I wonder who is that unlucky guy who will die this time," speaks Algos as he smirks at Celtic. Celtic ignores him and speaks,"call my servant." Aldos sighs as he answers, "all right, even if you are lucky, this should fetch you another 50years or so." Soon another grey robed young man comes. The young man gets closer to Celtic and Celtic speaks something to him. The other man''s eyes widens. "But master, he won''t forgive us. And he won''t like this at all. You know how he was back then," speaks the other man terrified. "Just do it. I don''t have a choice or else I would have never suggested this," Celtic speaks in a tensed voice. Looking at the exchange, Aldos'' interest piques. The young man then turns to Aldos, "Please, give me permission to say sorry to him, its not against the rules," he pleads. Clearly he looks scared. Aldos stares at the man for a few seconds before speaking, "it will cost you a 100years of life as payment. But I must warn, if you give him any crucial information or helped him in anyway, your lifeforce will be immediately sucked out by the federation." The young man sighs in relief then bows and leaves the area. Aldos looks at Celtic then shakes his head before leaving. After he left, Celtic''s expression changes from nonchalant to nervous, "Aether, I am sorry. I hope you can understand that I have no choice but to do it. Please...please..." One of them is bowing while the other one looks like he is trying his hardest to stop the other from doing so. Her rectangular glasses bring out the true beauty of her navy blue eyes. Wearing a white dress she looks like an angel. But for Aether, she looks like an angel of death who will punish him for the crime he has committed today. Music can be heard from the room and someone speaking rather loudly can be heard too. He knocks loudly. "Who is it?" someone asks from the inside. The sound of the talking suddenly comes to a halt. "It''s me," Aether answers. Silence prevails for a few moments "And?" the same person cynically soeaks. ''I must speak the right words,'' Aether thinks as he speaks,"sorry dear...daddy didn''t forget. Nope, he just took more time to select the best gift for you." "And?" Asks Aisha with an emotionless voice. "And he decided it won''t happen again..." continues Aether. "Promise...?" Asks Ayesha innocently. "Promise," replies Aether. *click The door opens... An 11 years old girl with similar features to Elain comes out of the room. Aether gets on his knees and hugs his daughter, "Happy birthday sweetheart....it was difficult to choose between so many things, at last I decided to get you this. I hope you like it," says Aether with anticipation. Aether gives the gift pack to his daughter. She quickly opens the gift and finds the latest smartphone which was launched a few days earlier. Looking at her expression, she likes it. Her smile is as wide as it can get. "Thank you," she says with a joyous expression and hugs Aether. " Love you, daddy," she says. "Love you too sweetheart," replies Aether. Soon Elain joins the party, a tray of chocolate shakes in tow. A few grey robed men stand in a circle as they start chanting around a Clate covered with a purple paper. Soon a bright light shines and moves toward Aether''s direction and hit him. Lighting up the area, a bright arrow of light darts to the sky. "A storm is coming in the world of Visca," one of them speaks as he watches the light moving. "A storm indeed," the others answer with slight fear in their eyes. Then they vanish from the sky as if they never existed. . . . The light soon reaches Visca. After an unknown amount of time. Corey looks the same as Light except for his bluish black hair like his mother and a damn lot cuter because of something called ''more mana means more body purification'' which made his face as clean as possible making him look like a new doll bought from the market. Chase is...well, your damn hot neighbourhood playboy cause ''more aura means more body recombination'' which made his face more manly than what an eight-year-old''s face should be. "Corey, Chase and Light. Instructors of Aura Arts and Magic Arts will be coming today. They will be teaching you for the next four years. You may be geniuses but it doesn''t mean you don''t need to work hard. In the future, you will meet people who will be more talented than you, so don''t ever get arrogant. Be more absorbent. She even grabbed Corey''s shoulder and almost hugged him but Corey who is intimidated by her stops her from doing so. ''Interesting,'' Light thinks as he observes Samantha. Samantha is beautiful. She has a good proportional body and looks roughly around 21 years in age. She has a white face with black hair that is tied into a ponytail down to her waist. She also has that dangerous vibe of *don''t get close to me without my permission* so *difficult to approach* type of person. The other one who is wearing a red robe observes Chase, then, "I am Theoder, alias The Bullfighter. Chase, you are mine from now on", said Theoder while looking at Chase like he found his new toy. ''I should stay away from him,'' Light thinks as he watches Theoder. Theoder is Muscular.... a very very muscular kinda guy...but gives off a cool and approachable vibe. His face is okayish with a dark complexion. They are all getting friendly among themselves so Light approaches them, "Um...what about me?", He says already expecting to be ignored but still asked anyway "Huh?" Theoder. "Huh?" Samantha. "Huh?" Light looks dumbfounded at their reaction. Chapter 4 - Triplet Brothers(2) Aether is a Genius. He wasn''t always one though. He had a talent for Human physiology and its related applications. But the main reason he is qualified to be called a Genius is because he worked hard for that. When he was a child his mother had an accident. She was bedridden for life. The doctor said,'' science hasn''t developed enough to cure her.'' At that moment, something clicked in his mind and he made up his mind to cure his mother. He chose the path of self-improvement. He worked hard to improve his mental abilities. Reading, learning, analysing, thinking, thought processing, etc. He worked hard on everything. And soon his hard work manifested blooming his potential. The result? He can now think 1000times faster and analyse 100times better than a normal person. At least that''s what the public knew. But in reality, he had gained a superhuman ability of sort. After slow breathing and meditating for a few seconds, he can enter a lucid dream like state where everything was in his control. He looks very eager as he observes Chase with a piercing gaze. Chase takes a step back making Theoder chuckle silently. "First Corey", says Samantha with twice the anticipation that Theoder is showing. She is concentrating on Corey so hard that if gazes can hurt, her gaze might have already penetrated his body. "This blue sphere measures your mana potential. Place your hands and channel mana into the sphere," instructs Samantha to Corey. Her eyes are urging him to do it asap. ''Why does she look like a girl receiving a birthday gift and excited to open it?'' Thinks Light. Corey places his hand on the blue sphere and it shines brightly, then a number appears in the sphere. Light sits at a distance away from them and starts listening to their conversation without disturbing them. For the next few hours the lecture continues, To put it in simple terms 1.Magicules are something present in this World that makes magic possible. Today they are going to learn how to store magicules in their body and artifacts. Artifacts are special devices that can store magicules in them and can be easily utilised. For aura users, they store the magicules in their body proportional to how much their capacity is, which differs from person to person and roughly increases 1 to 20% based on one''s potential every year. Magic-users can control magicules in their surroundings based on their ability and potential. Their ability increases 20%every year and so does the distance and amount of magicules they can utilise. Artifacts provide an immediate way to replenish the number of magicules they have spent and are necessary for magic users to bring out their full potential. Without artifacts, magic users can still use magicules from the surroundings but the power would be 75% lesser than that of power with artifact. Chapter 7 - Corey Eros NEXT MORNING AT 8:00AM LIGHT''S POV: Reaching the training area, I see Corey and Theoder standing in front of each other. I look around to see Chase and Stephan standing and observing them. I turn back to the fight, ''[Absolute Concentration: Mana Circuit: God''s Eyes]'' I channel mana into my eyes. -Time slows- 0.1s Corey channels mana in his fists, creating gauntlets of water, covering his fists. He also creates 8 football sized floating spheres around him. 0.2s He dashes forward, creating his clone while doing so. Hiding himself in an illusion he commands his clone to attack Theoder. 0.3s He fires the water spheres at Theoder and circle around him. 0.4s Before the spheres can touch Theoder, he smashes all of them with his fist in an instant. 0.5s Theoder then kicks Corey''s clone destroying it, creating a splash. He smiles as the clone dissipates. 0.4s Corey runs toward Theoder to hit him, also creating a sphere behind Theoder. 0.5s As Corey reaches closer, Theoder prepares for a kick. But before he can kick, the water sphere hits his head. 0.6s Theodor kicks Corey on his chest pushing him away. 1s Corey falls back but then slowly stands up. "Haah...I won," He says with difficulty as he stands up. "Yeah," said Theoder a bit surprised but still smiling at Corey. Corey smiles in return. Glancing at Corey, even though he is smiling, to me he looks hurt and scared. Everyone starts clapping making Corey flustered as he looks down with his smile getting deeper. ''Now, he is smiling for real.'' I also smile as I look at him. COREY''S POV: ''He is a monster,'' I think as I look at Theoder, smiling outside and shuddering inside. ''I couldn''t even see him properly attacking my spheres, if I had been a bit late, it would be already over'' I recall back the fight which sends a chill down my spine. Then I look at Chase. ''I wonder how Chase would fare.'' He looks like he is in a daze. ''Normally, he would have jumped to talk to me. I wonder what happened?'' Everyone is clapping for me. ''This is embarresing'','' I mutter as I lower my head. But... It''s exciting...to grow stronger and to be able to do all that. ''Will Chase be able to do that someday?'' Well, I would have had more confidence if gauntlets were allowed but for some reason we aren''t allowed to use any form of weapon or artifact whatsoever. I close the distance as fast as I can. The first lesson I lear about the fight between a Mana user and an Aura user was that distance creates a wide gap between win or loss in these form of battles. 5meteres . 3metres . 1metre As soon as I reached close I did a 360¡ã kick at her face while enhancing my foot with aura. Being proficient at gauntlets and kicks helped me learn some hand to hand combats too. It was especially because I might need them in case I lack weapons someday. Enhancement of my foot with Aura will create a fast moving attack that will have at least 4 times more effective power than that of a normal kick. -BANG I feel something hitting against my kick, looking carefully I find that my kick got in contact with....a barrier? ''I must attack again myself before she captures me with mana.'' I kick at her stomach, which again hits a barrier. Having no other opening for further attack, I jump back that create a distance between us. ''All right, I can''t do it half-heartedly. Let''s use full power with the next one, even if it hurts a little it will be worth it,'' I think as I jump high enough in the air...it is a 10m hight so I have roughly one moment to strike. Let''s give it our all. Positioning myself in the air and applying Aura to my leg or to be honest, overloading my elf with aura I prepare for the attack. Samantha looks a bit surprised. Well, that gives me some motivation to attack. ''All right I won''t look bad now,'' sighing in relief I felt much better now than I was when this fight started. Then I along with the momentum of my fall with proper positioning I attack her as hard as possible. -BANG A shield broke as it hit my feet. -BANG Another one broke. -BANG Another one. -BANG This time I felt something something colliding with my feet before my feet stops. ''Huh?'' I look at her only to find my feet hitting her face. Even though it collided with such impact, it doesn''t seem to have any effect on her. Looking at their behaviour on how they are trying their best to get the attention of the instructors I couldn''t help but chuckle. Well, let''s try to preserve their childhood for as long as possible. I stand up and move towards our library to study about the history and area of the world we live in. There isn''t much left to learn but still lets see if we can find anything new there. I did order a few more books to be provided there.I hope I can find some answers regarding the superpowers of this world and the max limit which humanity has achieved in this era and the other races that dwell too. Watching their fight reminds me of, Julia, their mother. As a father there is nothing greater than watching their children getting successful. Well, at least he has a way to survive in this cruel world. He is a good child, he doesn''t do anything wrong and asks properly if he needs anything anytime. Population:4Billion(84%Humans) There are various races-mainly Elves, orcs, demons, devils, etc. Each race has at least 2Kingdom each. Each race had its specific race trait. Elves have high mana Orcs have high Physical strength Demons use something called demon energy. Devils use sacrifices, generally of monsters, to gain their energy. etc The whole continent is not yet explored but the part explored is roughly 3-4 times of present earth continent size combined. 13dungeons are present in this world, only 1 conquered by demons. other than devils no other race is openly against anyone but there is always friction amongst races I''ll recollect the rest later . 8:30 AM Coming back to the present, I live in an east-west corner of Sol kingdom, literally. Beyond the corner is the Solaris ocean and beyond the Ocean is the Kingdom of wind fairies-Zephyrus. we have a neutral stance with the fairies who generally doesn''t allow outsiders to enter in there. The town name is Eros town and it is big and city like but the structures look a bit old. There are carts and other various automobiles along with horses, etc. Magic and aura are used by common people on a day to day basis. . Races like mermaids and mermen are common near the shore...you can see a few Elves too and orcs adventure walking around, and a few beastmen too. "Atmosphere is quite lovely though", I muttered as I walked along within the market. Slavery is open to anyone but kidnapping someone against their will is forbidden and if you got into trouble with some big shot, you are on your own. Corey spread out with his 2 clones and surrounded Chases. Chase muttered''[Aura arts:Flash steps], . 0.23s Chase ran towards the rightmost illusion and kicked it. Meanwhile, Corey who somehow lucked out by his brothers previous failed gamble moved towards his brothers back, used a fire sphere and attacked Chase at neck point. -BANG Chase strengthened his back by instinct but looks like it wasn''t enough. . 0.5s Corey won . 1s clap, clap, clap everyone started clapping, especially the guests who looked surprised including the young b- miss. ''so they are not going all out from the beginning'', I thought looking at the kids'' brawl . 0.2s Both Chase and Anna ran towards each other and Corey surrounded 6 Spheres protecting Chase and 6 attacking Anna . 0.3s The spheres hit the shurikens each taking out one, leaving 2 shurikens in the end. . 0.4s Chase ran towards the gap created by the outcome and attacked one of the shields. The shield cracked but didn''t break. meanwhile, Anna dissolved her cracked shield at the exact moment and punched at Chase at the exact moment. . 0.5s Corey covered the punch area by creating 2 shields from the Sphere. both the shield broke from the punch. Corey sneaked another sphere from behind and attacked Anna while she was focusing on Chase . 0.6s Chase extra hardened his front to brace the impact and prepare for the next move Anna cast invisibility on one shuriken and threw at Corey while another divided into two. She joined the other two shields, removing the gap from which the spheres were coming. She then changed the target from his head to his stomach within a blink. . 0.7s The Shuriken hit Corey and disrupted his mana flow knocking him out The shield stopped the water sphere. The most common way is to chant. Chanting is not necessary in the general case at all but you need above 75%concentration and you must know what you want magicules to do both mentally, physically and spiritually to do chantless magic. Without a chant, if the concentration is not at 100% its power decreases by a fraction of 5% and further decreases as concentration decreases. The other way is readymade spells which are present in an Artifact..mainly circles and runes. There are unorthodox magic users present of various types which cannot be categorised either in magic or aura. Examples would be necromancy, glass magic, pearl magic, spirit magic, summoning magic, space Magic, etc There are various ways of enhancing magic and aura chants and each enhancement may or may not produce new or desired results. A collection of chants is known as mantras which can also be called great spells. Each great spell can cause drastic changes in surrounding from rain to destruction anything is possible. The spells like rain and other non-harmful spells are property of Kingdom and differ due to racial differences, they also require high understanding, control and magicule channelling to perform. The spells that cause a large amount of distractions are known as forbidden spells and have the same property as non-lethal spells except they are lethal. Hence, they are forbidden to use by anyone. But at the higher hierarchy, there are always mages with one or two forbidden spells in their arsenal. Also, there are non-harmful but stagnant spells like time dilation which are forbidden for the general public without authorisation but available at higher levels.
