《Eternal Darkness: Reincarnated with A Star Wars System》 1 Chapter 1 ReWritten At the beginning of my life after college, I was a successful businessman. I owned a company so large and successful that very few companies could rival mine. Well, It was successful... I had a loving wife and daughter they were the only thing in my life I truly cared about... but one day while they were walking on the street a hit and run occurred and they both died before reaching a hospital. After a week of investigating, the cops suddenly barged into my mansion yelling "We caught you, you bastard you killed your own family!" I had no clue what was happening... the cops claimed that I organized a hit and run on my wife and child... the only ones I cared about in all the world. In court, they showed images of me with people I don''t recall ever seeing before with audio of me asking how much money they needed to accept the job. I started feeling like this entire court is trying their hardest to set me up to be guilty... but that when I noticed as I was looking over at the jury... every one of the people in the jury was people in my company that I fired. My heart sank and the judge as if "coming into the light" nodded his head like he made a decision and he said the words I did not want to hear. "Silence! The jury has come to a decision with a unanimous vote that Lucifer Caebic is found guilty of murder. He is sentenced to death via lethal injection." I was sentenced to death via lethal injection for crimes I did not commit. I was stuck in prison for 2 years then put to death for crimes that I did not do. For those two years during free time I was allowed to read books on the library computer for "Good Behaviour" so for the 2 years I decided to read a classic from my childhood Star Wars. I read through all the lore possible from the Star Wars universe and to be honest, If I were to describe myself, it would be that I have always preferred the Sith over the Jedi. The Sith have more freedom than the Jedis. The Sith followed a code just like the Jedi, they followed Darth Bane''s Code of the Sith. Darth Bane''s code is "Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me." After 2 Years of waiting for my time to come, it was finally the day in which I would die. During my time in prison, I befriended each and every guard. When I had only one day left until my death, every one of those guards visited me in their free time to say goodbye. Some even had faint amounts of water forming in their eyes. On the day of my death, The Guards that overseed my death were none other than one of my friends, he had clear hesitation on his face hinting that he did not want to be in any way involved with my death. "It is okay my friend. It is my time. I understand that you are hesitant to kill me, but just know that I would rather have you, my friend, kill me instead of someone else." All of my friends turned away upon seeing me being injected with a needle. As my vision darkened I said aloud with the last of the strength within me "Good...bye...My...Friends." After my death, I thought I would simply stop existing, but instead, I simply floated within an endless abyss. I do not know how long I was in this void of nothingness. Mabye I have been here for days? Mabye months or even years. While going over my memories of my life a voice that sounded old and broken entered my ears. "Do you wish to leave?" I floated there in the abyss looking around myself for that...voice. Enough time passed to where I could no longer bear sitting in this abyss and I answered hoping the voice was still with me. "Do you accept the conditions of the contract?" the voice asked me. I did not know what it was asking and when I asked what It meant it only repeated its question to me. So, I accept. "Than the contract is set, happy hunting." Upon hearing him my senses vanished and I could no longer stay conscious. -------------------------- When I awoke I was in a forest, I could hear the chirps of birds and the howls of wolves. I could feel the solid ground! I could feel the effect of gravity on my body! I was ecstatic due to this wonderful feeling, but that feeling quickly disappeared due to not having any clothes. The forest was peaceful and beautiful nothing like earth in the slightest on earth most forests were ruined by human hands, entire ecosystems destroyed just so someone could make a bigger profit. They did not care if they made a species go extinct. It disgusted me to the point that I made a company completely built on artificial products... just so we did not have to destroy earth more than we already have. All of my thoughts were disrupted by a voice neither feminine or manly. ''Welcome Host, I am the Star Wars system. Do you wish to hear my current functions?'' "Who said that?! Where are you?!" ''Calm down Host, I am currently located within your soul.'' "What?...My soul? What are you talking about?" ''My creator placed me inside your soul to help you fulfill your contract.'' "What contract?! It never even told me its terms!" ''That is your problem, not my creators.'' "Ah...Fine, tell me of your uses." ''I am outfitted with a Level/Stat system, Inventory system, System shop, and Quest System.'' "So you are like a game system?" ''If that is what you want to think of me as.'' ''You have a starter crate available as well as a Starter Mission. Do you wish to open the crate?" 2 Chapter 2 ReWritten "Before you give me the starter crate, first I would like to see the starter Quest." ''New Quest! Mission: Starter Quest Description: You have just arrived in this foreign world. Your task is to find the nearest village or town. Reward: 5 Gold Coins, 50 Exp and a System Draw Do you accept this Quest [Y/N]'' I read through and became slightly confused. "What is a System Draw?" ''A System Draw is a random reward from the Star Wars universe. You could receive a spaceship, a building, weapons, armor, anything and everything from the Star Wars Universe. "Does that include people as well?" ''Of Course." I frowned upon hearing that, because what would happen If I accidentally received a Sith and I am not strong enough to stop them from doing whatever they wanted? "Can I open the Starter crate now?" ''Of Course'' A large box appeared before my eyes and on the crate in bold letters read Starter Crate. I opened the crate and before my eyes laid a set of robes, a mask, a Knife, and to the side of the crate lies a bag. I pull the robes out and put them on. The robes were called Kharnis Exile Robes, and it was as black as the abyss and comfortable to the touch. On the other hand, the mask next to the robes was sleek and silver with no mouthpiece. The mask covered my eyes in black allowing me to see out while no one could see my facial features or my eyes. I felt hungry so I began looking for some food and shelter for the night. I was not confident in thinking I would find civilization before nightfall. I pulled the knife out and realized it was not a normal knife, but a VibroKnife, a weapon that vibrates so much that a single graze of flesh could turn into a huge gruesome gash. When I finally pulled out the last item within the crate, the bag. The Crate suddenly started vanishing before my eyes. In a single moment, the starter crate was no longer there. I brushed it off and opened the bag to find some fruit and what looks to be a ring that has a gemstone that looks like a galaxy in the center of the ring. "What is this ring?" ''That ring is used to look at your stats, inventory, inspect someone else''s information and make your own skills.'' "What do you mean someone else''s information?" ''Depending on your level you could see what their strength is compared to yours via their level, as well as you can see additional information like Sex, Age and Name.'' Upon hearing this I realized how useful this will be in many situations to come. Noticing it was almost sundown I started looking for shelter for the night. I walked through the forest until it was dark enough that I was starting to have trouble seeing in the distance. I decided that because I could not find shelter I would sleep in the trees tonight. It was far from comfortable but It was necessary to keep myself safe from animals tonight. When I woke up in the morning my back was sore, everything was sore. I began walking through the forest looking for a rode. Near me, I began hearing movement through the shrubbery and a weird creature jumped out from the shrubs. The creature was like a rabbit but with a horn and blood-red eyes. "What is...that?" I asked my system. I weird screen appeared before my eyes. ---------------------- Demonic Horned Rabbit Gender: Male Level 26 ---------------------- It''s demonic? It suddenly charged at me wanting to pierce me with its horn. It was incredibly fast and it slashed my arm making me wince in pain. I pull out my Vibro Knife in hopes of killing the Rabbit with it. I quickly dodge its next charge and I notice hit a tree behind me and taking off a chunk of the tree it hit. I was astounded by the strength it held in its small body. This was a fight to the death, I could not just stand there and die by its hands. When I saw it getting ready to charge I waited for an opportune moment to give a fatal strike. When It jumped at me trying to pierce my skin I jumped to the side and slashed at his side in a counter-attack. I managed to give a large gash on its side with my counter-attack which is making it lose large amounts of its blood. It weakly tried getting up but it fell back down to never get back up again. ''Congratulations Host! You have killed Demonic Horned Rabbit! You have leveled up x13! You have learned the skill Bleeding Cut! ''Bleeding Cut Level 1 Description - When slashing a living target with a sharp weapon, the target will bleed more and will make it harder to close the wound.'' 3 Chapter 3 ''You have received 4 SP'' ''Would you like to see your stat screen?'' I checked my surroundings before sitting down on the ground. "Okay show me." ----------------------------- Name: Lucifer Caebic Level 13 Job: None Health: 34/35 Mana: 35 Vitality: 7 Strength: 4 Agility: 6 Endurance: 5 Intelligence: 7 Unspent Stat Points: 65 Skills: Identification LvMax, Bleeding Cut Lv1, -------------------- "Holy crap I have so many points?!" ''Yes'' "How?!" ''All beings receive 5 points every level up, you leveled up 13 times, so you received 65 points. Do you understand?'' "I guess? Wait every creature gets points? Does that mean everyone I will meet will be incredibly strong?" ''Everyone can level up the same as you, but everyone does not level up as fast as you so they will be strong but their speed on leveling will be slower than yours.'' "Ok...How do I use the points?" ''You mentally place them and it shall do so.'' --------------------------------- Name: Lucifer Caebic Level 13 Job: None Health: 100/100 Mana: 90/90 Vitality: 20 Strength: 16 Agility: 20 Endurance: 20 Intelligence: 18 Unspent Stat Points: 0 Skills: Identification LvMax, Bleeding Cut Lv1, -------------------- I placed 13 Points into Vitality, 15 into Endurance, 14 into Agility, 12 into strength, and finally 11 into Intelligence. I felt my muscles thicken and tighten and I felt my thoughts become clearer and more coherent. This feeling was more wonderful than anyone could ever possibly imagine. I started a fire and cooked the Rabbit and then began walking through the forest once again. I was walking through the woods when I heard a feminine scream for help. I dashed and was surprised at how fast I was moving, I think I was going 30MPH and I was not even running as fast as I can. I could hear speaking in the distance and snuck up to hear the conversation. ''Congratulations you have learned Sneak! Sneak Level 1 Description - This skill helps one hide easier from their enemies. It sounded like a very useful skill for me but I will ignore it for now and listen to the conversation. I could hear a girl crying and two men talking to each other. "Finally we caught the stupid b*tch!" The first man said. "Let''s just kill the stupid bitch then get back to the village, we might still be able to have some fun," The first man said again. "Wait, let''s have our fun with her first." The second man said. Upon hearing that I could no longer hide, I ran out and inspected them. ------------------- Bandit 1 Gender: Male Level 18 ------------------ Bandit 2 Gender: Male Level 24 -------------------- Before they could turn around I quickly stabbed the second bandit in the back and stabbing into an organ. He yelled out in pain before he turned around and hit me with his fist which sent me staggering back a few feet. The second bandit yelled out to his companion "Forget the girl! Kill him! He is dangerous!" The fist bandit charged at me with a rusty sword in hand. I looked over at the second bandit and saw that he was on his knees bleeding out from the stab wound on his back and blood coming out of his mouth. I focused my attention back on the first bandit and waited for the opportune moment to strike. When he was within a few feet he slashed down on his sword hoping to give me a fatal strike, but just like with the Demonic Horned Rabbit I dodged to the side and stabbed him in the chest. When I looked over I could see that the girl grabbed the second bandits weapon and killed him with it. I refocused onto the battle at hand and saw the first bandit going for another strike. I blocked his rusted sword with all my force and surprisingly cut through his rusted sword which in term caused me to slash down his torso killing him. ''Congratulations! You have killed Bandit 2 and helped kill bandit 1! You have gained x4 Levels!'' ''Bleeding Cut has leveled up!'' 4 Chapter 4 I walked towards the girl and she raised the weapon in her hand towards me and screamed out "Stay Back! Don''t come any closer!" I could see the fear in her eyes and I slowly put my weapon onto the ground and raised my hands. I looked her in the eyes and said "I mean you no harm, I heard your scream and came to help. Can you tell me what happened?" The girl slightly lowered her weapon and said "Bandits attacked our village. My family and I ran...but...they caught up. My father and brother fended them off and told me to run...the...they didn''t make it..." "I am sorry about your family," I told her. "It is not your fault..." she replied. "Can you save my village?" she asked me. I simply nod and she led me to her village, it took us an hour and a half before we could see the village. When we reached the village I noticed that they had all of the villagers in cages and had men patrolling the village, I would have started advancing towards the village but I received a system notification. ''Mission Completed! You have completed mission Starter Quest, do you wish to accept the rewards now or on a later date?'' I completely forget about the mission I was assigned and was only reminded about it now. I mentally accepted and the system asked me ''Do you wish to use the System draw now or at a later date?'' I accepted and a slot machine appeared before me the system told me to pull the lever and the 3 pictures flashed over many items that I found familiar and have only seen in the star wars universe. When the first slot stopped the system told me what my ''prize'' was. ''Congratulations for the first prize you received broken droid parts!'' I mentally cursed upon hearing that "What could I possibly even use that for!?!" I ignored that horrible prize and the system then announced my second prize that made my eyes shined ''Congratulations for your second prize, you have earned the Elite Emperor Royal Guard Kir Kanos!'' I instantly became happy upon hearing that name because if anyone knew the story of this man they would be surprised. Kir Kanos was a member of the elite Emperor''s Royal Guard during the Galactic Civil War. Kanos, like all the other guards, held an unwavering loyalty to the ideals of Emperor Palpatine. Managing to evade the destruction of the superweapon Death Star II and the planet Byss, where much of the guard was stationed, Kanos was the final loyal member of the unit after their ultimate massacre at Yinchorr, under the orders of fellow guardsman and aspiring Emperor, Carnor Jax. Kanos swore a "blood oath" against the traitor and those who had a hand in Palpatine''s ultimate demise. Kanos''s actions led him to become the most wanted man in the galaxy; a massive bounty was put on his head by the Imperial Remnant. His efficient skills in combat allowed him to stay alive. Kir Kanos was someone so powerful that most bounty hunters that went after him ended up dying by his hands. Before I could become even more excited the system told me my last reward. ''Congratulations for your finale prize, you have received a Tames Shadow Rancor!'' I remembered in the lore the rancor was a semi-sentient species used for a plethora of different things throughout the universe. I never expected to find that the shadow Rancor could be tamed because they are known to attack most things in sight. Before my eyes, a man in red robes wielding a double-sided spear appeared kneeling in front of me and to the side of him, a 16ft tall beast with black scales was sitting in front of me, in its gaze I could see pride and respect. When I looked over at Kir Karnos the system showed me his stats and it absolutely stunned me. ---------------- Name: Kir Kanos Level 1 Job: None Health: 60/60 Mana: 35/35 Vitality: 12 Strength: 10 Agility: 9 Endurance: 10 Intelligence: 7 Unspent Stat Points: 0 Skills: Spearmenship Expert Lv 3, Outdoor Survival Lv MAX, Marksmanship Expert Lv 1 ---------------- I felt massively cheated when looking at his stats when compared to when I first got here. He was incredibly strong when compared to me and when I looked at his skills I felt jealous. Kir Kanos stood up and saluted towards me saying "What are your commands, my lord?" I was unbelievably surprised because in his lore it says he was immensely loyal to Emperor Palpatine and his loyalty went so far that when the empire fell he chased down those that caused its destruction for years. When I looked over towards the Rancor it looked like it wanted to know the answer to the same question Kir asked me. I quickly forgot that the girl was next to me the entire time and witnessed the entire scene. I quickly tried explaining to her what happened but she beat me to it and said "Are you a noble?! How do you have such a strong beast and warrior following you?!" I''m not going to lie but she actually helped me out here by giving me a way to explain. "Uh...Yea I am a noble..." I told her to wait here and then said to the Rancor and Kir "Follow me, Its time to go kill some bandits." 5 Chapter Five We slowly crept up to the village to launch a surprise attack. When we reached the entrance I instructed both of them to stop their advance on the village. I whispered to them "Leave the bandit leader alive, no civilian casualties and make sure no one escapes, Me and Kir will try to take out as many as possible while they are not aware of us when they become aware of our presence you are free to charge in Rancor." They nod and get ready for the fight ahead of them. Kir and I sneak into the compound and split up. I take the left and he takes the right. The village is surrounded by a thick wooden wall that is taller than the rancor, which is why I think they haven''t become alerted to our presence as of yet, but that was immediately disrupted do to someone yelling out "Enemies! Enemies!" and with that our cover was blown. I rushed towards the yelling and heard a loud BAM! sound erupt through one of the walls, when I looked over I saw the Shadow Rancor bursting through the wood walls surrounding the village. The rancor was slicing and eating its way through its enemies like it was on a rampage. When I found Kir he was completely surrounded by burly men wielding swords, maces, and many other types of weapons. He was unfazed as he stabbed and slashed his way through all of the men. While I was focusing on them I forgot about my surroundings and when I heard a loud yell I turned around to see what I think to be the boss of the bandits slash at me with a sword. My vision turned black and in my finale moments before blacking out I saw both Kir and the Rancor finish off the last of the bandits and rush to me with worried expressions. ....... Days pass and I wake up in a weird wooden bed while covered in bandages. The room I was in looked old and like it was going to break by just a little wind. When I got up I realized that I was completely naked and before I could look for any clothes the door creaked open... Before my eyes, a woman was staring at me with wide eyes. Before I could say anything she let out an ear-piercing scream and ran out of the room. Kir rushed into the room while armed with his weapon and said "My lord, are you alright?! What happened!" Upon seeing my body he gained an understanding of what happened. He pointed towards clothes in the corner and walked out of the room shutting the door behind him. I placed on my cloak and noticed that the back it does not even have a scratch from the blade of that bandit boss. "What is the meaning of this?" ''Answering host, The Starter Cloak has a self-repair function.'' "Will all of the clothing I received from the system have a self-repair function as well?" ''Of course, but keep in mind your clothing will not repair itself when in battle.'' Good to know I guess, I then open the door and walk out of the room. Standing in front of me is the rancor, Kir, and the girl that I saved, her face is in a deep shade of red and she is looking away from me. I realize she was the one to barge in on me naked so my face also gained a deep shade of red. Upon noticing this Kir spoke to ease our embarrassment "My lord, we arrived at the village too late, the only survivor of this village is this young lady here." When I heard that she was the only survivor I asked her "What do you plan on doing now?" She sat there and said nothing. I then offered "You could come with us?" She brightened up and her eyes became much more energetic. She yelled loudly with an excited voice "Can I!? Can I really?!" I smiled and said, "Sure, as long as you can contribute to the team." She hurriedly said, "Of course, I will try my hardest to contribute!" "Okay, let''s go find another town or village," I said. 5 Chapter 5 We slowly crept up to the village to launch a surprise attack. Upon noticing my gaze Kir asked, "My lord, Is there something wrong?" I sat in silence before responding "Kir, can you teach me how to fight?" He kneeled and said, "I would be honored to my lord." For the next couple of days, Kir would teach me how to wield the knife better and what to do in a few fights. He told me that I could only learn from experience. Also, I learned the name of the woman who I saved, it turns out here name is Anna. While we were on the road to the next city or town the system gave me a new quest. ''New Quest! Training Train for 2 hours a day with Kir Kanos until you beat him in a 1 on 1 duel. Reward: 5 System Draws of your choosing, 50000 EXP, A Random Skill'' I mentally asked the system "What do you mean a draw of my choosing?" ''I will allow you to choose the era." "Does that mean that If I want items from the clone wars era I would get those types of items?" ''Yes, Do you wish to accept the quest?'' "Yes," I told the system. For the next few days, I trained with Kir and as you might have thought, he kicked my ass. Even when he used the same amount of strength as me he still was too strong. After a week on the road, we finally could see a city. While marveling at the sight of the massive city Anna informed me that this one of the large cities within the Kingdom that we are in, which reminds me, I have yet to ask about this kingdom. I asked Anna and she told me some minor information about the kingdom. "The Kingdom that we are currently in is called Sania, most of the nobels are corrupt in some way or another, The Demi-humans are treated as slaves and are not permitted citizenship," she told me. When I found out that demi-humans were being enslaved and that this Kingdom still had slavery I felt disgusted. When we drew closer to the gate into the city I had the rancor stay here so he would not cause any danger to the cities inhabitants. When we got near the gates the city guards stepped forward and said "Halt! Please show us your identification or pay for entrance." I then pull out a gold coin and hand it to the guard and he lets us in. I realized that we were low on funds and when I asked Anna where we should go to get some Gold Coins she said that we should go to the local Guild Hall and become an adventurer and do some quests. 6 Chapter 6 I looked over at Kir to examine his stats and I was shocked. --------------------- Name: Kir Kanos Level 23 Job: None Health: 150/150 Mana: 150/150 Vitality: 30 Strength: 33 Agility: 30 Endurance: 40 Intelligence: 30 Skills: Spearmenship Expert Lv 3, Outdoor Survival Lv MAX, Marksmanship Expert Lv 1 --------------- I was surprised by his stats and level. I realized that we were low on funds and when I asked Anna where we should go to get some Gold Coins she said that we should go to the local Adventurers Guild Hall and become an adventurer and do some quests. 7 Chapter 7 We walked on a road while surrounded by hundreds of people, there were merchants, carriages, and common people throughout the entire crowd. I noticed that all of the buildings were mostly made of stone and wood while all of the buildings I could see lacked glass, so I assume that this planet is in a medieval stage of technology. Anna informed that she came to this city a few times with a few of the people from the village to sell some small game. She led us to the Adventurers Guild and the Guildhall was a large building that constantly had people entering and exiting. The people all were wearing either a type of armor or robe while also holding many different weapons, some of the weapons still had blood on them. When we walked into the guild many peoples gazed focused on us and our...unusual clothing, Kir was wearing his bright Red Imperial Guard uniform and mask while I was wearing my Kharnes Exile robes with my Silver mask that covered my face. After all of the people looked at me and Kir I noticed that they ignored Anna, due to her wearing simple clothing compared to us. Anna then guided as to the counter and had us apply for membership. The lady at the counter told us that the ranks in the guild go from F to S (F, E, D, C, B, A, S) with F class being the lowest rank. She said she would bring out a C class adventurer to evaluate our rank within the guild and what level of assignments we can do. She also informed me that once we became adventurers in this guildhall we can pay for a job change and status evaluation. I know that I do not need a status evaluation due to the system, but me and Kir were in need of a job change. She told me that it cost 50 Gold Coins per job change and 10 Gold coins per status evaluation. While we waited for the C class adventurer anna informed me of the currency system of this world. She told me that 1,000 Gold coins are equal to 1 Dragon Coin and 100 Dragon Coin are equal to 1 Celestial coin. After waiting for a few more minutes a buff man wearing fur armor walked in and over to us. "Are you the ones that need to be evaluated?" the buff man asked us. When I inspected him I became shocked. ---------------------- C-Class Adventurer Gender: Male Level 73 -------------------------- He was the highest level I have seen in this new world and the lady at the counter said he is only a Class C adventurer, So what is the strength of an S class?! We gave him a nod and he led us to a separate room within the guildhall. "Who wants to be evaluated first?" the adventurer asked. I stepped forward and asked, "What type of evaluation are we doing?" "It''s simple, we will spar and I will evaluate your skill and strength," he told me. I take out my VibroKnife and he takes out a large sword. He suddenly lunged at me and yells "Adventurers always need to be on their guard!" I managed to narrowly dodge his strike and when his weapon hit the ground beneath our feet the stone cracked and dented from his strike. He would probably kill me if he were to hit me with that strike, so all I could do was dodge. He had great strength but a slow speed. He suddenly swung his sword at an angle I could not dodge out of so I raised my VibroKnife and tried striking towards his hand. Suddenly he disappeared from my vision and appeared 10 feet behind where he was just at. He chuckled and said, "You are around E class in strength and Skill." He then looked over to Kir and said: "Okay, it is your turn now." I was slightly worried for Kir, I did not know if Kir would be able to defeat him. The adventurer lunged at Kir like how he did to me and unlike what I did Kir sidestepped the adventurer and struck towards the adventurer''s hand and disarmed him. The adventurer''s weapon fell to the ground. The adventurer looked angry and tried punching Kir, Kir ducked and placed his foot in front of his leg which tripped the adventurer. The adventurer tried getting back up but was met with Kir''s double-sided spear. Kir looked the adventurer in the eyes and said: "You lose." 8 Chapter 8 Kir looked the adventurer in the eyes and said: "You lose." Kir then extended out his hand and helped the adventurer up. The adventurer then looked at us and told us to follow him. He brought us back to the front desk and told the lady the information about us and walked away. The lady at the front desk then gave us two metal coin-like objects. One had a large letter C embedded into the metal and the other had a large E embedded. She then told us some basic information at the guild and the coin-like objects. "Do not lose those coins, they represent your rank within the guild. If you were to lose then you will have to come back to the guild and either pay for another or try the challenge again. Over there in the corner is the quest board, on the quest board you can find quests that have a rank, if it is of your rank then you should have a chance of completing it if it''s of a higher rank than do not accept that Quest. If you have any more questions or you want to accept one of the quests just inform me." Kir and I walked over to look at the available quests on the board and found a few quests that were on the board. A few of the quests were to guard caravans and a few of the other was subjugation quests. Kir and I agreed that subjugation quests were going to be easier for us. We had two subjugation quests available to us, one was for us to go clear a bandit camp, and the other was to go eliminate a wolf den. We decided to take on the bandits first and on the quest, it had a C rank as its difficulty. We walked up to the counter and asked for the bandit subjugation quest and the lady at the counter asked "Are you sure? Only one of you is C rank, you both could lose your lives if you accept this quest." I nodded and told the lady "We would like to take on this quest, do not worry about us we will survive." She sighed and accepted and sent us on our way. We exited the city and met up with the shadow rancor once more, I inspected the rancor and became surprised at what it said ------------------------ Shadow Rancor B Rank Beast ---------------------------- It lacked lots of information but that is not what surprised me, what surprised me was that its rank is B. I did not expect the Shadow Rancor to be that strong, does that mean it can wipe out the bandit camp by itself? The lady at the counter gave us a map of where the bandit camp is and it was along the road to the village that we came from. I wonder if the bandits that raided the village are from that bandit camp? I guess we will find out soon. We walked for quite a bit and in the distance, we saw something that definitely did not resemble a bandit camp. Its size was bigger than the village and we could see many men with weapons and armor moving throughout the entire camp. At this moment in time, I could only ask myself "This is what they call a C rank subjugation quest?!" 9 Chapter 9 Kir and I looked at the Bandit city in disbelief, How could this possibly be a C ranked quest? The only person that we could ask this question stayed at the city when we left to do this quest, that person was Anna. I then received a system notification. ---------------------- ''New Quest!'' Kill every bandit within the bandit camp! Reward: 2 System Draws, 10,000 EXP, and a Random Skill. ------------------------ My eyes glowed at the rewards I get when I completed this mission. I accepted the quest and Informed Kir and the Rancor that we will kill the bandits located within this base. When I looked over at the Rancor I noticed it drooling at the sight of the bandits. "Do you guys want to do this the smart way or the loud way?" I asked Kir and the Rancor. The Rancor let out a loud bestial roar. "I guess we do this the loud way then," I said aloud. .......... Inside the bandit camp near the gate sat a group of bandits, these bandits were laughing and bragging about various things. Suddenly the bandits heard a loud roar off in the distance and then the ground around them started to shake. Bam! A large black creature burst through the gate. Everyone became alarmed at this and prepared to fight the large monster before them, but then two people appeared behind the large monster. (Back to MC POV) Before my eyes laid at least 20 bandits all armed with weapons. When I inspected the bandits their average level was around 25. Suddenly the bandits charged at us. The Shadow Rancor charges at the bandits and began tearing them apart and even eating them! Kir and I could only stare at this scene in disgust. More and more bandits rushed to the scene because of the noise and we were surrounded by many bandits, The Shadow Rancor was fighting at least a hundred bandits by itself while Kir and I were facing a group of 40 ourselves. After I killed many bandits I reached Level 36 while Kir reached Level 42. After killing many of the bandits that were attacking us Kir and I had a moment to place down our points. --------------------------------- Name: Lucifer Caebic Level 36 Job: None Health: 270/300 Mana: 190/190 Vitality: 60 Strength: 47 Agility: 50 Endurance: 50 Intelligence: 38 Unspent Stat Points: 0 Skills: Identification LvMax, Bleeding Cut Lv5 ------------------- My body felt like it was brimming with power, my body felt stronger, lighter, flexible, and durable. I then looked at Kir''s stats --------------------- Name: Kir Kanos Level 42 Job: None Health: 150/150 Mana: 150/150 Vitality: 30 Strength: 68 Agility: 60 Endurance: 70 Intelligence: 30 Skills: Spearmenship Expert Lv 3, Outdoor Survival Lv MAX, Marksmanship Expert Lv 1 --------------- I noticed how he did not place any points within his vitality and intelligence. We kept fighting the remaining bandits until we heard someone from behind the bandits yell "Stop fighting! Who killed my men!" The voice was rough and coarse. A buff bandit then walked forward from the group of bandits. The bandit was riddled in scars and had many burn marks over his body. When I examined him I became stunned. ------------------------ Bandit Leader Gender: Male Level: 87 --------------------------- The bandit leader was stronger than the C class adventurer that examined us at the guild, but what shocked me the most was once the bandit stepped forward the Shadow Rancor charged forth and ate the man in front of our eyes leaving us wide-eyed and stunned at this scene. It simply burped before looking over at us while confused by our expressions. 10 Chapter 10 This is a 3in1 chapter, I hope you enjoy the read. Also, I warn you now that there will be info drops ahead. []//////////////[] Everyone just stared at the Shadow Rancor in shock. No one expected the bandit leader not to be able to even put up a fight. While the remaining bandits were still in shock Kir and I rushed to cut them down while they were distracted. After seeing what we were doing the Rancor joined in on the fun and started eating more of the bandits. After seeing a few of the bandits being killed the remaining started trying to flee. Unfortunately for the bandits they were not faster than the rancor and only ended up either being eaten whole or gruesomely crushed and slashed. After chasing down the remaining bandits that fled we butchered them down. The system proved it by giving me the notification about the completion of the Quest. The Exp I received as a reward leveled me up once and I also received a random skill. /--------------------------------\\ Name: Lucifer Caebic Level 37 Job: None Health: 280/300 Mana: 200/200 Vitality: 60 Strength: 50 Agility: 50 Endurance: 50 Intelligence: 40 Unspent Stat Points: 0 Skills: Identification LvMax, Bleeding Cut Lv5, Body of Iron Lv1 /-------------------\\ With my five stat points, I leveled my strength to 50 and my intelligence to 40. With every point I place in intelligence I feel my thoughts become clearer and my thinking abilities improve. On the other hand every point I place into strength I feel the muscles throughout my body become stronger and easier to use. When I looked at the new skill, I was relatively happy with it after I examined it. /----------------\\ Body Of Iron (Body Enchantment) Level 1 of 5 Mana cost: 25 Mana Description: Upon activation of this spell the user''s body will become as tough as Iron. It is known that with every level up of this skill, the skill will become less costly. ------------------ The Skill would be incredibly useful for anyone that is in a battle. Sadly in its description, it does not tell me how to get this skill for others. I now had two system draws that would give me 3 items each. Before I open it Kir and I went to search for the bandit leaders home within the bandit city. The bandit''s city resided within a ruined village and it appears the bandits repaired many of the wooden houses and even built a few thatch houses as well. We searched through all of the houses and found a few hundred gold coins and also found many types of goods like books, food, fur, and pelt. We eventually found the bandit leader''s wooden hut and It had a few luxurious goods and a few sacks full of gold coins. We only grabbed the gold coins because we could not carry anything else with us. ... We left the bandit leader''s hut and I used my system draws. Just like before a wheel appeared before me and began to spin. The wheel contained an endless amount of things that I found familiar while also showing me many things that I consider disgusting and deadly. The wheel slowly slowed down and stopped on a Mandalorian symbol. ''Congratulations! For your first prize, you have earned a group of Nite Owl Mandalorian Soldiers.'' I was quite happy with this prize because the Nite Owls have quite an interesting history. The Nite Owls fought for the Death Watch in the First Skirmish on Carlac in the clown wars era. Around 20 BBY, the Nite Owls would participate in the Takeover of Mandalore with the rest of the Death Watch. They split apart from the Death Watch after the Sith Lord Darth Maul killed Vizsla and proclaimed himself the Death Watch leader. Refusing to recognize an outsider as her superior, the leader of the Nite owls, Bo-Katan, fled with the Nite Owls. The Nite Owls allied themselves with Satine''s loyalists led by her nephew Korkie, and they attempted to break the former Duchess from prison in order to send a message to Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi for help against Maul. During the breakout, the Nite Owls and loyalists were engaged by several members of Maul''s Death Watch loyalists as they attempted to take Satine out of the city of Sundari. They were ultimately overwhelmed, and Satine was recaptured, but the members of the squad escaped. The Nite Owls fought alongside Kenobi. Kenobi would soon come to Mandalore and free the Duchess himself, but they were stopped while they were trying to escape, and Satine was executed. As Kenobi was being taken to prison, Bo-Katan and the Nite Owls rescued him. This began the Battle of Sundari, with the Nite Owls and Kenobi on one side, and the Mandalorian super commandos on the other. Eventually, Bo-Katan and Kenobi fought their way to a starship, and Kenobi left to inform the Republic of the situation on Mandalore. It is surprising that I managed to receive a group of these elite soldiers. I then waited for the next reward from the draw. The wheel began to spin again and after ten seconds of spinning the wheel finally stopped on a weird blueprint symbol. ''Congratulations! For your second prize, you have earned a Shipyard blueprint!'' My eyes glowed at this prize. It would be incredibly useful later on but for now, I cannot use it. The wheel began to spin again and I was beginning to enjoy the excitement that these draws give me. The wheel slowed down and stopped onto a weird bottle. ''Congratulations! For your last prize, you have earned a bottle of alcohol!'' My eye visibly began to twitch at the sight of this last reward. Before my eyes lights flashed before me, a bottle of alcohol appeared in one of my hands and in my other hand I held a blueprint. I quickly placed both into my inventory and waited for the Nite Owls to appear. Another light flashed and 4 people in a gray set of Mandalorian armor appeared before me. They all had a jetpack on their backs and blaster rifles in their hands. Three of the people had a masculine build while the last one had a feminine build. The first one to talk out of the four was the girl. "Sir, what are your orders?" she asked me. For now, I told them to wait with Kir while I used my last system draw. Another wheel appeared before me and began to spin, after a while It started slowing down and it finally landed on a symbol of a gun. ''Congratulations! For your first prize, you have earned a DC-17 hand blaster!'' I became excited when I saw this reward. In this fantasy world, I highly doubt many can survive a blaster shot. The wheel began to spin again and it slowed down and landed on a droid symbol. ''Congratulations! For your second prize, you have earned a damaged HMP Droid Gunship!'' I momentarily freaked out when I saw this prize, sadly it is damaged, hopefully not damaged beyond repair. The wheel began to spin and slowly it landed on a red lightsaber, this worried me and excited me at the same time. ''Congratulations! For your final prize, you have earned The Inquisitor, The Seventh Sister!'' My face became pale when I saw her name. The Seventh Sister is far from a good person. The Seventh Sister was a former Jedi that survived Order 66. After a while, she became an Inquisitor that hunted Jedi. She was ultimately killed by Darth Maul on Malachor. Multiple lights flashed in front of me and in my hand, the DC-17 Hand Blaster appeared. In front of a large object appeared along with a human-sized object. The large object was the Droid Gunship, It appeared to be not as heavily damaged as I was thinking it was going to be, the only damages on the gunship were on its surface. It was 18.2 meters wide and 3.1 meters tall. Surprisingly I managed to fit it into my inventor. The human-sized object was nonother than the Seventh Sister. She was in full black and she was wielding a double-bladed, spinning lightsaber. The weapon had two spikes and ornate engravings on its ringed emitter, and it was worn on the Seventh Sister''s belt. I saw a few small droids climb onto her back and stare at me with a red photoreceptor. 11 Chapter 11 Seventh Sister had her helmet on so I could not see her facial features. She suddenly kneeled before me with her hand on her chest. "I am ready to serve, my lord." Seventh Sister said. For now, I told her to stand bye. I gathered everyone and set out back to the city. After a few hours of walking, we could see the edge of the city. I had everyone besides the Seventh Sister and Kir stay here. We paid for our entrance into the city and we walked towards the Guild Hall. When we walked into the guild I noticed a lot of eyes on us, well a lot of eyes specifically on Seventh SIster. In fact, a burly man got out of his chair and walked toward us. His eyes were full of lust as he said "Why don''t you join my party? I happen to be a C class adventurer and I can protect you far better than this little twerp can." I quickly told him "She will not join your party." "Brat who are you to decide? Cant, you see the grownups are talking?" he scoffed. Before I could retort Seventh Sister grabbed the man''s hand and threw the man to the ground then she pulled out her lightsaber and placed it against the man''s throat and said: "How dare you insult my lord?!" Everyone''s eyes were on Seventh Sister at that moment. No one knew what kind of weapon she was using but they could see that it was very dangerous. "Put down the lightsaber, don''t kill him in front of all these people!" I tried to calm her down. "So I should kill him when there are fewer people around?" she asked me in a questioning tone. "No that''s not what I meant! Sigh...Just don''t make a scene." I told her, in response she sent a frown my way. We walked over to the lady at the counter and said: "We would like to turn in a subjugation quest." "What quest are you turning in?" She asked us. "We have completed a C rank Bandit Camp subjugation quest." "Okay, please place your hands on this stone and say aloud how many bandits you have killed." she pulled out a glowing stone and told us. I placed my hand and said, "We killed around 500 bandits." The stone glowed green and the Lady behind the counter was shocked. "500?! How is that possible! There were only supposed to be around 100 bandits!" Kir and I became shocked by this information, 100 bandits count as a C rank quest? "Since the truth stone has proven your words correct than your reward will be higher, You will all be paid 500 Gold coins and this gentleman will rise to C rank." she pointed at me and said to our group. 12 Chapter 12 The lady behind the counter then said: "If there is anything else you need to know or if you want to accept another quest than just ask me." "We would like to see the available subjugation quests," I asked the lady behind the counter. She led us to the board and showed us 3 available subjugation quests of our rank. One was clearing out a bandit camp wich housed less than 20 low-level bandits, the second was to find a vampire inside a village and slay it, and the last was a Goblin Camp subjugation quest with an unknown number of goblins. The Second Quest surprised me because I did not think vampires would exist in this world, does that mean werewolves also exist here? I pushed that thought behind me and told the lady behind the counter: "We will take on the Goblin camp subjugation quest." We left the guild after accepting that quest and we decided to go to the market to buy some food and other camping supplies. I bought 3 bags of food and placed them into my inventory and I also bought 6 tents. When we left the city we regrouped with the rest and set out for the Goblin camp that is located north of the city. After a few hours of walking the sun was going down, so we set up camp for the night. I had the rancor guard us against any local wildlife for the night while everyone got a good night''s sleep. In the morning we continued our journey and we reached our destination. In the distance, we could see a village with hundreds of small disgusting green goblins. Luckily for us, many of them were only wielding clubs as weapons. While we waited for nightfall outside of the village I inspected Seventh Sister stats. /--------------------------------\\ Name: Seventh Sister Level: 110 Job: None Health: 560/560 Mana: 500/500 Vitality: 112 Strength: 211 Agility: 100 Endurance: 79 Intelligence: 100 Skills: Force Manipulation(Novice), Lightsaber Mastery(Novice) Lv 4, Regeneration (Novice) Lv 1, Time Acceleration(Novice) Lv 1, Photographic Memory(Novice) Lv 1, Strength Burst(Novice) Lv 1 \\----------------------------------------/ Holy Sh**! How is she so OP! And what are those Skills! After I talked with her I figured out that she received all the skills after Lightsaber mastery by having a stat at 100. So if I were to get my Strength to 100 I would receive the skill Strength Burst. After a while, the night fell and the Goblins started going to sleep. 13 Chapter 13 With most of the Goblins asleep the first thing I did was have Seventh Sister use her ID9 Seeker droids to scout out the camp and inform me of how many enemies there are. An hour passes by and Seventh Sister informs me that there are a total of 304 Goblins within the village. Most Goblins are using rusty weapons and clubs for weapons. I had everyone get in position, Seventh Sister, Kir, and the Shadow Rancor will be the vanguard to defend the Nite owls and me who will be behind them shooting the Goblins with blasters. With everyone in position I told the Shadow Rancor to roar loud enough for every Goblin within the village to hear. A loud bestial roar flew throughout the village waking many tired Goblins from their sleep. Due to this many of the Goblins became blind by rage and gathered to see who woke them up. Upon seeing us the Goblins all had smiles on their faces and some even had drool dripping from the corner of their mouths. A few...brave goblins stepped forward with menacing gazes. Suddenly a light flashed and those very goblins that stepped forward fell down to the ground with a smocking hole in their heads. The Goblins all became fearful when they looked over at the...brave...Goblins lying dead on the ground. Suddenly a Goblin twice the size of the Goblins came out and I started hearing murmurs from the Goblins. "Its the boss!" "The boss came out!" "These people are done for!" This so-called boss was carrying a large club and was wearing hide armor. The large Goblin stepped forward and said "Don''t worry, everyone charged and whoever kills that beast will get to have more food tonight!" The Goblins eyes glowed upon hearing their boss and many of the Goblins charged at us with their clubs and rusty weapons. I ordered the nite owls to open fire. Seventh Sister, Kir, and the Shadow rancor prepared for battle. Dozens of the Goblins were falling down to the ground dead. Any of the Goblins that made it past the blaster fire from the Nite Owls were cut down by Seventh Sister and the others. Slowly only a dozen Goblins and the Goblin boss remained. The Goblin boss became fearful when he saw that all of the Goblins were killed in such a short time. "I can give you anything you want! Please let me live!" The Goblin boss begged. and before anyone could answer the boss I stepped forward and shot him in the leg with my blaster. "Why should you be spared?" I asked. "I can give you money!" he begged again. "Filth like you just pisses me off," I told the Goblin boss. Without wanting to hear any more I shot the Goblin boss in the head with my blaster, ending his life. 15 Chapter 15 The City was slightly smaller than Shodon City. Like always I told the Shadow Rancor to stay outside of the city and out of sight from the guards. After paying for entrance we decided to go get some food at a local restaurant. We found a restaurant that sold steaks and I decided to give it a try. In all honesty that was the worst piece of meat, I have ever tasted...The Steak was severely burnt and was spiceless which partially ruined the flavor. Even the bread they served as a side dish was as hard as a rock and even had some mold growing on it. To put it simply Kir and I only managed to take a single bite before feeling like we were about to vomit. We left the restaurant unsatisfied. When we walked into the local Guild I walked over to the counter lady and asked for 2 Job changes for Kir and me. I did not know what it meant to get a Job change but I guess I will find out soon. After paying 100 Gold Coins she led me into a room with a crystal orb sitting on a pedestal in the center of the room. She directed me to the orb and told me to place my hand on it. Before my eyes, a screen appeared. /-----------------------------------------------------\\ Current Job: None Available Jobs: Warrior(Basic) Rouge(Basic) Mage(Basic) Ranger(Basic) Berserker(Advanced) Knight(Advanced) Force User(Unique) \\-----------------------------------------------------/ I looked over all of them before seeing the last available Job. My intelligence went up by 185! I gained a new skill as well as I feel as if I gained a massive boost to my cognitive abilities! 18 Chapter 18 Somewhere inside the city was a room with a group of people having a meeting while sitting around a round table. Suddenly the man that interrogated Lucifer ran into the room with a pale expression. "My Lord! I have urgent news about the demons!" the frightened man yelled. "What!?" the man sitting in the largest chair yelled. The other men around the table all had shocked expressions upon hearing this. "Demons are here?!" some of the men sitting around the table murmured. "Hire a courier and inform his majesty at once!" the lord yelled at a nearby guard. ..... A few days pass and in the middle of an open area outside the city, two people were sparring. One of the men was in a black robe while the other was in a bright red robe. The man in the red robe had a slight advantage over the person in the black robe due to experience and technique but the man in the black robe made up for this weakness with strength. Then suddenly the man in the red robes through a faint and instead struck at his opponent''s legs. The man in the black robes wasn''t able to defend and fell down to the ground. "Your loss," Kir said to me. Kir helps me up and says "Your getting better, at first you could not even defend against my strikes but now you can defend against most of my attacks." I couldn''t help but think back to the ally where I saw that woman murdered. What was that creature? I put that question behind me and asked if Kir wanted to join me on a subjugation quest from the guild that interested me. "What''s interesting about the quest?" Kir asked me. "This quest is about eliminating a tribe of forest trolls." "Trolls?" Kir asked me with a confused expression. "Trolls are large humanoids that have high regeneration and are natural warriors, but they have very low intelligence," I told Kir. "Why not, they sound like perfect practice dummies," Kir said with a smile. ... We left this morning and it took us more than 4 hours to reach the location of the forest troll tribe. When we reached the cave the tribe lived in we noticed that a group of trolls were just returning and entered into the cave. The trolls had a height of over 8 feet and they were brimming with muscles! Kir and I were going to enjoy this fight! But, for now, we decided to observe them so we can find out their numbers, strengths, weaknesses, and even the way they fight. .... We observed them for two days and we found out very little information about these trolls. It appears they use a single hunting group so we have yet to see any other trolls and unluckily for us, the trolls caught very weak prey so we could barely even see them fight. And that''s why during the night of the second day of observing them we decided to attack instead of wasting more time with observing. 19 Chapter 19 We left the shadow Rancor at the entrance of the cave to stop any forest trolls from escaping while we cleared the cave out. When we entered the cave''s entrance a long hallway lay before us. We walked in the hallway for a minute or two and found ourselves inside a large chamber. It seemed to be a large bedroom. We could see many forest trolls sleeping. There were at least a hundred! How in the hell was this a Rank-C Subjugation Quest?! We talked it over and decided to just fight all of them at once. I took a deep breath and yelled as loud as I could. The forest trolls all jumped up and with eyes full of bloodlust they charged at us. That''s when we noticed that the forest trolls are just brutes. They are so incredibly slow that we could dodge them very easily. Then we noticed that any strike that was not fatal healed at an extraordinary speed. Most of their non-fatal wounds closed as soon as we cut them open. We had to resort to only fatal wounds due to their regeneration. Sadly their fatal wounds healed within minutes making us have to focus on one troll at a time. Once we killed all of the trolls within this room I leveled up 4 times while Kir leveled up 6 times! It was unbelievable how much exp that these forest trolls gave us. We saw that the hallway led further into the cave. When we reached the end of the hallway we found ourselves in a breeding chamber! We saw many young forest trolls and many female trolls. The female trolls were smaller than the male trolls but it appeared that the female trolls had much more intelligence. The female trolls realized the only way we could have made this far was to have killed all of the male forest trolls. The female trolls ran for the exit to try to escape from us and we killed all that we could. At least 4 of the female trolls escaped from our grasp. We did not chase after they do to the Shadow Rancor waiting at the entrance, we thought that he would kill them when they reached the entrance. But we were wrong! When we got to the entrance the scene in front of my eyes would haunt my dreams for years to come! Bodies of male rancors lay on the ground, and at the center was the Shadow Rancor mating with the female forest trolls! I couldn''t help but throw up my lunch at this disgusting scene. 20 Chapter 20 Turns out while we were inside killing the female forest trolls a group of male trolls that went out to hunt came back and found our shadow rancor waiting at the entrance. Turns out the female trolls that escaped Kir and me were observing this fight between the rancor and the male trolls and fell in love with the shadow rancor because turns out female trolls mate with the strongest male beast they can find, which includes the shadow rancor... After the shadow rancor...finished his business he ''claimed'' the female forest trolls as his mates. All I could do was accept the fact that the shadow rancor now has female mates. Then I noticed this is the perfect location to build a hideout! It was located in a valley with only one entrance. Not to mention there''s also a natural cave to build within! Now I had another question in my mind, how could the trolls get so much food for so many forest trolls? I told the shadow rancor to set up here with the female forest trolls while Kir and I will head back to the city and send a letter with a courier to inform Seventh Sister that we found a suitable place to build a base and that she should start heading over here. Turns out that Seventh Sister and the Nite Owls made quite a reputation for themselves at Shodon City. I had Kir stay inside the city and wait for Seventh Sisters'' arrival while I went back to the forest trolls cave and while heading to the cave I was rudely interrupted by some bandits when I left the city. Sadly for the bandits, they picked the wrong fight, within a minute all of the men lay dead on the ground. "Sigh...I seriously don''t understand why this world has so many damn bandits..." I complained to myself. When I got back to the cave I found that the shadow rancor dragged all of the male forest trolls out of the cave and just let them rot in the sun. Suddenly the shadow rancor exited out of the cave and looked at me as if he wanted to show me something. He stepped out of the cave and motioned for me to follow him. We walked for 20 minutes before reaching the other side of the valley. Before my eyes lay a giant cave entrance that went into the ground. This cave felt very ominous and when I stepped into it a screen appeared before me. /-------------------------\\ [Eternal Fire Dungeon] [SS-Class Dungeon] [Floors: 5,000] \\-------------------------/ My eyebrows visibly rose when I looked at the screen. A dungeon? 21 Chapter 21 I suddenly felt a great amount of heat hit my face when I took a single step into the cave and before I could take another step into the cave a few new quests appeared! /-----------------------------------------------\\ New Quest! Mission: Boss Slayer 1 Description: Kill the boss on the 10th floor of a dungeon. Rewards: 50 gold coins,a random skill and a system draw. \\-----------------------------------------------/ The rewards were great for such a simple quest. /-----------------------------------------------\\ New Quest! Mission: Dungeon Delver 1 Description: Clear 50 floors inside a dungeon. Reward: 5,000 Gold Coins and 2 system draws Do you accept this Quest [Y/N] \\-----------------------------------------------/ I could already tell that this quest was going to be the hardest out of both of the quests I just received. I had no reason to reject the quests so I accepted both of them. I did not immediately enter the dungeon because I wanted to wait until Kir, Seventh Sister and the nite owls get here. I certainly don''t know what awaits me inside the dungeon so I would rather have some backup before I decide to delve in. ...... While I waited for Kir and the others I kept myself busy, I scouted the entire valley and all around it. Luckily the forest trolls that used to live here cleared out all hostiles in the area. Finally, after I waited for 8 days Kir and the others arrived at the cave. I showed them the entrance of the dungeon and they agreed that this a perfect place to build an outpost with this also being here. We decided to get a good night''s rest before entering the dungeon tomorrow morning. ........ In the morning we all gathered at the entrance and decided to form a single team, Kir, Seventh Sister and I will be the vanguards of the team while the nite owls will give us support from behind with their blasters. We stuck in a tight formation and we ventured down the natural slope at the entrance into a large cave, there were multiple passages that left this massive room so I don''t know which would lead us to the next floor. Before we could move any further we encountered this floor''s inhabitant. It looked like an infant red salamander, the weird thing is that these salamander infants were the size of a dog! "How big would their parents be?" I couldn''t help but ask out loud. The infant salamander charged at us and it suddenly spat out a flame from his mouth! We all quickly dodged and before I charged up to pierce the infant salamanders skull with my vibroknife. It let out a loud howl as my virbroblade pierced its flesh. Suddenly many young salamanders rushed at us from all directions! 22 Chapter 22 Everyone that had a blaster tried to kill as many as possible before they could reach us, but there were just too many of them. They were easy to kill but the salamanders made up for that with numbers. When we finally managed to kill all of the salamanders we were surrounded by stacks of salamander corpses. I guess we finally found out where the forest trolls were getting their food. We walked around on the first floor and found that many of the passages that lead out of this main chamber lead to a dead end. When we checked the last passage we found a staircase that leads to the next floor. With ever floor the heat got slightly hotter, the first floor felt like it was slightly hotter than outside. But when we stepped into the second floor we found that the heat got slightly hotter. If the heat got slightly hotter for every floor then how hot would it be the final floor? Would it be as hot or hotter than the surface of the sun? I put that thought behind me as I delved into the second floor. We found that the salamanders were slightly larger than the salamanders on the first floor and they were slightly more vicious and more cunning. They started trying to sneak attack us and luring us to more salamanders, but before they could successfully lure us we killed them with our blasters. After making sure that we killed all of the salamanders on this floor we started looking for the stairway that leads to the next floor. On the third floor, we found that the salamanders were now the size of a large dog and their fire breath became much stronger! We started getting tired and hungry so we captured a live salamander and grabbed a few salamander corpses and had the captured salamander cook the dead salamanders for us. We took a few minutes to rest before continuing down to the 4th floor. We continued through the floors one by one before we finally made it to the 10th floor. It was at least now 95 degrees Fahrenheit inside the dungeon, we decided that after we clear the 10th floor that we would head up back to the surface and rest for a while. When we entered the 10th floor we noticed a change a large door was at the end of the stairway that leads to the 10th floor. When we neared the door it opened by itself and it revealed a large room with a large salamander the size of a car! 23 Chapter 23 The salamander was the size of a car! And before I could even examine it, it dashed as like a bullet and slammed into our formation. The only one out of all of us that was the least hurt was Seventh Sister. We started shooting at it with our blasters but it only left a burn mark on the salamander''s scales. We kept repeatedly firing at the salamander and one of the nite owls managed to hit the huge salamander in the eye. The salamander''s eye exploded into goo and it started howling from the pain. Seeing how that managed to hurt it the Nite Owls and I started aiming at the salamander''s other eye. The Salamander tried to dodge but it could not dodge all of the laser beams and it lost its other eye. With the salamander being blind it started howling and attacking anything it could hear. The blasters could not harm it anymore with it moving so erratically. I charged at it with my VirbroKnife in hand and slashed at its torso. To my surprise, it slashed through its scales and left a long bloody gash. It howled in pain and hit me with its tail, making me fly back and hit the wall. I coughed blood out and got back up to my feet again. Kir, Seventh Sister, and I all charged at it with the intent to kill. I aimed for its torso, Seventh Sister aimed at its throat and Kir aimed at its long destroyed eyes. Kir''s spear pierced through its destroyed eyes and stabbed into the salamander''s brain while I stabbed into its heart with the vibroblade and Seventh Sisters Lightsaber pierced the salamander''s throat. With all of the fatal injuries we just gave it, it could no longer stand and it fell down to the ground dead. After it died a flash of light appeared and a large chest appeared in the center of the room while also I received a notification of completing a mission. After accepting the rewards of the Boss Slayer 1 mission a new mission took its place. /-----------------------------------------------\\ New Quest! Mission: Boss Slayer 2 Description: Kill the boss on the 20th floor of a dungeon. Rewards: 100 gold coins, a random skill, and a system draw. \\-----------------------------------------------/ I looked in my stats and found that the new skill I gained was called Blood Bind /-------------------------\\ Name: Blood Bind Mana Cost: 100 Level 1-10 Description: Upon casting this spell the target will become paralyzed for 5 seconds. \\-------------------------/ That skill looked insanely useful. I also looked over at my level and found that I hit level 45. I looked away from the skill and started walking over to the chest. 24 Chapter 24 The chest looked old and it was made of wood, it had weird carvings of fire all over it. When we opened the chest we found what looked to be an earring, a ring, and a book. Upon picking up the earring I noticed that it had engravings of fire covering its surface. I examined it and a screen appeared before me. /-------------------------\\ Name: Earring of flame Type: Accessory Rarity: Common Description: This earring was forged from fire iron and a flame stone, the earring provides minor bonus damage to the wearer''s flames and provides a 5% immunity to fire. \\-------------------------/ This was a good accessory but none of us had any skills that used flames. I looked over at the ring and frowned, it looked like a normal iron ring. I picked it up and examined it and when I saw its name and looked at its description I became shocked. /-------------------------\\ Name: Greater Storage Ring Type: Accessory Rarity: Epic Description: A storage ring that has an internal storage space of 500 Square Meters. \\-------------------------/ My eyes glowed at the description of this ring. Without any hesitation, I put the ring on. I looked over at the final item within the chest and picked it up, the book was red with gold on the edges of the book and had a flame symbol on its cover. /-------------------------\\ Name: Salamander''s Breath Of Fire Type: Skill Book Rarity: Rare Description: Upon using the Skill book the user will gain the spell Salamander''s Breath Of Fire. The spell costs 300 mana to cast and will allow the user to spit out a flame to burn everything in front of the user. \\-------------------------/ I did not know who to give this skill book to, in the end, I decided to give it Kir along with the earring. When we wished to return to the surface a screen appeared before us. /----------------\\ Return to the Entrance? [Y/N] \\----------------/ When we got back to the surface another screen appeared before us saying that we unlocked the 10th-floor checkpoint. That will be very useful later. When we returned back to the camp I decided to activate the system draw I got from the rewards of the Boss Slayer 1 mission. Just like all of the times before a wheel appeared before me and began to spin. It stopped on a lightsaber icon. ''Congratulations! For your first prize, you have earned the Jedi Kanan Jarrus!'' My eyes glowed when I saw that I earned a Jedi. One of the main reasons that I have not started learning about the force from Seventh Sister is because the users of the Dark Side of the force are very cruel in their methods of teaching. So I wanted to learn how to use the force from a Jedi. Kanan Jarrus Kanan was born on the planet Caleb Dume, he was a Jedi Knight who survived Order 66 during the Clone Wars. He is also known for training Ezra Bridger in the way of the Jedi. The wheel continued to spin before it landed on a droid symbol. ''Congratulations! You have earned a B2 Super Battle Droid!'' This was a decent award. I ignored it and watched the wheel begin to spin before stopping on a weird symbol I was not familiar with. ''Congratulations! You have earned a squad of Zakuul Knights!'' My eyes glowed at this reward. The Knights of Zakuul, also known as the Zakuul Knights, were an order of Force-sensitive warriors who served the Emperor of the Eternal Empire. They differed in philosophy from both Jedi and Sith of the era, believing that the Force was a tool to be used in the pursuit of justice and that they drew their connection to the Force directly from Emperor Valkorion. These guys will be great guards for this outpost. 25 Chapter 25 I noticed something peculiar about the draws, anyone that was not a force user that I drew from the system started off at level 1 while those that were force-sensitive had levels. The Zakuul Knight''s levels were between level 50 and 60. I had the 6 Zakull Knights delve into the dungeon to earn some experience. I warned them not to go to the 10th floor. The Dungeon was a great source of food for us so I also asked them to bring back some salamander''s as well. We let Kanan go with them as well. While they gained experience on floor 1 through 9 we entered the 10th floor via the checkpoint and started making our way down to the 11th floor. On the 11th floor, we noticed a change, instead of dealing with young salamanders we now had to deal with adult salamanders thankfully the adult salamanders were weaker than the boss of the 10th floor and also slightly smaller as well. We also wanted to see what the effect of the new skill Kir got, the Salamander''s Breath of Fire. Upon activating the spell the veins on his neck bulged and he spat out a large fireball from his mouth. The flame engulfed a salamander but did not seem to affect it much besides making it furious. I guess the skills that we will get from the dungeon will not affect the creatures of the dungeon much. Now that we knew their patterns they were easy foe and it did not take us long to reach the next floor. With every floor, they became slightly stronger than before as well as the heat on the floor increased as well. Eventually, we reached the end of the 19th floor. We rested and ate before preparing ourselves for the fight ahead. Once we entered formation we actually walked into the boss room. [The formation is the long rang users in the back and the close-range fighters in the front] Once we entered the boss room we noticed a significant change compared to the previous boss room. In the center of the room was...a red man with horns and wings. Unlike the previous boss fight, I managed to examine the man. /------------------------------\\ Name: Gullmon The Salamander Tamer Race: Half-Demon Rank: A \\----------------------------------/ Half-demon? I questioned. The man then noticed our entrance and with a hint of anger said "So your the ones that have been killing my pets?!" After the demon said those words his salamander''s charged at us. The salamanders were slightly weaker than the 10th-floor boss. So we split up into 3 teams to take on the 3 salamanders. When we finished off the Salamanders the half-demon became angry and charged at us. He was shockingly fast and arrived at my group in a second. A sword appeared in his hand and he slashed at me. I raised my vibroknife to block and was flung back into the wall due to the demon''s strength. This was going to be a tough and dangerous fight. 26 Chapter 26 After Gullmon attacked me and made me go flying into the wall he changed targets and charged at Kir. Kir raised his spear in resistance but even he couldn''t take the demon''s strike. The New owls then started shooting at the demon. We noticed that the blasters did harm the demon slightly so I had the nite owls fire at it from a distance while the melee fighters will keep it occupied. It appeared that only Seventh Sister could go head to head with the boss. So, Kir and I could only give Seventh Sister assistance while she fought the boss head-on. We fought for over an hour before the half-demon started showing signs of weakness. Gullmon was covered in blood and was heavily breathing. While under our blaster fire and the fierce attacks of the Seventh Sister. Gullmon was on his last legs, he would not survive for much longer. Upon Gullmon''s death, just like before I got the rewards of the Boss Slayer 2 quest and got the Boss Slayer 3 quest. A chest appeared in the middle of the room. We walked over to the chest and opened it. One of the 2 things inside the chest was another Earring of Flame, which we gave to Kir, the second item in the chest was a long sword. I picked the sword up and I noticed the sword had engravings of fire all over its hilt. The sword''s blade was a deep red color and it felt hot to the touch. /-------------------\\ Name: Long Sword of Fire Type: Weapon Rarity: Uncommon Description: This sword was forged inside a volcano with fire steel as its material. Upon attacking the sword will release a flame on the target. \\-------------------------/ I took this weapon for myself because it''s better than the virbroknife in my opinion. The VibroKnife has a short range of attacks and mostly produces large gashes and gruesome cuts. While on the other hand the Long Sword Of Fire has a much longer range and releases a flame upon attacking a target. It too bad we only got 2 items from this chest this time. We traveled back up the surface and rested for a while. Due to my new regeneration skill, I got from leveling my vitality to 100 has been very useful in healing my injuries. .... In the morning I started the system draw I got for as a reward from the Boss Slayer 2 mission. The wheel began to spin and it landed on a category I have not gotten before. ''Congratulations! You have earned 75 Twi''lek citizens!'' Confusion hit me as I heard my reward from the first reward. I got citizens? I did not even think to consider that was a possible reward. In front of 75 Twi''lek citizens appeared. The had a look of confusion at first but then it suddenly disappeared. I asked Kir to direct them to the cave while I continued to wait for the second reward from the draw. The wheel then stopped off the symbol of an object. ''Congratulations! For your second reward, you have earned a Bacta Tank!'' This reward was great but without any power it was useless, so I just let it sit in my inventory. It landed on the clone wars symbol. ''Congratulations! You have earned a Clone Commando Squad!'' My eyes glowed with this reward, the commandos are elite clone troopers that were a result of the Kaminoans'' genetic experimentation with the Jango Fett template, they were special forces soldiers noted for their training and elite status in the clone army. The squad had 4 Commandos within it. We had 83 people within the outpost now, not including droids. The Zakuul Knights don''t gain much from the dungeons so I had the commandos go inside instead since they were level 1. I had the Zakuul Knights guard the Twi''lek civilians while we had a few people buy supplies from the city. Now that we could relax I asked Kanan to teach me about the force and how to use it. 27 Chapter 27 In the middle of a field, you could see a young man floating within the middle of a field with pieces of rocks floating around the man in a sphere [For example, look at Rey''s meditation in the rise of skywalker.] A week has passed since I started learning about the force. The outpost has developed wonderfully, we have been using the gold we have stockpiled to buy supplies we did not have, we built a few houses as well as a wall to protect the outpost. I have forbidden the citizens from entering the dungeon due to how dangerous it is. The commandoes have reached level 20 and can be called supersoldiers when compared to their older selves. Due to the dungeon, we won''t ever have a food problem and there was a river a few miles away so we won''t have any problems with water either. I spent the next week in the dungeon with Kir and the Commandos to grind some levels and improve my mastery of the force. Now that a week has passed and we all leveled I learned some new things about the dungeon, the dungeon''s inhabitants cant leave their respective floors. We also found out that the bosses we killed before respawned and they repeated appeared to be furious at Kir and me due to killing them before. For the entire week, we killed the 10th-floor boss 28 times, and the 20th-floor boss 4 times. From the boss''s chests, we got: 16 Earrings of Flame, 8 Long Swords of Flame, 3 Salamander''s Breath of Fire skill books, and we got a couple of new items in the chest. /----------------------------\\ Name: Long Bow of Fire Type: Weapon Rarity: Uncommon Description: This Bow was forged inside a volcano with Fire Steel and Fire String as its material. Upon attacking the arrow will release a flame on the target. Can form arrows with the user''s mana. \\----------------------------/ The bow was similar to the Long Sword of Fire, but It could form its own arrows with the user''s mana which can be very useful. /----------------------------\\ Name: Salamander''s Hide Type: Skill Book Rarity: Rare Description: Upon using the Skill book the user will gain the spell Salmanander''s Hide. The spell costs 100 mana and will summon scales over the user''s body which will grant the user a stronger defense and a 10% Immunity to fire. \\----------------------------/ This was a good skill for any melee fighters or even pyromancers. /----------------------------\\ Name: Summon Salamander Type: Skill Book Rarity: Rare Description: Upon using the Skill book the user will gain the spell Summon Salamander. The spell costs 200 mana and will summon an Adult Salamander to help the user in a fight. \\----------------------------/ We found 1 Summon Salmander Skill Book, 8 Salmander''s Hide, and 6 Long Bows of Fire. I learned the Summon Salmander Skill book, gave everyone with me a Salmander''s Hide skill book, and I placed the Long Bows of Fire into my storage ring. The commandos have reached level 50, while Kir and I reached level 70. I learned that I could summon as many salamanders as I wanted from the skill book and I also learned that the current level of Salamander''s Hide is equivalent to a baby Salmander''s Hide. We returned to the surface and Kir and I spared to test our new strength and something happened...I finally won in a duel against him! ''Congratulations on completing the mission, Training! You have gotten a new random skill, 5 random draws of your choosing, and 50,000 Exp. You have leveled up!'' [Make sure to Comment Down below for any suggestions on the eras of the draws!] 28 Chapter 28 2in1 Upon looking into my status I found my new skill, it was called Permafrost. /---------------------\\ Name: Permafrost Type: Skill Rarity: Epic Description: At the cost of 500 mana the caster can summon a blizzard of Ice around the user. Sharp pieces of Ice will hit all hostile beings within the blizzard. \\---------------------/ This skill will be great for the dungeon! We returned to the surface and I started the 5 system draws I got. For the first draw, I decided to go with the clone wars. The wheel appeared before me and began to spin. It landed on the symbol of a ship! ''Congratulations! You have earned 6 Kom''rk-class fighters!'' I was happy but confused at the same time, I was happy that I got my first type of ship that allows space travel but I was confused on what these fighters were, so, I summoned one of the fighters in front of me. The Kom''rk-class fighter/transport came in at least two models. One was 68.1 meters in length, with broad, angular, rotating wings. The other was 52.3 meters long. The Kom''rk-class''s wings alternated between an upright landing position when grounded, and a horizontal configuration while flying in the atmosphere or space. While in flight, the wings could also rotate around the vessel''s main body, allowing for increased maneuverability. This ship was perfect for battle in my opinion. I started spinning the wheel once again before it landed on the symbol that got me the citizens earlier! ''Congratulations! You have earned 24 wookies!'' Who didn''t know about wookies? Wookiees are a large hairy humanoid species. They had great strength and could be considered gentle unless provoked. In all honesty, I don''t know what sort of jobs I could give them so I just asked them to rest for now. Now for the finale reward from this first draw. The wheel started to spin and it slowly stopped and landed on the symbol of a weapon. ''Congratulations! You have earned a Defoliator!'' I gladly accepted it because the defoliator was a weapon developed by the Neimoidian General Lok Durd for the Separatist Alliance as part of the research effort of Jedi-proof biological weapons. The defoliator was used in the DDT, a modified Armored Assault Tank. The weapon was specialized to destroy organic life such as clone troopers while preserving machines such as battle droids in combat during the Clone Wars. In short, this weapon was perfect against living targets. I placed the long rage weapon into my inventory and began my next system draw, for this draw I decided to go with the Old Republic Era. The wheel began spinning and then landed on the symbol of people. ''Congratulations! You have earned 135 Humans!'' Wow, that''s a lot of people! I told them to rest for a while, while I started the wheel. It landed on the symbol of a vehicle. ''Congratulations! You have earned a Manka-class Armored Transport!'' That''s great but sadly I won''t be able to use it for a while, so I just placed it into my inventory. Now for the finale reward for the second draw. The wheel began to spin before stopping on the symbol of people. ''Congratulations! You have received 15 Sith Troopers!'' Oh? Sith troopers? I thought that it would give me civilians again. It appears I can get all kinds of people from this category. ..... I spent a few hours getting everything situated before I went back to the draws. For the next draw, I decided to go with the random draw, I would get 3 items from 3 random era''s. The wheel began to spin for a few seconds before stopping on the symbol of a weapon. ''Congratulations! You have received a broken lightsaber!'' I was excited, this was the weapon that symbolized a force user. Sadly it is broken, if I was able to use it then I would be even more excited. I placed it into my inventory and moved onto the next reward. The wheel of symbols stopped on the symbol of people. ''Congratulations! You have earned 18 Human Construction workers!'' Oh, that was perfect right now, we had many people but none of them knew how to build structures and etc. Now that we have builders I asked them to start building houses right away. The wheel continued and stopped on the symbol of a Lightsaber! ''Congratulations! You have earned a Sith Holocron!'' A Holocron?! A floating club that shined a red light appeared before me, I quickly placed into my inventory. I will save the 2 other draws for another time, I need to establish the outpost first before I start drawing again. 29 Chapter 29 For a little, over 2 weeks we focused on building up the outpost. Now the outpost had a wall surrounding the entrance to the valley, a few dozen houses, and a farm. We built the farm because salamander meat gets old real fast. All of the supplies that we needed we got from the local city, we had to start being careful in our purchases due to catching the eye of the lord of the city. To be honest, I''m not worried about the lord of the city. What good is a sword compared to a gun in a battle? Within my house I studied the Sith Holocron endlessly, I learned many secrets about the force that helped me improve my mastery over the force. I will say it''s definitely not easy. When I put the Holocron away and prepared to go outside, one of the Zakuul Knights rushed into my house and told me some urgent news. It appears that a group of Knights in armor appeared at our gates. When I neared the gate I could see a group of 8 Knights standing outside the gate. "Under the name of Lord Hesh, we demand that you leave this place immediately or we will execute you for treason!" the Knight in the front yelled. "Treason?" I questioned the Knight. "What makes you think that we are scared of your so-called ''lord''?" I continued. The Knight looked over and found that a young man was the person insulting his lord. "Oh, it''s only a brat, bring out your leader!" he demanded again. I frowned before I pulled out a Long Bow of Fire, I aimed and fired. An arrow of fire pierced the Knights leg in less than a second, the Knight screamed in pain and kneeled down to the ground. He looked over at me before telling his fellow Knights "Kill them!" The Poor Knights barely lasted a second against the Zakuul Knights that were 30 levels higher than them. Now only the Knight with an arrow in the knee remained. [Cough* I didn''t realize until editing that I made an unintentional reference right here.] The Knight began screaming "Let me go! Otherwise, my Lord will surely get revenge for me!" I sighed before saying "Then it appears your ''lord'' will be joining you in hell." I swiftly shot another arrow into his skull and to my surprise a flame engulfed his body and turned it to ashes. 30 Chapter 30 Somewhere inside the nearby city sat a man within an office. "What happened to Brass''s group of Knights? They should have returned by now...Send a group of Adventurers to scout the area they were heading to." The lord questioned before ordering the man standing by the door. Meanwhile, at the Outpost, we have started up a training program, we send in a group of civilians to delve into the dungeon with the Nite Owls and Commandos. This allows us to level up our citizens and make our outpost stronger, currently, most of the Civilians have hit level 10 through 15. Most of our citizens just want a peaceful life, but I at least want everyone to be able to keep themselves safe in case anything happens. Also if any of the citizens wish to join the guards than they can. And for every new citizen that becomes a guard, I give them a Longbow of Fire or a Long Sword of Fire. We''ve also managed to build enough houses to support the population. Now enough about The Outpost, we will be delving down to the 21st to the 30th floor today. For now, Seventh Sister is still higher leveled then even the bosses we have faced. That does not mean she is stronger than them but It does mean they cant overpower her...for now. We wished to move down to further floors so that we can arm our guards and army with better equipment. Also, Kanan is only a few levels lower than Seventh Sister so he will be joining us in the dungeon delve. So our team consists of Myself, Kir, Kanan, Seventh Sister, and 2 Zakuul Guards. We entered the 21st floor and noticed a new change, this floor did not have Salamander''s but instead had weird creatures that resembled the imps of hell. These creatures were small red men with wings and horns. Some of them used melee weapons while others used magic. Although the Imps that cast magic was rarer they were not that dangerous. Luckily they were only as smart as a child so they were easy to take care of. When we reached the 25th floor we noticed that they gained slightly more intelligence but that did not stop us. Finally, after fighting through hoards of Imps we reached the 30th floor. Inside the boss room of the 30th floor, we noticed another change, it looked like a village. We stood outside its walls while I summoned 2 salamanders into the village. We just waited for the Imps to charge out of the village in fear and just like we thought they opened the gate and rushed out in fear. With their strength and magic, they can do very little harm to the Salamanders hide. Then to my surprise, I felt my link to the Salamanders suddenly vanish. What happened?! Then I heard a loud voice boom from within the Village "Who dares harm my village?!" 32 Chapter 31 "Who dares harm my village?!" the voice yelled. An elderly imp walked forward with a staff in his hands. /-----------------\\ Imp shaman Rank: A \\------------------/ A Shaman? So that means he is a caster? Before we could react the Shaman summoned a fireball and launched it towards us at an alarming speed. The Zakuul Knights jumped forward with their Tower Shields raised. The Fireball smashed into their shields and luckily for us, the shields blocked it and did not even receive any damage. When the Shaman noticed this it yelled in anger and started throwing more Fireballs. The fireballs could not harm the Knight''s shields. Before the Shaman could cast more fireballs, I used one of my untested skills called Blood Bind. [Recieved Blood Bind in chapter 23] Once I casted the spell onto the Shaman the veins all over his body started to bulge. The Shaman started yelling and grunting but to no avail, his body would not move ore follow his will. Now that I had 5 seconds I rushed over to the Shaman before casting Permafrost. Once I felt the mana drain from my body snow and ice started forming around me before it started moving at a fast pace. Suddenly a harsh cold wind appeared and the snow and ice started following the cold wind. A blizzard appeared around me and once the 5 seconds were up I heard the Shaman start screaming in pain. The blizzard went on for 10 minutes before stopping. Once I could see the Shaman I let out a gasp. The shaman was riddled sharp ice all over his body and his skin was very pale, if the Ice did not kill him then the cold definitely did. I was notified that I completed a quest and got the next quest after it. Now I had 3 System Draws. In the center of the village, a chest appeared. We eagerly walked over to the chest to examine the loot contained within, while the Zakuul Knights separated from us to search the village. When we opened the chest we saw 4 items within the chest. The first item looked to be a...pickaxe? /-----------------------------\\ Name: Ancient Pickaxe Type: Tool Rarity: Uncommon Description: Forged long ago with a rare metal, this Pickaxe is able to mine even the hardest of ore. \\------------------------------/ Oh? This seems quite valuable. Before we could examine the next item the Zakuul Knights approached us and reported "Sir, on the outskirts of the Village we found what appears to be a cave." "Oh? Have you searched the cave?" I asked. "Yes sir, within the cave, we found what appeared to be ore within the cave." A Zakuul Knight reported. Ore? I asked the Zakuul Knights to lead me to the cave and it was a short walk to find it. Once we entered the cave outside the village I noticed this ore does not have the appearance of any known ore on earth. The ore was shiny and had weird fire-like veins flowing through it. When I examined the ore to my surprise it was Fire Iron ore! The same material used to forge the long swords of fire and the longbows of fire. This was a great find. I equipped the Ancient Pickaxe and gathered a small amount of ore before leaving the cave and heading back to the chest in the center of the village. 31 Chapter 31 "Who dares harm my village?!" the voice yelled. An elderly imp walked forward with a staff in his hands. /-----------------\\ Imp shaman Rank: A \\------------------/ A Shaman? So that means he is a caster? 32 Chapter 32 Once we got back to the chest we started examing the reaming 3 items within the chest. The first item was a skill book. /-------------------------\\ Name: Fire Ball Type: Skill Book Rarity: Uncommon Description: Upon using the skill book the user will learn the spell Fireball. The spell costs 50 mana. \\------------------------------/ I will be honest the spell was...weak. For example, look at the Shaman, he was spamming this spell even though it was doing nothing to us. I did not want to waste my mana on this spell so I just gave it to one of the Zakuul Knights. The second item appeared to be a necklace. /-------------------------\\ Name: Pendant of Flame Type: Accessory Rarity: Epic Description: A pendant of fire iron that was infused with the soul of a Flame Elemental. Basic Effect 1: Grants 500 mana to the wearer. Special Effect 1: Grants 25% Immunity towards fire. Special Effect 2: Every 72 Hours the wearer is able to summon the Fire Elemental to fight alongside the wearer in combat. Special Effect 3: Grants the ability to summon a cloak of flame around the wearer that burns nearby enemies and gives the wearer 50% immunity to flames. Can only use this ability every 24 Hours. \\------------------------------/ [As you can see I am trying to make the equipment more complex and diverse] This was an amazing necklace! I asked if anyone wanted it but they all said I should be the one to wear it since I am the only person that uses magic within the group. When I put on the Pendent I felt a surge of mana come into my body. I put this wonderful feeling aside and looked at the next item within the chest. The next item within the chest looked like a spear. Kir''s eyes visibly glowed when he laid his eyes on the spear and I could understand why when I examined the spear. /-------------------------\\ Name: Imp hero''s spear Type: Weapon Rarity: Epic Description: It is said that the owner of the spear was a great hero among the Imps. It is said that he was slain when he went up against an army of humans alone, but not until he managed to slay hundreds of humans. Special Effect 1: Grants the User the special skill: Heroic Sacrifice. When the user is facing against all odds for something he cares about the user will receive a bonus of 300 to Endurance and Strength. Special Effect 2: Grats the User the special skill: Hero''s Blessing. The user is given the ability to surpass his limits at the cost of his lifespan. \\------------------------------/ Wow...this weapon is overpowered. I can see why Kir is drooling over this spear. Without a second''s hesitation, I handed Kir the Spear. I ignored his reaction and looked at the finale item within the chest and to my disappointment, it was only a Longsword of Fire... With the floor finished I noticed something. How can I lead these people without proper strength? Most of the dilemmas I have been facing has been solved by the others and not by my own strength. I wished to become strong enough to solve my problems by myself and it appears the System gave me an answer in the form of a quest. /----------------------------\\ Mission Name: Training 2 Description: The host worries over his lack of strength. Requirements: Become strong enough to clear floor 31-50 Rewards: Random Skill, A System draw, and Job advancement. \\----------------------------/ I accepted the quest after a moment''s hesitation. Can I really complete this quest with my own strength? How will know if I don''t try? We walked to the checkpoint and returned to the surface. .... Once we made it to the surface I marveled at the town we have managed to build. We now had many wooden houses and we even managed to train a few guards from the citizens. Many of the supplies we could not find or build ourselves have been bought in the city nearby. It was nearing the night so I went to sleep. When I awoke in the morning I found that we had some new ''visitors'' They claimed to be Adventurers that were hired to find out what happened to the Knights that I previously killed before. When I examined their levels I found that they were weaker than many of the people within the outpost. They insisted that they wished to enter the outpost but we had to refuse them, if they were to see the technology within the outpost then they would probably cause us a lot of trouble. They argued with us for hours before they finally gave up and left the outpost, hopefully, this doesn''t come back to bite me in the butt later on. ... After a few hours passed inside the office in the nearby city sat a man and the adventurers. "So you''re saying there is a camp at the valley where the Knights were heading?" the Man asked the adventurers. The man pondered in silence before asking the Adventurers to leave. Once the Adventurers were out of the room the man commanded a man standing at the side nearby "Have a group of Knights observe this ''outpost'' for a few days, I want to know everything about it." "As you command my lord." the servant says before rushing out of the room. 33 Chapter 33 Inside the outpost, I stood in the middle of an open field. I was preparing to use the 3 system draws I had earned. Perhaps I would gain something from the draw that will help increase my strength? I activated the draw and a wheel of symbols appeared before me. I activated the wheel and it began to spin through a mass of symbols. The wheel began spinning before landing on the symbol of...a lightsaber. ''Congratulations! You have earned a Jedi Holocron! Oh? Another Holocron? What can I use this for? I don''t aspire to be a Jedi so I don''t really see a use for it at the moment. I placed it into my inventory and started the draw once again. The wheel once again began to spin through many different types of symbols before landing on a symbol I have no seen in a long time, a blueprint. ''Congratulations! You have earned the Blueprint of a B1 Battle droid! B1 Battle droid? Interesting...Sadly we don''t have the resources to produce these droids. The B1 battle droids were the main fighting force of the seperetasits in the clone wars. I put away the blueprint and went started the wheel for the finale time for this draw. The wheel spun before stopping on the symbol of a helmet. ''Congratulations! You have earned 200,000 suits of stormtrooper armor!'' ...Huh? I stood there in shock at how many suits of armor I just earned. It''s enough to equip an army! I placed the Suits away and opened the other 2 draws and received 6 different rewards. For the second draw, I earned: 5 bottles of unknown alcohol, 30 DLT-19 Heavy Blaster Rifles, and a speeder bike. I had no use for the alcohol and the speeder bike but I can definitely use the Heavy Blaster Rifles and equip our Guards. For the 3rd draw, I earned a few...interesting things. On this draw, I earned a...corpse of a Jedi, an...aphrodisiac, and a group of Twi''lek exotic dancers... When I walked back into the outpost I received a lot of weird looks when they saw the dancers. Kir suddenly appeared near me and asked "Uh...Sir, we would all appreciate it if you had these women wear more clothes or you took this to your private residence..." I swear when I coughed a bit of blood came out. "Ki...Kir you misunderstand they are our new residents." I told Kir. "Oh...Oh so they are here to join us?" Kir asked. I nodded in confirmation and he led the Women...and men away. 34 Chapter 34 When I left the...men and women to Kir I headed back to my personal house. When I entered my house and closed my door I brought out the Sith Holocron. I still don''t know what era the Holocron came from so I don''t know if anything inside the Holocron is completely true. In my spare time, I have had Kanan teach me Shii-Cho. The first form of Lightsaber Combat. Shii-Cho is the oldest and most elementary form of lightsaber combat developed by the Jedi Order. Shii-Cho is still taught to youngling Jedis because it is the most basic. This style is known to be used when all other forms of combat have failed. Because this form has such early origins, Shii-Cho is not optimized for a lightsaber to lightsaber combat and is used predominantly for defense. I don''t know what form of Lightsaber combat would be the most suitable for me so I have mostly been focusing on Shii-Cho. There are 7 forms of Lightsaber combat. Form 1, Shii-Cho, Form 2, Makashi, Form 3, Soresu, Form 4, Ataru, Form 5, Shien \u0026 Djem So, Form 6, Niman, and Form 7, Juyo (or Vaapad). Every form of Lightsaber Combat has there own style and way of attacking, for example, Form 2, Makashi is usually used by One-handed Lightsaber wielders. In all honesty, I never liked One-Handed lightsabers, I prefer lightsabers that can be either One-handed or can switch between One-Handed and double-bladed lightsabers. So, until I get my Lightsaber I will only train the first form of Lightsaber combat. ........ Meanwhile, outside the Outpost in the distance, you could see a group of Knights in light armor watching the outpost and the guards. Suddenly they heard movement behind them, but before they could turn around a red lightsaber pierced one of the 4 Knights. Then two of the remaining three started floating up into the air before their necks were snapped. Now only one Knight remained. Before the Knight was a woman in black holding a double-bladed lightsaber. Before the Knight could move a small metallic object with a giant red eye floated off of the Women. The Knight tried to run away but was zapped into unconsciousness before he could escape. Then behind the Women, a man in Mandalorian armor appeared and dragged the man to the outpost. ..... While resting inside my house I was informed by a Nite Owl that they have captured someone that was spying on the outpost. This caught my interest and I asked the Nite Owl to lead the way. 35 Chapter 35 The Nite Owl led me to the dungeon. We turned the old Forest troll''s breeding chamber into a dungeon where we could keep a prisoner or any trouble makers. Currently, the Dungeon was holding a Knight that Seventh Sister found spying outside the outpost. When I neared the cell that was holding the Knight I found Seventh Sister walking out from the cell and closing the door behind her. "Did you learn anything from him?" I asked Seventh Sister. "Yes, I learned that she was assigned with a group of Knights to observe our outpost by the lord at the nearby town." Seventh Sister told me. "Oh? Him again? Have the guards stay alert, it will become a problem if any more show up." I commanded Seventh Sister. I walked into the room and tested a new skill. When I first came to this world the ring which allowed me to see my status, inventory, and inspect others it also allowed me to create my own skills and through experimentation, I created 2 new Spells I call Life Absorption and Mana Absorption. /-----------------------------------\\ Name: Life Absorption Type: Skill Rarity: Unique Level: 1/10 Description: At the cost of 500 mana per cast this spell allows the caster to absorb the Life force of a living target. Upon absorbing the vitality of the target you regenerate health and increase your lifespan by a day. \\-----------------------------------/ And. /-----------------------------------\\ Name: Mana Absorption Type: Skill Rarity: Unique Level: 1/10 Description: At the cost of 500 mana per cast this spell allows the caster to absorb the Mana within a living target. Upon absorbing the mana inside an object the caster will permanently gain a small amount of mana in the target. \\-----------------------------------/ These two spells appeared to be insanely overpowered but very expensive mana wise. Once I entered the cell that contained the Knight I noticed that the Knight was covered in blood and looked like he went through hell. It appears that Seventh Sister is good at getting information. The Knight looked at me with eyes full of fear. I looked at the man and cast Life Absorption. A red light shined onto the Knight as he screamed in pain. Many small red balls of light flew out of the Knight and into my body. I looked into my stats and found that my vitality rose by 5 points! My god, this spell is incredible, but when I looked over at the Knights body I noticed that his entire body looked many many years older. I then cast Mana Absorption onto him, but this time instead of red light, a blue light shined onto the Knight. The Knight then fell over to the ground while yelling in pain, when I examined the Knight it turned out that he died. I asked someone to remove the body from the cell and looked into my stats to find that my mana rose by 50 points and my intelligence rose by 5 points! These skills are costly but ever time I cast the spells I gain massive benefits from it! Sadly it requires a living...target...I just had an idea, would it work on the dungeon''s inhabitants? We started making preparations for the winter. While everyone began their preparations, I went into the dungeon''s 21st floor to train and hone my skills on the Imps. Once I reached the 21st floor I started grinding my skills. I slaughtered my way through many Imps groups before I managed to level up one of my skills to the max, Bleeding cut. ''Congratulations! You have leveled your skill, Bleeding cut to its maximum level, do you wish to evolve the skill?'' Evolve? What are my options for the evolution of the skill? /-------------------------\\ 1) Vampiric Cut (Rare) 2) Poisonous Cut (Rare) 3) Cut of Flame (Uncommon) 4) Extreme Cut (Common) 5) Cut of Pain (Common) \\---------------------------/ I won''t decide it for now and just canceled its evolution. I managed to level up after the countless deaths of the Imps and even leveled up twice. I leveled many of my skills to higher ranks and cast both Mana Absorption and Life Absorption on an Imp. Surprisingly with the combination of Body Of Iron, Salamander''s Hide, and Regeneration I was no longer harmed by any of the fireballs they shot at me and I was able to brush off many of the attacks from the imps normal weapons as well. It appeared that the imps were not going to be a challenge to me if I kept upgrading my skills. I started moving down the floors and improving my skills along the way. I leveled the skill Iron body to level 6 and also upgraded the level of Permafrost to the 4th level. After a while, I finally made it down to the 30th floor where the Imp Shaman was located. Once I entered the floor I could see the familiar village from the last time we entered. This time I just walked towards the gate and cast Permafrost. When the Imps noticed a blizzard forming at the gate of their village the Imps opened the gate to investigate. When the Imps noticed me they charged at me with vicious expressions. Suddenly the Blizard grew to a massive size and engulfed the Imps at the gate. The imps away from the blizzard could hear the screams of their comrades as they died to the blizzard. The Imps turned fearful of the Blizzard and did not dare to approach it. Sadly for them, the Blizzard started moving towards the village and it consumed the imps one by one. The Remaining Imps that were alive retreated to the Shaman''s abode. When the Shaman heard the commotion outside it marched out of its home with an angry expression. When the Shaman noticed the Blizzard that was engulfing the town he showed signs of fear. He started summoning fireballs and shot them into the Blizzard. But it was no use, the Fireballs did nothing to the Blizzard. The Blizzard then started getting closer and closer before it engulfed the remaining Imps in the village including the Shaman. Under the effect of the Blizzard the Shaman and the Imps did not last long. From casting the Blizzard Spell I learned some new things, after 10 minutes of the spell being active I have to spend another 500 mana to keep the spell active, theoretically, If I had enough mana I could keep this spell active forever. I deactivated the spell and found all of the imps including the shaman dead. I walked to the center of the village and opened the chest. Upon opening the chest I saw 4 items. The first and second item was another Fireball Skill book and another Ancient Pickaxe. The third and fourth items were new items that we have not seen before. /-----------------------------------\\ Name: Shaman''s Curse of Weakness Type: Skill Book Rarity: Rare Description: Upon using the Skill book the user will learn the spell Curse of Weakness. At the cost of 200 Mana, this spell allows the user to curse his target with weakness. I then looked at the fourth item. /-----------------------------------\\ Name: Shield of Flame Type: Skill Book Rarity: Uncommon Description: Upon using the Skill book the user will learn the spell Shield of Flame. At the cost of 100 mana, the caster will summon a shield of flame in front of them. \\-----------------------------------/ Another useful spell that I could add to my collection. Now that I was done with this floor I headed for the 31st floor. Once I reached the 31st floor I noticed that this floor was much larger than any of the previous floors. After walking for a bit I found the inhabitants of this floor. They looked like Lizardmen and when I examined them I found that their names were...Kobolds? These Kobolds looked like they had the intelligence of a normal human adult, which worries me. I stealthfully watched this Kobold and found that they wore armor and used weapons. This Kobold had leather armor and a rusty iron sword. I launched a fireball at him and when It hit his leather armor and burned through it. It appeared that the fireball did not manage to harm the Kobolds scales. It appeared that these Kobold would be annoying to fight. Please go to to read the latest chapters for free 38 Chapter 38 The Kobold turned to me and charged at me with his rusty iron sword in hand. I quickly dodged his strike and I cast the curse of weakness onto the Kobold. With the Kobold now weaker I started trading sword strikes with it. Luckily my Long Sword of Fire was much better than the Kobold''s rusty iron sword. The Kobold''s rusty iron sword soon shattered into pieces from my relentless attacks. Now that the Kobold no longer had its weapon I cast Life and Mana absorption. The Kobold''s body soon became dry and old from the spells and the Kobold perished. I then started to look for more Kobolds before finding something surprising. A village. There was a village on the 31st floor? I ventured close and found that this village was like the imp village on the 30th floor. I closed in on the village before casting Permafrost. The Kobolds inside the village hurried out of their homes to find out what the commotion was, but they only found that they were in the middle of a Blizzard before perishing. I quickly found that I managed to level up again. I deactivated the spell and found that all of the Kobolds within the village were dead. I left the village and searched for the stairs that would lead to the next floor. Eventually, I did find it. On the 32nd floor, I found more Kobolds and they had much better equipment than the previous floor. and just like the 31st floor, the 32nd floor had another village. Just like the previous village, I killed all of its inhabitants with Permafrost. Once I was done with them I moved onto the next floor and next village. I moved through all of the floors before reaching the end of the 39th floor. I managed to reach level 6 on Permafrost and I leveled up 1 more time as well. Once I stepped into the 39th floor I was hit with a wave of heat. In the distance, I could see a town surrounding a volcano, on the volcano I could see a palace. The Palace was made of a red stone that resembled marble. I will say that the palace looks grand, but sinister at the same time. I started making my way towards the town. Once I neared the walls of the town I prepared for the battle ahead. From my observations, I found that the gate is always guarded by at least 2 Kobold guards in full plate armor and they always were wielding a tower shield and sword. The walls were tall enough that I could not see anything inside the town. Since I could not gather any more information I prepared for battle and walked towards the gate. Once I neared the gate and the Kobold Guards noticed me they rushed at me with their swords raised in the air. I waited for them to near before they suddenly stopped and yelled "Halt! Who goes there?!" I just stood there in confusion. Because I did not expect them to have intelligence. Before I could speak they rushed at me with their swords raised. I had to defend myself! I dodged one of the Kobold Guard''s strikes before piercing his throat with my Long Sword of Fire. The Kobold Guard then fell down to the ground while holding his throat. Upon seeing this happen the other Kobold Guard started yelling for help. Suddenly dozens of guards just like him start rushing out from within the city. I activated both Body of Iron and Salamander''s Hide before activating Permafrost. While the Kobold Guards were under the effect of Permafrost I charged into the crowd of Kobold Guards and started attacking them with my sword. There were at least a hundred Kobold Guards within the blizzard and I managed to kill 20 of them with my sword. To my surprise, after killing a Kobold guard a screen appeared before me. /----------------------------------\\ Do you wish to resurrect this Kobold into an Abomination? [Y/N] \\-----------------------------------/ Huh? An Abomination? Is this the effect of the Vampiric cut skill? I selected yes and a weird red energy floated out of me and into the Kobold Guard. Before my eyes, the red energy formed a cacoon around the Guard and after a minute the Cacoon opened and revealed the Kobold. The Kobold''s iris''s changed into a blood-red and the Kobold''s claws became sharper and more durable. Please go to to read the latest chapters for free 40 Chapter 40 The Abomination''s eyes turned red while its claws became black and durable. More and more Kobold Guards kept rushing out of the town but they were becoming fewer and fewer. I watched as the Abomination tore through the Kobold Guards and sucked some of them dry of their blood. To be honest I did not expect the Abomination to be so powerful. It was also getting stronger with every victim it drained of blood. We walked into the city and after killing around 30 more Kobold Guards another Abomination rose. The Kobold Guards were no match for the two Abominations. Sadly it appeared that the Abominations did not possess any intelligence and only used their instincts. Thankfully they still follow any orders I gave them. We continued walking through the city and to my surprise, I did not see any civilians and only could see Kobold Guards. We started walking towards the Palace that was on the Volcano. We killed another 20 Kobold Guards and got another Abomination before reaching the entrance of the Palace. Now that I got a closer look at the Palace I would say that the Palace was absolutely stunning and the craftsmanship that was put into the Palace was godly. I had the Abominations open the gate and once we entered the Palace we found a new type of Kobold called a Kobold Knight. The Kobold Knights could fight 1 on 1 with the Abominations but sadly for them, I will still here and under the strikes of my sword the fell to the ground and died. I had the Abominations equip the Kobold Knight''s armor and toss away their broken Kobold Guard armor. After walking for a while we found ourselves inside a throne room and to my surprise on the throne was a dragon. I examined it and found that It was called a drake...not a dragon and its rank was A. The drake had Knights surrounding its throne. I told the Abominations to attack the Knights while I fought the Drake. I could sense the Arragoant attitude of the Drake when it looked at me in disdain. I charged at it with my sword and before I could react I was sent flying into a wall. I coughed out some blood and got back onto my feet. I mentally cast Permafrost before charging at the Drake once again. The Blizzard forming around me blocked the drake''s vision and allowed me to land a strike on its scales. I could feel the effect of the Lifesteal as it healed me. I continued to slash and stab the Drake while It couldn''t see me and the Blizzard also continued to shoot sharp ice projectiles into its body. The Drake started to struggle while under my attacks and even breathed fire, but to no avail, he could not manage to hit me or stop the Blizzard and soon died while covered with ice and gashes. We managed to get another Abomination in our ranks when we finished off the rest of the Knights. I received a notification from the system that I completed the boss slayer quest and received my reward while also telling me the next version of the quest is available. I walked over to the throne and found the chest that signified that we completed this floor. Once I opened the chest I saw 2 items. As soon as I left the dungeon I found that I could not find anyone...In the distance, I could see fire rising from the sky near the entrance to the valley I started running towards the fire while worried and when I reached the fire I saw everyone was staring into the forest. I saw Kir and asked him what was going on. "We are not sure either. All we know is that there was an earthquake and an explosion in the forest. Earthquake? Explosion? What the hell happened while I was in the dungeon? Suddenly a loud roar echoes from the jungle. 42 Chapter 42 @@Suddenly what looked to be a Drake flew out of the forest while howling into the sky. Then the Drake looked towards us with an angry expression. I told everyone to stay back as Kir, Seventh Sister, the abominations, and I all charged at the Drake. The Drake flew over us and started spitting out flames in our direction. The Drake eventually landed on to the ground and was swarmed by the Abominations. We could only watch as the Abominations tore the Drake apart. Then I received a prompt saying if I wished to reanimate the Drake. Huh? It died already?! Before I could accept and reanimate the Drake I could see 2 more drakes fly towards us. Why are there so many drakes in this damn forest?! I reanimated the Drake and had the abominations start attacking the 1 of the Drakes flying to us while Seventh Sister, Kir, and I all attacked the other drake. Sadly we had to wait for the drakes to land on the ground before we could attack them. Some of the people with blasters shot at the drakes while we kept their attention on us. Eventually, they landed and we could finally start attacking them. After fighting the drake for 5 minutes we eventually killed it while the Abominations killed the other drake before us. It really appeared that the Abominations were natural born killers. The Abominations also drank all of the blood from the 3 Drakes as well and are now B Ranked Monsters...
