so well those days even after he knew Gwen was his mate. He thought he would use Gwen to get him. Xavier had to fight wars before he could let him have his mate. Since all the Alphas decided to ally, the fight ceased only to be reced with a deep resentment, hidden away from others and only known to both enemies. Also, Gwen got kidnapped in his territory. There would be no exnation that would make sense to Rowan. And it was not like Xavier wouldn¡¯t be able to win the war but he wouldn¡¯t be able to fight it off well. Damn! He loved Gwen so much. ¡°Xavier, you have to make a choice quickly!¡± Wesley said quickly, bringing Xavier out of his thoughts. Xavier sighed and looked at Wesley, ¡®What do you suppose we do?¡± ¡°Bonnie can prevent the war. We can use her for the moment pending the time we find Gwen.¡± Xavier¡¯s eyes went wider as the words settled in his brain. Bonnie looks so much like Gwen. They could make her talk and walk like Gwen. She would be the Gwen to her mother and most especially, Alpha Rowan. It would give them the time they needed to find out where the real Gwen was. ¡°Bring her to me!¡± Xaviermanded and Wesley went to fetch her. Xavier had decided he would do whatever it takes to stop the war. With much beating and torture, Brook will spill the bean about where Gwen was. Minutester, Bonnie was pushed in by Wesley. Only he was allowed to enter. Bonnie had a hood over her head so no one would see her face. Wesley removed the hood and Bonnie looks up at Xavier. Her face was red and swollen and there were dried tears on her face. She had been crying, Xavier noted. He stood up and walked to her. He stopped before her and measured her height. Same height! He moved behind her and touched her butt with both hands. Bonnie recoiled in fear, ¡°What the fuck are you doing?¡± Same temper as her, interesting! He noted darkly. Xavierughed, ¡± Your life and that of your parents depends on this. If you don¡¯t want to die, stay still.¡± Bonnie swallowed harder and force herself to stay still. Xavier grabbed her butt again and measured it. Wait no! Bonnie had a bigger butt. He looked at Wesley, ¡°Hers bigger.¡± Wesley shrugged slightly, ¡°No one will notice. Gwen has been here for two weeks, she could have added a bit of fat.¡± Xavier nodded thoughtfully. He walked before Bonnie and looked over at her chest. Bonnie followed his path of gaze towards her breast. She feared he would grab that too. But Xavier turned and walked back to his seat, ¡°I have a deal to make with you. My mate is missing and annoyingly, you look like her. I n to make you my mate for a while till I find the real mate.¡± ¡°Gwen¡¯s mom will arrive tomorrow morning. You are to pretend you are Gwen. Well, you will get all the help you want. You are not to fumble as you will be given quick lectures on who Gwen is and how she behaves. If you make a blunder, you will die! You and your family!¡± His eyes were darker and emotionless. He was like a lion, an angry one. Bonnie couldn¡¯t talk, she just continued to stare at him. She didn¡¯t even know what to think at the moment. ¡°One more thing, whosoever asks you how we found you. You shall tell them I rescued you from Brook. You will tell them Brook kidnapped you to get back at me.¡± And that was when Bonnie couldn¡¯t take it any longer. She hissed, which was so displeasing to Xavier. He would have asked the guard to behead her at that moment but what would that do to him? ¡°You must be stupid if you think I will tell so many lies against my father!¡± She screamed at him, very much angry and frustrated, ¡°I will never do it! I won¡¯t do it ever! And my father didn¡¯t kidnap your mate,¡± she added immediately. Xavier chuckled, ¡± I wasn¡¯t giving you any choice. You will abide by my words or your mother dies!¡± He made a dangerous smirk, ¡± And then, I will still have to force it all on Brook. A rumor about something special,¡± He looked away dreamily, ¡± Brook kidnapped Gwen, gave her something to eat so she wouldn¡¯t remember her existence,¡± he looked back at her now, ¡± And what position would that bring you? No matter what you say then will help out, it would only make them curse Brook the more.¡± Bonnie couldn¡¯t stop the tears. She felt so many pain in her heart. Xavier was evil! Not only that, he was also a monster. Chapter 3: laugh, Bonnie, laugh! Bonnie cried severely after she was taken back to the prison. Her mother¡¯s effort to calm her down went in vain. She couldn¡¯t quiteprehend what Xavier told her. It was so impossible to do. And she wouldn¡¯t let Xavier do so much to her father. She wouldn¡¯t let the world see him as a traitor when in reality, he had done nothing wrong. But if she could find a way out. She wiped off the tears on her face and walked to her father, ¡°Dad, can you tell me how it all happened?¡± Brook looked up at her, ¡± There¡¯s no point,¡± he looked away again, ¡± I¡¯m just regretful. I should never have put you and your mother in such a position.¡± Bonnie smiled, ¡± It¡¯s ok dad but please, tell me.¡± Brook sighed and looked up at her again, ¡°Well, I got a piece of information that Xavier¡¯s mate would pass our territory on her way back to Xavier¡¯s pce. The unusual note stated that she would be harmed. And because she¡¯s on our territory, Xavier would hold us responsible,¡± he sighed again and looked away. ¡°I feared it would happen. Xavier and I haven¡¯t been in a good rtionship. I knew it would worsen the situation. So, I agreed to follow the note. The time Gwen would get to us was also stated in the note. But when I got there, lots of werewolves had already been killed and there was no trace of Gwen. So, we returned home.¡± Bonnie¡¯s heart ached, ¡± That means the note deceived you. Do you still have the note with you?¡± Brook dipped his left hand into his side pocket and brought out a small piece of paper. He stretched it out, ¡°I¡¯ve always kept it on me every time after the incident because I knew Xavier would be here.¡± Bonnie collected the note and perused it. She looked at her father again but this time with determination, ¡°I promise to get you and Mom here. And I will also clear the charges against you.¡± Brook sighed and looked away, he has lost hope in living. But Bonnie seemed determined. While she pretended to be Gwen, she would also find Gwen and bring the culprit to justice. Her father only needed to be patient with her. The next morning, the guards came to take Bonnie away. And the next thing Brook and her wife heard was that she had been killed. Brook was given a month to tell Xavier where he kept Gwen or he would kill his wife too. Annie cried for days until there were no more tears left. At that moment, she awaited death. She had nothing left to protect again. Meanwhile, Bonnie stayed in the room crying too. Lots of things were troubling her. She didn¡¯t want to start thinking of how she would be forced to tell lies against her parents. Fortunately, Gwen¡¯s parents didn¡¯te that morning. They woulde in five days with Alpha Rowan for a home warming party. The knob turned, startling Gwen for a while and Elixir sauntered inside the room. Elixir was the maid serving her. She also had Tina that doe in every afternoon to teach her the ways of Gwen. Bonnie turned to look at her, her face damped with tears. She wouldn¡¯t stop crying, she couldn¡¯t. She had been living as Gwen for two days now and she wondered how well her parents were currently. ¡°Mistress,¡± she said and bowed slightly, ¡°You need to get dressed,¡± she walked nearer and opened the wardrobe. She selected two dresses, ¡°I know you love blue but you like wearing this dress too. Which one will you go for today?¡± Bonnie sucked in breath and wiped off the tears from her face, ¡°What¡¯s happening today?¡± Elixir smiled, ¡°You are going on a hunt with Alpha Xavier,¡± she said excitedly. Bonnie sighed. She wondered why she looked so excited when she wasn¡¯t. She doesn¡¯t even want to see Xavier forever. Elixir watched her for a while and a frown appeared on her face. She dropped the clothes on the bed and walked to the door. She opened it and tucked out her head out for a while. She closed the door again and unturned the keys before she walked towards Bonnie. She sat Bonnie down on the bed, with her, ¡°I know how you feel but you have to make this work.¡± Bonnie raised a confused brow, ¡°What are you talking about?¡¯ Elixir smiled, ¡± I know you aren¡¯t my first mistress. You are Bonnie and not Gwen. But well, sometimes we do meet ourselves in situations that can¡¯t be helped.¡± Bonnie¡¯s mouth went open in agape and her eyes went gobsmacked, ¡± How did you know?¡± She smoothed her hair slightly, ¡°I know lots of things. I will just tell you to stay calm and get yourself together. Crying will solve nothing, it will only make you feel more miserable. You are ugly whenever you cry.¡± For the first time after a long time, Bonnie lets out a deep heartwarmingugh, ¡°Thank you.¡±Content ? N?velDrama.Org. Elixir stood and lets out another smile, ¡°I¡¯m sure you can clear this mess. All you need to return to your life is Gwen. And I¡¯m sure she¡¯s out somewhere if only we can get to her, ¡°She walked back to the door and unturned the key again. ¡°I nned to find her, will you help me?¡± ¡°Will you dress now?¡± She walked back to Bonnie, ignoring her question. She picked the two dresses from the bed. Bonnie looked at the two clothes, ¡°The blue looks good,¡± she smiled and looked to meet Elixir in the eyes, ¡°Will you help me?¡± Elixir sighed and nodded slowly, ¡°I will.¡± Bonnie snatched the blue dress from her, ¡°I should get dressed then.¡± Bonnie was led outside by four more maids aside from Elixir. Elixir was a maid that Xavier gave to Gwen along with her wedding package. And though, Elixir was just like other maids, yet she seemed to know Gwen more than even Xavier could tell. Bonnie walked to Xavier. She bent her head slightly but Xavier took her hand and whirled her closer to his chest, making Bonnie¡¯s heart stop a beat. Xavier moved his mouth to her ear, ¡°Act well, they are watching,¡± he warned sternly. Bonnie forced her eyes around her, at the werewolves looking at them, watching them as if they were looking for fault. Xavier kissed her forehead before pulling back, ¡°Can we leave now?¡± Unable to retrieve her voice because of the kiss, Bonnie nodded instead. Xavier smiled and stretched his hand to her, which she epted immediately with a smile too. Riding the horse with your partner shows how much you guys love each other. Werewolves are strong and faster. They could run so fast with their legs. And riding can be slowed. They ride for a while with no words. The maids and servants wereing behind them slowly, giving them the space they demanded. ¡°Laugh,¡± Xavier whispered suddenly. Bonnie looked at him, unsure of what he meant. Xavier looked at her, the dark lines were still on his face. Bonnie needed no one to tell her he hates her so very much, ¡°Gwenughs a lot. If you keep frowning, you will force Rowan to think I did something bad to you.¡± You did something bad to me, Bonnie wanted to say but she bit it back in and look away, ¡°Alright,¡± she said instead. Xavier looked away again, ¡°You will get ready for tonight. I will spend the night in your room. We must spark rumors and not let anyone think something has gone wrong.¡± Bonnie blushed annoyingly. A servant ran to Xavier, ¡± Master, it¡¯s a deer.¡± Xavier smiled. He set the arrow in the bow and extended towards the deer. Bonnie looked back at him, at how his muscles contract, at his self acknowledgment. Undeniably, Xavier was mighty. The arrow went deep into the deer¡¯s head. Everyone jubted and Bonnie couldn¡¯t help but smile secretly. Xavier turned to Bonnie suddenly and caught her smiling at him. He smiled too and Bonnie felt her heart stop for a moment, ¡°Will youe here?¡± The smile on his face was encouraging but she feared the hatred beneath it. Bonnie looked at the servants staring up at her with a wide smile on their faces. She looked back at Xavier and nodded slowly. Xavier got down swiftly and walked to Bonnie. He climbed on the horse behind her, ¡°Do you remember the first time we meant?¡± Xavier said dreamily and his hands brushed Bonnie. The ce at which he touched burned softly, ¡°You were riding!¡± He chuckled softly and kicked the horse so that it moved faster. They rode for a while until there was no one in sight. Xavier stopped the horse suddenly and got down as if he couldn¡¯t wait to get away from her. As if their skin touching was poisonous to him. He lets Bonnie get down nevertheless before he turned away from her. ¡°I told you tough, Bonnie, ugh!¡± His frustration rang in his voice. The calm expression he held the other time was gone only to be reced with a dark one. Bonnie shivered suddenly and looked away as she was scared of meeting his face. Xavier scares her seriously, everything about him scares her. Bonnie couldn¡¯t wait to go back to her room. She would rather be locked up than stay with Xavier. Xavier was suddenly standing so close to her, only a breath away, ¡°Do I look like a joke to you?¡± Bonnie couldn¡¯t breathe properly. It wasn¡¯t because of his hard tone this time, it was because of his closeness. For a reason unknown to her, his closeness was affecting her in a way she couldn¡¯t even describe. ¡°Do you_,¡± Xavier started again but stopped suddenly and his lips were suddenly touching hers. Bonnie felt the rush of adrenaline, the instant heat building up in her. Nevertheless, she made to withdraw away from him but his arms were suddenly behind her, pulling her so close to his chest as he deepen the kiss. Chapter 4: Appealing Alpha With great expertise, he kissed her while his hands moved on her ass lightly. Bonnie surrendered immediately, feeling adrenaline grow up in her again. She suddenly wanted more but Xavier pulled back quickly and spat away. Bonnie looked up just in time to see a retreating body. Someone came in on them the other time and Xavier had to fake a kiss. Xavier watched her for a while, ¡°You will ride back now!¡± He said and helped her up on the horse. He didn¡¯t try to sit, so Bonnie looked at him urgently, ¡°Are you noting?¡± The re he gave her was enough tost her for a lifetime. She turned the horse over slowly. Her father taught her how to ride and she knew it so well. ¡°Howl if you realize you are missing the way,¡± he told her and watched her ride away slowly. Xavier ran back to the wood, to Brook cottage. He walked inside the detached house. They had destroyed part of it days back. And he seemed so sure of the fact that Brook took Gwen. Brook and Xavier had never been on a talking term but he had never thought he could hurt him in that way. Well, more reason why he would do so. Xavier wouldn¡¯t be able to suspect him. Well, his n failed. He only needed to find Gwen, then he would kill him, his wife, and his daughter. Xavier looked around him for a moment before he started unturning everything in the room. There should be something that would give Brook out, something that would give him the clue of what he was looking for. After an hour of searching, Xavier had to retreat to his mansion. The thought that he couldn¡¯ty his hands on anything made him angry and frustrated. Xavier had never seemed so frustrated in all his life. He got whatever heid his hands on and that had been happening for so long until three days ago. A knock and Wesley walked in hurriedly, ¡°Xavier, we¡¯ve received a new report. Alpha Rowan will arrive earlier than Gwen¡¯s parents.¡± Xavier gathered the wrinkles on his forehead, ¡°Why will Rowan wants that?¡± ¡°I discover we have spies. Parker saw a shadow leave the mansion, but he lost the person.¡± Xavier¡¯s eyes sparked as realization suddenly dawns on him, ¡± Are you saying Rowan knows we don¡¯t have the real Gwen?¡± Wesley noded slowly, ¡°I believe so sir. And that he¡¯sing here to inspect that himself. Rowan is closer to Gwen. If anyone doesn¡¯t know her, Rowan would.¡± Sweats broke out of Xavier¡¯s forehead again. The frustration he had felt earlier mingled with anxiousness. They all cuddled up in him in some sort of crazy confusion. Xavier stepped down from his throne, ¡°I need to rest,¡± he held a hand across his forehead tiredly. Wesley watched him, ¡°Should I call in a mistress?¡± Xavier looked at Wesley and thought about it quickly. He shook his head negatively, ¡°I need to be with Gwen,¡± he dragged his legs towards the door. Wesley rushed to him, ¡± She¡¯s not Gwen. She¡¯s Bonnie,¡± he reminded bitterly. ¡°Yes! But she looks like my mate!¡± The deep voice made him pass his frustrating moment. He closed his eyes and tried to stay calm. He opened his eyes again, ¡°I have to see her as Gwen. And you should quit calling her Bonnie if you want to annihte any suspicious rumors,¡± he finished and walked out before Wesley would say more. If Rowan finds out who Bonnie was, it would smell trouble for him. Fuck! He wasn¡¯t concerned about the war in a bit. He was concerned about the aftermath of his feelings. How could he bear to kill Gwen¡¯s family? The thing would haunt him as long as he lived. And what would happen to Gwen¡¯s parents because they only had her. And he loved her. These are the reasons why he couldn¡¯t stop feeling so miserable. He walked to Bonnie¡¯s door and knocked lightly. He waited for some minutes before he forced the door open. He was not supposed to do that. Gwen and he have been married for more than two weeks. Aside from that, they¡¯ve been lovers for years. Xavier could enter whenever he likes but since this was Bonnie, he felt he should give her some space. He walked in and shuts the door. He locked the door and advanced towards the bed. Bonnie sat on the bed, staring at the dinner tray before her. She didn¡¯t even touch any of the food on the tray. Xavier walked to the window and pulled down the curtains, ¡°What are you doing?¡± Bonnie looked up at him slowly, ¡± Nothing.¡± Xavier sighed and pulled a chair close to the bed. He sat on it, facing her, ¡± You are not eating.¡± Bonnie looked down at the food again, uninterested, ¡°I¡¯m just not hungry.¡± Xavier frowned, ¡°You wouldn¡¯t want to disappoint me by refusing to eat and looking as though I¡¯ve been treating you bad. Rowan might see through you this way.¡± Bonnie sighed and picked up a loaf of bread. She chewed some and drank water forcefully. One can notice the misery on her face, the dread, the sadness. It reminded Xavier of Gwen, so much. He wondered how they could look so much alike. Even their expression seemed simr. Xavier sighed, ¡°It¡¯s ok, you don¡¯t need to force yourself to eat. You deceived me once, I¡¯m sure you will be able to deceive Rowan,¡± he got up and removed the tray. He dropped it on the table by the bedside and climbed on the bed, besides Bonnie. Bonnie went stiff but she didn¡¯t leave her position. She sat and stared out into nothingness. Xavier watched her backside for a while, ¡°You can choose to do whatever you like but you must sleep on the bed beside me. We must quench the rumors circting that you aren¡¯t my Gwen,¡± he said and Bonnie felt a lump form in her throat. How would it have been if Bonnie was his? Bonnieid back on the bed and turned towards him. Xavier was fast asleep already, his brow were still gathered as if he was quarreling with someone even in his sleep. He wasn¡¯t a male model but he should have been. Or maybe he was. Handsome was an understatement, he was more than that. His chiseled face was something she doesn¡¯t get to see everytime. His jawline was hard and looked more masculine. There was a serious concentration on his face. His brows looked well filled and perfect. He looked like a master piece. Bonnie had always heard that his best feature was his broad shoulders, though that was covered under the t-shirt he wore currently. His derring-do attitude and bass voice were a huge portion of his enterprising personality. He always wore neat clothes and his spicy aroma was appealing. Bonnie loved the way he smelt. This content ? 2024 N?velDrama.Org. Bonnie had a sudden urge to touch his face, the contour of his face or the chest that was ascending and descending so cool. She wouldn¡¯t stop thinking about the kiss. It had added to the trouble at hand. She traced her eyes, to his small but sexy lips. Xavier tasted like wine, a mixture of sweet favor. Bonnie wanted to taste it again. Xavier was asleep already, he wouldn¡¯t know if someone kissed him. Bonnie moved her lips closer to his mouth but a hand held her suddenly, stopping her and Xavier¡¯s eyes went wide open. They were close, so close just like the other time. Bonnie¡¯s heart hammered so wildly in her chest as she stared with eyes gone wide and dark with shock. Xavier suddenly wrapped his hands around her waist and turned her around so that he was on top of her, his face so close to hers. Bonnie felt her heart would burst out any moment from that time. Chapter 5: Caught Xavier watched her for a moment, at her slightly opened mouth, the terror and fear in her eyes as she stared at him. He pulled away quickly and sat. His muscles have flexed suddenly. He was almost confused. He thought it was Gwen. He almost kissed Bonnie thinking it was Gwen. He almost did what he was used to doing with Gwen, with Bonnie. He couldn¡¯t stop, he couldn¡¯t stop remembering her mate and the fact that Bonnie¡¯s father was the one that got her kidnapped. How then could he be there and be thinking of kissing his daughter? He should have her killed if it wasn¡¯t for the fact that he needed her to be Gwen pending the time he find Gwen. Damn! He can¡¯t wait to be back in Gwen¡¯s arms. He missed her so much. Xavier stood up and walked to the door. He wouldn¡¯t take it! He wouldn¡¯t continue sleeping in a traitor¡¯s room. The more he stayed so close to her, the more hatred he felt towards her. And it woild only stop with one thing. That was when his mate walk into his mansion. Xavier held the knob and turned it slightly, ¡°Rowan will be here tomorrow morning, be prepared,¡± he finished without a second nce at her.Content ? N?velDrama.Org. He opened the door and walked out. Bonnie released the air she didn¡¯t even know she was keeping. She got down from the bed and went to her shelf. She picked a book and flipped the pages to the middle, where the note her father gave her was kept. She sighed and perused the note. If only she could get her hands on the real culprit and find Gwen. Well, she has been monitored in and out these days. Elixir told her she would only be free to do so after her parents visited. But Bonnie wasn¡¯t even sure if Xavier would spare her after the visit. She felt so miserable about it all. And Alpha Rowan was supposed to arrive in three days. Why would he be arriving tomorrow? It doesn¡¯t even make any sense. But then, Xavier told her they needed to quench the rumors. Could it be that Alpha Rowan thoght she might not be the Gwen that he knows? How then was she expected to pass the phrase? Bonnie cupped her face in her hands and cried harder. She was done for. . Just like Xavier had expected, Rowan brought many soldiers more than he should. If he already suspected that his cousin wasn¡¯t in Xavier¡¯s mansion, that meant he might be nning on starting war immediately in Xavier¡¯s mansion. Xavier had to arrange a little housewarming for Rowan. When Rowan arrived, he was informed that his cousin was dressing up and he should go and wait for her in the hall. The party was a small one and very bright. The hall was decorated and songs were ying in the background when Rowan and his trusted werewolves walk in. Xavier was the next person that arrived and walked in with Wesley. He greeted Rowan just before the elders would walk in. It was the rule that all the elders of any pack must be out to greet the Alpha in their territory. It was aw that came with a punishment. After the usual greetings, every one of them stood at their post. Only Bonnie¡¯s seat was empty. Rowan looked over at Xavier, Where¡¯s my sister?¡± Xavier looked at him with a wide grin, ¡°Dressing, I think?¡± The music changed the atmosphere and got them waiting for another thirty minutes. Rowan was getting worried, same as Xavier. Sure, the dressing wouldn¡¯t take so long, or would it? Xavier waved a hand at Wesley and he walked closer to Xavier. He bent so that Xavier would be able to whisper into his ears, ¡°Find out what is happening and what Bonnie is doing in all this while.¡± Wesley made a curt nod and moved towards the door but it opened suddenly. ¡°Mrs. Harrison Gwen nee Evan,¡± a loud voice announced and Bonnie walked in, with Elixir behind her. Xavier held his breath. Any mistake and the n would get ruined. Bonnie walked majestically towards the seats of the elders where the elders and the Alphas were. She stopped before them all and made a bow, a curt bend as a sign of respect for them all. She looked up at Rowan and smiled wilder, ¡°Do you miss me so much that you had toe earlier than scheduled?¡± Rowanughed, ¡± Of course, I do!¡± Xavier lets out an exasperated sigh, Bonnie has done it alright. Rowan has been deceived. Rowan stood and walked to her. He pulled her into a bear hug, ¡°How have you been?¡± He pulled back again and stared all over her amazingly, ¡°Where did you get all this fat?¡± Bonnieughed, ¡± Come on Rowan, stop embarrassing me! Xavier dashed me little on his arm!¡± Her reply was funny. She stared up at Xavier. Their gaze met and held briefly. When Xavier smiled back at her, Rowan burst out into freshughter, ¡°My sister is always funny.¡± Bonnie looked back at Rowan, ¡°How was the trip. I hope you are not stressed?¡± Rowan shook his head negatively, ¡°I feel very much alife for seeing you,¡± his gaze moved swiftly from her face, to her neck. The face that held a wild smile suddenly forms a dark frown, ¡°Where¡¯s the ne?¡± Bonnie raised a skeptical brow, ¡°What ne?¡± Rowan watched her for a moment, ¡± The ne I gave you?¡± Bonnie swallowed harder, Xavier¡¯s grip on the chair hardened. Bonnie quickly thought of what to say, ¡°I lost it!¡± Bonnie said suddenly, ¡± I lost it when I went hunting with Xavier yesterday. I told you, Xavier, didn¡¯t I?¡± She turned her head towards Xavier again. Xavier stood and walked to them, ¡± Yes you did love,¡± he said and looked at Rowan, ¡°Why don¡¯t you get some rest now?¡± Rowan didn¡¯t respond, in fact, he wasn¡¯t looking at anyone of them. He seemed to be in deep thought. When he finally looked up, his gaze found Bonnie¡¯s. ¡°Why did I give you that ne?¡± ¡°Eh?¡± Bonnie fumbled for what to say. She and Xavier quickly realize Rowan was trying to find out if she was the real Gwen. And he was going to get what he wanted because she doesn¡¯t know what he was asking him. Xavier looked at Bonnie, his eyes pleading or maybe they were just pitiful. Bonnie looked at Rowan again, ¡°I can¡¯t remember,¡± she said and looked away, silently begging Xavier toe to her rescue. ¡°Gwen had a great fall that took away her memories,¡± Xavier interceded for her. Rowan watched Xavier for a while as if he couldn¡¯t quite believe what he had just said. He looked back at Bonnie, ¡°How old am I?¡± Bonnie smiled now, ¡°Almost five hundred.¡± Rowan chuckled bitterly and looked away, ¡°You said she lost her memories, how then did she know my age?¡± A smirk was on his face He whirled to look at his guards, ¡± She¡¯s not Gwen! Take her.¡± Bonnie felt her pulse increased. She has just been caught. Xavier had to cuss underneath his breath. That¡¯s it! The war would start immediately. What would she do? No! What would they do to her? Chapter 6: Racing heart Rowan turned around to look at the elders, his expression was defiant, ¡°Take this woman! She¡¯s not my Gwen!¡± Xavier stepped forward, ¡°why do you think so if I may ask.¡± Rowan smirked and looked back at Bonnie, ¡± She¡¯s fatter and she¡¯s definitely not Gwen. Gwen talks a lot but she doesn¡¯t, she¡¯s too curt. And her words seem to be attacking each other.¡± Xavier scoffed and walked to Bonnie. His hands wrapped around her, pulling her close to him. Bonnie stiffed, as heat rushed inside her at the closeness. ¡°If she¡¯s fatter, doesn¡¯t that mean I¡¯m taking very good care of her?¡± He smiled and looked at Bonnie, ¡± Aren¡¯t I?¡± Bonnie swallowed hard on therge lump that had suddenly formed in her throat, ¡± I received lots of attention. I¡¯m expected to get fat, isn¡¯t that good?¡± ¡± Alpha Rowan, we want you to ess this situation very well. Why will you think Gwen isn¡¯t Gwen?¡± Marcus said, stepping forward. Philip sighed, ¡± I beg you to take a great measure of consideration before concluding!¡± Xavier whipped his head towards him, shocked at his utteration. For once, Xavier was forced to hold his anger in check. He would have loved to batter his face at that moment. ¡°Please,¡± Augustine interceded, ¡°Please, take it easy.¡± Bonnie went quiet. At first, what Xavier saw was her dejected body, her head cast downward. Then, a soft sobs. It slowly developed into a cry of anguish. And that was when it hit Xavier! Gwen loves tough a lot but she was easily made to cry. She always tries to act strong in front of everyone. And so, Xavier had only been the one to see her in that state. And well, his cousin too. Alpha Rowan knows a lot about Gwen. It was undoubtedly true that she would hide that little fact of her from him. ¡°I don¡¯t know what you saw but,¡± Bonnie looked up at Xavier, ¡°Is this another way to go around the settlement you had with Xavier?¡± Xavier stiffed beside her, his mind in a daze. How did she know about the deep resentment? ¡°You know how much I love him,¡± she turned to Rowan dramatically, ¡°Why will you think I¡¯m not your cousin? Why?¡± She cried harder. Xavier clenched his teeth. He hated to see Gwen cry. It was one of his weaknesses. As Bonnie made to walk away. Xavier held her suddenly, stopping her and he whirled her around to face him. He pulled her so close to his chest as if he was afraid of anyone taking her away. Or doing it again. Bonnie snuggled close to him, putting her arms around him while she continued to sob, light one now. Rowan took his steps towards her slowly and touched her, ¡°Gwen!¡± Bonnie jerked free from Xavier¡¯s hold. Xavier let her turn to look at Rowan but his height was still behind her as if guarding her. ¡°I¡¯m sorry for not being able to trust you,¡± his voice has grown soft and clear of doubt. Bonnie stared for a while before running out of the hall. Elixir followed quickly. Xavier sighed and looked at Rowan, ¡°You should have facts before you make ims,¡± he turned around and followed after her. Bonnie walked in quickly and stopped at the door to look at Elixir, ¡°I want you to find a way to make me see them! I won¡¯t let your absence be noticeable during the dinner.¡± Elixir nodded briefly, ¡± I will do that quickly.* Bonnie turned around slowly, she would look for a way no matter what to make sure her parents are cleared of all the chargesid before them. It doesn¡¯t matter how she takes it. She wouldn¡¯ty still because she knew Xavier wouldn¡¯t spare her after she had fulfilled the mission. The moment she had made Rowan see it was really Gwen, Xavier wouldn¡¯t hesitate to vent his anger on her. So, it doesn¡¯t matter if she falls into danger while trying to prove her parent¡¯s innocence. She would do anything and everything. Bonnie walked to the bed as Elixir walked out. Something told Bonnie the killer had something to do with Xavier¡¯s court. She saw them today, how eager they all were. One of them was responsible, Bonnie couldn¡¯t help but think. If only, she could get their handwriting. But if it was one of them, then they wouldn¡¯t be the one to write the note. Someone close to them would have. Someone close, like a personal guard. She should check out for them. The door opened again and Bonnie wondered why Elixir was back so quickly. She looked back and gasped softly when she saw Xavier emerged. There was something about the Alpha that seems to take her senses away even when she needed it to proffer a solution. ¡°You did great Bonnie,¡± he said with so much authority. His presence has suddenly made the room grow smaller. Xavier was a man of physique, there was no doubting. But there was also something about him that seems to install fear wherever he went. Bonnie knew that Rowan wouldn¡¯t be able to stand against him even in war. So, she wondered what he was so scared about. Why was he so scared to go to war? Bonnie swallowed harder as she watched him walk near. Her hand grip the bedsheet tightly as if to rip it. She could still feel their closeness as if they were still together. As if sensing her hesitation, Xavier stopped suddenly and smile. And that was when Bonnie saw the smile behind the dark frown. The smile that has suddenly been forced to stay in exile. Bonnie would never think Xavier would ever smile for her, he seemed to hate her so much but he was smiling now. Bonnie¡¯s heart raced as she stared at the bright smile on his face. Xavier was an epitome of handsomeness. Even the smile made him look unique and Bonnie prayed silently that he continued smiling. ¡°You did great!¡± He said finally. He wasn¡¯t smiling now but the face was light and the smile could be vivid underneath. Bonnie was d she did so far. ¡°Now, enough of the act. You should see and speak with your cousin,¡± he said and offered out his hand. Bonnie reached for it quickly. When their hands touched, she felt a rush surge of adrenaline. She looked up at Xavier and wondered what was wrong with her. Why does her heart beat so fast? For a moment, Xavier¡¯s face transform back to the dark frown she was used to. And Bonnie had to wonder if he saw it. If he saw how her heart was racing for him. This material belongs to N?velDrama.Org. Chapter 7: Assessment Xavier pulled her off the bed, his face suddenly sneaked back into the dark frown Bonnie was almost getting familiar with. This material belongs to N?velDrama.Org. ¡°You did so well. Make sure to continue doing your part and do not let Rowan see any stain, ok?¡± Bonnie tried to speak but it seemed like a lump was suddenly growing in her throat. She nodded instead. Xavier was still holding her, the ce giving her the heat she needed to survive even for eternity. Bonnie wondered if Xavier could feel the same way as she was feeling or maybe she was just having those stupid feelings because Xavier was hot? ¡°Can we go?¡± He asked but he didn¡¯t wait for a reply before he started towards the door, pulling Bonnie slightly behind him. Bonnie looked downcast throughout until they were almost at the hall. ¡°Smile Bonnie, that¡¯s the secret,¡± he whispered before the door opened and they walked in. Bonnie smiled and wretched free from Xavier. She found her way to Rowan who was already making his way towards her. ¡°I¡¯m sorry cousin, I¡¯m sorry I couldn¡¯t believe you,¡± Rowan offered, pulling her into a bear hug. He pulled back after a while, ¡°I¡¯m sorry for worrying you so much!¡± Bonnie sobbed quietly Rowan sighed and wiped away the tears that lingered on her cheek, ¡°Xavier is really taking good care of you. I couldn¡¯t recognize my sister.¡± Bonnieughed. Soft and enchanting, one that Xavier had never heard, well, from her. It was unlike Gwen. They seemed so different, yet so the same. How was it possible that there was an Omega somewhere that resembled her beta mate? Something of such had never happened since all his born days. ¡°Come,¡± Rowan saif as he gently led her to the high table. He made her sit beside her. Bonnie looked up at the elders of Xavier. Xavier has told her their names because she was supposed to avoid them so they wouldn¡¯t notice she wasn¡¯t the real Gwen. They sat by Xavier¡¯s left side while his elders were to the other. Augustine was next to him. His in expression was uneasy to read. He has been known for his soft and gentle behaviour. And he also doesn¡¯t act so harshly. Very intelligent as Elixir would put it but very cheeky. The next was Marcus. He was the calm of them all. The Alpha that everyone loved and yet feared. No one knew why but well, his physique could be the reason. He has arge mark stretched across his face. It extended from the side of his left cheek, towards his eyes, stopping briefly over his eyes to continue over his brow. The next was Philip. He was reckless and easy to show his feelings. Elixir said he had once fought with Xavier for his position. And well, in this case, he was an easy target. Philip could have kidnapped Gwen to make Xavier suffer, it was very easy but Bonnie wasn¡¯t sure. The next was Cindy, the only daughter of Elder Adam that died recently. She was easygoing and didn¡¯t really associate with others. One of them could have been involved with kidnapping Gwen. The reason was cleared. They were all Alpha¡¯s who would love to rule like Xavier. If Bonnie¡¯s father had submitted to his regency, he would have been allowed to be one of his elders too, at the most. ¡°It was so beautiful. Paris was,¡± Rowan said andughed. He looked up at Xavier, ¡± When are you bringing Gwen to the city?¡± Xavier picked his cup of wine, ¡± Soon, whenever she¡¯s ready to go. I¡¯m in the middle of a business here and my wife has refused to leave me alone,¡± he looked over at Bonnie and caught her staring. He winked at her before he gulped down the content of the wine. ¡°Yes, I remember she wasing here when she got attacked. At least I forgot, who took her?¡± ¡± Brook,¡± Philip interrupted quickly. Bonnie looked at him quickly. The main culprit will always be the one to mention names. It was to direct the attention away from them as the real one. ¡°Brook?¡± Rowan brow raised beside Gwen, ¡°Brook Marrow?¡± ¡°Yes,¡± Cindy said, ¡°Heid ambush for her. It was probably his way of getting back at Xavier.¡± Bonnie¡¯s hand formed a fist beside her, the blood rushed to her head and tears stung her eyes. The people were lying against her father and she couldn¡¯t even do anything about it. ¡°Where the fuck is he?¡± Rowan seemed angry now. ¡± Where?¡± Marcus said, amazingly, ¡± In the prison of course. His daughter has also been killed.¡± Rowan looked at Xavier, ¡± I will love to see him!¡± Bonnie whipped her head towards Rowan quickly. She touched her hand, forcing him to look at him, ¡°Can it beter?¡± Rowan beheld the tears on Bonnie¡¯s cheeks, ¡°Yes, I¡¯m so sorry dear cousin. I didn¡¯t know all you passed through and I pulled that kind of stunt.¡± The tears flowed freely from her face. Bonnie felt hurt. The pain of sitting around a table where her parents have been lied against was overwhelming for her. Bonnie couldn¡¯t stop crying. To Rowan, he would think she was crying because of the incident. Well, she was crying because of it but it was because her parents were wrongly used of it all. ¡°When are Gwen¡¯s parents arriving?¡± Augustine asked as he sipped his wine. Rowan took Bonnie¡¯s hand in an instance needed to console her, he looked up at him, ¡°Tomorrow. They are leaving for Korea. They only wanted to stop by. And oh, my wedding is in a week¡¯s time.¡± ¡± Wow! Congrattions!¡± Marcus cheered. Rowan looked over at Xavier who had been quiet for a while, ¡°You are invited but my cousin is supposed toe some days before.¡± Xavier nodded briefly, the wine in his mouth, ¡°No problem. I will look forward to it. Congrattions!¡± Rowan smiled and looked back at Bonnie, ¡°You shoulde and meet my wife before the wedding.¡± Bonnie nodded happily, ¡± I will really love to,¡± she looked away, and looked at Xavier. Xavier¡¯s head was bent dejectedly. There was no doubt he was thinking about his mate. He must miss her so much. If only Bonnie could find his mate, then everything would be settled once and for all. If only Bonnie could find the easiest way to make Xavier happy, anything to see his smile again. Chapter 8: In and out Chapter eight When Bonnie got back inside her room, it waste into the night. After much persuasion, Rowan retired into his chamber with the motive of seeing Bonnie¡¯s father the next day. Bonnieid on the bed and sobbed afresh. She felt so sick inside that she might just take a knife and kill the Alpha in his sleep. But if only that was simple. For an Omega like her, it seemed like a thing next to impossibility. One thing that was so surprising to Bonnie was the fact that she doesn¡¯t hate Xavier as much as she should. For someone that has done so much bad for her and her family, she was supposed to hate him and even be nning on revenging him. Funnily enough, Bonnie¡¯s feeling was far from that. And that she hated but she couldn¡¯t stop crushing on the Alpha. All she wanted at that time was to make him happy. And to do that, she needed to find his mate. But first, she needed to see her parents and let them know she was alive. The door opened slowly and quietly. Bonnie got up and looked at Elixir. ¡°We have to leave now,¡± she said and walked out. Bonnie rushed after her. They walked for a while, down the stairs. They took another turn and continued down the stairs. Bonnie walked closer to some guards sleeping on duty. Skeptical, she looked up at Elixir. ¡°I gave them some sleeping pills,¡± Elixir replied hurriedly before sliding down the stairs. She stopped and looked back at Bonnie, ¡°Hurry up!¡± Bonnie nodded once and advanced towards the familiar cage. Fresh tears stung her eyes as she stared at her mother asleep in the cage, and her father drawing something on the floor. Bonnie squatted in front of him, afraid of even calling him a father, someone she had joined others to lie against. Bonnie felt terrible and like an unfilial daughter. Brook looked up slowly, his eyes widening as he stared at Bonnie. For a while, he thought she was Gwen but the tears gave her away, ¡°Bonnie?¡± He called, unsure if he guessed right. Bonnie nodded slowly, the tears rushed out the more. Brook reached out for his hand, before looking up at her, ¡°I heard you were dead.¡± Bonnie let out a sigh and sobbed the more. Her mother turned and looked at Bonnie. Upon seeing her, she got up, ¡°Bonnie!¡± Bonnie looked over at her face, there were dried tears on her cheeks. It seemed like her mother couldn¡¯t stop crying. ¡°What happened? I thought Xavier killed you?¡± Bonnie shook her head slightly, ¡± He didn¡¯t because he needed me. I¡¯ve been pretending to be Gwen for a few days now.¡± Annie started sobbing, ¡± I¡¯m so sorry my daughter. I¡¯m really sorry!¡± Bonnie shook her head negatively and reached for her mother¡¯s hand, ¡°I¡¯m the one who¡¯s sorry. I¡¯ve done something I shouldn¡¯t have but I promised to find the proof that you are innocent.¡± Brooks gave his daughter a skeptical look, unsure of what she meant or what she was thinking of. Bonnie looked over at him, ¡°I n to find the real Gwen. I will find her and free you of all the charges. I know I¡¯m an Omega but I will surely make you proud.¡± Annie managed a smile and patted her hand softly, ¡± I¡¯ve always been proud of you. It doesn¡¯t matter what you are. I am proud to have you.¡± Bonnie looked over at her and nodded once, satisfied that his mother understood her. ¡°Is there anything we need to do?¡± Bonnie looked back at him, ¡± Yes. Firstly, I want you to take note of anyone thates inside this prison. And don¡¯t take any food from the guards, I will supply you with what you will eat. The kidnappers might want to poison you if he or she finds out that Xavier is unwilling to kill you anytime soon.¡± ¡± We can do that, anything else?¡± Bonnie swallowed harder, ¡°Alpha ising here tomorrow with me. He thinks I¡¯m Gwen and he thought you kidnapped me. No matter what he says, please don¡¯t get angry.¡± Annie smiled faintly, ¡± we can also do that.¡± Bonnie patted her parent¡¯s hands slightly, she smiled too, satisfied she has an understanding parent, ¡°I promise to get you out soon.¡± When Bonnie walked out of the dungeon, her mind was in a daze. She wondered how she could resolve it all. There was no point in presenting the note to Xavier because he would never believe it. She needed something concrete. Something that won¡¯t leave any room for doubt. She stopped in front of her room and nced at Elixir, ¡°You can go back now, I will handle myself.¡± Elixir bowed and walked away. Bonnie sighed. Even though her parents weren¡¯t among the high authorities or the Billionaires, Bonnie had never suffered. Even though Brook had decided to stay in the forest side, Bonnie had never suffered. She had never felt being an Omega was ever a problem. But now, she realized with a pang of sadness that it was a problem and a curse. Maybe she would have been stronger if she was an Alpha or a beta. Why did she have to be an Omega? Bonnie sobbed again. Would she ever stop crying? Would she? She closed her eyes against the tears sipping out of them. She knew she needed to be strong, for herself and her parents. Any mistake and they would be killed. Bonnie opened her eyes and turned the knob, opening the door. Though, she remembered leaving the room in light. Now, it was pitch darkness. She shrugged the thought away and switched on the light. She turned around and gasped. Her body shuddered uncontrobly as she stared at the back of the man that had put her into the mess she was currently in. ¡°Xavier_¡¯ her voice came out croaked and dried. ¡± Have you been crying?¡± He inquired, voice thick and frightening. How did he know? Bonnie wondered but didn¡¯t answer. ¡°Bonnie,¡± he called softly and turned to look at her. The dark frown was on his face as usual, ¡°I will appreciate it if you don¡¯t continue to y with my tail!¡± His eyes almost drilled holes in Bonnie¡¯s face. She looked away, ¡± I don¡¯t know what you are talking about,¡± even her voice gave her away. Suddenly, Xavier was near, his cologne surrounded Bonnie like the breeze around the flowers in spring. His hands reached to tilt her head up to look at him. Bonnie saw his eyes and shuddered again. Her heart raced in her chest. ¡°What did you have in mind going into my dungeon? Do you think I won¡¯t know everything that you are doing?¡± His voice turned deeper and Bonnie wondered if it was going to be getting deeper and deeper. He clenched his teeth angrily, and released Bonnie violently. Bonnie lost her bnce and fell to the floor, ¡°Don¡¯t try on my patience, Bonnie. I can kill you and your parents with this stance.¡± ¡± Why can¡¯t you make your investigation before you judge?¡± Bonnie said softly, ¡± Do you think you will find your mate if you kill my parents?¡± Xavier suddenly took her off the ground. He rushed to the bed and pinned her down by the neck,¡± I can kill you right now Bonnie!¡± Bonnie stared and fought for air, her hands hitting him slightly so he would release her but it seemed like a futile effort. With his gaze, Bonnie knew he meant every word. Xavier could kill her at that moment and get it done with. Nothing would happen. But she was scared of dying. She doesn¡¯t want to die just yet. Bonnie finally felt the air seep out of her. She could not even bring herself to fight Xavier again. It seems she was going to die eventually.Content ? N?velDrama.Org. ¡°Fuck!¡± Xavier spat and let her go suddenly. Bonnie drew in lots of air and coughed severally. Xavier was still over her, his deadly look over her body, ¡°if I find you uselessly flopping around, then I will kill you!¡± He got up and moved towards the door, ¡± This is thest mercy I will ever grant you. I will not go so easy on you the next time. And if you try anything funny with Rowan, I will kill you!¡± He finished and walked out Bonnie started sobbing again. Was she done for? Would she ever be able to save her parents? Would she even be able to save herself? It all seemed so hard for her. What should she do? Chapter 9: Suspiciously The next day, Bonnie felt weak and motionless. She stayed in bed for some couple of hours, unable to decipher where her mind was. This material belongs to N?velDrama.Org. The event of the previous night clouded her mind that she barely forgot her name. Was she Gwen or was she Bonnie? Or was she the puppet that the Alpha wanted to get rid of at all cost? There was no debating thetter because she knew why she existed. The main reason why Xavier had kept her alive was because of Gwen. Bonnie struggled out of bed and stared out into nothingness. Everything felt so empty and painful. Nothing hurts more than waking up the next day and reminding yourself that you could die at any time. Walking on knives and shedding out blood that would one day kill you. The door opened slightly and Elixir stepped in. She beheld Bonnie for a while, a sigh escaped her before she moved to her. She sat beside her and held her hands in hers, ¡°Bonnie.¡± Bonnie sighed again before she turned to look at Elixir. A gasp escaped Elixir as she stared, ¡± What happened to your face. Why do you look like this?¡± Bonnie stared, expressionless. Elixir¡¯s hand flew to her mouth and she stared at her pretty face. She released her hand and smiled softly, ¡°Remind me never to leave you like I didst night. You look as though you saw a ghost.¡± Despite the situation, Bonnieughed, ¡± I won¡¯t.¡± Elixir got up and moved to the wardrobe, ¡°I will write it in my heart!¡± She retrieved two gowns, ¡± What are you wearing today? Pink or red?¡± Bonnie sighed, ¡± Any difference?¡± ¡± Of course. This is red,¡± she raised the red dress higher, ¡°While this is pink,¡± she gestured to the next dress. ¡± They all looked the same to me. And why is Gwen only wearing gowns?¡± Bonnie looked away tiredly. ¡± Because she loved it! She was always wearing dresses.¡± She pouted out. Bonnie paused for a moment, her calcting mind jolted her out. She turned to look at Elixir, rubbing the tip of the red dress, ¡°Did you just use past tense for her?¡± Elixir whipped her head towards her, ¡± What?¡± She raised a brow, skeptical. ¡± You used past tense for Gwen. You are not supposed to because she¡¯s not dead.¡± Elixir sighed, ¡± You scared me. Well, I only used past tense because she¡¯s no longer here.¡± Bonnie squeezed her forehead, ¡± Please, don¡¯t. I pray she doesn¡¯t die. You should join me in prayer.¡± Elixir smiled, ¡± Of course, Bonnie. I¡¯m all after your happiness after all and I will do anything for you. Now, can we dress up? You need to meet your cousin.¡± Bonnie yawnedzily, ¡± Gosh! This is so annoying,¡± she slipped out of her previous dress. She looked over at Elixir making the water in the bathroom, ¡°Have you arranged the other thing for me?¡± Elixir nced back, ¡°What?¡± Bonnie moved closer, ¡± Concerning my parents.¡± Elixir smiled again, reassuringly, ¡°Yes, I made provision. I will supply them with the food. Their meal won¡¯t be meddled with, trust me.¡± Bonnie smiled. Elixir stepped back and Bonnie entered the shower. She looked up at Elixir, ¡°I will repay you for all the good things you¡¯ve done for me.¡± Elixir made a sly smile before walking back to gather her undergarments. When Bonnie walked out of the room, she looked fresh and new. All thanks to Elixir and her makeup. Alpha Rowan was in the garden awaiting her. When she stepped in beside him, it felt as though Bonnie found sce all of a sudden. There was something with Rowan that seemed to give her the peace she never really knew she had. ¡°You look very beautiful, as always,¡± he smiled charmingly. Bonnie reciprocated it, ¡°I¡¯m sure your bride is the luckiest.¡± Rowanughed for a while, his sound simr and yet so different to Xavier. The simrities can be vivid in their sounds and well, the difference was also palpably clear. Whenever Rowanughed, she felt peace. Whenever Xavierughed, she felt a rush of adrenaline. She didn¡¯t even know if it was because she feared him so much. ¡°Should I hint you of who it is?¡± Rowan whispered into her left ear, jerking her automatically out of her thoughts. She stared, bewildered, ¡°Do I know her?¡± ¡°Yes! You¡¯ve met her countless times,¡± he sighed and stepped back, ¡± But you won¡¯t remember now, right? Your memories aren¡¯t back?¡± Bonnie shook her head, ¡± Soon brother, I believe.¡± Rowan turned away, his feature dark unsettling, ¡°I must meet the man that did this to you! At this moment!¡± Bonnie¡¯s heart skipped a beat at the sudden outburst. She feared something bad might happen. She opened her mouth to stop him but he was already making his way toward the entrance. Bonnie sighed again before she rushed after him. When she walked inside, Rowan was already speaking with Philip. Philip¡¯s gaze met Bonnie slightly as he exined the direction of the way to the dungeon to Rowan. For a moment, it seemed like Philip knew who she was. Perhaps, he was telling her something. Rowan looked back at Bonnie¡¯s hesitating figure, ¡°Come along cousin!¡± Bonnie gulped in the air and forced her legs to walk. Bonnie remembered she had it prepared. She had already spoken to her parents that they wereing that day to speak ill of them. But it still felt strange and hurtful that Bonnie would be a partaker of it. They walked through the passageway and stairs to the underground where her parents were held captive. The moment she sights them from afar, the tears came falling out of her eyes and she couldn¡¯t even stop it. She closed her eyes in an instant, needing to suppress whatever emotions she was having at the moment. Rowan held her by her arm suddenly, forcing Bonnie to look at him. He smiled and pulled her into a bear hug. Bonnie¡¯s heart skipped a hundred times. Heat rushed to her face. And somehow, it seemed like she wasn¡¯t the only one having that feeling. Rowan seemed to feel somehow too. Bonnie looked up at him and caught him staring. Their gaze held and locked. Chapter 10: Crushing on the cousin Rowan pulled back slowly, his gaze still on her. He cleared his throat meaningfully, ¡°Are you alright?¡± Bonnie¡¯s mouth evolved into a cute smile that could melt heart, ¡± I feel much better. You should hug me several times!¡± She teased. Rowanughed, and easily steadied his heartbeat, ¡°We should go back up,¡± he nced at the prison. Bonnie looked at him, skeptical, ¡°Aren¡¯t you going to see Brook?¡± He sighed, ced a hand behind Bonnie, and slowly led her up the stairs, ¡± The more you see them, the more sadness you do feel. I don¡¯t want to be the source of my sister¡¯s sadness.¡± Bonnie loved the affection he disyed or the way he said the word. It made Bonnie feel so special. It doesn¡¯t matter if she was Gwen to him. Bonnie has never had someone to cherish her so close or to call her a sister. The only thing she looked forward to then wasing of age and meeting her mate. Bonnie thought she could always find the love she missed through him. But even that was difficult for her because she never did. And she had been living in hell thinking she might not even have a mate. Perhaps the moon goodness forgot her. When Rowan walked her to the front of her door, he stepped back iming he had something urgent to attend to. Bonnie let him go because initially, she had wanted to rest and eat. She hadn¡¯t felt any appetite to do anything but now, she felt lightheaded. The door opened almost immediately as if Elixir could read her mind. She was always urate, Bonnie thought as she watched her ce the tray in front of her. Her face held a nice smile, ¡°Aren¡¯t you hungry?¡± Bonnieughed briefly, ¡°Are you a witch or do you work with a demon? ¡± She looked and sensed Elixir¡¯s hands stiffed against the tray. She looked up at her hurriedly, pained that she might have said something to hurt her. ¡°I wanted to say you were always perfect.¡± Elixir looked up and smiled, ¡± It¡¯s ok. I thought you were interrogating me because of what you heard from the maids.¡± The maids? Bonnie raised a confused brow but shrugged it off immediately, ¡± I can¡¯t wait to have my breakfast. I¡¯ve been starving. What¡¯s for this morning?¡± She ced the tray on the small table and ced the tray on the bed before her. She uncovered the te and Bonnie stared at the food for a while. She raised a brow at her, confused, ¡°What¡¯s this?¡± ¡°Pot roast.¡± ¡°Pot what? Where do you get all this food from?¡± Elixirughed, ¡± The Alpha lives in the city. So, literally, we eat every food. You should taste it, you will like it.¡± She moved to the window and dropped the curtains, ¡± And you need to hurry up. The Alpha wants you toe to his room.¡± Bonnie¡¯s heart stopped for a moment, fear came upon her, ¡± Why?¡± ¡± I don¡¯t know,¡± she turned to look at Bonnie. Sensing her fear, she moved closer and smiled brightly at her, ¡± You guys haven¡¯t seen each other since morning and Rowan is around. So, he merely wants to deceive everyone.¡± Bonnie shook her head unconsciously. Seeing Xavier was likeing face to face with the devil. Bonnie feared what would happen. She doesn¡¯t want to see him after what had transpiredst night. He might just squeeze her neck and kill hee at the next opportunity he gets. ¡°When is Rowan leaving?¡± ¡°Tomorrow and your parents areing in the day after,¡± Elixir said. Bonnie nodded slowly, thinking hard about how she would avoid Xavier at all cost. She delved into the food and took a mouthful. She looked up at Elixir with wide eyes, ¡°Oh Jeez! This tastes so good!¡± Elixir smiled and walked around to grab herundry. Bonnie didn¡¯t tell Elixir about the note. She didn¡¯t believe it was an important substance until she found out more about it. She was going to look into Philip. He was the first person her mind points to. Bonnie would go and see him by afternoon. She would try to see what he would say to her. Obviously, he would be surprised and pained that Gwen was back. But if he was really keeping Gwen, he wouldn¡¯t look so bothered. Bonnie and Elixir walked out of the room. Bonnie turned to look at her, ¡°Which way is Xavier¡¯s room?¡± ¡°I will lead the way,¡± she said and moved forward. Bonnie walked behind her, ¡± Is Rowan¡¯s room opposite or in the same direction?¡± ¡°Opposite.¡± ¡°Then turn around. We are going to Rowan¡¯s room.¡± Elixir stopped immediately and turned to look at Bonnie, skeptical, ¡± The Alpha wants to see you,¡± she started again, helplessly. ¡°I know, I¡¯m just not ready to see him,¡± Bonnie shivered for a moment and a feeling prated her mind but it didn¡¯t matter. She would do anything to make sure she doesn¡¯t see Xavier for a while. ¡°But this is not what you should do. What will the Alpha do to you if you defy his order?¡± Bonnie smiled, ¡± The worst he can do is kill me. But he wouldn¡¯t do that yet because of Rowan. And well, I only chose to see my cousin. Is that a crime?¡± Elixir swallowed harder, ¡± But this isn¡¯t as easy as you see it,¡± she protested softly. Bonnie moved closer and patted her slightly on her arm, ¡°You don¡¯t need to worry about anything. I will handle it all. Now, lead the way.¡± Elixir sighed and started away. Bonnie walked after her. They walked for a while before Elixir stopped before a door. She turned to look at Bonnie, ¡°This is his room.¡± Bonnie smiled and walked nearer, ¡°You can go. And please see that my parents get fed.¡± Elixir smiled, ¡°I will do that,¡± she said and walked away. Bonnie knocked on the door slightly.Content ? N?velDrama.Org. ¡°Yes,e in,¡± a deep voice from within said. Bonnie swallowed hard before she opened the door. Rowan looked back at Bonnie, a ss of wine in his right hand. He wasn¡¯t wearing anything on his upper body, he was just with a pair of ck trousers. Bonnie¡¯s eyes went to his chest. His thick and broad shoulders and the abs that stood under them. Unconsciously, she shivered. Chapter 11: Heat with a cousin Bonnie looked away immediately, she felt her heart squeeze in her chest. And she wondered why she was feeling that way. The first time she had those feelings was with Xavier. Though, she was yet to discover what the feeling was all about. ¡°Why are you standing there?¡± Rowanughed and walked to a seat. Bonnie moved closer, ming herself already. Maybe she should have gone to see Xavier. She wondered groggily how Xavier was feeling at the moment. For an Alpha that doesn¡¯t like being questioned or defied, he must feel like a wrench at the moment. ¡°Will you like to drink?¡¯ Rowan asked while staring at the red wine he had ced on the table. Bonnie nodded quickly, she felt all bundled up. Perhaps what she needed at that moment was to get drunk. Rowanughed, ¡°strange,¡± heplimented and went to retrieve two sses of wine. He sat and looked up at Bonnie, ¡°Now you are even thinking differently.¡± Bonnie raised a brow, skeptical, ¡°What do you mean?¡± ¡°Well,¡± he poured the wine, ¡°Gwen doesn¡¯t like taking alcohol. So, it¡¯s surprising you are asking for it.¡± Bonnie¡¯s heart made a sudden thud in her chest. Elixir was right. She shouldn¡¯t have gone to see Rowan. What if he found out? ¡°It¡¯s ok,¡± Rowan said quickly, not even giving her the space to say anything, ¡°it was just some thoughts but I remember you lost your memories. Most times, we end up doing things that we shouldn¡¯t after losing our memories.¡± Bonnie managed a smile since she couldn¡¯t do anything, ¡± Actually, I thought you might be asleep.¡± Rowan stretched out the cup which she collected and nodded gratefully towards him, ¡°And you came anyway?¡± Bonnie sipped the wine, ¡°I was bored and I thought you might be bored too. Also, I wanted to recover on things I had lost.¡± Rowan watched her for a moment, ¡± You just spoke like Gwen. It¡¯s just a pity you don¡¯t remember most things that had happened between us. But,¡± he gulped down the entire content of the wine and poured himself more, ¡°What do you want to know?¡± ¡°Tell me about yourself.¡± Rowan smiled, ¡°Seriously? Come on, drink more!¡¯ he said and pour Bonnie more wine, ¡°While I start the story,¡± he sat up and flexed his muscles. Bonnie stared, amazed for a while. And for that tiny moment, she used the opportunity to give him deep scrutiny. He looked simr to Xavier in the way their muscles seemed to contract or the fact that they are both handsome. They are both light inplexion with strikingly red eyes. Of course, they were both Alphas and theymand authorities. But aside from that, it seemed like they both weigh the same in Bonnie¡¯s heart. It seemed like she doesn¡¯t want to lose either. There was something about them both that seemed to ignite a fire in her. Since she had eventuallye of age and it seemed so difficult for her to find a mate, it seemed like her hormones were running wild. Well, she would never be allowed to enter heat since she¡¯s neither married nor does she have a mate. Nevertheless, it felt great for her to feel that way towards the two Alpha. Bonnie smiled and gulped down more content of the wine. The hotness in it made her squeeze her face and stared wild at Rowan. ¡°How the fuck did you swallow that at once?¡± Rowan stopped for a moment andughed, ¡°I¡¯m an Alpha, have you forgotten and you are_¡± he stopped another moment. And Bonnie smiled, ¡± O_¡± ¡± Gamma!¡± He interrupted quickly and Bonnie could feel the blood rise in her. She had almost made another mistake. She had forgotten Gwen was a Gamma and she was an Omega. Rowan raised a brow at her, ¡°What were you about to say? It sounds like you wanted to pronounce Omega.¡± Bonnieughed and gulped down the remaining content of the wine. She stretched it out and watched Rowan refill it. ¡°I wanted to ask if you believe there are Omega. And have you ever seen one?¡± Rowan looked away and thought for a while, ¡± I think there are, even though I haven¡¯t seen one,¡± he looked back at her, ¡± They are merely Omega. Omega are creatures that have no strength in them.¡± ¡± Can you marry an Omega?¡± Rowan smiled, ¡± Why not? If she¡¯s really my mate then I would.¡± Bonnie smiled. She wondered what Xavier¡¯s opinion would be. And she desperately wanted to know it. Instinctively, she picked the bottle and refilled the ss with it. ¡°So, tell me about your wife,¡± she asked and sipped the wine. ¡± Well, she¡¯s pretty,¡± he said dreamily, ¡± You know it took me so long to find her,¡± heughed, ¡± I found her on one of the trips I told you of. She was a reporter and well, a werewolf. It made the work easier for me. It¡¯s not really easy mating humans these days.¡± Bonnieughed briefly and felt her vision double. ¡± Well, it only took us two months for us to n our wedding. I already told Xavier to let youe over some days before. Will youe five days before?¡± Bonnie squeezed her face and nodded, ¡± I will love too,¡± she took the bottle but this time she didn¡¯t pour it in the cup. She gulped it down directly from the bottle. Rowan stared, amazed and surprised. This content ? N?v/elDr(a)m/a.Org. When Bonnie dropped the bottle, her eyes went swiftly to green and back to being ck. Rowan stared harder, wiping his face with his hand to clear his vision perhaps he had only imagined it. If it was true, then Gwen was an Omega. When he stared again, there was no trace of the colour. And he assumed it could be his thought and discarded it. ¡°So, was she as pretty as I am or more?¡± Sheughed mischievously. Rowan inclined his head aside and chuckled lightly, ¡± Well, she¡¯s as pretty as you,¡± he stopped suddenly and stared at her, her smell rose to his nose in a way he couldn¡¯t ignore. The sweet aroma, pleading for him to have a taste. ¡°Fuck!¡± He swore and stood quickly. Gwen had just entered her heat. He moved closer and tried to help her up. Bonnie looked at him, while still trying to fight for him to let go, ¡°What are you doing?¡± ¡°You are on your heat! You need to go back to Xavier!¡± He said hurriedly and made to turn her over. Bonnieughed, unbelievably, ¡°How can I? I don¡¯t even have a mate!¡± Rowan stood, shocked. Did he just hear correctly? Bonnie finally looked up at him, the hair-splitting for him to look at her face. His eyes went to her lips and he couldn¡¯t stop the pumping he felt in his heart. Bonnie smiled and Rowan could feel the smell grow stronger around him. Fuck! He would need to get her out immediately. Though, he wondered why he felt so attracted to her. That wasn¡¯t supposed to happen. Gwen was supposed to be his cousin. ¡°Come down, I need to tell you something,¡± she said instead. Rowan sighed, frustrated but he bent nevertheless. Bonnie moved closer quickly until her lips met his, then she went still. Rowan felt every part of feelings rise in him. The wolf in him was responding differently. Chapter 12: Heat at the wrong time Rowan pushed Bonnie back immediately with thest strength he had left. If he wanted to follow his wolf, he might just have her at the very wrong moment. How could he have his little cousin? But how could she say she doesn¡¯t have a mate? Could Philip be right about the allegations he tabled before him? He did say the current person he saw as Gwen wasn¡¯t his Gwen. The knock on the door jerked him out of his thought. ¡°Who¡¯s there?¡± He called out, ¡°Please,e in.¡± The door opened and Xavier walked in. He hesitated for a moment, as he inhaled the air in. ¡°Fuck!¡± He swore and moved nearer to him. ¡°Thanks foring!¡± Rowan said and slowly let go of Bonnie. He watched her fall into Xavier¡¯s arms, ¡°She drank a lot,¡± he exined and looked up at Xavier. He wondered if Bonnie was saying the truth. But there was no way there would be someone that looked like Gwen. Maybe there was something somewhere that he didn¡¯t know. Perhaps there was something that Xavier wasn¡¯t telling him. But he was going to find out on his own. ¡°I¡¯m sorry for the disturbance,¡± Xavier said and scooped her in his arms as if she didn¡¯t weigh anything. He watched him walk out of the room, the smell following after. Xavier walked out of the room and pushed the door closed with his feet. He inhaled the breath and looked down at Bonnie, surprised look on his face. He walked to his room quickly. It would be bad if he took her to her room despite the fact that Rowan saw her go into heat. He took a short way to his chamber because he didn¡¯t want any male werewolves to perceive her smell. The maids outside Xavier¡¯s door opened the door and quickly went in to pull the nket back. Xavier looked at one, ¡°Get me some water.¡± ¡°Yes Alpha,¡± she replied and walked out. He looked down at Bonnie with disgust. ¡°How the fuck did she go on heat? She isn¡¯t even married and she doesn¡¯t have a mate yet,¡± Xavier cursed under his breath. He looked away and tried to suppress the smell from getting to him. He also had to constantly remind himself that she wasn¡¯t his mate, Gwen. She was just a bitch whose father fucked his mate up. Bonnie turned around on the bed, her hands touched Xavier, the action igniting heat in him. Xavier swallowed harder but he turned to look at her. But the fact that she went into heat still amazed him. The maid walked inside with the water and bowed before walking out again. Xavier hardly noticed as he continued to stare at Bonnie. He looked away and stood up immediately. He wouldn¡¯t be the one to have sex with her. He wouldn¡¯t even bring himself to do it with the traitor¡¯s daughter. He would just employ someone to do it for him. He walked out of the room and stared at the maid by the door, ¡°Where¡¯s Wesley?¡± ¡°He didn¡¯t say.¡± Xavier sighed, ¡°Look for him immediately. Tell him to report into the waiting room.¡± ¡°Alright,¡± the maid said and walked away. Xavier sighed and walked towards the Waiting room with faster strides. He needed someone before Bonnie would wake up. When he walked inside, he paced for a moment. The fact that he still hasn¡¯t found his mate was annoying. He doesn¡¯t even know where she was and there was no trace of her anywhere. Xavier felt a knot form in his stomach as he thought of what Gwen was passing through at the moment. How he wished he could get the slightest hint of where his mate was. He had missed her so much and he couldn¡¯t even wait to hold her in his arms again and make love to her. The thought of it wanted him to kill Brook and Bonnie and get it done with. But that wouldn¡¯t help him at that moment. He needed to quench the war at first. All others were supposed to follow after. The door opened suddenly and Wesley walked in, ¡°You wanted to see me here?¡± He walked nearer. Xavier met him halfway, ¡± Bonnie has gone into heat while she was visiting Rowan.¡± ¡± What!¡± He screamed and stopped himself immediately, ¡± I thought she was without a mate. Or was she mated before she came here?¡± Xavier thought for a moment, ¡± That could be it. Anyways, I want you to find a volunteer. I will pay him any amount.¡± Wesley raised a brow as if he couldn¡¯t quiteprehend what he was talking about, ¡°what for?¡± Xavier sighed, ¡°The fucking fuck Werewolves!¡± He said, half screaming, ¡± I need someone to fuck her. You obviously don¡¯t think I would do it?¡± Wesley stared, unbelievably, ¡± You are kidding, right.¡± Well, Wesley was like a brother to Xavier and he was the first person he trusted. Also, Wesley was the first person that could speak to Xavier as friend. If others aside from the elders tried it, they would meet their doom. This material belongs to N?velDrama.Org. And well, Wesley wasn¡¯t even part of the elders. But with the rtionship, he shared with Xavier, he was highly respected by all. ¡°What?¡± Xavier raised a brow too, ¡°What did you just say?¡± ¡°What will you do if rumors go around that someone fucked your mate during her heat.¡± Xavier stared for a while, ¡± We will pay to seal their lips.¡± ¡°And you think that would work? Even if it does, do you think it wouldn¡¯t backfire? Or will you stay in the same room while she gets fucked? People will differentiate it and that will mean trouble.¡± Xavier turned away quickly, his muscles flexing slightly, ¡°I¡¯m not doing it!¡± ¡°You have to! You have to do this because of Gwen¡¯s parents. We have been keeping this a secret, we can¡¯t afford to let the cat out of the bag now.¡± Xavier took a step forward, ¡± I don¡¯t care! I¡¯m just not going to fuck that bastard!¡± Wesley let out a sigh, ¡± so, what will you do?¡± A knock startled them for a moment. Wesley walked closer and unlocked the door. He opened it and let Elixir walk in. ¡°You have to stop my mistress! She has gone out in the open. And I think she¡¯s in her heat.¡± Xavier turned to look at her quickly, his heart raced. Chapter 13: Heats and fucks Xavier rushed out, his heart was racing as he walked towards the huge poles by his right. A door there led out of the huge pce. He stopped and looked around for a while. Bonnie was nowhere around him. It waste into the night already and he wondered where she had gone to. Elixir rushed to him, ¡°She went out of the castle already. She moved through the forest. I tried to call her back but she wouldn¡¯t stop.¡± Xavier sighed and started out of the castle. For some reason unknown to him, he turned around and started to walk towards the path that led to Brook¡¯s house. He stopped briefly and stared ahead at a clustered werewolves. A soft voice reached his ear, soft and enchanting. The songs in the air reminded him of the fact that it was the same song that was used at his wedding. Without another thought, he zoomed closer. He fought through the crowd, hitting hard against anybody his body got into contact with. Bonnie was singing and crying while lots of werewolves clustered all around her, their expression reacting to her scent, pupils dting, nostril-ring. Xavier howled and pushed several men away, ¡°Mine!¡± He said with a deep and frightening voice. Some backed up while some remained. Xavier didn¡¯t mind and instead pulled Bonnie up. Bonnie staggered back, obviously still drunk. She struggled for Xavier to release her. On second thought, Xavier took her off the ground. Bonnie fought for a moment and suddenly subsided, needs crawling in her. For a moment, she thought she was going insane. But as much as she wanted to break free from him. Something in him was still drawing her closer. At this action, the other werewolves backed off finally. Xavier walked for a while, the dark frown on his face something Bonnie didn¡¯t want to look at. So, she pretended to be asleep as he walked back to the castle. Rowan was waiting for him when he got to the entrance, ¡°Is everything alright?¡± Xavier nodded briefly and managed a smile, ¡± She¡¯s drunk, remember?¡± Rowan stared for a while and finally nodded back. Xavier walked to his room and dropped Bonnie on the bed with a grunt, ¡°What were you thinking? Going on heat like that? And you still had to go out?¡± His voice sounded harsh and frightening. Bonnie stood still, her heart beat raised above normal. But heat? She doubted it. She didn¡¯t even have a mate. So, there was no way for her to go into heat. ¡°Just answer me before I change my mind. I know you are not asleep!¡± He roared. Bonnie ignored him. Xavier sighed again before he walked out. Bonnie finally got up, several things on her mind. But she was more than confused. How could she go into heat when she didn¡¯t even have a mate. Then it hits her so hard that she almost fell. Xavier was her mate! Xavier was the one she had been waiting for all the years. Funnily enough, she got him like a caged rat. There was never going to be any forms of intimacy between them. While she thought about it, she felt her body w with need. She felt weird and well, sad. Why did she have to go on heat at that period? Why did Xavier turn out to be her mate? And she only had questions but the answers eluded her. Her heart raced, and she felt teary. Her body ached so much and her skin flushed, dewing with sweat. Her werewolf doing its best to manifest the heat. There was a glow of her eyes, a sharpening of teeth, and her pupils dting. She needed someone. She needed a man. But Xavier wouldn¡¯t even grant her that small wish. She would be forced to bear the pain. And it was frustrating her. She screamed all of a sudden, as she jerked the pillows in different directions, the feeling turning inside her moving from anger to needs. Well, if it was because of her parents, then she would do anything possible and well, impossible. The door opened again and Bonnie forgot toy back. She turned towards the entrance and looked at Xavier¡¯s frustrated face. And she wondered why he was there. Despite his reluctance, her scent curled through him, his nature taking over. Fertile female in heat, and she was his. He couldn¡¯t help but finally consider the opinion Wesley gave him. He growled, ¡°Get undressed.¡± Bonnie stared, confused, ¡°What are you doing?¡± He swallowed harder, ¡± You are on your heat,¡± he said briefly, not interested in expatiating. And Bonnie seemed to have grabbed what he meant. Her eyes went wide and dark, ¡°No!¡± She muttered and got off the bed, ¡°Get the fuck away from me!¡¯ she screamed, though her body was screaming something more different. He sighed, getting more frustrated, ¡°Do you seriously think I want to do this because I want to?¡± ¡°Then leave me alone!¡± She yelled angrily and in fear. Xavier watched her for a moment, ¡°Fine! If you are going to do this, then I will send in Westly or any avable guy to do it with you then. If you are so unwilling to do it with me, will you do it with them then?¡± Bonnie¡¯s eyes dted in fear. In the middle path between screaming ¡®get out and not resisting. She knew it needed to happen, and that there was worse in store if it wasn¡¯t him. But despite the need that the heat was causing her, she wouldn¡¯t be tearing off her clothes or jumping at him. She has some dignity to protect, especially because she knows he was unwilling? She didn¡¯t say a word and slowly freed herself of the clothes she was wearing. Her body shook uncontrobly as she finally freed herself from the protection the clothes gave her. He turned his back to her whilst he does the same. ¡°Fuck this!¡± he muttered thickly under his breath when a button fell off. She stood, watching his back, embarrassed, flustered, and aching for him. She held her clothing to her chest as he finished, shy. The tears dropped on the clothes she was holding, making her realize she has been crying. She brushed tears from her cheeks and managed a straight face. This material belongs to N?velDrama.Org. He turned around again but he doesn¡¯t look at her, ¡°Brace your hands on the mattress.¡± She dropped the clothes with her, walked on the bed, andplied slowly. She felt the heat of his skin as he approached. The heat wed through her, making her hands trembled as Xavier came on her. Her body ached and vibrated with the need, her skin crawling with it. She swallowed several breath and the tears seemed to make her feel more miserable. When he entered her, she screamed and grabbed the duvet. Yet, it felt like it was what she needed, what she wanted. ¡°Fuck! So tight!¡± Xavier muttered again, very much frustrated. But he pushed in again, very hard and well, rough that Bonnie knuckle almost turned white. Her face drained with tears and her body still dealing with the heat because the cock hasn¡¯t gotten in. She wanted to tell him to stop but she knew better than stopping him. It would only hurt her. What if he doesn¡¯t want to do this with her? What if he was going to force someone to do it with her. Bonnie couldn¡¯t help but feel grateful to him. When Xavier pushed in again, Bonnie cried aloud and tried to turn away but his hands were suddenly over hers, pinning her down so there was nowhere to run to. And he went deeper until he had filled her inside. Bonnie cried the more, her mind in a daze of what was currently happening to her. When he started moving, it was too fast that Bonnie felt painful and well, satisfying at the same time. She tried to talk but she felt ragged and it seemed like a lump was blocking her throat. She felt worst. Xavier murmured again and stroked her hands while she continued to cry, the bedsheet getting damp with her tears. ¡°You wanted me, didn¡¯t you?¡± He whispered into her ears, ¡± You could have requested for someone else. You wanted this and you got it!¡± His frightening and thick voice added to Bonnie¡¯s misery. She cried louder until she passed out under him, somehow aware that he continued to fuck her despite how much she had resisted. Chapter 14: Overused Chapter fourteen Bonnie opened her eyes slowly, she felt ragged and overused. Her face felt drawn together and dried. She tried to move from the bed and discovered how much it was so difficult for her to do. Then the events of the previous night came back at her, dangerously. She started sobbing afresh, cursing the life that she had. The fact that she was a traitor¡¯s daughter wasn¡¯t enough. She had to go on heat at an inconvenient time. But it was also Xavier¡¯s fault. He could have gone easy on her. He could have trusted her father and made research before concluding. Bonnie tried to move again and did so even though her legs and the space between her legs were screaming for help. She managed to walk into the bathroom, her head reeling. She felt used and dumped. And well, that was how she would always feel until a miracle would happen. She washed herself amidst tears. Who knew Xavier was her mate? But that was the dangerous thing. Now, she was scared that he might hate her for the rest of his life or he might abandon her whenever Gwen shows up. The feeling of sharing him seemed more painful than the fuck he gave her. She made warm water and soak herself so she would rid herself of the pains she was having between her legs. She closed her eyes and rested her head on the edge of the bathtub. When she opened her eyes again, she was on the bed and a nket was over her body. The breakfast tray was beside her and well, it seemed like the room had been tidied up. Surprised, she got up and took a toasted bread. She chewed and even that felt so difficult for her to do. A kind of known feeling overtook her at once. Because ofst night, Bonnie knew exactly what she was feeling. She heard that heat canst two to three days which was what was happening to her. For a moment, she prayed Xavier doesn¡¯t walk in. And she prayed she would walk out of the heat quickly. She managed more of the toasted bread and drank the milk ced beside the dish on the tray. When she turned her head toy back on the bed, she saw Xavier at the door. She didn¡¯t know how long he had been standing but the thought of it arose something hard in her. She tried to avoid his eyes andid back on the bed instead. Her heart raced within her and she thought he might hear. With two long strides, Xavier was suddenly beside the bed. Bonnie¡¯s body shook with a slight tremor to it, her body vibrating with a need to get touched by him. At that moment, she didn¡¯t feel any hatred toward him. She only wanted him for herself. If only there was something she could do.This material belongs to N?velDrama.Org. ¡°You didn¡¯t eat?¡± He questioned, his deep voice did nothing to suppress the hunger eating her deep. Instead, it made her want more. ¡°Are you angry about the whole thing?¡± His voice shrank to near a whisper and Bonnie had to look up to be sure he really asked the question. She didn¡¯t know his reason for the question but she wasn¡¯t ready to reply to him. Well, the truth was that she didn¡¯t feel angry but she felt heartbroken. Her first time should have been tender and gentle, but he has been rough and disregardful of her feelings. So, she was only scared of the next time, not of him, but of him being rough. He crawled into bed beside her, ¡°Do you know you need all the energy you can get if you really want to pass this heat sessfully?¡± Bonnie wanted to tell him to get out but that seemed so difficult. She wondered what was happening to her but the only thing she wanted was the man before her. ¡°Why are you so quiet? You are always used to talking,¡± he said and she felt his left hand over her body, and then she realized she was naked. When his hand touched her skin, something became trapped in her throat and she tried to push it down. ¡°Please,¡± she started, begging him instead for the want of his cock but it seemed like he wasn¡¯t aware. Nevertheless, he pulled the bedding apart and came on her. Bonnie turned to look at him, her heavy breathing making it hard for her to do something, or perhaps it was the heat. Everything seemed so crazy for her. He touched her slowly, and gently and Bonnie marveled why that was so. For his hands were seducing her body to arc into his touch, each caress passionate. The examination of her skin made her shudder with a moan. ¡°Who did you get mated to?¡± His thick voice hovered above her for a while. Bonnie¡¯s eyes went wider at the question. She swallowed harder and thought quickly if she should tell him the truth or not. She looked away, ¡°Yes,¡± she said, ¡°He was killed.¡± ¡°Oh,¡± Xavier nodded briefly, somehow satisfied by her reply. And then Bonnie had to wonder why. Then he pushed into her and Bonnie screamed out loud, much with the pain from the day earlier. Aside from that, it seemed like what she wanted at the moment. When he started riding her, Bonnie held her hands over his body, holding him so close to herself. For a reason unknown to her, she wanted Xavier all to herself. If only that could happen. If only she wouldn¡¯t be killed for kidnapping his mate. If only Xavier wouldn¡¯t hate her so much. If only Gwen would be nice enough to ept her as the second mate of her Alpha mate. And it was very impossible. Bonnie needed no one to tell her what was what. She was doomed! With a single mistake, she would be left with nothing. No family, no mate, and no Bonnie! Chapter 15: Submission mate Xavier let out another sigh, maybe for the umpteenth time now, ¡°No sign at all?¡± Wesley nodded briefly, ¡°No sigh. I can¡¯t find your mate anywhere.¡± Xavier forced himself up, with a ragged breath. He felt a strong headache set in. He needed to go back to the city but he couldn¡¯t because he had to look for Gwen. What should he do? ¡°I think interrogating Brook will do!¡± Wesley suggested, ¡°If we keep on doing this, then we wouldn¡¯t be able to get anywhere.¡± Xavier looked away and took a deep breath. He thought of Bonnie slowly. Somehow, it seemed strange that he was thinking of her that way. He felt attracted to her after the first sex. And the second one felt like heaven. And he felt familiar. It was just when he had sex with Gwen. When he met Gwen, he didn¡¯t know if she was his mate or not since getting to know your mate means you must have had sex with them. There was this strong feeling that overtook Xavier that night. The moment they were done having sex, he marked her his. But with Bonnie, it was different. Bonnie was the daughter of a traitor. She was someone he hated so much, someone that kidnapped her mate. But why then does he feel so much attracted to her? The feelings of having her whole were almost overwhelming. ¡°Why are you not saying anything?¡± Westly¡¯s voice jerked Xavier out of his thought. He turned to look at him again. He decided to make up his mind. There was no point harboring any feelings for the traitor¡¯s daughter. Gwen was his mate and will forever be. Maybe he was just like that because she was missing and because these two look so much the same. This content ? 2024 N?velDrama.Org. ¡°The interrogation will start soon. Prepare for the interrogation this night.¡± Wesley bowed and walked out. Xavier headed back to his room. It was the second day of Bonnie¡¯s heat. Well, even though he had almost hated the fact that she entered heat at such a particr time, he couldn¡¯t quiteprehend the fact that he loved it. Well, it was also a price Bonnie had to pay, because of her father¡¯s sin. If her father had not kidnapped his mate, he wouldn¡¯t be able to fuck her. He walked inside the room and met Bonnie eating. She seemed to have an appetite unlike the other day. Xavier closed the door and walked closer. The scent emanating from her was still stronger, calling out to him over and over. Bonnie looked up at him, ¡°You look worried.¡± Xavier turned slightly, to look at himself in the mirror fastened to his wardrobe. He saw the lines that marred his face. And aside from that, he couldn¡¯t miss the dark frown. Everything was just so upsetting to him. He doesn¡¯t know if he was supposed to kill Bonnie, Brook, and his wife or just let Bonnie go. The decisions were hanging on his neck like a chain. Xavier crawled into bed without another word. Bonnie packed the tes and moved the tray to the bed dresser. She turned towards Xavier again, ¡°Should I leave?¡± She asked softly and slowly, fear edging her voice. Xavier didn¡¯t answer and instead stared out into the ceiling. Bonnie swallowed harder and got off the bed. Even though, she felt so much heat inside. The urge to sit on his dick was overwhelming but she had pride. She got off the bed without another word. She barely took a step forward when Xavier¡¯s voice came out, shocking her for a moment. She turned to look at him, ¡°What did you just say?¡± ¡°I said I need to fuck you!¡± He intended to sound harsh and sly and he seeded, ¡°Come back to bed.¡± For a reason unknown to her, Bonnie found herself responding to him. It wasn¡¯t really anything anyways. She was just following her Alpha¡¯s instructions. As an Omega, the rules are simple. They follow their mate or Alpha. Bonnie walked back to the bed. She sat on the edge while stopping herself from moving near to him. The heat was much stronger, though not as the first day. ¡°Why do you have to do this if you don¡¯t want to?¡± Bonnie¡¯s voice felt ragged, ¡± We can always employ someone for the task.¡± Xavier turned his head slightly, ¡± You said you want me,¡± his voice was thick and overwhelming. Bonnie swallowed harder again, ¡°We can now,¡± the voice was so low that Xavier had to strain his ears before he could hear her. He pulled her closer quickly and made sure she wasid on the bed, forcefully. Bonnie¡¯s hands were jerked apart, her mouth stood open in an agape while Xavier stood above her with a teasing smile. ¡°Really?¡± He wasn¡¯t smiling but there was a twinkle in his eyes that said the word, ¡°Do you really want someone else to fuck you?¡± Bonnie stared with eyes gone gobsmacked. She didn¡¯t know why the word sounded so vulgar even though they¡¯ve had sex the second time. But heck no! She didn¡¯t want anyone else! She wanted him, and only him. ¡°Should I go?¡± His voice has softened, his eyes were calm and prating. Bonnie shivered at his touch and the want of his cock. Xavier withdrew immediately. His heavy body stepped back, his beautiful eyes watched Bonnie for a while before he started towards the door. Bonnie couldn¡¯t bear it! She felt a knot in her tummy and knew better than anyone else what she must do. She couldn¡¯t stop the fire burning inside her. The fire she knew only Xavier would quench. He was her mate after all. ¡°Wait!¡± She screamed, stopping Xavier just in time before he opened the door. He turned around again, ¡°what?¡± He raised a brow and waited. Bonnie looked away shamelessly, ¡°I don¡¯t want you to go.¡± ¡°Say the word, Bonnie!¡± Hemanded. Bonnie looked up immediately. It was the first time he would be calling her by her real name and it brought out some emotions she couldn¡¯t quite differentiate. It was just like an Alpha calling out to a wolf from his pack. ¡°Say it!¡± He repeated, strongly and Bonnie realized he was suddenly close again. ¡°I want you!¡± Bonnie shook with great tremor. He smiled, ¡°Tell me you want me to fuck you,¡± his voice was deep with emotions, and his wolf echoed through him. ¡°I want you to fuck me,¡± she whispered. Xavier came on top of her, ¡± Say that again Bonnie.¡± Bonnie swallowed harder, unable to stop herself, ¡± I want you to fuck me!¡± She said strongly. ¡°Harder?¡± Xavier raised his brows and touched her temple. Bonnie vibrated again, ¡± Yes, harder.¡± ¡°Good,¡± Xavier smiled again and bend to kiss her. Chapter 16: The pulling of mate bond Xavier watched Bonnie fall asleep and he couldn¡¯t stopparing her with Gwen. He wondered how they could look so much alike. His fingers were tracing the fine line of her chest, towards her full round breast. Xavier felt heat arise in him. He could smell her so well and her heat was drawing her to him. But aside from that, something else was happening. Her touch ignited a fire in him, making him want to do more with her. He knew and remembered clearly that he had never felt such a way with Gwen. Yes, the mate bond was there, but it was not as electrifying and strong as the one Bonnie was making him pass through. After the first sex, Xavier found himself worrying for her. Which shouldn¡¯t happen. He withdrew his hand and got up. He took his trousers, wearing them in a hurry as if he couldn¡¯t wait any more minutes in the room. Despite her scent crawling into his nose, Xavier forced himself out of the room and wore his t-shirt on his way to the meeting room. He needed to discuss how they were going to find Gwen. Damn, he hated the fact that everything was getting so hard for him. And the more he waited, the harder it got. This content ? N?v/elDr(a)m/a.Org. Wesley was waiting for him in front of the door. He walked past him inside the room. He let Wesley lock the door before he burst out, ¡°Something is happening to me!¡± Wesley blinked once, ¡± What is it? ¡± Xavier opened his mouth to say something. He didn¡¯t even know where to start but he could start from anywhere, anyways. But the word felt harder. It doesn¡¯t even make any sense to his ears. And the fact that Bonnie had lied about her mate was driving him crazy. If she had a mate, she wouldn¡¯t have been so tight. Damn, she went through pain before he could fit into her. ¡°Did something happen? Has Bonnie confessed?¡± Xavier sighed and turned away, ¡°If Brook isn¡¯t saying anything, do you think they might be telling the truth about their innocence? I mean he knew I woulde for him, why then would he risk it? ¡± ¡°Because he knew you would think like this and finally let him off the hook. Aside from that, I have evidence that someone met with Brook a night before Gwen went missing. The person must have informed him that Gwen was taking the route. ¡± Xavier nodded briefly. His exnation was feasible but the only thing he couldn¡¯t wrap his mind about was why Bonnie went into heat and why he was feeling rather so helpless around her. But he couldn¡¯t tell Wesley, he didn¡¯t even want to. He didn¡¯t want toplicate matters. He went to his chair instead, ¡°Rowan will be leaving for the city after Bonnie¡¯s heat. And she was going with him. I want some men and maids to follow her and inform me on whatever she does.¡± ¡± Yes, Alpha,¡± he bowed and took a step closer to him, ¡± What have you gotten concerning Gwen?¡± Xavier regarded him for a while, ¡± Brook is being calm, even after hearing about his daughter¡¯s death. I don¡¯t know how else to make him confess.¡± ¡± Yes, he¡¯s being stubborn. I¡¯m also on a dead end. He doesn¡¯t even want to say anything. He has been quiet.¡± Xavier banged his hand on the table angrily. He remembered Gwen¡¯s face as she said goodbye to him. He even kissed her. If he knew it would be thest time, he wouldn¡¯t have let her go. The pains were unbearable, eating him so deep into his soul. And he knew he would never be able to forgive himself if anything happened to Gwen. A soft knock jolted them out of their thoughts. Wesley quickly moved to the door. He opened the door and stared at the maid for a moment, ¡°What do you want?¡± ¡°There¡¯s something I need to tell the Alpha.¡± Wesley looked back at Xavier, ¡± One of Bonnie¡¯s maids is here to speak with you. Should I let her in?¡± Xavier¡¯s heart made a thud at her name and the thought of something bad happening to her, ¡°Let her in.¡± Wesley opened the door wider for the maid to walk in. Xavier stared at the familiar maid for a moment with raised brows, ¡°What is it?¡± The maid bowed, ¡°I wanted to report something to you about my mistress.¡± Wesley closed the door and moved closer to her, ¡± What is it?¡± The maid looked up, ¡± My mistress met with her parents before the heat and let them know she was alive. I guess the reason why her father isn¡¯t talking is because of this.¡± Xavier felt his blood boil, his muscles hardened, ¡± Are you sure about this?¡± ¡± Very well sir.¡± Xavier looked away for a moment, ¡± But howe you are telling me this,¡± he looked back at the maid, ¡± You seem so close to her now. And I don¡¯t expect you to give away her secrets like that.¡± ¡± Well, I only have a master. I serve Luna Gwen and I will do anything to bring her back to her position.¡± Xavier noted the look of loyalty in her eyes and he felt satisfied by it, ¡± Leave.¡± ¡°Yes but always tell us whenever you hear anything else or see anything else,¡± Wesley added for him. ¡± Yes sure,¡± the maid said before she moved to the door, with Wesley behind her. Xavier had been thinking about the reason why Brook was so calm. So, it was because Bonnie had met with them behind his back. He closed his eyes and inhaled slowly to calm down but it got worse. He felt very angry. He knew that Brook was the one that kidnapped his mate. But he didn¡¯t know why he kept denying the fact. Wesley walked back to him, ¡°What are you going to do?¡± He pulled Xavier out of his thoughts. Xavier opened his eyes and looked at Wesley, ¡°The first n isn¡¯t going to change. But I think I¡¯m going to have to use n b.¡± Wesley studied him for a moment, ¡± Do you mean you are going to kill Brook?¡± Xavier¡¯s face formed a dark frown, ¡°Not only him. Brook and his wife.¡± Chapter 17: Miserable mate There was shing and the movement of swords, and ws. People falling and dying, heads being ripped off, wolves caught in between, unable to morph fully before death took its prey. Bonnie woke up with a loud yell. It seemed like she had been having the nightmare again. She had always been dreaming about the day her happiness turned to sadness. Especially whenever she saw something to remind her of it. Her throat felt patchy and itching. She looked down at herself. She was still naked, and hadn¡¯t really had the time to wear clothes. She remembered Xavier came in earlier and they had another hot sex. Though, it seemed better than the first time. She got up and her legs threatened to break under her. She fell to the floor, feeling overused again. It wasn¡¯t Xavier¡¯s fault anyway. She was the one that had to go into heat at a very wrong time. She didn¡¯t know how much she had slept anyways or the day she was in. Xavier doesn¡¯t even allow her to use a phone. She got up again and managed to enter the bathroom. She did say she wanted to investigate the luna kidnap but she hadn¡¯t gotten anywhere. She didn¡¯t even know how she was supposed to do it. And her only prime suspect was Philip. But she doesn¡¯t even know what to do now that the heat was keeping her hostage in her room. How she wished she could walk out of the heat at that instance. She closed her eyes and tried to settle her mind on something, anything aside from thinking about Xavier. It seemed so difficult to forget Xavier in his majesty. But the warm water soon soothed her heart and she found herself being pulled away by a force, well towards her nightmare. No! She was drowning! This content ? 2024 N?velDrama.Org. She opened her eyes and looked up. It actually looked like she was in an ocean and the tide was pulling her in. She didn¡¯t fight it, what was her usefulness in life anyways. ¡°No! Bonnie!¡± She heard that deep familiar voice screaming over her head. In the next instant, she was looking at his cute face above the water. She closed her eyes slowly as she felt darkness hovered above her. Before she lost consciousness, she felt a pair of strong arms wrapped around her, pulling her hard against a warm but hard chest. She opened her eyes again, with ease now. The first thing she saw was rays of images, and something was holding her so tight. She realized that the rays of images were from Xavier¡¯s chest and her arms were pulling her close to him. ¡°Fuck Bonnie!¡± He cursed again. She didn¡¯t know if he was only worried about who would take his mate¡¯s ce if she died. But she loved the fact that he was concerned about her. Bonnie raised her arms and hugged him as well. He went rigid at the action. He pulled her back and stared at her with those soft eyes. There were hints of tears in his eyes. Bonnie blinked, unsure if she saw it well. She didn¡¯t have the chance to check again as his lips suddenly met hers. It was so fast that Bonnie didn¡¯t see iting. Her heart thumped madly in her chest. A strange feeling coursed through her and she vibrated. Xavier vibrated as well and she wondered if he felt exactly the same way she had. Well, he was supposed to because he was her mate after all. He pulled apart after a moment and smiled so enchanting. Then, he pulled her into another hug as if he was scared she might leave him. ¡°Don¡¯t go,¡± he whispered, but his voice vibrated through her, ¡°Please, Gwen,¡± he said softly, ¡°I¡¯ve missed you so very much. Don¡¯t leave me!¡± Bonnie felt herself being knocked off. She suddenly felt tipsy again. She closed her eyes slowly. She knew she was only deceiving herself. Xavier loved Gwen and not her. And since they had the same face, it was convincing for him. . Bonnie opened her eyes again, she felt very much better now. She looked all around her at the strange room that was finally bing familiar. She rolled to the other side of the bed. She discovered she was still naked but the nket was covering her body. She was sure it was Xavier that had ced her on the bed. The heart-wrenching feeling she had earlier was gone. She didn¡¯t feel the clenched feeling of herself or she didn¡¯t yearn for something aside from getting justice for her parent. She sat up quickly and looked all around her. Something was definitely wrong somewhere. She pulled the nket aside and looked down at her core. It looked all swollen and reddish. She touched it slowly with a bit to arouse her feel like she was previously but nothing came. She only felt pain. Damn! She left heat already! The moon goddess actually heard her prayer and took her out of the heat. But she didn¡¯t even know what day she went into heat and the name of the day she got out of it. Though, it felt like a year to her. With Xavier around, time always slowed down. ¡°Is anyone out there?¡± She called and wrapped the nket around her when the door opened. Ady walked in, with a head bow, ¡°Yes Mistress, is there anything you want from me?¡± Bonnie nodded, ¡°What day is today?¡± ¡± Friday ma¡¯am.¡± ¡± Ok,¡± she looked away and thought of how to phrase her second question. She sighed and decided to ask the usual way, ¡°Do you know when I went into heat?¡± ¡°Wednesday evening ma¡¯am.¡± Bonnie¡¯s eyes went wide with shock. It wasn¡¯t even up to two days. Her heat day was the worst ever. But she was grateful for it. At least it means she wouldn¡¯t have Xavier force himself to please her. ¡°You can leave,¡± she dismissed her and got up. She felt a bit better to wash up. She walked inside the bathroom and stared at the strangeness of the room. Her eyes widened again when she realized the bathtub was nowhere to be found. Could she be dreaming? She used the bathtub the night before. Howe it was gone already? ¡°Mistress!¡± Elixir rushed in, screaming. Bonnie walked out of the bathroom, ¡°Is something wrong?¡± Elixir sobbed for another moment, ¡± I¡¯m so sorry Mistress.¡± Bonnie held skeptical brows as she watched her, ¡± What happened? Is everything alright?¡± Elixir gently shook her head, ¡°Your parent_,¡± she stopped and sobbed again. Bonnie took a step towards her and stopped again, something became stuck in her throat as she attempted to speak. She let in several airs before she tried again. ¡°What did you say happened to my parents?¡± Elixir looked up again, the tears dropping from her face in cascading order, ¡± They have been poisoned.¡± Bonnie¡¯s heart skipped a beat and the nket fell from her hand, revealing her naked body. Chapter 18: Strike a deal Bonnie felt her heart stop beating. She picked up the nket and made a move towards the door. ¡°Mistress?¡± Elixir called behind her. She didn¡¯t reply and pulled the door open. ¡°Mistress! You have to wear your clothes,¡± Elixir said with urgency, though she was still sobbing and the hint was in her voice. Bonnie stopped suddenly and looked back at her, ¡°Where are they?¡± Elixir looked away and sobbed the more, ¡± Xavier forbade anyone to attend to them. So, they are still in the prison.¡± ¡± What?¡± Bonnie felt her heart squeezed and the tears came down her eyes. She swallowed harder, ¡°where is Xavier?¡± Elixir fell to the floor and sobbed harder. ¡± Where is he, Elixir?¡± She screamed at her, anger seemed to have taken full control of her and her breathing wasing out in a rasp sounds, ¡°Take me to him! Now!¡± ¡°She doesn¡¯t need to,¡± a deep familiar voice said behind her, the hardness of it shook through her body. Bonnie looked at Xavier with hatred, ¡°Where are my parents?¡± Xavier smirked, ¡°Have you forgotten? You are Gwen and your parents are in the city. Boston, they are in Boston.¡± ¡± Don¡¯t you dare give me such!¡± She yelled at him. Her head was reeling, and her blood was boiling. The intensity could boil eggs. Xavier looked down at Elixir as he tried to lose his cuffs, ¡°Leave us now! And make sure no maids stay in front of my bedroom.¡± ¡± Yes Alpha,¡± Elixir shuttered, got up, and rushed outside. Xavier moved to the door and locked it. He turned to look at her again, ¡°Have you forgotten your promise?¡± ¡°Hell with promises! You broke your side of the promise and I will break mine as well.¡± Xavier chuckled, ¡± You seemed to be missing something here,¡± his eyes hardened and the smile was suddenly gone from his face. His face made her shudder. He took two strides towards her to fill in the space between them. Bonnie could scent him, the action causing a mixed feeling in her. ¡°Your parent wanted to die. They kidnapped my mate, refused to talk, and still had the gut to speak with the maid to poison them.¡± Bonnie¡¯s eyes went wide with shock, ¡± What are you talking about?¡± ¡± Oh,¡± he moved to stand behind her, ¡± It seemed like you didn¡¯t hear the full gist of the story. And you merely jumped to a conclusion?¡± He was so near that his clothes were making contact with the nket around her. ¡°We tortured the maid already and she confessed that your father told her to poison him so that you, his daughter could live. And now that, I decided to let him have his wish, you think I¡¯m breaking my promise?¡± Bonnie turned to look at him, with disbelief in her eyes, and her hands suddenly gripped the nket, ¡°My father would never do that. This isn¡¯t right.¡± Xavier moved away from her, ¡± You seemed to know so much about your father. Then you should know where my mate is.¡± Bonnie could feel the tears drop from her eyes, ¡± Please save my parents.¡± Xavier moved to the window, ¡°I will if he can tell me where Gwen is,¡± his voice was hard and well, harsh. ¡°Please. I will help you find Gwen. Please, just save my father.¡± He scoffed, ¡± I can¡¯t believe someone who lied to me.¡± Bonnie fell to her knees, ¡± Please,¡± she cried, ¡± I didn¡¯t lie to you. Please, save my parents and I will do anything you want me to do.¡± Xavier went silent as he continued to look out through the window, ¡°You broke your promise twice. You even tried to kill yourself yesterday. If I hadn¡¯te in, what would have happened? Or if someone saw you and informed your parent or Alpha Rowan?¡± Bonnie felt her mouth dry at his exnation. Well, initially, she hadn¡¯t wanted to die. It was something she didn¡¯t n. But she had wanted the moon goddess to answer her prayer. ¡°Please, I¡¯m begging you to forgive me and save my parents. I will be obedient, ¡°She beseeched softly, while still crying. She had wanted to find the main culprit but it was all for her parents. If something happened to them, Bonnie wasn¡¯t sure if she would be eager to live or walk on the dangerous path with him. Bonnie stood up slowly, the tears still dripping from her eyes. She felt ragged and a headache had set in but she had determination in her eyes. She looked up at Xavier¡¯s grey shirt. She wondered what he was looking at but she wasn¡¯t even a bit concerned with it. ¡°Fine, you will let them die?¡± Her voice went hard all of a sudden. The hardness in it forced Xavier to look at her, ¡°But don¡¯t forget that you won¡¯t be losing them alone, you will be losing me too.¡± He smirked, ¡± Are you threatening me?¡± He yelled, angrily. Bonnie swallow harder, ¡± No, I am not. I¡¯m just telling you the truth anyway. I will have no mission on earth if my parents are dead. What do you think I will be doing?¡± Xavier took three heavy strides to her, his face curled up into a dark frown, ¡°Don¡¯t you dare threaten me!¡± He gripped her hard by the neck and Bonnie struggled to breathe, ¡°Don¡¯t you dare try on my patient! I might as well kill you myself!¡± His eyes went red with rage. Bonnie smiled, ¡± Then do it,¡± she managed to say. Xavier threw her on the bed in the second instance. He almost forgot. Rowan was around and any mistake might mean war. Bonnie sat up on the bed, ¡°See,¡± sheughed, a sound of dirge, ¡°You can¡¯t afford to kill me. Now, watch this. I will kill myself the moment I hear the news of my parent¡¯s died.¡± Xavier clenched his teeth at her, ¡± You wouldn¡¯t dare!¡± Bonnie shook her head briefly, ¡°Don¡¯t try on my patient as well Xavier. I will do something once I set my mind to it.¡± Xavier¡¯s eyes widened. He wanted to do something, grab her and teach her a lesson but he knew the consequences even before it would happen. He turned around nheless, ¡°You won¡¯t be chanced to kill yourself. You will be locked up in here till further notice,¡± he touched the door to open but Bonnie¡¯s uncalled attitude pulled him to a stop. Bonnie wasughing as if he just cracked a joke. He turned to her again, skeptical.Content ? N?velDrama.Org. ¡°You seriously think that will stop me?¡± Bonnie became sober again, ¡± Have you forgotten Alpha Rowan will be leaving tomorrow? And I¡¯m going with him? Do you think I won¡¯t be able to kill myself then?¡± A faint smile was on her face, ¡± And that would be very much fun. Imagine me informing Rowan that I killed myself because of you? I imagine how fierce the war will be when I¡¯m gone,¡± she frowned, ¡°Perhaps you will have to join meter on.¡± ¡± Do you think I¡¯m scared of war?¡± ¡± Then why don¡¯t you leave the door open and let my n work.¡± Xavier regarded her for a moment before he released an exasperated sigh, ¡°What do you want? You want to make a deal with me?¡± ¡°Yes, save my parents and I will follow your n. In fact, I will help you to find your mate.¡± Xavier furrowed his brows, ¡± Fine! I will do that! But I¡¯m watching you and your father. You had better provide my mate or I will kill you all. Then you will know how much I¡¯m not scared about this!¡± He yelled and stormed out. Bonnie released the breath she didn¡¯t even know she was holding and the tears fell freely down her cheeks. Chapter 19: A spy Bonnie stood still for what seemed like moments after. She felt cold all of a sudden and she was just too weak to stand. The night seemed longer. A maid brought her dinner but she couldn¡¯t find Elixir anywhere. No matter how much she tried, she couldn¡¯t find Gwen. She didn¡¯t even know where she was supposed to look and how long she was supposed to look. The only person she suspected was Philip but she was going to the city soon and wouldn¡¯t even be able to investigate him. The thought of it caused headaches throughout the night. She wondered also if her parents had survived. She closed her eyes eventually but when she reopened them, it was already seven in the morning. It actually looked like she didn¡¯t get a wink of sleep the night before. She turned on the bed, just as a knock sounded on the door. ¡°Yes,e in,¡± she said and the door opened. A new face walked in with a tray of food. She bowed and ced it on the dresser. She stepped back and waited for orders from her. Bonnie regarded her for a while. She wasn¡¯t at all familiar to her, ¡°What¡¯s your name?¡± ¡°Mercury,¡± her soft voice said and bowed her head the most. Bonnie stared at the tray, then she remembered her parents. She looked up at Mercury again, ¡°What_,¡± she stopped quickly as she remembered she wasn¡¯t supposed to let anyone know she wasn¡¯t Gwen, ¡°You can leave, she said instead.¡± Bonnie stood from the bed. She took a step but fell back quickly. Just before she could collide with the floor, she found soft arms holding her back. She looked up at Mercury and remembered Xavier. It was wrong to think about him but Bonnie couldn¡¯t even help it. Xavier was her mate after all. Mercury carefully steadied her on the ground. ¡°Are you alright?¡± Bonnie nodded, unable to speak. Her throat felt patchy and sour. She took another step towards the bathroom. Her steps felt like she was walking on knives but that was actually what was happening to her. Mercury stood behind her and helped her into the bathroom. The bath cubicle was absent so she took a shower and returned to the bed. Mercury got her a red dress which she slipped on before she returned to sleep on the bed. Mercury regarded her for a moment. ¡°Aren¡¯t you going to eat?¡± Bonnie¡¯s eyes were closed. ¡°I¡¯m not hungry. Take it away or eat it.¡± ¡± But, you weren¡¯t even able to eat during your heat. It will be best if you regain your strength soon. And well, the Alpha wouldn¡¯t like it.¡± Bonnie took in another harsh breath. She remembered the deal she made with Xavier. She was supposed to act like everything was normal or it might cost her parents¡¯ life. Just how was she going to find Gwen so she would be free again? She sat up at once when the door creaked open. Mercury hurried to take the tray. She ced it before her on the bed as Xavier walked inside the room, his sharp gaze drilling holes everywhere. ¡°Is there anything else you might like?¡± ¡°No, you can leave,¡± Bonnie muttered, with head bowed towards the food. She tried her best to eat the pancakes but they wouldn¡¯t even pass through her throat. It felt painful pushing them down forcefully. ¡°Leave us!¡± Xavier¡¯s deep voice made Bonnie quiver. There was a soft m of the door and Bonnie knew she was alone with the Alpha. The room had suddenly grown smaller. With Xavier¡¯s presence, everything seemed to quiver in fear. Maybe it was because he was the Alpha. Or it was because he was her mate, she really couldn¡¯t tell. ¡°Rowan is leaving tomorrow morning and you are looking this dead?¡± His voice was raised above normal, the intensity making her shiver. ¡°I¡¯m sorry. I will be fine by tomorrow,¡± she mumbled without looking up. She must avoid his gaze at all cost. He moved to the window as usual. It was as if something was interesting him outside the window. He was always watching whenever he pulled the curtain aside. This material belongs to N?velDrama.Org. ¡°This window actually shows me everything that enters the pce,¡± he started after some minutes of silence. ¡± I¡¯m always looking for my mate. I¡¯m expecting her toe in at any moment and if that happens, you will have to excuse us,¡± he stressed deliberately. Though, Bonnie didn¡¯t understand why he would do such a thing. Unless he knew that she was his mate. Well, there was no way he wouldn¡¯t feel the mate bond. Or maybe not! Bonnie couldn¡¯t really tell. ¡°And,¡± he finally turned to Bonnie again. ¡°if that doesn¡¯t happen in a week¡¯s time. Then, I will have no choice but to prepare for war. I¡¯m going to kill your parents, then you. Then, you will know how much I¡¯m not scared of war.¡± Bonnie swallowed harder on the lump that had suddenly formed in her throat. She heard anyways of his nightly. Xavier wasn¡¯t the type to fail at war. He was a man of valiant and valor. He would surely win the war, she was sure of it. ¡°May I ask you a question?¡± She said softly but still didn¡¯t look up. Xavier didn¡¯t answer but she continued anyway. ¡°Do you truly trust the men in your court? Do you truly trust the people you called yours? How did you know one hasn¡¯t betrayed you?¡± ¡°What is that supposed to mean?¡± Bonnie looked up and met his gaze. ¡± It means you have the wrong person. The person that kidnapped Gwen is part of the court.¡± ¡± Are you trying to talk your way out of this?¡± He smirked. ¡± That wouldn¡¯t work. Just try to talk your father into revealing the truth about where my mate is.¡± Bonnie looked away. ¡± How am I supposed to speak with him when I¡¯m not even allowed to see him? He doesn¡¯t even know I¡¯m alive.¡± Xavier zoomed before her. ¡± Are you trying to y me?¡± He screamed, annoyed. Bonnie shuddered uncontrobly. ¡°I don¡¯t know what you are trying to say,¡± she stammered. Xavier felt a surge of anger. He held her by the neck and his nails ducked deep into her fresh. ¡°Are you fucking trying to y me!¡± He watched Bonnie fight for air and eventually let her go. He regarded her for a moment. ¡°just speak with your father! Well, he wouldn¡¯t be surprised on seeing you since he¡¯s already aware that you are his Bonnie.¡± Bonnie¡¯s eyes went wide with shock. The first thing her mind went to was how he knew. She remembered that it was only her and Elixir that went to the dungeon that day. How the fuck then did the Alpha know about it? Xavier smirked again. ¡°Surprise? Do you sincerely think you are safe in the pce?¡± He turned around and walked out. Bonnie touched her hurting neck as the marks healed up. Her mind went to Elixir instantly. It seemed to her like Elixir had betrayed her. Chapter 20: The trusted has betrayed Bonnie¡¯s heart increased its beat as she stared amazingly at the door. Why hadn¡¯t she ced the pieces together? Elixir was the only one allowed to give her parents food. Bonnie specifically instructed her parents not to ept food from anyone. So, it was Elixir that poisoned her parents. But the reason why she would do it was what confused her the most. Elixir was someone that she had started to trust. And she was even the first person she confided in. Bonnie felt a stab in the stomach as she raced towards the door. When she opened the door, She saw Mercury speaking with a maid. Bonnie let her dismiss her before she moved closer. ¡°Where¡¯s Elixir?¡± ¡°I sincerely don¡¯t know. I heard she was the one serving you. Suddenly, I was asked toe here. Is there anything you need? I could do it for you.¡± Bonnie stared at her for a moment, as she contemted what to do. ¡°Can you help me find Elixir¡¯s whereabouts?¡± Mercury nodded. ¡± I will also be around,¡± she took a short bow and walked away. Bonnie went back inside, feeling uneasy. She couldn¡¯t even finish her food. She kept moving to and fro while waiting for Mercury. She couldn¡¯t stop feeling a wrenching pain in the depth of her heart and the fact that she was betrayed by someone she trusted. It took almost forever before the door opened and Mercury walked in. She took a short bow. ¡°I¡¯ve found her. She was the maid that poisoned Brook and his wife.¡± Bonnie¡¯s eyes went wide and dark with shock. For a moment, she couldn¡¯t even bring herself to talk. Shock kept her motionless and speechless for a moment. She couldn¡¯t just ce it. Elixir was the maid she instructed to always give her family food so they wouldn¡¯t be poisoned but she was the one that ended up poisoning them? ¡°Lead the way!¡± She said finally. ¡°I want to speak with her.¡± Mercury walked out of the room and she followed quickly, with a pounding heart. Her hands were vibrating and she held her clothes so tight with them. They walked for some minutes before they took a turn just opposite the dungeon where her parents were used to staying in. From afar, Bonnie stared at Elixir curled up on the floor. ¡°Stay back,¡± she instructed Mercury and moved closer to Elixir. On seeing her, Elixir stood up and grabbed the cell bar. ¡°Luna.¡± Bonnie regarded her for a moment. ¡°Why are you here? Why did you poison them?¡± Her voice shook with tremor to it. Elixir closed her eyes against the tears but they came streaming down her face. ¡°I¡¯m so sorry. I should have let you know about it. But they made me promise them. I was not supposed to say a word.¡± Bonnie blinked once, Unable toprehend what she was saying. ¡°What are you saying Elixir! I don¡¯t understand. Why will my parents want you to kill them? Why would they force you to stay quiet,¡± Bonnie sobbed quietly. Elixir opened her eyes and shook her head slightly. ¡± Brook told me it was to save you. If he died, you would be free from being threatened by the Alpha. They made me promise to poison them and I wasn¡¯t supposed to tell you.¡± Bonnie stared for a while as different things went through her mind. Why would her parents want to die to save her? Didn¡¯t they know that death was actually going to take her? Aside from that, it was unlike her parents to make such a rash decision. Bonnie sucked in a breath as tears broke free from her eyes. She felt tired already. There were a lot of things she wished she could understand but the answers eluded her. The world doesn¡¯t even lookpromising to her. She hung her head against the bar and sobbed silently. Amidst it, she could hear Elixir¡¯s sobs as well. But she still found it difficult to trust her. What was she supposed to do? Then, she remembered the one the Alpha had told her. Bonnie looked up at Elixir and watched the tears stream down her face as well. Elixir¡¯s face actually spoke of innocence and Bonnie wondered if she was using her wrongly already. ¡°Elixir,¡± she took her hand into hers. ¡°I¡¯m sorry this had to happen to you. I¡¯m sorry for putting you into my trouble.¡± ¡± It¡¯s ok,¡± she tried to smile. ¡± I will do anything for you anyways.¡± Bonnie nodded, with a satisfied smile. ¡°Thanks. But,¡± she stopped briefly and settled on how she was supposed to say it. ¡°Is there anything you are hiding from me? We are alone now. You can tell me.¡± Elixir blinked once, ¡± Something like what?¡± Bonnie rubbed her hand slowly. ¡°Anything. Something that is supposed to be between us.¡± ¡°Oh,¡± she nodded suddenly and Bonnie smiled. If Elixir would tell her that, then she would continue to trust her. Elixir pulled her hand away from her slowly and withdrew a note from her bra. She stretched it towards Bonnie. ¡°Brook knew he was going to die and told me to give you this.¡± Bonnie furrowed her bows at the note. Her father left something for her? She took the note slowly and looked up at Elixir again. She realized after a moment that Elixir wasn¡¯t going to tell her anything else. But she couldn¡¯t judge anyway if that alone could make her a betrayal. ¡°I will check up on you again,¡± she smiled at Elixir and stood to leave. She stopped slightly and looked back again. She remembered what the Alpha had said. Bonnie was amid the enemies. There was seriously not going to be someone she could trust. Anyone could actually plot against her. Anyone could even be working with the person that kidnapped the Luna. Bonnie didn¡¯t understand it at first but the more she lived in the pack house, the wiser she got. She walked to Mercury. ¡°Let¡¯s go!¡¯ she boomed and grabbed her clothes so hard that it won¡¯t show she was holding a note. They both walked back to Xavier¡¯s room but soldiers were waiting for her already. The moment she got to the front of the door, two men walked out of the room. ¡°Seize her!¡± One of the men said and lots of soldiers proceeded towards her before she could blink. One took her by the right, while the other by the left. Bonnie watched them, unable to grasp what was really happening. The men walked closer to her. Bonnie recognized one of the men to be Stephen but the other was a face she had never seen. Stephen regarded her for a moment before he slowly pulled up her left hand. A gasp escaped Bonnie when she remembered the note she was holding by her right fist. ¡°What the fuck are you doing!¡± She yelled, angrily. Stephen didn¡¯t answer her and instead, unclenched her fist to reveal nothing. He then proceeded to grab the right hand. Bonnie struggled hard but she was no match. Her traitorous heart hammered wildly in her chest. She didn¡¯t even know what was in the note. How could it be used to bring her down? And that was when she remembered Elixir. Undeniably, Elixir was the betrayal. She was a spy. This material belongs to N?velDrama.Org. Chapter 21: A long time friend Stephen unclenched Bonnie¡¯s right hand and they both stared. At first, Bonnie was shocked as she remembered holding the note in her hand but it was suddenly gone. She regained herposure and looked up at Stephen. ¡°What the fuck are you looking for? What is happening?¡± Stephen¡¯s face went into shock and he tried to conceal it. It was as if he wasn¡¯t expecting what he saw. He cleared his throat meaningfully. ¡°I¡¯m sorry but we got information that you were with an incriminating note. I¡¯m sorry for the inconvenience.¡± Bonnie shook free from the soldiers and feigned annoyance. ¡± Are you normal? What do you mean by an incriminating note? Who the fuck sent you here?¡± Stephen looked away. ¡± I¡¯m sorry,¡± then he looked away. ¡± Let¡¯s go.¡± And before Bonnie could say another word, Stephen was already walking away with the rest of the men. Bonnie slowly released the breath she didn¡¯t even know she was holding. She was grateful that they didn¡¯t see the note with her, yet she wondered where she had dropped it. Her heart skipped at the fact that the note might have dropped in her hand on her way. But what if someone else had taken it? She managed to walk back inside the room and her legs threatened to break under her. Her heart was still pounding madly in her chest and a headache had suddenly set in. ¡°Who the fuck are you?¡± A soft voice sounded behind her suddenly. Bonnie looked back at Mercury and her skeptical gaze. ¡°What do you mean?¡± Mercury turned around and opened the door. She stretched her head out for a moment and soon closed the door. She took a step closer to Bonnie. ¡°You¡¯re not Luna, you are not Gwen. Who the fuck are you?¡± Bonnie¡¯s lips quivered. ¡± What the fuck are you saying? Are you trying to look down on me?¡± Mercury regarded her for a moment. ¡± Then I should have handed the note to Stephen the other time.¡± Bonnie went gobsmacked again. ¡± What note!¡± ¡± The note you took from Elixir. I saw you and well, it dropped from you and I picked it up. I¡¯ve also read the content. It¡¯s really incriminating. If Stephen had found it on you, you would have been gone.¡± Bonnie blinked once, then twice. She went incoherent for a moment, unable to believe her eyes or her ears. It was actually Mercury that had saved her? Bonnie let out a sigh finally. ¡°Why didn¡¯t you hand it over?¡± ¡°Because,¡± she stretched out the note. ¡°You were about to get killed, whatever you are.¡± Bonnie blinked again, skeptical but she took the note from her. ¡± You saved me because you knew I would be killed if I was caught with it? But why?¡± ¡± I work in good faith. I don¡¯t have a master but I follow what¡¯s right. And it seemed like someone is ying this part and you are definitely one of the characters that will die in the movie, if care isn¡¯t taken,¡± she exined with a straight face. Bonnie regarded her for a moment. ¡°Thank you,¡± she looked away again. ¡°I guess I should tell you who I am as a payback for saving my life,¡± she sucked in breathe and looked up again, to meet Mercury¡¯s gaze. ¡°I¡¯m not Gwen, I¡¯m Bonnie.¡± It was Mercury¡¯s turn to be surprised. ¡°Bonnie? But how?¡± ¡°My father was framed and I was supposed to step in as Gwen before she was found,¡± she sobbed silently. It wasn¡¯t because she wanted Mercury to pity her, it was because she didn¡¯t even know what to do. Mercury took another step closer. ¡°Bonnie? You,¡± her voice went off for a moment. ¡± You don¡¯t remember me? Mercury, when we were twelve years old?¡± Bonnie¡¯s eyes thinned on her as she tried to remember something. Was there any Mercury she knew? ¡°It¡¯s a lion!¡± A tiny voice screamed in her head suddenly and Bonnie saw an image disyed in front of her. She saw her young self, staring at the lion. ¡°I¡¯m scared. I don¡¯t want to die,¡± another young girl sobbed. She was on the floor, just opposite the lion. The lion was watching her as if deciding on how to attack her. Bonnie took out her little fireworks and quickly set it on fire. The fireworks exploded in the air and she looked back at the lion. The lion crouched for a moment and suddenly advanced closer to the young girl. Bonnie leaped forward and caught the lion. The lion took her instead and pinned her to the floor. It roared and moved his face closer to her body. Suddenly, it was yanked away from Bonnie and a loud howl filled the air. ¡°Dad!¡± Bonnie smiled happily and raced back to the girl. ¡°Are you ok? My dad is here already. He will save us.¡± The girl looked up at Bonnie with a bright smile. ¡± Thank you.¡± ¡°What¡¯s your name? I¡¯m Bonnie,¡± the carefree girl introduced with a wide smile. ¡°I¡¯m Mercury,¡± the second girl reciprocated her smile. * And the images extended further but Bonnie was quick to jerk back to reality as she pulled Mercury into a bear hug. ¡°It has been a long time!¡¯ Mercury said as she hugged her back. She suddenly pulled back to look at Bonnie again. ¡°But what, does this mean that it was your father that got poisoned?¡± Bonnie nodded sadly. This content ? 2024 N?velDrama.Org. ¡± But howe. Why did the Alpha use you guys of something like that?¡± Bonnie sobbed quietly. ¡± I wish I knew. The only thing I can pick up right now is the fact that I can¡¯t trust Elixir now. Something tells me she has already betrayed me.¡± Mercury raised skeptical brows at her. ¡± Does she know who you truly are?¡± Bonnie nodded and spread the note to check what was on it. She read; I¡¯m sorry Bonnie but I was truly the one that killed Gwen. I thought you could have a nice life like that. And it was also a way to get back at Xavier. I will kill myself. So, you are supposed to pretend you are Gwen. You can get out of the pce and return as Gwen. Then, everything will be fine. And you will be fine.¡± Bonnie¡¯s mouth went open in shock. She doesn¡¯t even believe it! Why would her father write such a note! Why would he? ¡°What the fuck is happening here?¡± A thick voice jerked Bonnie out of the thoughts she was about to put herself in. She vibrated slightly and needed no one to tell her who it was. The note was still in her hand as she stared at Xavier. The Novel will be updated first on this website. Come back and continue reading tomorrow, everyone!
