Chapter 4 - 4 Happy Games
Chapter 4: Chapter 4 Happy Games
Backstage at the yer rest area.
His original name was Zhao Mingwei. He had been the captain of the Junlin Team for seven whole years. Many old members of the Junlin Team hade and gone, but this ID "Xixiao" remained, battling for the team for seven years.
Now, most of Zhao Mingwei''s old teammates had retired. For the past year, he had been leading this new group of yers on the professional stage.
Zhao Mingwei was thest to return to the yer rest area. Before he could push open the door, he heard hysterical shouting from inside.
"Why did you substitute me in the third game? Putting that old guy in meant we''d be crushed directly!"
"Feng Yi! This year, White Sword Team''s vanguard is too strong. Your aggressive ystyle would just give them openings!"
"So let Grandpa Xia go and y a retirement match? He''s already won two world championships! He definitely doesn''t want to take another..."
The voice stopped abruptly when Zhao Mingwei pushed open the door and entered the rest area. Everyone''s eyes were on Zhao Mingwei.
Zhao Mingwei adjusted his ck-framed sses and looked at Junlin Team''s starting attacker, Feng Yi. He was a young yer with great potential, just a bit too aggressive.
When Zhao Mingwei looked at him, his eyes were already red, clearly very dissatisfied with the loss in this match.
"Xiao Feng, winning and losing aremon; you''ll have plenty of opportunities in the future." Zhao Mingwei walked up and patted him on the shoulder, but was immediately pushed away.
"Of course you don''t care; you''ve already won two championships! It''s my first time on the world stage! Do you know..."
"Feng Yi!"
The coach interrupted Feng Yi again. He lost control of his emotions, sat back in his chair, and covered his face, crying.
The loss created a heavy atmosphere within Junlin Team. In the end, the coach organized everyone to board the bus back to the hotel.
@@novelbin@@
Zhao Mingwei sat in thest row of the bus, next to his old friend and the only remaining old teammate, Lin Xi.
"Grandpa Xia, feeling tired?" Lin Xi asked quietly, seeing Zhao Mingwei''s solemn expression. "Making the top four is pretty good."
"It''s not about the results." Zhao Mingwei turned his head and stared into his old teammate''s eyes. "Lin Xi, I want to ask you something."
"Grandpa Xia! I didn''t make a single mistake in these four games! Well, maybe one!" Lin Xi immediately raised his hand in surrender, even though they were close; Zhao Mingwei was still the captain.
"You made at least seven mistakes, but that''s not what I want to ask..." Zhao Mingwei paused and then slowly said...
"How long has it been since youughed while ying this game?"
"..."
Lin Xi was stunned for a moment, then forced a smile on his face.
"Grandpa Xia, we are professional yers. This game is our job, and we y it to win."
"It wasn''t like this before." Zhao Mingweiy back tiredly in his chair and closed his eyes.
Lin Xi didn''t dare to continue the conversation, fearing it would lead to discussing ''retirement''.
Although Zhao Mingwei''s skills had declined, his poprity was still at the peak among all professional yers. As long as he stayed in the Junlin Team, even as a mascot, the team''smercial value would skyrocket.
......
Zhao Mingwei returned to his hotel room andy on the bed, staring at the ceiling.
Years of professional training had left him feeling utterly exhausted. For four years, he''d had enough motivation from chasing championships, but this year he really, really didn''t want to y "Conflict" anymore.
But Zhao Mingwei had a binding contract with Junlin Team, akin to a lifetime binding contract, and he had to serve two more years before he could retire.
Zhao Mingwei took out his phone and saw a message from an old teammate in a WeChat group.
"Is there a game more fun than ''Conflict''?"
Zhao Mingwei forced a smile at this message, knowing it was meant as a joke, not a question.
He wasn''t in the mood to read the WeChat messages and aimlessly scrolled through his phone until he noticed a strange icon. The icon was an inverted triangle with two simple words below it.
"Sacred Zero."
He didn''t remember downloading this strange mobile game.
Zhao Mingwei dragged the app icon to the trash can, trying to delete it. But no matter how many times he tried, the icon stayed fixed on his phone''s home screen.
Was there something wrong with his phone? After confirming that his phone was fine and it was the app that had an issue, Zhao Mingwei ran his antivirus software.
But after a thorough scan, the antivirus software didn''t find anything.
Could there still be such powerful viruses out there?
Out of curiosity, Zhao Mingwei decided to open the app. The content inside was simple, just some instructions and a buttonbeled "Login."
He briefly read the instructions, which exined that this was an app for logging into a virtual game world; you could enter the game world the moment you clicked "Login."
A normal person would think this was a scam¡ªdirectly logging into a VR game through a phone? Modern technology hadn''t reached that point.
With a try-it-and-see attitude, Zhao Mingwei clicked in. The next second, the scene in front of him changed instantly. When Zhao Mingwei came to his senses, he found himself in a pure white world.
Translucent data frames floated in front of Zhao Mingwei.
As a veteran yer, everything looked very familiar: character appearance customization, ss selection, character name, etc. It just had fewer options than "Conflict," such as excluding races.
This game currently only allowed ying as humans. Zhao Mingwei spent about an hour creating a decent-looking face for his character. Without a second thought, he chose the Fighter ss and entered the ID "Xixiao." After hesitating for a long time, he deleted "Xixiao" and typed in "Happy Game" instead.
"Character creationplete."
A voice without any emotion sounded in Zhao Mingwei''s ear. The light in front of him quickly faded. When Zhao Mingwei opened his eyes again, he was standing on a street in a majestic main city.
He looked at his hands and saw that he was wearing a pair of half-finger white gloves. His attire had also changed from modern clothes to a Fighter''s training outfit.
"A neer?!"
Before Zhao Mingwei could get used to the system, he heard a warm greeting by his side. He looked up to see a yer dressed as a Mage approaching him.
The yer''s ID was "Today No Update."

Chapter 8 - 8 Future Plans
Chapter 8: Chapter 8 Future ns
Jiang Qiao woke up from his creator state, and the familiar living room was still in front of him. However, the food that Hai Lan was eating had changed from strawberries to cucumbers.
"..." Jiang Qiao looked at the girl gnawing on a cucumber like a prairie dog, opened his mouth but still couldn''t say anything.
@@novelbin@@
Hai Lan, this creator who had not been on Blue Star for long, naturally wanted to try the local specialties of Blue Star.
"I''ve already made the modifications. In the spirit descent state, yers cannot harm anything on Blue Star. Additionally, there is a determination system. When they have the thought of rescuing someone, they will be able to interact with real-world objects for a short time. Simply put, there is no friendly fire. The rest we just wait for nine days until the invasion from that dimension arrives."
Jiang Qiao looked at his phone interface again. The spirit descent option had already turned gray. yers can only activate this function when an Abyss Rift appears.
"Do you have any ns for this world next?" Hai Lan finished eating her cucumber and burped without anydylike demeanor before asking, "Should we first inform the world''s nations about the invasion?"
Jiang Qiao''s gaze shifted to the television in the living room. Hai Lan had already skillfully turned on the TV, which was broadcasting the news.
"How to inform them? Say that the end of the world ising and if you''re a brother,e y Holy Spirit? I''m afraid someone will show up at my door to chop me down."
Jiang Qiao temporarily didn''t have this n, even though some of his family members worked in the government. He knew that telling them this kind of thing would only lead to one possible oue.
First, being taken to a psychiatric hospital for an evaluation, then, after nine days when the invasion arrives, being invited for a tea session.
Jiang Qiao had ways to make those in power believe him, but...
"We can''t be too hasty. If we rush, many things will deteriorate." Jiang Qiao said.
"Deteriorate? The world I create has an infinite shelf life! Unless..." Hai Lan trailed off suddenly.
"Unless it explodes again?"
Jiang Qiao mercilessly jabbed at this failed creator goddess. This time, it was Hai Lan''s turn to open her mouth not knowing how to respond. Frustrated, she picked up another cucumber and started gnawing on it again.
"This game will change the way of life for everyone in this world." Jiang Qiao stopped tormenting Hai Lan and began discussing future ns, "The ability to summon the game world into reality means that everyone will y this game and want to make their game characters powerful."
"Isn''t that great? This has four billion people! All of them bing our warriors, what dimension on the star map can''t we conquer?" Hai Lan''s cheeks puffed out, not realizing that talking while eating is a bad habit.
"Indeed, so everything has to be done gradually."
Jiang Qiao felt helpless too. Currently, the server limit could only support a thousand yers. To expand the server capacity, they had to devour other worlds.
But Jiang Qiao believed that in the future it would eventually expand to an ''open beta'', a time when there was no need to limit the number of yers logging in.
"Also, even if something happens midway, I still have ast resort, making the participants have a small dream during the first dimension invasion."
Jiang Qiao shared his method that he could implement under the creator mode.
"This... will consume a lot of energy." Hai Lan, of course, understood what the so-called dream entailed; it was making the participants believe that everything happened only in the game.
"It''s okay." Jiang Qiao said, "The rest is about my personal ns."
"I''m listening." Hai Lan continued to listen to Jiang Qiao''s ns.
"This is only necessary when there are fewer yers at the early stages. When there are more yers, it won''t be needed. I can create a sub-world or something to serve as the battlefield. For the current stage, the priority is to make money quietly." Jiang Qiao said.
"Sub-world? I feel like I understand a bit, but as long as you don''t reveal your identity, I''m fine with it."
Hai Lan absolutely did not support Jiang Qiao exposing himself as the creator. She didn''t trust any human in this world, except for Jiang Qiao, whose soul was bound to hers.
Initially, Hai Lan was somewhat disgusted by Jiang Qiao, but after being disciplined thoroughly by him in creator mode, she decided to coexist harmoniously with her host.
"What about you? Do you have any ns for the future?" Jiang Qiao looked at the goddess who never seemed to stop munching.
"Me?" Hai Lan fiercely took a bite of the carrot in her hand and then said, "I''m going to eat all the surrounding worlds!"
"Surrounding worlds? Isn''t there only one dimension invading Blue Star?" Jiang Qiao looked at the news on the TV, "The end of the world is reallying, fortunately, the heroes have arrived too."
Chapter 11: Switching Jobs
Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Switching Jobs
Telekinesis Beast¡¤Dragon Tiger Form.
Skill Type: Passive.
Skill Description: This poweres from the Mind Energy Master''s Telekinesis Beast Tattoo. The Telekinesis Beast is a divine beast worshiped in the extreme east of an ancient kingdom, now long forgotten. Although the kingdom has fallen into decline over thousands of years, and the divine beast has vanished without a trace, the bloodline of the Telekinesis Beast, passed down through the descendants of the extreme east, still bears witness to the former glory of this nation.
Skill Attribute: Light attribute enhancement increased by 10%
Zhao Mingwei first looked at the core skill of the Mind Energy Master. This core skill confirmed that Zhao Mingwei would focus on enhancing his light attribute in the future. The skill tree also revealed three more active skills.
The first is the Mind Energy Master''s core output skill.
Spiritual Energy Wave
Skill Type: Active.
Learning Level: Level 25.
Skill Description: Converts spiritual energy into a tangible form and releases it forward, with the enemy having a certain chance to enter an Electric Shock State.
Skill Attribute...
When Zhao Mingwei saw this description, a light sphere appeared in his hand. He could clearly feel the spiritual energy flowing within him, and the skills he mastered were far more than just game icons and data.
The second active skill is Telekinesis Energy Surrounding; its effect summons a Spiritual Energy Orb to protect oneself, with up to three Spiritual Energy Orbs able to be summoned.
The third active skill is named Telekinesis Beast¡¤Dragon Tiger Roar.
This is the skill Zhao Mingwei values the most, a core skill for the Mind Energy Master, a ss that relies on closebat despite being an intelligence-based build.
Telekinesis Beast¡¤Dragon Tiger Roar''s effect is to summon the dragon and tiger from the Telekinesis Beast Tattoo to surround oneself, adding light attribute magic damage to normal attacks.
This ss skill tree also contained many powerful skills. After ncing over a couple of them, Zhao Mingwei felt an impulse to quit his club and dedicate all his time to leveling up.
Unfortunately, reality did not allow him to do so.
Afterpleting the job transition quest, Zhao Mingwei immediately exited the instance space, not wanting to keep Jiang Qiao waiting...
"So, how strong is this ss?" Although Jiang Qiao could guess what skills the Mind Energy Master had, he wasn''t clear on the exact data of the skills.
"Very strong, thank you, master."
As a professional yer, Zhao Mingwei could tell that the Mind Energy Master''s future growth was not weak, and moments ago, he triggered a hidden task.
''ss Main Task Telekinesis Beast Tattoo Collection: The extreme east has been buried in the river of time, but the Telekinesis Beasts still await their master''s arrival in the world''s corners. Heir of the spiritual energy, go and find more Telekinesis Beasts to strengthen yourself!''
So there was more than one Telekinesis Beast!
Upon seeing this hidden main task, Zhao Mingwei understood that this ss had enormous growth potential. While thinking about finding that NPC named Chao Yuan to ask for more details, a friend request popped up.
The applicant''s ID was Daydreaming; Zhao Mingwei knew it was his friend Lin Xi''s ID.
"Master, I want to practice my skills; I have a friend joining too, can we go to a dungeon together?"
In the eight days Zhao Mingwei and Jiang Qiao spent leveling together, their rtionship changed from ordinary online friends to actual friends.
Zhao Mingwei was an idealistic person, or more urately, he hadn''t experienced much of society''s harshness and had a simple view of interpersonal rtionships.
So in reality, Zhao Mingwei was the type of person who... was pretty easy to bully in a certain sense.
"Let''s help meplete the job transfer instance first. If your friend''s level is high enough, they can join us."
Jiang Qiao had a good guess about who Zhao Mingwei''s friend was, the sniper of the Overlord team, Lin Xi, with the game ID Daydreaming, who was also very famous in thepetitive gaming circle, hailed as the ''Sniper God'' by online gamers.
However, in thest two seasons, Lin Xi''s performance had severely declined in matches, underperforming in multiple games and being mockingly called the ''Daydreaming Sniper God'' by online gamers.
Jiang Qiao met the ''Daydreaming Sniper God'' Lin Xi, who''s been idling through nine out of ten matches, at the city gates of Lion Heart City.
His in-game character resembled a gunslinger from the Wild West, simr to the faction he was part of in thepetitive scene.
@@novelbin@@
"Laugh... uh, you''re already level 25? You''ve already done your job transfer quests... Were you sneaking game time during training?"
Lin Xi initially thought his level 23 was quite high, only to find Zhao Mingwei out-leveled him by two levels and was apanied by a level 26 Summoner.
"Don''t talk nonsense, I only y while sleeping." Zhao Mingwei''s voice sounded slightly stern; as the captain of the Overlord team, while his mind was no longer onpetitive games, his strong sense of responsibility prevented him from ying other games during ''work'' hours.
"Okay, I believe you... And this is?" Lin Xi refrained from calling Zhao Mingwei ''Laugh Master'' because Jiang Qiao, an ''outsider,'' was present.
"No Updates Today, a very powerful master." Zhao Mingwei seriously introduced Jiang Qiao to Lin Xi.
"Mas...ter?" Lin Xi was stunned for a couple of seconds upon hearing Zhao Mingwei calling Jiang Qiao ''master,'' then he lightly elbowed Zhao Mingwei and lowered his voice to ask, "Which club is he from? Could he be someone from Upper City Nuclear Club?"
In this world, there were not many yers whom Zhao Mingwei would call ''master,'' but to use ''master'' to address Zhao Mingwei was quitemon.
"Are you professional yers?" Jiang Qiao could hear the low murmurs between Lin Xi and Zhao Mingwei.
"Consider us professionals, but we''re of the second tier." Lin Xi quickly mocked himself.
"Let''s help the master finish the job transfer instance first, it''s almost eight o''clock." Zhao Mingwei tactfully changed the subject to avoid discussing his true identity further.
Jiang Qiao didn''t pursue the matter any further; his goal at this stage was to y along and recruit them when the time was right.
The Elemental Summoner''s job transfer quest was very simple. Compared to the Mind Energy Master''s crazy tform jumping challenge, the Elemental Summoner''s instance just required defeating the four elemental guardians.
The Elemental Summoner''s job transfer instance allowed team entry, but the difficulty increased with more participants. After bringing along Zhao Mingwei and Lin Xi, the instance Boss''s health doubled.
A standard job transfer instance was inherently very straightforward, ssified as the lowest beginner difficulty level, containing only the Fire, Water, Wind, and Dark Elemental Lords as bosses. Zhao Mingwei''s team took less than half an hour to dispatch all four bosses.
''The honor of the Elemental Spirit has been bestowed upon you!''
When the instance waspleted, a system notification popped up in front of Jiang Qiao.
Jiang Qiao also felt a unique power added within him. The Water Spirit and Fire Spirit orbiting him evolved at the moment the job transfer task waspleted.
They emitted a pure white light. When the light faded, the once chibi Water Spirit and Fire Spirit evolved into more pronounced, Q-version two-headed figures.
''The Fire Spirit has evolved into the zing me Maid.''
''The Water Spirit has evolved into the Ice Crystal Maid.''
"These aren''t maids; they''re more like little girls."
Jiang Qiaomented, observing the two Elemental Spirits hovering beside him, who now looked like six or seven-year-old children.
"Master, are you still ying? I also want to switch jobs." Lin Xi, growing familiar, approached Jiang Qiao to inquire. After the battle, Lin Xi was convinced that Jiang Qiao was undeniably... a big shot.
"What job do you want to switch to?" Jiang Qiao also paid attention to Lin Xi''s leveling progress.
Being in the same club as Zhao Mingwei, Lin Xi would definitely be a crucial asset when the Abyss Rift opens.
"Bombardier. I asked at the ss guild, and this is the only gunner ss that can snipe." Lin Xi indeed lived up to his title of Sniper God, always holding the sniper role regardless of the game.
"Bombardier? How about trying Gun Master... that ss also features sniper rifles." Jiang Qiao began rmending a ss capable of dealingrge-scale damage to Lin Xi.
The Bombardier only had two different grenades as early-stage AOE skills, but the Gun Master was different... From the moment of job transfer, a Gun Master was a mobile heavy-weapon arsenal, decimating mobs without hesitation.
"..."
"Trust me, brother, you won''t regret it!" Jiang Qiao advanced, smiling, and patted Lin Xi on the shoulder. Lin Xi nced at the silent Zhao Mingwei.
"I have never yed a gunner before, so I don''t have any guides for you. Make your own choice." Zhao Mingwei shrugged. Back when he and Lin Xi were both yers, Lin Xi had relied on Zhao Mingwei for all guides and advice.
"Does the Gun Master also have sniping? Alright, I''ll give it a try." Lin Xi, after some thought, couldn''t resist the allure of big guns and cannons.

Chapter 12: Chapter 12 Preparation Before the Abyss (Please Rmend~)
Nian Qi Cannon!
Zhao Mingwei''s right palm gathered a white-glowing Nian Qi. He thrust his right hand forward, releasing the Nian Qi, which formed a destructive ball of light that shot towards the distant rebellion leader.
The Nian Qi Cannon hit the rebellion leader, marking a -142 damage above his head, and blue electric arcs appeared on his body.
Electric Shock State! The enemy''s light attribute damage is increased by 1.2 times!
It was now ten in the morning. Zhao Mingwei was in Lin Xi''s Gun Master transfer instance, with the objective of eliminating the rebellion leader before him.
The rebellion leader''s health was down to thest sliver under the attacks from Zhao Mingwei and Jiang Qiao''s fire spirit and water spirit.
Once again, Zhao Mingwei gathered pale blue Nian Qi in his hand. His right hand gathered thunder, and with the sound of roaring thunder, another Nian Qi wave shot out, directly exploding on the rebellion leader''s body.
-152 damage floated above the rebellion leader''s head as he copsed to the ground, his revolver dropping onto the dusty sandy ground, his face filled with unwillingness as he died.
"He''s down!"
Jiang Qiao watched as the instance environment quickly disintegrated. Transfer instances were mostly illusions. Regaining his senses, he found himself back in the Gunner Guild.
Zhao Mingwei didn''t respond to Jiang Qiao; instead, he stared nkly at his hands.
The feeling of releasing the Nian Qi Cannon was indescribably exhrating, entirely different from pressing a button to release a skill with a game controller in a VR game.
He could feel the Nian Qi umting inside him as it guided out through his hands, causing destructive effects!

''It''s ten thirty in the morning, it''s time for your training,'' Lin Xi sent a private message to Zhao Mingwei.
A reminder that his fun time was over for the day. Lin Xi also seemed a bit reluctant. He had justpleted his transfer quest and hadn''t even had time to check his new skills before needing to log out.
"Master, we have to go to work. Let''s log off for today," Zhao Mingwei ryed the message to Jiang Qiao.
"See you tomorrow."
Jiang Qiao waved as the two professional yers disappeared from his sight. He nced at the time; it was nearly ten thirty.
At that moment, Jiang Qiao opened a portal with a wave of his hand and stepped into the high tower at the top of Lionheart City''s castle¡ªthe Star Observation tform.
"Great God..."
Four elderly NPC Stargazers had been waiting for Jiang Qiao for a long time. This NPC was designed to monitor the nearby invading dimension and also knew Jiang Qiao''s identity.
"You may leave."
Jiang Qiao walked to the center of the tform, where there was an altar-like creation. Jiang Qiao ced the "Book of the System" on the altar.
The surface of the "Book of the System" emitted a scorching light, projecting various light balls inside the tform.
"The Demon Star ising," an NPC Stargazer, who had retreated, eximed fearfully, looking at the star map in mid-air.
"Hai Lan, can you mute the nearby NPCs?"
The NPCs Jiang Qiao created were semi-intelligent. They operated based on pre-set programs but asionally made special judgments. Jiang Qiao had also given them the potential to evolve.
This meant these NPCs could develop emotions over time, but it would take a long period before that happened.
Hai Lan waved her hand, and the NPCs around her fell like robots whose power had run out. She thennded beside Jiang Qiao, looking up at the star map.
"The invading dimension will reach the main world in about four hours. Are you ready?" Hai Lan magnified the star map showing Blue Star.
The pitch-ck orb near the Blue Star was so close that its light was gradually being swallowed and torn apart by the ck orb.
"Should I say are we ready? What do you think we should offer as rewards for this Abyssal hunt?" Jiang Qiao asked.
"Rewards? Just give those yers equipment. Haven''t humans always craved powerful items?"
Hai Lan said as she conjured arge array of virtual equipment, all created by Jiang Qiao, the creator.
The equipment ranged in quality from gray, worn-out quality, white normal quality, blue magic quality, purple rare quality, orange epic quality, to dark gold legendary quality.
The equipment Hai Lan showed to Jiang Qiao mostly consisted of blue, magic quality items, with asionally a rare purple item.
Currently, level twenty-five yers mainly had magic equipment, with rare equipment already being scarce, and epic items being extremely rare.
"Given the current leveling pace, twenty-five is just an interim level. Even good level twenty-five gear has limited appeal. Let me think... mounts."
Jiang Qiao entered a search state and found thousands of mount types he had created in his memory.
yers hadn''t yet unlocked the mount system. Jiang Qiao chose four typical mounts, such as the Chocobo and warhorse for standard mounts, and ghost dragon and griffin for flying mounts.
Summoning items for the mounts appeared on the observation tform, including bridles, feathers, and whistles...
"Equipment is still necessary. Level twenty-five interim gear isn''t very attractive. Let''s create a growth equipment system."
Jiang Qiao opened the equipment editor and began crafting.
"What is growth equipment?" Hai Lan floated behind Jiang Qiao, watching him add attributes to a ring.
"Equipment that grows with the yer, a special red quality item, usable from level zero to max level."
In less than half an hour, Jiang Qiao finished crafting the ring.
Soul-absorbing Ring
Quality: Special growth equipment.
Level: 0
Description: This ring can absorb souls to enhance itself, releasing three different skills when certain soul thresholds are reached.
Equipment attributes: None.
Currently collected soul count: 0.
Jiang Qiao spent another two hours creating a bunch of weird growth equipment. Some were nearly useless, fitting for April Fool''s Day jokes, while others in a skilled yer''s hands would be top-tier items.
"Done." Jiang Qiao created an item called the "Unbreakable Storage Bag," stuffing it with some created equipment, including level twenty-five rare and epic equipment, as well as mount bridles.
Jiang Qiao had created about thirty pieces of special equipment, each consuming between fifty and three hundred points of energy. The total consumption reached nearly one thousand five hundred points.
With four thousand six hundred points avable, this was a significant expenditure. Thankfully, once these items were created, copying them would only require one-fiftieth of the initial energy consumption.
Creating special equipment consumed the most energy, followed by orange and dark gold items. Higher-level equipment required more energy, with negligible consumption for blue and white items. Creating epic and legendary equipment in the future would be extremely costly.
This session made Jiang Qiao keenly aware of his vast need for creation energy and the importance of raising the yer level cap.
Currently, the yer level cap was fifty. Raising it further required more than Hai Lan devouring world fragments.
"Next, it''s up to you, Hai Lan." Jiang Qiao secured the storage bag, filled with various items, and handed it to Hai Lan.
"Up to me for what?" Hai Lan eyed the storage bag, taller than herself, with unease.
"Have you heard of Santa us? I haven''t figured out how to ce items inside invading dimension monsters yet, so during the Abyssal hunt, you''ll distribute the looted gear, Hai Lan."
"You want me to fly around with this massive bag?"
Hai Lan realized Jiang Qiao''s n.
"Is there a problem?" Jiang Qiao smiled at Hai Lan. Though she wanted to argue, Jiang Qiao''s creator mode scared her into grudgingpliance, "I understand, I''ll do it."
"The Abyss Rift will open in two hours. Hai Lan, killing those monsters gives both yers and us experience, correct?"
Jiang Qiao pointed to his remaining energy of about three thousand points, not a small amount but not much either. His biggest issue was theck of means to recharge, with hunting other dimension creatures as his only option.
"Creatures from other dimensions, once they leave their worlds, be detached from their world''s cycle. yers killing them absorb their power to strengthen... me," Hai Lan said, cing a hand on her chest.
"That''s good."
Jiang Qiao watched the ck invading dimension tearing the spatial barrier of Blue Star.
"The celebration... begins. Hopefully, in the future, we''ll invade them instead of waiting to be attacked," Jiang Qiao murmured, ncing at his dwindling energy reserves.
Chapter 14 - 14 The Hero Appears! The Hero Appears!
Chapter 14: Chapter 14 The Hero Appears! The Hero Appears!
Run!
The first thought in Zhao Mingwei''s mind was only this.
Just like the coach of the Kings Squad said, in the real world, he was just an ordinary person, an Inte-addicted teenager...
The only way to deal with these monsters was to run away.
In fact, Zhao Mingwei did just that. Panic spread within him, and he immediately sprinted with the panicked crowd to the other side.
But amid the chaos, he vaguely heard a baby''s cry. Zhao Mingwei nced back and saw a woman being pushed to the ground by the crowd.
The monsters behind him were already very close. If Zhao Mingwei ran back now, it would only lead to death.
Someone would rescue her, maybe the police or firefighters.
This was the thought that shed in Zhao Mingwei''s mind. As an ordinary person, he shouldn''t be acting bravely at this moment.
But the problem was... that girl was a fan of the Kings Squad!
Zhao Mingwei saw the logo of the Kings Squad, Unfallen Crown, on her clothes.
The food street of Jiangcheng was just two stops away from the headquarters of the Kings Squad, so many fans lingered here, hoping to encounter their idols.
Damn it!
Zhao Mingwei came to a sudden halt, restrained his trembling legs, and ran toward the fallen girl.
He believed this was the dumbest decision he had ever made, even more foolish than joining the Kings Squad years ago!
"Stand up," hemanded.
Zhao Mingwei reached the girl and extended his hand to help her up.
Just as she was about to stand and run, a sound of ss shattering suddenly rang out.
A gigantic orc, standing three meters tall, smashed a building nearby with a heavy mallet, causing debris and ss to rain down on Zhao Mingwei.
It''s over!
Zhao Mingwei closed his eyes. The chunks of concrete didn''t hit him but did fall on the girl''s legs.
"Are you okay?" Zhao Mingwei pressed his hand against the edge of the concrete, trying to lift it off.
But he was too weak. Blood seeped from his palm, yet he couldn''t move the concrete an inch.
Damn, damn, damn! If only he had one-half, no, one-tenth of his game character''s strength, he could have moved this damned concrete!
But he didn''t...
"Leave me alone," the girl realized she couldn''t survive and shouted to Zhao Mingwei.
Zhao Mingwei looked up and saw that he was already surrounded by a horde of orc-like creatures. The word "terrible" shed in his mind again, and a car nearby suddenly exploded.
The huge shockwave broke the formation of the orcs but also mmed Zhao Mingwei hard against a wall.
He copsed to the ground, his consciousness began to fade, but the panicked voices of the crowd remained exceptionally clear to him.
In the real world, he was this powerless.
Wait, real world game, could this be Abyss Hunt?
Zhao Mingwei looked at the orcs approaching the girl and took out his phone with his severely injured right hand.
It lit up!
The "Summon" button on the phone interface lit up!
Could it really be? Zhao Mingwei didn''t think further; an orc had already raised its mallet to strike the girl.
In that critical moment, he pressed the summon option.
In an instant, his consciousness was rapidly pulled away, just like when he logged into the game.
When Zhao Mingwei opened his eyes again, he felt a familiar power enveloping him... Mind Energy!
"Weak human,"
He heard the orc''s voice. Zhao Mingwei looked up at the orc and with one punch sent it flying three meters away.
"Xiao... Little Uncle?"
The girl murmured in disbelief. The silhouette of this Mind Energy Master looked too much like that man.
But that man''s silhouette only appeared in the game.
"You''re tired, sleep now."
Zhao Mingwei effortlessly lifted the debris crushing her, carried her to a safe ce, and set her down.
Then he quickly returned to the spot where the Abyss Rift had opened.
Zhao Mingwei looked at his hands, the Telekinesis Beast Tattoo visible on his arms, along with the strong muscles and physique. This perspective was just like in the game.
He had summoned his game character into the real world.
The orcs roared and surrounded Zhao Mingwei, who fearlessly stared back at them.
"So this is the Abyss Hunt event?" Zhao Mingwei slowly ced his left hand in front of his chest in a semi-prayer gesture. His eyes opened slightly, thunder shing in his pupils. "Ready to turn into experience and gear?"
"You''re the one who''s damned!" the orcs roared and swarmed towards Zhao Mingwei.
But a louder roar, enough to pierce anyone''s eardrums, exploded from Zhao Mingwei. Simultaneously, arcs of electricity and powerful mind energy erupted from him.
The mind energy blew away all the surrounding orcs, mming them into the walls around them.
At that moment, Zhao Mingwei''s skin turned pure white, like light, with arcs of electricity flickering between his pupils. The phantom of a dragon and tiger loomed behind him, roaring skyward, the scattered thunder apanied by the roar shattering the orcs'' weapons around them.
Telekinesis Beast¡¤Dragon Tiger Roar!
The phantom of the dragon and tiger remained even after the roar, coiling behind Zhao Mingwei and baring its fangs, ring fiercely at the group of orcs.
After being intimidated by the dragon and tiger, the orcs dared not take a step forward.
Then a three-meter orc wielding a massive hammer walked towards Zhao Mingwei, the ground trembling with each step.
@@novelbin@@
Deep blue energy gathered in Zhao Mingwei''s right hand. When it umted beyond what his hand could hold, he thrust his right hand forward.
Energy Cannon!
The mind energy transformed into a vicious dragon-tiger that shot towards the massive orc. The destructive energy exploded on the orc''s chest, arc lightning coursing through its body... causing it to lose bnce and fall backward.
The orc crashed into a car, nding heavily on the ground, with its chest turned into a scorched mess of flesh and bones.

Zhao Mingwei saw the system notification, but the monsters in the game didn''t have such gory injury effects!
Chapter 18: Gone! With the Battlefield Doctor
Chapter 18: Chapter 18: Gone! With the Battlefield Doctor
''You killed the Vanguard of the Annihtion Legion, Airey, and gained 91,244 experience points.''
This line of text popped up in Jiang Qiao''s system notification, and the other yers who participated in the raid also received the same experience reward.
But the yers came here to take down this BOSS not for the experience! But for the equipment! The kind of red and orange equipment.
After Airey disappeared without dropping any equipment, the yers were still in doubt when a rainbow of red and orange lights suddenly appeared in the sky. At the same time, a blinding golden light burst forth, dazzling all the yers.
"Looks like it''s legendary gear?"
"Did... did it drop? And so many pieces?"
The yers realized that the rainbow explosion in the sky wasn''t rain, but over 300 pieces of legendary and special equipment.
Jiang Qiao looked at the golden sh in the sky. He swore he had never seen so much epic equipment drop at once in his life.
Unfortunately, this golden rain was arranged by Jiang Qiao himself.
Hai Lan, who was invisible in the sky, opened the ''Unbreakable Storage Bag,'' like a Santa us, bringing gifts to every yer.
Yes, every yer who participated in the raid received a piece of legendary equipment, special equipment, or a mount rein.
These pieces of equipment fell like meteors across the night sky andnded in the hands of each yer.
Jiang Qiao was able tomunicate mentally with Hai Lan, and during the hour Jiang Qiao was busy taking down the BOSS, Hai Lan had been busy selecting appropriate equipment for every ss to gift them.
This method of gifting equipment also had a probability factor, with each yer receiving one from the categories of legendary equipment, special equipment, or mount reins.
"I got a legendary item!"
Jiang Qiao hadn''t even had time to check what equipment he received when a giant shield warrior who had been smashed into a can by Airey held up a golden shield and shouted with joy.
His gesture with the shield resembled a wrestler holding up their championship belt in the ring.
The experience of being repeatedly ttened by the BOSS for an hour seemed worth it under the golden glow of this shield.
"Short de, don''t get too excited. I got a legendary item too!" the warrior''s teammate reminded him that he wasn''t the only one to get legendary gear.
"Level 25 legendary gear won''tst long. Getting special equipment with no level restriction is the real deal."
Some yers still understood. Level 25 is considered a low level in many online games, and it passes quickly.
Based on the game''s pace, level 25 equipment would be reced by level 35 gear at most.
Inparison, special equipment could be used indefinitely, even if the drop rate was lower.
The warrior scanned the people nearby. Most of them had gotten legendary equipment and mount reins, with only about thirty people receiving special equipment. Zhao Mingwei was one of them, holding a floating red-glowing orb.
Light Elf''s Memory, he actually got it. Zhao Mingwei looked at the tiny orb, unable to suppress a smile.
Jiang Qiao also got a piece of legendary equipment¡ªa magic wand for Summoners, which had decent attributes for now.
The yers were immersed in joy, but the surrounding orc roars soon reminded them that this instance was far from over.
"Hai Lan, give all healer-ss yers a quest." With the level 25 epic magic wand ''Fire Elf''s Prayer'' equipped, Jiang Qiaomunicated with Hai Lan mentally: "Heal the injured NPCs in the Abyss Rift area. Healing ten people will earn the reward of a mini gryphon rein."
Hai Lan hadpletely evolved into Jiang Qiao''s diligent worker. She had noints, as she watched the yers from above efficiently killing monsters like locusts.
She had to fly around and asionally drop some blue and white items to fill up the loot.
But this Abyss Hunt was undoubtedly a win for the yers, and now Jiang Qiao and Hai Lan just needed to handle the finishing touches.
......
The healer named "Add Healing Without Extra Charge" received an epic robe called ''Holy Light,'' which increased her healing by five percent.
"Damn! Why isn''t it Grona''s Money Jar!" Add Healing Without Extra Charge angrily threw the epic robe to the ground.
She joined the Abyss Hunt specifically for a special item that increased the Gold Coins gained from monsters, elites, and bosses by fifteen percent, the special equipment Grona''s Money Jar.
Even if it wasn''t this special item, other special items would have been eptable to her.
Because legendary equipment binds to yers, but special equipment can be traded, with minimalbat attribute bonuses but useful effects that make it usable up to level 100.
In Add Healing Without Extra Charge''s perspective, special equipment would sell for big money in the future!
As she pondered how to continue extorting other yers in the Abyss Rift, a quest popped up.
''Timed Quest: Aid the Injured: Heal ten injured individuals to earn the reward of a mini gryphon rein, with an additional reward of five silver coins for each subsequent injured person healed. The locations of the injured have been marked.''
Mini gryphon? Mount?
Right! Mounts in this game can also be traded!
Add Healing Without Extra Charge quickly ran towards the marked locations of the injured, which were situated behind the defense line set up by soldiers. Using an invisibility potion, she snuck in.
When she exited the defense line, she found herself still within the Abyss Hunt area but very close to its edge.
Is this reality?
She paused briefly but quickly moved to one of the injured''s side. The injured person''s appearance was like that of a modern human, despite the game having technological professions; Add Healing Without Extra Charge wasn''t dumb enough to mistake him for an NPC.
The injured person''s leg was crushed, and with the ambnce and doctors attending to others elsewhere, he could only sit on the ground and wait painfully for help to arrive.
@@novelbin@@
Add Healing Without Extra Charge immediately cast quick healing. Her heart raced as she cast it, not knowing if the healing magic from the game would work on a real person.
But it worked!
Add Healing Without Extra Charge watched the wound on the injured person''s leg heal rapidly, and her eyes lit up!
"Who...who are you?" The injured person saw Add Healing Without Extra Charge''s strange attire and was sure she wasn''t a doctor.
"I''m a nurse!" Add Healing Without Extra Charge said.
"..." Before the injured person could express surprise at his rapid recovery, Add Healing Without Extra Charge suddenly extended her hand.
"Five silver coins for the healing, please!" Add Healing Without Extra Charge added.
"Sil...silver coins?"
The injured person was confused, having never heard of such a currency in the world.
"Oh my, let me think..." Add Healing Without Extra Charge smacked her forehead before reaching out to the injured person again. "Three hundred bucks per treatment! Non-negotiable!"
"Thr...three hundred! So expensive." The injured person wasn''t wealthy.
"No money? I can break your leg again!"
The cross in Add Healing Without Extra Charge''s hand suddenly erged, bing massive enough to smash a person into the ground.
"Three hundred bucks! Here you go!" The injured person, seeing the hammer-sized cross, was instantly terrified and hurriedly handed three hundred bucks to Add Healing Without Extra Charge.
The hospital would charge him at least ten to twenty thousand, with potentialsting consequences for his injury.
Add Healing Without Extra Charge''s quick healing was potent, instantly replenishing him to full recovery.
Add Healing Without Extra Charge initially couldn''t grab the three hundred bucks as her hand passed through like a ghost, but she managed to grasp it after several tries, finally seeding on the seventh attempt.
She was satisfied and quickly moved on to another injured person.
She regretted not adding more points to agility, but thanks to the quest''s marking feature, Add Healing Without Extra Charge managed toplete the injured healing quest within ten minutes, earning three thousand bucks and fifty silver coins.
With such an easy way to earn money, she naturally increased her efforts. After saving the thirty-second injured person, there were no more marked injured within the Abyss Rift.
Looking at her nine thousand, six hundred bucks, Add Healing Without Extra Charge suddenly turned her gaze toward the direction of Jiangcheng''s First Hospital.
Was it possible... She stepped forward, trying to exit the Abyss Rift boundary, but the scene before her turned grayscale as her extended foot vanished the moment she crossed the boundary.
''You are about to leave the instance, do you want to exit?''
A prompt window appeared before Add Healing Without Extra Charge.
Okay... it''s not possible.
Add Healing Without Extra Charge stepped back, and another prompt popped up.
''The Abyss Hunt will end in ten seconds, please prepare to leave the instance.''
It''s over? Oh no! What about my nine thousand bucks!
Add Healing Without Extra Charge quickly tried to stuff the wad of cash into her newly equipped epic robe, Holy Light, but it was useless... this epic robe didn''t even have a pocket!
Useless robe! Add Healing Without Extra Charge nced at the countdown showing four seconds left before logging off.
In a sh of ingenuity, she opened her backpack and tried inserting the nine thousand, six hundred bucks into the bag like feeding paper bills into a vending machine...
The backpack... actually epted her nine thousand, six hundred bucks.
"Phew..."
Add Healing Without Extra Charge looked at the ny-six one-hundred bucks notes in her backpack and felt a mix of emotions. After taking onest nce toward the First Hospital, she logged out of the Abyss Rift.
Chapter 20 - 20 Future Challenges
Chapter 20: Chapter 20 Future Challenges
The next day, Junlin Club.
Zhao Mingwei finished his training and was looking at the news on his phone.
This kind of straightforward inte-addicted youth rarely looked at the news, but since yesterday he had been scrolling through the news on Weibo all day.
News about Jiang City''s food street.
But there was nothing... There were no orcs, no abyssal hunting, and there was not even a sign of any damage on Jiang City''s pedestrian street.
Weibo only had news about a building fire on Jiang City''s food street, with the fire brigadeing to the rescue.
If not for the piece of Light Elf''s Memory still quietly lying in his equipment slot, he would have doubted whether everything fromst night was real.
"Xiao Ye, what gear did you get from abyssal hunting yesterday?"
Lin Xi brought his lunchbox and approached Zhao Mingwei. Lin Xi''s personality was not as stable and straightforward as Zhao Mingwei''s; he had a more boastful type, and especially loved to boast.
Judging by Lin Xi''s demeanor, he must have gotten some good gear from abyssal hunting yesterday.
"Light Elf''s Memory." Zhao Mingwei opened the app on his phone, brought up the equipment disy function, and showed Lin Xi his gear.
"Special equipment, forget I asked." Lin Xi smacked his lips. Yesterday, he had gotten a level twenty-five epic hand cannon from abyssal hunting, intending to boast to Zhao Mingwei, but Zhao Mingwei''s gear was even better.
Zhao Mingwei did not pursue Lin Xi for details about the abyssal hunt. He had already asked Lin Xi on the night he returned.
Lin Xi confirmed that he had indeed participated in the Abyss Rift, and it was set in a virtual Jiang City food street scenario, but when Zhao Mingwei mentioned ''the monsters appeared in the real world,'' Lin Xi''s response was that Zhao Mingwei was under too much pressuretely and needed a break.
This made Zhao Mingwei''s hair stand on end, to the point that he did not touch the game the entire night.
"Zhao, the gifts from the fans are piling up at the front desk, should I bring them up for you to see?"
A club staff member suddenly poked his head into the training room and asked Zhao Mingwei.
"Bring them all over." Zhao Mingwei said.
The staff member¡ªnot just one but two or three staff members¡ªbegan to move arge pile of variously packaged gifts to Zhao Mingwei''s seat.
"Tsk tsk, Xiao Ye... We debuted at the same time, why doesn''t any fan remember me?"
Seeing so many gifts, Lin Xi instantly felt a bit envious. Themon practice in the club was to let the staff handle all fan-sent gifts, but Zhao Mingwei was one of the rare professional yers who personally looked at each gift.
Zhao Mingwei rarely posted on Weibo, barely visible on Tieba, and he was simply a forever lurker on the forums, so he seldom responded to fans online.
But Lin Xi knew that Zhao Mingwei was very attentive to the things fans sent. He would read each letter and keep it well, wear clothes if they fit, and pile them up in the wardrobe if there were too many. As for the food... Lin Xi would taste it first to check for poison, then the rest of the club would join in.
"I remember there are a lot of posts berating you on Tieba; you could consider that a form of memory too." Zhao Mingwei may have been a straightforward guy, but his sarcasm was no less sophisticated than Lin Xi''s, especially when it came to jabbing at Lin Xi.
"Damn it, just saying that makes me angry. Yesterday I used a smurf ount to curse at an idiot for over a hundred replies, sigh! I''ll help you open the gifts." Lin Xi began to rip open the fan-sent gifts, and Zhao Mingwei casually picked up a few and started checking them out.
Suddenly, he saw a packaged fried chicken cutlet. Sending food was amon interaction method for fans living around Junlin Club, but most clubs banned it altogether, even prohibiting fans from sending gifts directly. Junlin Club was the only exception, which even had a dedicated security check station built.
The chicken cutlet was indeed from Zhao Mingwei''s frequently visited ce on Jiang City food street, but the note on it made Zhao Mingwei''s hand freeze momentarily.
The note had simple content, only four words long.
Thank you, keep it up!
Zhao Mingwei stared at the four words for a long time in silence. He didn''t say anything and opened the stic bag to start eating the chicken cutlet.
"Lin Xi, will you join the game tonight?" Zhao Mingwei asked while eating.
"For sure, I have to join. I got a level twenty-five epic hand cannon yesterday but haven''t had much chance to use it." Lin Xi suddenly remembered something and added, "Old Song will join too. He contacted me yesterday, his game ID is Mo Shigui."
Old Song''s real name was Song Zhenning, a coach for the Upper City Nuclear Team, and he was a former teammate who had established the Junlin dynasty with Zhao Mingwei. Three years ago, he had a disagreement with Junlin Club''s management, was forced to retire, and moved to Upper City Nuclear Team as a coach.
"Old Song has an ount too? Let''s arrange a time tonight to run some instances together." Zhao Mingwei said.
......
In the morning, Jiang Qiao was still benefiting from the ne Fragment, considering how to utilize the twenty-two square kilometers ofnd and to whom the one hundred yer slots should be given.
But what really caught Jiang Qiao''s attention was that the area of star map exploration had expanded.
"There are so many fragments around Blue Star..." Jiang Qiao held the System Book, which disyed ne Fragments of different colors.
These ne Fragments remained stationary, unlike the scarlet and jet-ck nes that wandered around, devouring others.
The System Book also included the creator''stest exnation from Jiang Qiao.
''These new ne Fragments can be viewed as extra instances and side quests in the game, each with its own operating rules. Once the invasion feature is activated, we can let yers enter them to gather the energy needed to create worlds and increase the server''s yer limit. Right now, I highly rmend this ne Fragment.''
After reading the exnation he wrote, apletely white ne Fragment quickly zoomed into Jiang Qiao''s view.
At this moment, Jiang Qiao saw all the data of this ne Fragment.
Special ne Fragment
ne Category: Magic¡¤Supernatural.
Civilization Level: None.
ne Size: Ten kilometers.
Creature Level: 30~60.
World Rules: Iplete time cycle, iplete life cycle, plete physicalws, intermediate magicws...
These data were not much, but Jiang Qiao focused on the ne Introduction attached by himself as the creator.
@@novelbin@@
''This ne is a derivative fragment of aplete world, prising merely one tall tower. Creatures from another world have spent hundreds of years challenging this tower but none have reached the Tower Master''s presence. This ne contains only one self-aware entity, while other challenge creatures resemble in-game monsters with fixed attack patterns. Lastly... Hai Lan''s current level is insufficient to detect aplete world ne, but you can bring yers to challenge it for further information¡ªCreator, Jiang Qiao.''
"Reading my own notes feels weird." Jiang Qiao finished reading andmented, "Isn''t this a Sky Tower? Or... a Tower of Death? Well, I think it''s perfect for yers to level up, and it can increase the server''s yer limit. Let''s go with this."
Jiang Qiao now needed to achieve four creator metrics: Creation Energy, the server''s yer limit, the game map area, and the yer level cap...
He had ways to obtain the first three metrics by killing creatures from other nes. yers earned experience while Jiang Qiao gathered creation energy, and the server''s yer limit increased as well.
Expanding the game map requiredplete absorption of other ne Fragments. This was simple too; Jiang Qiao could easily swallow one or two small ne Fragments to expand further.
The tough part was the yer level cap, which was essentially the maximum level for all creatures in the game.
For now, Jiang Qiao could only create NPCs and monsters up to level fifty. To raise the level cap, he needed to collect Hai Lan''s Divine Fragments.
"I remember there''s a Divine Fragment of Hai Lan near Blue Star." Jiang Qiao searched on the star map and indeed found a deep blue ne Fragment.
Hai Lan''s Divine Fragment World¡¤Small.
ne Category: Magic¡¤Supernatural¡¤Chaotic.
Civilization Level: Medieval.
ne Size: Thirty-seven kilometers.
Creature Level: 50~60.
World Rules: Iplete time cycle, iplete life cycle, plete physicalws, advanced magicws...
ne Introduction: Don''t even think about it! We need all yers at the max level to tackle this instance. There are a bunch of annoying creatures inside, so hurry up and recruit more people, increase the server''s yer limit, and level up yourself¡ªCreator Jiang Qiao.
Am I roasting myself? Also, shouldn''t I be more serious in creator mode?
Jiang Qiao found these notes rather speechless, but they did indeed remind him it was time to publicly reveal this game to Blue Star''s yers.
Chapter 22 - 22 Game Testing Qualification (Third Update Request for Recommendation!)
Chapter 22: Chapter 22 Game Testing Qualification (Third Update Request for Rmendation!)
In less than an hour, Jiang Qiao managed to shift the me onto the Tian Gong One Three terminal.
"It''s done."
After exiting the creator mode, Jiang Qiao immediately ran to his bedroom, pulled out hisptop for writing, and ced it on the table in the living room.
"You dumped this on the Tian Gong One Three terminal?"
Hai Lan was holding Jiang Qiao''s frying pan, trying to figure out what Jiang Qiao meant by "pan" when he was busy hacking into Tian Gong One Three''s system.
"Not that kind of pan! I mean, yers can now download Holy Spirit on the official tform of Tian Gong One Three."
Jiang Qiao logged into Huaguo''s Tian Gong tform, which was the official tform of Tian Gong One Three and also Huaguo''s official gaming tform.
Games from variouspanies were gathered here, somewhat simr to STEAM on Earth. Of course, these games had to be manually reviewed to pass.
Games "made" by Tian Gong One Three didn''t need that, and Holy Spirit had the highest level of ess on Tian Gong One Three, making it impossible to delete manually.
@@novelbin@@
Jiang Qiao also set up an information blocking mechanism, which meant Tian Gong One Three would automatically block any official posts that were unfavorable to Holy Spirit.
This was the "convenience" of the inte age.
Jiang Qiao typed "Holy Spirit" into the tform''s search bar, and a triangle icon popped up, with only one search result.
Holy Spirit
Type: Massively Multiyer Online Role-ying Game/MMORPG.
Price: Free.
Game size: 5210G.
Jiang Qiao randomly filled five thousand gigabytes with content. The Holy Spirit on the tform was just a fa?ade. The real "entrance" would only reveal itself when yers logged in with an activation code.
"How do yers gain ess?"
Hai Lan put down the frying pan and circled theptop before sitting on the sofa to look at the screen.
"Three-quarters lottery, one-quarter based on skill," Jiang Qiao said.
"I get the lottery part, what about skill?" Hai Lan made a fist, "You don''t mean fighting in the real world, do you?"
"Not real-world fighting. The skill part refers to these things."
Jiang Qiao opened his y records for several games on the tform. He was an experienced gamer, having spent a lot of time on most major titles.
The Tian Gong tform had an achievement system for both online and standalone games. Some standalone games also had speedrun timers and the tform''s own live recording feature.
yers had countless ways to prove their skills on this tform.
Jiang Qiao leveraged this mechanism, granting a quarter of Holy Spirit''s ess through invitations to top yers, while three-quarters were left in the random lottery pool, allowing ordinary yers to enjoy the game too.
"What if they get ess but don''t y?" Hai Lan, who didn''t know much about this world''s games, wasn''t sure if the Holy Spirit World Jiang Qiao created was fun or not.
"If they don''t reach level fifteen within a month, their ess will be revoked. If they y up to level fifteen, they should get hooked."
Jiang Qiao only said "should". With diverse yer tastes, he couldn''t guarantee everyone would like it, but he was sure most would.
Holy Spirit''s gamey itself was exceptional. In creator mode, Jiang Qiao knew what made games engaging, and the game''s system surpassed all other games in this world.
After all, no other game in this world allowed yers to see, hear, smell, taste, and touch with such realism.
"We only have a hundred avable slots. That''s nowhere near enough, is it?" Hai Lan knew that Huaguo alone had fifteen billion people, making a hundred slots seem very few.
"That''s where our beta testerse in." Jiang Qiao began eating a piece of bread, "I''ll open a new world fragment as an instance in a few days. Killing monsters or clearing the instance will give extra yer slots. Also, it''s time to start a guild."
"What''s the guild for?" Although she knew why Jiang Qiao wanted to start one, Hai Lan still asked.
"I want to experience the guild system," Jiang Qiao mumbled through a mouthful of bread.
"Is that even a reason..." Hai Lan mused.
"Hai Lan, when you were a creator, did you just watch from the sidelines and rarely do ''field research''?" Jiang Qiao''s next words left Hai Lan speechless.
"As a god, mixing with my creations might... scare them," Hai Lan found an excuse to refute him.
"That''s likely why your world fell apart. A good game designer needs to understand the yer experience better than the yers themselves. I believe you can''t fully grasp their feelings without personal experience," Jiang Qiao said. "Also, being a creator doesn''t stop me from being a gamer. I''m a yer who loves video games, and you know being a god all the time gets boring."
"I... suppose it does," Hai Lan lightly bit her lower lip. The reason she sealed her creator mode was because... it was too boring, without desire, like a saint.
"Let''s just say, I have two identities. The first is your contractor, creator Jiang Qiao. In this role, I maintain Holy Spirit World''s development and guide yers. That''s what I find interesting about this identity," Jiang Qiao exined.
"But I also have another identity, a normal person, a fourth-year finance student at Jiang Cheng University, considering graduate school, a web novelist, a Holy Spirit yer very interested in games, and a game designer responsible for the game''s ecosystem. Understand?"
"Does that mean I have dual identities too?" Listening to Jiang Qiao''s analysis, Hai Lan realized she was simr to him.
"Pretty much."
Jiang Qiao had incredibly strong self-control. Unlike someone with procrastination, when it was time to write, he never dyed, cing his hands on the keyboard without hesitation.
That''s why Jiang Qiao could control his use of creator mode well.
"What''s the guild name going to be?" Hai Lan seemed ready to help Jiang Qiao name the guild, something like Sea Blue Divine Sect.
"I haven''t decided yet."
Jiang Qiao struggled with names, so the guild name hadn''t been determined yet. He just felt it was time to start one.
"How about..."
"Someone''s already starting to draw for ytesting qualifications!"
Jiang Qiao shoved another piece of bread into Hai Lan''s mouth as he opened the Holy Spirit''s official site.
The Holy Spirit''s site was very simple, with just a mysterious triangle emblem, an option to log into the Tian Gong tform, and an option to draw for ytest slots.
Jiang Qiao hadn''t asked Tian Gong One Three to heavily advertise Holy Spirit, relying on yers discovering it as they explored game queues.
While Hai Lan and Jiang Qiao were talking, thirty-seven out of the seventy-five testing slots he put in the lottery had already been taken.
When the thirty-eighth testing slot was drawn, Jiang Qiao''sptop suddenly popped up with a message.
"Official personnel obtained a slot."
This message was privately sent to Jiang Qiao by Tian Gong One Three, reminding him that someone rted to it had drawn a slot.
"Game ID: ck-haired Chang Qing."
Chapter 25 - 25 Manor System
Chapter 25: Chapter 25 Manor System
After Xia Shan learned that the first industrial revolution was impossible, she still changed her career to be an Alchemy Engineer...
She''s the type of yer who belongs to the construction category, not very interested in leveling up, only liking to create various things in the game.
The Holy Spirit''s super-strong physical engine brought her a huge surprise, but MP restrictions caused Xia Shan''s first industrial revolution to be instantly annihted under her mere ten points of intelligence.
But she did not give up...
Jiang Qiao watched the girl walk out of the professional guild and then turned back into ghost mode, flying out together with Hai Lan.
Next, Xia Shan''s actions made Jiang Qiao feel more assured. She picked up many small stones from the streets of Lionheart City, piling them up on the roadside.
Jiang Qiao knew what Xia Shan was testing¡ªit was whether yers could build things inside Lionheart City.
The answer, of course, was no. If yers randomly piled up things inside Lionheart City, wouldn''t the entire city turn into illegal constructions?
Ten seconds after Xia Shan had piled up the small stones, a cluster of tiny sparkling lights swallowed the stones she stacked.
She also received a system prompt.
"City cleaning pixies have cleaned up the trash you threw."
"As expected, it doesn''t work." Xia Shan had anticipated this, showing no signs of discouragement. She ran to the outskirts of Lionheart City, to the newbie monster spawn area, Slime Forest, with arge pile of small stones.
She piled arge heap of small stones on the grass in Slime Forest, but soon another prompt popped up.
"Forest cleaning pixies have cleaned up the trash you threw."
"Not even in the wild?" Xia Shan appeared very frustrated.
Watching from the side, Jiang Qiao couldn''t bear seeing it anymore. He logged into his Elemental Summoner ount not far away, pretending to be a passerby walking past the girl.
"Friend, are you building a human pyramid?" Jiang Qiao asked, looking at the little pile of stones Xia Shan had stacked again.
"Not a human pyramid, I''m testing if I can build something in the wild," Xia Shan replied without turning her head.
"If you could build a house in the wild, this game would turn into a tower defense game, but I know a ce where you can build houses," Jiang Qiao added.
"Where? Oh... hi."
Only then did Xia Shan realize a yer was talking to her. She turned around and was stunned by Jiang Qiao''s gorgeous equipment, especially the Fire Spirit''s Prayer in his hand.
Jiang Qiao''s current level was twenty-eight. While walking around Lionheart City, she only saw yers at level one or two, so Jiang Qiao belonged to the big-shot category.
"Excuse me, can I ask where the ce for building houses is?"
Xia Shan, a light-hearted casual yer, was very polite while chatting. This was a habit she cultivated from her workce. Perhaps she only felt rxed about building houses whencking materials.
"A manor," Jiang Qiao mentioned another important system for lifestyle yers, "The manors in Lionheart City are now open. That ce is meant for yer construction. If you''re interested, I can take you there."
"It''s a bit troublesome for you. You can just give me the coordinates; I can go myself," Xia Shan reacted cautiously to Jiang Qiao''s enthusiasm.
"My friends for the instance haven''t logged on yet, and I need to buy some potions from Lionheart City anyway. Besides, you can''t possibly get kidnapped in the game." Jiang Qiao started an awkward conversation.
"It''s not an issue, I have a one-click rm button," Xia Shan thoughtfully responded.
The one-click rm system is not an in-game function of the Holy Spirit but a built-in game tool of the Heaven Pce gaming tform. These tools include chat software, live broadcast recording systems, screenshot tools, and more...
After logging into the Heaven Pce gaming tform, Jiang Qiao naturally included this externalprehensive tool for promoting the Holy Spirit among yers.
"Shall I lead the way?" Jiang Qiao asked again.
"Thank you!"
Xia Shan quickly followed Jiang Qiao back to Lionheart City. The entrance to the yer manors in Lionheart City was on the busiestmercial street.
This ce could be said to be the most frequented by yers, as all themonly used NPC supply shops were here. At the end of themercial street was the professional guild, and at the entrance to themercial street was the yer manor system entrance.
The manor system, as the name suggests, is yers'' own ''house.'' This house can be understood as an area, a customizable area.
"Here it is." Jiang Qiao pointed to the emptynd at the entrance to themercial street.
"But there''s nothing here. Wait, I see a prompt."
As Xia Shan stood in front of the emptynd, an NPC wearing formal attire suddenly approached her. The NPC was a shrewd-looking merchant with a top hat and monocle.
"This is definitely the best location in Lionheart City. Do you need anything, great Holy Spirit?" the NPC asked.
A window also popped up in front of Xia Shan, with only two options: The first was ''Manor System Exnation'' and the second was ''Manor Purchase.''
Soon, Xia Shan clicked into the manor system exnation.
''The manor is a special independent space existing in Lionheart City. After purchasing the manor, you will receive a manor key item. Arrive at this location and use the manor key to open the portal to the manor.''
"Isn''t it just building a house right here on this lot?" Xia Shan had hoped to buy this piece ofnd and build a big house for passing yers to admire.
"Your residence certainly exists on thisnd, but it''s a specialnd with multiple independent spaces. It can amodate countless Holy Spirits building their manors on thisnd. However, don''t worry. As long as your manor is outstanding, thisnd will disy your manor to millions of people. You can also choose to only see your own manor, but other Holy Spirits won''t be able to see it," the NPC exined.
This basically meant that thend could be purchased by all yers. Those who bought it would enter an independent space, with the space size determined by the manor level.
Yet, passersby would only see the most excellently constructed manors on thisnd, and yers could set it to only see their own manor.
Half of the twenty-two square kilometers of ne Fragment Hai Lan swallowed was put into this manor system by Jiang Qiao.
"I like this setup!" Xia Shan''s construction spirit ignited again upon hearing that she couldpete with other yers.
The detailed attributes of the manor further excited Xia Shan. In the manor, yers could fully customize their residence, even to the point of moving bricks to build houses themselves.
Meanwhile, depending on the manor''s different construction attributes, recovery effects were also provided. The MP recovery bonus was what Xia Shan valued the most!
Perhaps she couldn''t start her first industrial revolution elsewhere in the Holy Spirit, but in her own manor, she could!
"Do you want to buy it?" the NPC asked again.
"Of course I want to buy it! How much?" Xia Shan was fully immersed in her dream of owning a big house.
"For just one hundred gold coins, you can buy a twenty-square-meter plot."
With this one sentence, the NPC shattered Xia Shan''s beautiful dream into fragments.
She opened her inventory and nced at her money tab.
Ten copper coins.
Newbies start with only ten copper coins. One hundred copper coins for one silver coin, and one hundred silver coins for one gold coin.
Currently, selling equipment from the twenty-five-level instance would only give Jiang Qiao an ie of over ten silver coins.
Xia Shan turned her gaze to Jiang Qiao.
@@novelbin@@
"I only have saved up twenty gold coins myself," Jiang Qiao indicated that as a yer, he wasn''t that rich either.
"Twenty-eight levels and already saved twenty gold... should have a hundred gold by level forty!" Xia Shan wasn''t discouraged, her spirit reigniting once more.
A spirit named saving up enough dowry to buy a house!
"Aren''t you going to try collecting gold coins?"
Jiang Qiao pointed to the streets of themercial district. On the very first day the Holy Spirit went public, yers buying gold coins had already appeared...

"Roon Stream, room number 123411."
The swordman with the strange knife reported a room number to Jiang Qiao.
Jiang Qiao didn''t need to exit the game. This time, he logged in using a VR device, so he simply slid his fingertips to open the built-in web browsing tool of the Tiangong game tform.
The web tool''s favorites bar had the Roon Stream URL, so Jiang Qiao clicked on it and entered the room number.
The name of this streamer was Swordman with the Strange Knife, located in the VR online game section. The name of the live room was "New VR Game ''Holy Spirit'' Absolutely Shocking", with a poprity of 251,000. Based on the poprity count, at least around 25,000 people were watching the stream simultaneously.
"Quite popr, he could be considered a big streamer." Jiang Qiao watched the barrage on the live stream; there were about two or threements per second.
"Small streamer, small streamer, I only have this many viewers today because I''m streaming Holy Spirit. Usually, it''s only around 100,000. My brother is amazing, with a stream poprity of one or two million." The swordman with the strange knife seemed very modest.
"Still pretty impressive."
When eating, Jiang Qiao would take some time to watch game streams. There were only a few top game streamers in the Quarrel Zone. Streamers with one or two million in poprity were top-tier, while streamers like the swordman with the strange knife with around 100,000 could make a living off streaming.
"Judging from the barrage, your viewers are urging you to level up." Jiang Qiao waved his hand, showing his web interface to the swordman with the strange knife. The live stream barrage floated continuously before his eyes.
''I finished my meal, why is the streamer still hanging around collecting activation codes?''
''Go fight monsters! We''re not here to watch you stand around.''
''If you keep standing around collecting activation codes, I''m unfollowing.''
''The baby following that mage in front looks cute.''
"Don''t panic, everyone! We''re going to fight monsters and level up right away!" The swordman with the strange knife saw a barrage full of "unfollow if you keep collecting activation codes" and realized the barrage filled up because of Jiang Qiao''s influence.
"Dude, you really don''t have an activation code?" The swordman with the strange knife steadied his audience''s mood and still asked Jiang Qiao one more time.
"No." Jiang Qiao replied.
"Then where did you get that baby?" The swordman with the strange knife moved his gaze to the Water Spirit floating beside Jiang Qiao.
This Water Spirit wasn''t summoned by Jiang Qiao; it came out on its own.
Summoned beings also had a certain level of intelligence. The Water Spirit floated out of curiosity towards the "mechanical live stream camera" floating beside the swordman with the strange knife. Upon noticing the swordman''s gaze, she hid behind Jiang Qiao''s head, poking out a small head to look at the live stream camera.
This lively scene alone prevented anyone from seeing the Water Spirit as just a bunch of data.
"I''m an Elemental Summoner, where do you think my summoned beingse from?" Jiang Qiao countered.
Currently, the Holy Spirit hadn''t yet opened the pet system, which Jiang Qiao would perfect in future updates.
"I forgot about that. Guys, I''m not ying a Summoner, so I can''t get such a baby." The swordman with the strange knife helplessly told his audience, who demanded he get a baby like that.
''Suggest the streamer delete and start over.''
''Delete and start over +1.''
''Does the mage in front of the streamer still sell activation codes? 50,000!''
''They said 50,000, who are they?''
At this moment, Jiang Qiao caught two barrages, followed by a wave of mockingments aimed at that user. As a result, the user sent five diamond treasure boxes to the live stream room.
This was the highest-level gift on Roon Stream, worth 2,000 each, making five worth 10,000. The swordman with the strange knife might not even make that much in a week of streaming.
When the glow of five diamond treasure boxes shed in the live stream room, the mocking barrage turned into pure admiration, withments full of praise like "Boss is generous", "Boss is awesome", and asking for Holy Spirit activation codes.
Jiang Qiao also saw that the ID of the user who sent the gifts was Sour Lemon.
"Lemon boss?" The swordman with the strange knife obviously knew this ID. He opened his mouth, still wanting to ask Jiang Qiao for activation codes, but Jiang Qiao had already walked away. After looking around and finding no sign of Jiang Qiao, he quickly joined the audience in thanking the patron and then hurriedly ran off to level up and fight monsters.
Jiang Qiao and Hai Lan had already walked out of Lionheart City.
"This live streaming is a bit like diators in the arena, showing the audience their fight process?" Hai Lan analyzed the live stream to Jiang Qiao.
"Almost, but the content of the live stream isn''t just about fighting."
"Jiang Qiao, why don''t you try it? Maybe you could make some money?" Hai Lan asked.
"I tried, but no one watched. Now, if I stream Holy Spirit, maybe some people would watch, but... there are already thirty to forty streamers streaming Holy Spirit on this site."
Jiang Qiao had actually tried streaming games before, but without any program effect, the poprity was only about a couple of hundred viewers, pitifully few.
But now, on the entire streamer tform, Holy Spirit had be the new favorite of streamers. Any streamer streaming Holy Spirit saw their poprity double or triple at least, and new streamers quickly emerged.
This already illustrated the attraction of Holy Spirit to yers. Today was the first day of Holy Spirit''s public release, and in a few days, its poprity would fully ferment.
Excited yers would rush to the Holy Spirit''s official website to register an ount, only to find... they weren''t qualified to y yet.
That feeling really made people want to smash their keyboards.
For the sake of yers'' keyboards, Jiang Qiao''s top priority now was to turn the world named Tower ne into a dungeon for Holy Spirit.
"Hai Lan, we''re going to the Astrology Tower now." Jiang Qiao told Hai Lan. They found a secluded ce, and after confirming no one was watching, Hai Lan opened a portal, and Jiang Qiao stepped through it.
On the other side of the portal was still the Astrology Tower in Lionheart City. The three astrologer NPCs at the tower greeted Jiang Qiao with respect upon his arrival.
Jiang Qiao ignored the three NPCs and went directly to the central astrological tform. Once activated, the star chart''s light appeared in front of Jiang Qiao again.
The ne Fragment of the Tower wasn''t far from Blue Star. Jiang Qiao only needed about 1,200 energy points to open a portal to that fragment. The rest was just a few minor adjustments to the rules of this world.
Jiang Qiao didn''t change much, just adjusted the gore effect, so that killing flesh-and-blood creatures wouldn''t be too stomach-turning for the yers. This small modification alone consumed nearly 200 energy points.
Before formally opening the entrance to this instance, Jiang Qiao needed to test it himself. Hai Lan created a portal leading to the Tower ne, and Jiang Qiao walked directly into the portal.@@novelbin@@
Chapter 31 - 31 Instance Construction
Chapter 31: Chapter 31 Instance Construction
The Fairy Merchant NPC had finally been edited by Jiang Qiao, his purpose being to allow yers to use magic stones to exchange for fashion items.
This merchant and his siblings would be apanying the yers for a long time, as every time an Otherworld instance appeared, he would show up to let yers use the items they obtained from the Otherworld to exchange for fashion or mounts.
After cing a disassembly machine next to the Enforcement Master, Jiang Qiao made some minor tweaks to the yer system, such as disying not only the records on the stone tablet but also on the yer''s system interface.
These tweaks were all made to optimize the yer''s instance experience. After making all these minor and major adjustments, Jiang Qiao opened the portal and returned to the Astrology Tower, ready to officially announce the existence of this new instance to the yers.
"Where should the instance entrance go?" Jiang Qiao opened the game''srge map of Holy Spirit.
Currently, Holy Spirit only had one continent with four cities, surrounded by the endless sea that yers could never reach the end of.
The four cities centered around Lionheart City, with monsters ranging from level 1 to 20 surrounding it, and a level 20 instance. Higher up was Eagle w City, where the monsters ranged from level 20 to 30 and there were four instances. Further down from Eagle w City were Wolf Heart City and Frost Deer City, with a total of eight instances.
Following the same level pattern, Frost Deer City''s frost-themed map was the endpoint for yers in this version, with level 50 monsters and four level 50 instances.
There were also dozens of small viges and towns scattered around the map, which Jiang Qiao did not list out.
There was plenty to explore in Holy Spirit, with just the job change system and various hidden quests enough to keep yers busy for half a year. But Jiang Qiao still needed to continually update the versions.
This update was for the new instance, the Tower of Trial.
"The entrance should be at the Lionheart City harbor." Jiang Qiao swiped therge map of the game, settling on the harbor area of Lionheart City, which was a leveling area for levels 15 to 20, while the Tower of Trial was an instance challengeable from levels 25 to 50.
Jiang Qiao decided to ce the entrance of the ne Fragment at the harbor. As he said this, a miniature tower appeared in his hand. He ced the miniature tower, like ying chess, on the coast near the Lionheart City harbor.
After cing it, he obsessively adjusted its position, even taking out a ruler to ensure the Tower of Trial was perfectly aligned with the lighthouse of Lionheart City, before finally touching the tower with his fingertip.
The gray-white statue of the tower quickly gained color under Jiang Qiao''s touch, and at the same time, Jiang Qiao felt a slight tremor across the Astrology tform.
Jiang Qiao quickly walked out of the Astrology tform, looking toward the harbor. In the distant harbor''s horizon, a towering pure white tower emerged above the sea level, apanied by the waves and ground tremors.
"All set. There''s no limit on the number of attempts for this instance. The first floor''s challenge level is 25 to 35, the second floor is 35 to 40, and so on. Now it''s up to the yers to test it out."
The first person Jiang Qiao thought of was Zhao Mingwei. It was the afternoon, and Zhao Mingwei and the others only logged in at night. So Jiang Qiao decided to send a private message to Zhao Mingwei.
Originally, Jiang Qiao nned to ask, ''Do you want to run the instance tonight?'' but after thinking it over, he changed it to, ''I''m nning to start a guild. Want to join?''
There were already three guilds in Holy Spirit, but none wererge. Jiang Qiao had always wanted to try starting a guild, not for dominating the leaderboards, but simply to gather friends to y together.
In a previous game, Jiang Qiao did establish a guild, but not many people joined. After Jiang Qiao yed less often, the few contacts in the guild slowly went AFK.
Jiang Qiao was not a lone yer and understood well that online games were truly fun when yed with friends.
''Sure, I''ll join when I log in.'' Zhao Mingwei quickly replied to Jiang Qiao.
This reply came through the Holy Spirit app, which allowed direct responses to friend messages.
Seeing the reply, Jiang Qiao walked to the edge of the Astrology Tower, looking toward the harbor. Some yers had already noticed the new instance portal that appeared at the harbor.
The Tower of Trial instance was designed as a guild team instance because most of the gear drops are guild and manor relics.
Solo yers who didn''t want to join a guild could still ce the relics in their manor, achieving the same effect.
To quickly increase the server capacity, Jiang Qiao decided not to limit the number of attempts for the Tower of Trial, unlike regr instances, which were limited to five runs per day. Regr instances offered gear and experience bonuses, while the Tower of Trial did not. It was essentially simr to grinding monsters in the wilderness.
However, the Tower of Trial had a mechanism for clearing record rewards, making it a ce where yers could showcase their skills and strength.
Taking advantage of this time, Jiang Qiao monitored the yers'' gamey in the Tower of Trial while in a hidden GM state.
Within the first hour, not many yers entered the Tower of Trial. Most Holy Spirit yers were stuck at the level 25 threshold, with the highest yer on the leaderboard already reaching level 32.
There were three instances for levels 25 to 30, each taking about half an hour to an hour toplete. Most yers were busy grinding these world instances, while the ones who noticed the new tower were mostly neers in the main city of Lionheart.
@@novelbin@@
But the first batch of yers to challenge the Tower of Trial had already appeared, led by the streamer, Stranger Swordmaster, with whom Jiang Qiao had previously interacted.
He seemed to have no real-life friends in Holy Spirit, spending over ten minutes at the Tower of Trial entrance trying to form a reluctant four-member team before entering the first floor.
The challenge of the first floor of the Tower of Trial turned out to be harder than Jiang Qiao expected. Only Stranger Swordmaster had passable skills among the four, evident by his deactivating Holy Spirit''sbat assistance and genuinely using his sword movements to cast skills, while the other five yers simply spammed hotkeys.
Manual skill execution and quick casting each had their advantages. They struggled, stopping frequently, and finally cleared the first floor in an hour and twenty-four minutes.
After they cleared it, Jiang Qiao saw an increase of about thirteen yers over the server capacity.
As soon as Stranger Swordmaster exited the Tower of Trial, he received a system prompt.
''Your clearing record ranks 43rd among all challengers.''
"We did that poorly and still made the leaderboard?"
Stranger Swordmaster was shocked by the prompt. His randomly assembled team was quite unreliable, cking a healer, and they barely defeated the final boss.
Regr instances also had leaderboard settings, but only the top ten yer teams were disyed.
"The instance records are here. Wait, they''re all NPC records?"
The Elemental Mage in the team, following the system prompt, arrived at the first stone tablet, and it disyed only a bunch of western-style names.
Such proper names didn''t seem like ones yers would choose.
"We broke a system preset record and rankedst? That feels embarrassing," said a Gun Knight in the team.
The reason they felt embarrassed was that system preset records in the game were usually very easy to break, akin to beginner-level challenges.
"This instance has a maximum of six yers. There are rewards for refreshing instance records. Does anyone have any friends who are level 25 and online? Quickly invite them, or should I form another group?"
Stranger Swordmaster noticed another team entering the Tower of Trial, knowing that to im the instance record rewards, they had to be quick. Once yers shattered all the NPC records, a bunch of speedrunners would enter the tower, making the record rewards much harder to obtain.

Chapter 33: 33. What¡¯s Fun About It? (Overload Chapter 3)
Priest saw Jiang Qiao''s message and the first reply she sent was "Dungeoning, huh? Costs extra."
"How much." Jiang Qiao was already used to this healer''s obsession with money. Though she was a miser, at least she was a highly skilled miser.
Currently, the top of the Holy leaderboard was taken by Priest''s Holy, who was at level thirty-two.
Holy was a regr ss change for Priests, not an advanced one. From the name, it was evident it enhanced healing and provided various strange buffs for teammates.
"Which instance are you going to? I can''t let you pay for the whole team yourself. I''ll go and collect from each one." Priest knew that Jiang Qiao''s team was currently missing one member and it seemed like Jiang Qiao was nning to pay for the other four by himself.
"How kind of you?"
"Of course, we''re friends after all." Priest replied in text.
"Do friends still need to pay to do instances together?" Jiang Qiao always assumed that this healer considered him an outsider.
"Of course, you have to pay! But I''ll give you the friend''s discount! Cheaper rate!" Priest added an emoji of a seal raising its flipper.
"."
Jiang Qiao didn''t know how to respond, so he just sent a period back.
@@novelbin@@
Priest''s efficiency was top-notch. Just twenty seconds after Jiang Qiao sent her the message, she was already at the entrance of the Tower of Trial instance.
Jiang Qiao then pulled the healer into the team.
"For instance runs, it''s twenty silver coins per person, guarantee pass!"
As soon as Priest joined the team, before anyone could even greet her, she announced the charge to everyone.
Zhao Mingwei and Lin Xi exchanged nces, resigned, and immediately traded twenty silver coins to Priest.
The other two in Jiang Qiao''s team were the live-streaming Broadsword Swordsman and Dancing Nuclear Guild''s Mo Shigui.
Broadsword Swordsman was chatting with his followers and didn''t quite catch on when Priest mentioned payment.
"Why do we need to pay to join a dungeon group? You think you''re..." Broadsword Swordsman looked up to see a healer in te armor asking for money, immediately digging out a bag of twenty silver coins and respectfully handing it over. "Oh, it''s Priest! Why''s it so cheap this time?"
"You''re lucky! The team leader is my friend, so you get a half-off!" Priest epted the silver coins from Broadsword Swordsman and turned her gaze to Mo Shigui.
Mo Shigui of course recognized the top-ranked healer but had never teamed up with Priest before.
Dancing Nuclear Guild had healers, but none as high level as Priest. Seeing all teammates pay one by one, Mo Shigui dutifully handed over his twenty silver coins.
"Great, we can start now!" Priest collected the money and took the lead towards the first floor of the Tower of Trial.
Jiang Qiao could only humbly follow. Lin Xi, the gossip, sidled up to Broadsword Swordsman.
"Hey, brother, you seem to have fallen for that healer''s tricks before?" Lin Xi whispered to Broadsword Swordsman.
"What trick? Haven''t you run Gray Swamp much, have you? If you get Priest in front of the entrance, you can breeze through hard mode. Last time I got her, it cost even more." Broadsword Swordsman sounded thoroughly satisfied.
Gray Swamp was the first instance in Eagle w City, and Jiang Qiao had run it multiple times. Most of his gear was from Gray Swamp.
"..." Lin Xi met Priest around level ten, originally thought she was just a little healer, but now she was a true powerhouse.
"Get focused, we''re entering." Zhao Mingwei reminded Lin Xi.
The Tower of Trial''s first floor had a fusion of magic and sci-fi design, with smooth materials forming the floor and walls, withplex magical runes faintly glowing.
The instance''s monsters primarily consisted of alchemically forged mantis-like demon puppets, about the height of a person. Their ferocious attacks could make some fragile sses question their life choices.
Fortunately, Priest was genuinely worth every coin. Her heals were plentiful and timely, and Mo Shigui, as a Gun Knight tank, was an expert. The whole fight was extraordinarily easy.
Ease meant the team could switch to chat mode during the instance.
Mo Shigui, as the leader, started the chit-chat. About twenty minutes into the instance, with a pile of mantis corpses on the ground, he asked an odd question.
"So, why did you guys start ying this game?" Mo Shigui raised his shield to block a mantis demon puppet''s sharp sickles and loudly asked the group.
"Why ask that?"
Lin Xi, with his left hand, crafted a focused methrower and aimed at the mantis demon puppet mocked by Mo Shigui. The scorching mes engulfed its body, damage numbers of -70, -78, and -52 popping up continuously.
"Market research." Mo Shigui said.
"Research? Are you an official staff of Holy?"
Broadsword Swordsman performed a Hard Strike from the air, shattering the charred exoskeleton of the mantis. The core was pierced by his de, and the puppet copsed.
A pile of mantis demon puppets alreadyy around. Broadsword Swordsman jumped off one body and rushed to Mo Shigui.
"Brother! Do you sell activation codes? I''ll pay thirty thousand!" Broadsword Swordsman was more excited than if he had found a piece of rare equipment.
"I''m not a staff member of Holy, just conducting some market research." Mo Shigui gently pushed off the hands Broadsword Swordsman ced on his shoulders.
"What''s the point if you''re not official?" Broadsword Swordsman was puzzled.
"If this game bes popr, it benefits not just the game''s officials but us yers too. I asked friends who y Holy, and they''ve beenpletely immersed sinceunch. There''s no advertising, story CG, I don''t even know thepany behind it. Yet, my friends have logged nearly a hundred hours. What do you think makes this game fun?" Mo Shigui said while pressing his shield against another mantis puppet.
Jiang Qiao didn''t speak, just listened intently.
Everyone agreed with Mo Shigui that the sess of Holy would benefit both the officials and the yers.
The most direct proof was that Broadsword Swordsman''s streams of Holy had doubled his usual viewership, and Priest must have made a fortune in Holy recently.
Currently, Holy''s Gold Coin price was the highest among all VR games.
"It feels more real than Disputes? Thebat system is the best I''ve seen. What do you call it again? Impact! Yes, the impact is awesome, and the skills are cool. Anyone yed a Swordsman? Dual-wielding, de Draw feels amazing." Broadsword Swordsman rambled on, getting more excited, demonstrating by approaching two patrolling mantis puppets.
The sword arc of his de glinted, leaving visible sh marks on the mantis puppets'' armor with sparks flying.
"The monsters you pulled are bosses! Two of them!" Lin Xi saw two full boss health bars on his system interface, realizing the mess Broadsword Swordsman made.
"We can handle it! Maintain formation!" Mo Shigui returned to leading the team, stepping back to Zhao Mingwei and whispering, "What about you?"
"Gear, levels, experience, arena rank. Do you need more reasons to like a game?"
Zhao Mingwei charged at a distant mantis boss, his roar echoed with the release of his Charged Thought Cannon!

Segman had been livingfortably these past few days. As the prince of the Flowing Water Country, he broke the fastest record for the firstyer of the Tower of Trial two days ago. This record was known among yers as a clearance record, but to the natives of this world, it was an extremely sacred honor, referred to as a holy record.
This news had already spread to all the other countries in his world. Now, Segman was a great hero of the Flowing Water Country and the entire world, the most talented and powerful young genius under the age of thirty.
This was indisputable, and the Flowing Water Country had celebrated this event for a whole two days.
Segman basked in joy for two entire days until one of his servants hurriedly came to him with bad news.
That being¡
¡°Prince Segman! The holy record for the second ranking of the firstyer of the Tower of Trial has been broken! It¡¯s the holy record set by your mentor, Pru!¡± The servant¡¯s voice sounded fearful.
¡°Who?¡±
Upon hearing this news, Segman knocked over all the bottles of wine around him. After casting a rity Technique on himself, he quickly sobered up from his drunken state.
¡°This¡ this¡¡± The servant hesitated, seemingly struggling with whether or not to speak the truth.
¡°Quickly, tell me who it is! The brutes from the Dark me Country or the clowns from the Thunder Country? Give me their exact names! Who is it?¡±
Segman valued this information highly, as the second ce holy record was set by his mentor in his prime. Segman broke it with the assistance of over twenty sacred artifacts and some little-known clearing techniques.
He knew people from other countries wouldn¡¯t sit idly by! Breaking the second holy record was a threat to him.
¡°Your Highness, this¡ I¡¡±
¡°Speak! Everyone who creates a holy record has their name inscribed on the Honor Stele! Youe to report this and don¡¯t even remember the name? Speak quickly!¡± Segman hoped to hear the names of some of his old rivals so he could prepare a response.
¡°The name of the creator of the second ce holy record for the firstyer is¡ Tonight Your Mom Dies, ck Pot Cooked Meat, Furry Rabbit, Rain Song, Mo Shigui, and Dog Barking Mama,¡± the servant said with a trembling voice, informing Prince Segman of the names listed on the Honor Stele in second ce.
¡°What did you say?¡± Prince Segman questioned whether his rity Technique was malfunctioning, still not fully sober himself. But what the servant said didn¡¯t sound like names; instead, it seemed like insults to him and his mother.
¡°These are the names that appeared on the Honor Stele,¡± the servant said anxiously.
¡°What? Say them again,¡± Segman demanded. He insisted on hearing the names directly from the servant¡¯s mouth, his expression warning that failing to convey the message clearly could be life-threatening.
¡°This¡ this¡ the second name on the Honor Stele for the firstyer is Tonight Your Mom Dies.¡±
¡°What did you say?¡±
¡°Tonight Your Mom Dies,¡± the servant felt his brain getting tense beyond control, and so was his mouth.
¡°Say it one more time!¡±
¡°Your Mom Dies.¡±
¡°Are you insulting me?¡± Prince Segman finally realized, ¡°You¡¯re not just insulting me! You¡¯re also insulting my mother?¡±
¡°Your¡ Your Highness! I dare not! The name on the Honor Stele is indeed this,¡± the servant panicked, falling to his knees with his forehead touching the ground, his whole body trembling.
¡°Listen up! Insulting the royal family is a grievous crime that can get you executed! I don¡¯t know which country¡¯s prince sent you to humiliate me, but you have onest chance to truthfully report the names on the Honor Stele, starting from thest name in second ce!¡± Segman said each word with a tone already tinged with murderous intent.
¡°Thest one, thest one¡¡± The servant¡¯s brain was about to seize up. In his panic, he nced at the list in his hand, not thinking, and blurted out, ¡°Dog Barking?¡±
¡°Guards! Bring me a sword!¡±
Segman could no longer tolerate it. A nearby knight handed him a Longsword, and Segman decided to execute the insubordinate servant on the spot.
¡°Your Highness! These really are the names that just appeared on the Honor Stele,¡± the servant wailed in nearly despair.
Just as Segman was about to draw the sword to execute the servant, his mentor, the old Mage Pru, hurriedly arrived.
¡°Prince Segman, Prince Segman! Your servant speaks the truth,¡± the old Mage said.
¡°What truth?¡± Segman did not understand what the old Mage meant.
¡°In the past two days, many new adventurers have appeared in the realm of the Tower of Trial. The records on the Honor Stele for the firstyer have been continuously refreshed, with some inexplicable names showing up,¡± the old Mage quickly exined.
¡°Inexplicable names? Mentor, the Tower of Trial only records everyone¡¯s true names; no one in the world would choose such names.¡±
Segman referred to names like ¡®Tonight Your Mom Dies.¡¯
¡°Maybe there really are people, and more than one,¡± the old Mage smoothed his beard and motioned Segman to follow him, saying, ¡°The area outside the Tower of Trial has be very lively, almost like a marketce now.¡±
¡°A marketce? We have a limited time to enter the realm of the Tower of Trial! Who would be bored enough to set up a shop there?¡±
Segman heard this and stopped arguing with his mentor. He followed him out of the room directly, leaving the servant who delivered the news copsed on the ground.
They directly transported through the illusion gate to the ne where the Tower of Trial stood.
In just two days, the scene before Segman lookedpletely different. Wherever his eyes could see, there were human figures dressed in various strange attires. Segman could vaguely identify that one or two were dressed like Mages.
He even saw someone with a horse¡¯s head jumping around.
What is this? Had the portal to the Tower of Trial been discovered by a group of lunatics?
Segman had no mood to think further. He and his mentor walked with darkened faces to the Honor Stele of the Tower of Trial.
The name of the first-ranked record of the firstyer still belonged to him and hisrades. This brought Segman a slight relief as the second ce was still a full two minutes behind.
Don¡¯t underestimate these two minutes. His mentor Pru¡¯s former top-ranked holy record stood unchallenged for twenty years until he was born and came of age.
Segman expected his newly set holy record tost for decades, perhaps forever, for his descendants to admire.
This wish could have been fulfilled¡ until strange names began appearing on the Honor Stele. Segman felt threatened.
¡°What¡¯s with these strange names?¡± Segman looked closely at the names in second ce on the Honor Stele. The servant was indeed right; the second-ranked team¡¯s leading name was ¡®Tonight Your Mom Dies.¡¯
¡°I¡ can¡¯t exin,¡± the old Mage shook his head with a puzzled look.
Just as he wanted to find out where these bizarre people came from, a devastating announcement struck the ears of both the old Mage and Segman.
¡®Congrattions to Mo Shigui, Rain Song, Furry Rabbit, Tonight Your Mom Dies, Dog Barking Mama, and Hilze¡¯er Wicetone for breaking the Tower of Trial¡¯s Steel Insect Nest speedrun record with a time of thirty-eight minutes and thirty-two seconds, currently ranked first!¡¯
¡°This voice¡ wait, has my holy record been broken?¡± Segman had never heard this strange female voice before. She wasn¡¯t even speaking theirnguage, yet he understood it perfectly.

In the past, breaking a holy record would be reflected only on the stele. But now, his focus was on his previously held top record being broken!
As Segman watched his name being erased from first ce on the Honor Stele, those bizarre names pushing him to second, he widened his eyes, a mix of shock and fury enveloping him, especially when he saw the familiar name, Hilze¡¯er¡
Hilze¡¯er was the prince of the Dark me Country, his absolute arch-enemy.

Segman did not leave the outer resting area of the Tower of Trial. Following Jiang Qiao¡¯s hint, he headed straight to the NPC marketce formed by Enforcement Master Yirui and the fairy merchants.
Jiang Qiao informed him of where to find a method to quickly be stronger. Segman appeared skeptical, but the yers gathered there still caught his attention, and he moved towards Enforcement Master Yirui¡¯s location with a probing attitude.
Now, Jiang Qiao and the old Mage stood alone¡ more urately referred to as the Tower Master of the Tower of Trial.
The old Mage¡¯s pupils had turned pure gold. His golden pupils stared at Jiang Qiao, who felt an indescribable sense of oppression, as if the old Mage were holding not a Magic Wand, but a katana ready to be unsheathed at any moment.
Jiang Qiao lightly grasped his Fire Spirit prayer in his hand. This was the first time Jiang Qiao faced a divine being, and he wasn¡¯t yet sure about the specific abilities of this ancient Tower Guardian.
While Jiang Qiao pondered, the old Mage made a move. Jiang Qiao prepared to release his skills and unleash Hai Lan.

Jiang Qiao looked at the remarkably skilled kowtow, at a loss for how to respond for a moment.
¡°Honorable Devouring God, please spare me!¡± The old Mage¡¯s voice, dry and aged, took on a uniquely feminine sobbing tone, making Jiang Qiao feel ufortable all over.
The name of Devouring God was that terrifying? Jiang Qiao looked at the invisibly lurking Hai Lan beside him, who had her hands on her hips at this moment.
¡°You seem to be female. Can you stand up and speak?¡±
Jiang Qiao nced around. Outside the Tower of Trial, over twenty yers had surrounded the fairy merchant and started to sing and dance. This was the only way Jiang Qiao could describe it.
In the Holy Spirit battle auxiliary system, Jiang Qiao had added some additional content, like a dance assist feature. yers chose a dance move, and the move assist system would help them perfectly replicate it.
More frighteningly, dance moves in Holy Spirit were even a¡ collectible feature.
Beside the fairy merchant, a yer had sessfully exchanged for the hardest-to-get rainbow unicorn headgear. When he put on the headgear, the surrounding yers congratted him, calling him awesome and referring to him as a heavy grinder.
The yer then celebrated by putting on the rainbow unicorn headgear and performing a Michael Jackson dance, plete with background music.
To outsiders, this celebration looked like some ancient tribal sacrificial ritual, with the weak and pitiful fairy merchant surrounded by yers being the sacrificial offering¡
The old Mage¡¯s actions drew the attention of the surrounding yers. It seemed they might run over to sing and dance around Jiang Qiao if the old Mage continued kneeling.
Hidden missions ranked very high on the list of things yers would never miss.
¡°Gr¡ great Devouring God, you must first promise not to eat me.¡± The old Mage¡¯s voice still trembled without stopping.
¡°Even if you kneel, it won¡¯t stop me from eating you.¡± Jiang Qiao now shared the divine status with Hai Lan, barely qualifying as a half-Devouring God.
The Tower Spirit residing in the old Mage thought for a moment and realized Jiang Qiao¡¯s words made a certain sense. So, under Jiang Qiao¡¯s watchful eyes, hey t on the ground, face down.
He probably couldn¡¯te up with a more reverent form of worship than kneeling, so he could only think of this full prostration.
¡°Alright then, if you stand up, I won¡¯t make you Hai Lan¡¯s dinner.¡± Jiang Qiao didn¡¯t know what else to say. In his mind, he wondered if all the gods in the multiverse were missing a screw.
The old Mage stood up immediately, twisting his waist in the process. Jiang Qiao clearly heard the bones cracking in the old Mage¡¯s waist, but the Tower Spirit residing in the old Mage was oblivious. He still looked at Jiang Qiao with a nervous expression, like a student staring at a strict principal in the office.
¡°First of all, I have no interest in turning you into Hai Lan¡¯s dinner. We came here simply to clear the Tower of Trial.¡± Jiang Qiao felt a bit guilty when he said this. If the Tower Guardian in this dimension were weak enough, Hai Lan might take the opportunity to feast when Jiang Qiao wasn¡¯t paying attention.
But this dimension was different from thest invaded dimension. The previous one was like fast food, while this one was more like a vegetable garden, with yers responsible for harvesting and the Tower Guardian for nting.
In short, there was potential for continuous development.
¡°You are speaking the truth.¡± The Tower Spirit seemed to have a mind-reading technique; she paused for a moment, nced at the hovering Hai Lan next to Jiang Qiao, and then mustered the courage to say, ¡°I¡ I can actually allow your creations to continue¡ exploring this Tower of Trial, but¡ but¡ but I have a request.¡±
Here ites¡ the mission!
¡°What request?¡± Jiang Qiao asked.
¡°Don¡¯t eat me.¡±
¡°¡¡±
Jiang Qiao guessed this Tower Spirit must be like a broken record.
Hai Lan, hovering beside Jiang Qiao, was already showing great restraint. At least she wasn¡¯t drooling too much.
¡°No¡ no, what I mean is¡ I¡ I¡¯m about to be devoured, that is¡ the aura of the Devouring God is¡ is approaching me.¡± The Tower Spirit struggled to further exin. Hai Lan looked bewildered, but Jiang Qiao suddenly remembered something and took out the system book.
The system book was an invisible and untouchable item for yers, so Jiang Qiao had no problem taking it out in front of so many yers.
This thick book, heavy enough to be used as a street brawl weapon, opened up, and the star map projected before Jiang Qiao.
On the star map, the dimension of Hai Lan¡¯s Divine Fragment started to¡ ¡®move.¡¯ It slowly floated toward the high tower dimension where Jiang Qiao was, as if called by some force.
Beyond the high tower dimension was the main world of Holy Spirit, and further beyond that, Blue Star.
¡°My followers must have sensed my presence and areing to pay homage to me, right?¡± Hai Lan said.
¡°Pay homage, my foot. They want to invade this dimension and through here, directly invade the game world of Holy Spirit.¡± Jiang Qiao lightly tapped the dimension mark of Hai Lan¡¯s Divine Fragment, marked with a crimson enemy icon. ¡°Monster Siege? This event update is too fast. No, the estimated time of arrival is fifteen days? Shouldn¡¯t we be able to directly counterattack after fifteen days?¡±

After assigning his father an ¡°inspiration torrent¡± status, Jiang Qiao didn¡¯t bother with the matter anymore¡
Jiang Qiao¡¯s father had been researching this project for five years.
During these five years, rumors had it that his father had already created a 3D projector, though the machine wasrge enough to hold an entire cruise ship. If the rumors were true, then his father¡¯s current project should be focused on downsizing the 3D projector.
This developmental trajectory was quite simr to that ofputers and steam engines. Whenputers were first invented, a hostputer would require several rooms to house it.
At the moment, Hai Lan was still munching on crawfish at the low table in front of the sofa, while Jiang Qiao began testing the game rules in the inner world.
@@novelbin@@
Jiang Qiao spent roughly 500 Creation Energy points to transform the space on the table into a test version of the Blue Star inner world.
On the surface, nothing changed. The shrimp shells Hai Lan was chewing on piled up in one corner of the table, and Jiang Qiao summoned a mini version of ¡°Not Updating Today,¡± which was his Sacred Spirit character, on the table.
In the inner world¡¯s game dimension, the Not Updating Today character was only thumb-sized, consuming far less energy.
¡°What do you want to do?¡± Hai Lan asked, pausing her crawfish munching.
Jiang Qiao¡¯s test seemed like it would consume a particrly, particrlyrge amount of energy.
¡°I want to give the construction rights of the inner world to the yers.¡±
As Jiang Qiao spoke, a piece of stone brick appeared in his Elemental Summoner¡¯s hand. He stacked the stone bricks one by one, forming a house resembling a coffin nk.
¡°Give it to the yers? You mean letting them control Sacred Spirit characters to build houses in the real world?¡± Hai Lan nced out the tall buildings outside the window. ¡°You¡¯re not thinking of demolishing those, are you?¡±
¡°yers are just 3D projections; they can¡¯t touch real-world objects, they can only see them. So, in the yers¡¯ eyes, they can see everything in the real world, but essentially the inner world is just a super-t world¡ªperfect for¡ house building.¡±
Jiang Qiao made his Elemental Summoner reach out to grab a small crawfish beside Hai Lan.
With a speed the naked eye couldn¡¯t catch, Hai Lan snatched up her small crawfish and held it high above her head.
Jiang Qiao sighed in resignation and had his Elemental Summoner grab the pile of shrimp shells instead.
As a result, the Elemental Summoner¡¯s hand passed through the shrimp shells since, ording to the theoretical setting, this Elemental Summoner was just a 3D projection. Jiang Qiao was simting this effect with the Creation State.
¡°If all yers have the ability to build houses, won¡¯t the inner world of Blue Star be full of these¡ coffin nks?¡± Hai Lan put down her small crawfish and pointed at the coffin nk-like house Jiang Qiao had just assembled.
¡°This is where the manor system from Sacred Spirites in.¡±
Jiang Qiao made his tiny Elemental Summoner walk to the lunchbox containing the shrimp shells by Hai Lan¡¯s side. Hai Lan hugged the lunchbox with both hands, instantly going into alert mode.
It was like azy, chubby orange cat enteringbat mode instantly upon discovering another cat would steal its small dried fish.
The Elemental Summoner didn¡¯t do anything to Hai Lan¡¯s lunchbox. Instead, a small window popped up before him, disying a line of data.
¡°Manor¡¤Sea Blue Goddess¡¯s Lunchbox
Land Area: 530 square centimeters.
Purchase Requirement: 100 Magic Stones.¡±
The Magic Stones purchase requirement was just something Jiang Qiao made up on the spot. In the future, if yers truly wanted to buy real estate in the ¡°real world¡± and build Sacred Spirit houses, the requirements would definitely be different.
¡°yers can buy houses in the locations I set. These locations can be purchased repeatedly, but only the most excellently constructed manor will be disyed.¡± Jiang Qiao exined.
¡°That sounds like it¡¯s turning into another game? Everyone collects materials in Sacred Spirit, then heads to the real world to¡ build houses?¡±
Hai Lan¡¯sprehension was incredibly strong, only slightly dipping when it came to topics rted to eating.
¡°Not another game, but a new version.¡± Jiang Qiao stated his idea.
¡°After you recover that Divine Fragment, I¡¯ll update the game version, synchronizing the existence and level cap increase of the inner world. This is also a method to save Creation Energy. After all, moving buildings directly from Sacred Spirit to the inner world also consumes a lot of energy. yers building it brick by brick themselves aligns more with the real world setting.¡±
¡°I remember that girl boiling water, what¡¯s her name again¡¡±
¡°ck-haired Chang Qing?¡± Jiang Qiao mentioned the yer who left a deep impression on him. ¡°She¡¯s currently at level twenty-five, still striving to save up a hundred gold. However, she¡¯s indeed an extremely creative yer. I believe she¡¯ll shine in the inner world in the future.¡±
¡°There aren¡¯t any main cities in the inner world. Aren¡¯t those invaders from the invasive dimensions going to demolish the yers¡¯ manors?¡±
Hai Lan was quite protective of the yers, like a new mother unsure of how to take care of her baby, clumsily but diligently guarding her child¡ªthe yers.
¡°Won¡¯t yers build cannons, defensive towers, or prism towers in their manors to blow the enemies to hell?¡± Jiang Qiao revealed his ambition to Hai Lan. ¡°Never underestimate our creativity¡¡±
Maybe a game designer¡¯s creativity is limited, but the creativity of the yermunity is boundless, as seen in a game called ¡°Besiege.¡± Originally a medieval construction game, it was transformed by yers into games like StarCraft, Gundam fighting, Tank World, and more.
In Sacred Spirit¡¯s original world, for the sake of NPCs and other yers¡¯ game experiences, Jiang Qiao restricted the constructionist yers¡¯ y experience.
But the inner world was entirely different. It was a super-t world where constructionists could do whatever they wanted, as long as they had enough money to buy houses.
¡°It sounds interesting, like¡ tower defense.¡± Hai Lan recalled a term Jiang Qiao mentioned before.
¡°It¡¯s normal to construct defensive lines for enemy invasions, isn¡¯t it?¡± Jiang Qiao didn¡¯t care about the gamey experience of invaders from invasive dimensions.
The construction system in Sacred Spirit was extremelyplexplex in its freedom. But essentially, it was still a game. Building a cannon in Sacred Spirit didn¡¯t require high academic qualifications, just a corresponding profession in the life professions. Sacred Spirit¡¯s system would guide yers to create what they wanted, and all creations operated based on the manor¡¯s main structure known as the ¡°Saint Crystal.¡±
¡°Isn¡¯t it a bit early to talk about this now?¡± Hai Lan had finished her crawfish. ¡°Whether I can get that Divine Fragment is still a problem. And¡ will 3D projections really be widespread so quickly?¡±
¡°They will. I have a premonition. Although it will take time, we¡ or rather, all Sacred Spirit yers, must work together. The first step is to level up.¡± Jiang Qiao was absolutely confident in his yers.
But this confidence didn¡¯tst long. After testing the inner world¡¯s basic operation mode, Jiang Qiao took a moment to nce at the Sacred Spirit section in the yermunity, where a post caught his attention.
The post was titled: ¡°A new NPC arena has appeared outside the Tower of Trial, and the NPCs there are strong! I¡¯ve suffered four times! Any PK pros to help? Urgent!¡±
Chapter 46 - 46 Can fight another 10
Chapter 46: Chapter 46 Can fight another 10
Editor: EndlessFantasy Trantion
The Gun Knight thrust his crimson long spear through the neck gap of a fully armored Shield Warrior professional yer¡ in the crevice of the armor¡¯s neck.
As the spear pierced down, a -723 damage popped out, and the yer turned into light particle fragments drifting outside the stage.
¡°Too weak! Next one!¡±
The Gun Knight flicked his long spear, this was already his fourteenth kill of the sacred spirits.
Of the fourteen battles, fewer than four spirits couldst more than a minute under his hands, and almost none couldst two minutes.
The fourteen battles also allowed the Gun Knight to understand the general abilities of these spirits: firstly, even if they suffered fatal injuries, they would turn into light particles and drift to the bottom of the arena, being judged as the Gun Knight¡¯s victory.
Secondly, even if the yers hit him and weakened his life with that special power, after a battle ended, he would receive special healing power, which not only restored his life but also his vigor.
This made the Gun Knight more unrestrained in his attacks.
The Gun Knight¡¯sbat style was primarily based on speed; no matter howrge the skills cast by the yers, the divine attire of the spirits beneath them was just a modern person living in a city. Their reaction ability was hard to keep up with the Gun Knight¡¯s movements.
In contrast, the Gun Knight had gone through countless brutal battlefields, training in martial arts every day to strengthen himself with Magic Power.
Combat awareness and reaction speed are skills that yers cannotpensate for.
¡°Is no one daring to challenge anymore?¡± The Gun Knight shouted, discovering that no one had stepped onto this arena for a long time, though the number of yers below was increasing, most were just standing by and watching.
No matter how the Gun Knight shouted, the yers below seemed to not hear, but the Gun Knight could hear their variousints.
¡°I understand! This NPC was brought by the developers to trick us out of Magic Stones! Impossible to win!¡±
¡°An NPC that can¡¯t be knocked airborne, parries every move, how do we fight it, with attack speed like a ghost.¡±
¡°Silver Bullet, why don¡¯t you go again and bet? The reward in the Magic Stone prize pool has risen to six thousand pieces.¡±
Before, a friend of Silver Bullet whispered to him.
The rewards in the Magic Stone prize pool would umte as yers invested Magic Stones. As long as one yer won against the Gun Knight, they would win the entire six thousand Magic Stones.
These six thousand pieces could directly be exchanged for the Rainbow Unicorn three-piece series and still have leftovers.
@@novelbin@@
¡°No bets, no bets, betting again would be ruinous, let¡¯s go instancing.¡± Silver Bullet heartened at the idea but knew you needed the skill to take it.
The yers were all clear-eyed, having seen from the fourteen battles just how strong this NPC Gun Knight was. Maybe in a group assault, he could be taken down, but solo really required skill.
The Gun Knight could vaguely understand the yers¡¯nguage, but some words he couldn¡¯tprehend. However, hearing their discussions mistakenly made him believe they were afraid.
¡°Do you not have stronger warriors?¡± The Gun Knight raised his voice again, still no one answered.
¡°I¡¯m going to the forums to curse the developers; this NPC is tantly cheating.¡±
¡°I¡¯ve uploaded the recorded video to Youtud Danmu Net, you can use it as evidence.¡±
¡°What¡¯s the video serial number?¡±
¡°21452.¡±
Jiang Qiao listened on the side to the yers¡¯ discussions and directly used the Tiangong browser tool to open Youtud Danmu Net, the most popr video site worldwide.
ording to the serial number reported by the yers, Jiang Qiao found the video, titled ¡°Latest VR Game ¡®Spirits¡¯ Super Strong NPC Battle, can anyone really win?¡±. The video uploader¡¯s ID was ¡®Frontline Reporter,¡¯ a very popr video creator with one hundred twenty-three thousand followers.
This creator had ten or so videos of Spirits, mostly ordinary gamey recordings, from her level one exploits to now being a level twenty-five Assassin.
She should be among the second batch of yers who entered Spirits.
Jiang Qiao nced at a yer with the ID Frontline Reporter. From her outfit, she appeared to be a female assassin and intentionally made her skin deep purple, resembling a dark elf.
Spirits recently had high online attention; four out of the top ten videos in the game section of Youtud Danmu Net were rted to Spirits, and this created video had surged to the tenth ce.
Jiang Qiao clicked in; the video was about half an hour long, from Silver Bullet first to thest yer ID¡¯d as Red Coat Shield Warrior. Each battle was excellently recorded by the Frontline Reporter.
This was also thanks to the Tiangong tform¡¯s excellent recording system.
Jiang Qiao nced at the barrage, readingints like ¡®This NPC is cheating,¡¯ ¡®Can anyone beat him?,¡¯ ¡®I need an auto-aim,¡¯ and ¡®Developer¡¯s trap NPC for reiming Magic Stones.¡¯
A fourteen-game losing streak indeed hurt morale, and Jiang Qiao could feel the yers¡¯ resentment seeping through the screen.
Although not all barragementators were Spirits yers, if the sentiment that ¡®the developers set an invincible NPC to scavenge yer Magic Stones¡¯ caught on, Jiang Qiao felt it would be tricky.
Jiang Qiao decided to find a professional yer.
If regr yers couldn¡¯t beat the Gun Knight technically, what about professional yers?
Jiang Qiao sent a message to Zhao Mingwei; it was nine in the evening, and Zhao Mingwei was still training but showed interest in this NPC, saying he would log on soon.
Professional yers in this world were different from past PC game professional yers.
Besides regr game training, they also underwent physical and reaction speed training, parable to professional athletes.
Ten minutester, Jiang Qiao¡¯s back was patted by someone.
¡°Here, is this the strongest PVP NPC you mentioned?¡±
Zhao Mingwei¡¯s character appeared behind Jiang Qiao; he was now level thirty-three, roughly keeping up with the first tier.
¡°I¡¯m not sure if he¡¯s the strongest, but fourteen people have already been beaten into seclusion by him. You¡ won¡¯t be the fifteenth, right?¡± Although Jiang Qiao had called Zhao Mingwei, he still felt unsure.
¡°Let¡¯s try.¡±
Zhao Mingwei walked towards the arena; the Gun Knight¡¯s formidable power deterred others from promptly challenging. As Zhao Mingwei approached, the recently defeated Shield Warrior Red Coat blocked him.
¡°Friend, that guy¡¯s a bit uncanny. You, a cloth armor ss, should be careful.¡± Red Coat saw Zhao Mingwei looked like a newbie onlooker.
¡°I watched the prior videos. With agility above forty points, you can dodge. Though my primary attribute is intelligence, I have forty-one points of agility, no problem.¡±
Zhao Mingwei never fought unprepared; beforeing, he had watched the Gun Knight¡¯s battle videos on his phone.
Spirits corrected yers¡¯bat styles based on attributes; agility influenced movement and attack speed, but yer reactions had to be practiced in reality.
Even with over a hundred agility points, a slow reflex assassin couldn¡¯t utilize them.
Seeing Zhao Mingwei¡¯s confidence, Red Coat didn¡¯t block him. Zhao Mingwei stepped onto the arena under the gaze of thirty or so yers.
¡°You? Challenging me with no weapon or armor?¡±
The Gun Knight stared at Zhao Mingwei; his appearance was that of a Chinese-style monk, wearing a half-body kasaya, with his left arm marked with a qi pattern exposed, and long ck hair tied in a ponytail hanging behind.
In the Gun Knight¡¯s eyes, this outfit on the battlefield was¡ suicidal! Not onlycking protection but such long clothing was a hindrance to movement.
¡°My weapon is here.¡± Zhao Mingwei swung his fist weapon, a level 30 purple-quality item.
¡°Your fists? You think fists can beat my spear?¡± The Gun Knight smiled, not with disdain but genuinely amused by Zhao Mingwei¡¯s jest. But hisughter soon stopped, and he grew serious. ¡°Thene and try!¡±
Chapter 50 - 50 - No Negotiation
Chapter 50: Chapter 50 ¨C No Negotiation
Editor: EndlessFantasy Trantion
Jiang Qiao did not go to Hai Lan¡¯s divine shard ne using his Summoner role but instead summoned a ghostly entity simr to a probe.
The star map projection appeared in front of Jiang Qiao, who took the ghostly entity and ced it into the ne of Hai Lan¡¯s divine shard on the star map.
This transmission consumed less than a hundred Creation Energy from Jiang Qiao, as the ghostly entity had nobat power and was only meant for reconnaissance.
Having done all this, Jiang Qiao found a chair to sit on, leaned back, and closed his eyes to establish a visual connection with the ghostly entity far in Hai Lan¡¯s divine shard ne.
¡°Aren¡¯t youing?¡± Jiang Qiao nced at Hai Lan, who was looking at the star map beside him.
Hai Lan¡¯s cherry-red lips moved slightly, but she shook her head faintly in the end.
¡°Alright then.¡±
Jiang Qiao didn¡¯t force her; he closed his eyes, and when he opened them again, he found himself floating in mid-air.
The sky had changed from the blue and white of the holy realm to a gloomy gray. Below him, Jiang Qiao saw a city, a city with somewhat peculiar architectural styles. He could vaguely make out the city walls, castle pces, and¡ the battlefield outside the city walls.
¡°This is indeed a scene of heavy casualties.¡±
Jiang Qiao floated over the battlefield outside the city walls. As far as the eye could see, there were only corpses lying on the ground, soldiers from two enemy nations d in armor, stabbing each other with swords until both sides died together, forever frozen in this moment in time.
There were no living people on the battlefield; the blood hadpletely dried up. Jiang Qiao approached a dead soldier, and the ghostly entity extended an ¡®arm¡¯ to remove the soldier¡¯s helmet.
The corpse beneath the helmet had lost all moisture, not turning into a skeleton; the dried skin clung to the soldier¡¯s bones, resembling an Egyptian mummy.
¡°These have turned into dried corpses. Could it be that once yers arrive, these guys wille back to life?¡± Jiang Qiao could already guess what the primary enemies of this instance were.
The ne of Hai Lan¡¯s divine shard was a level sixty instance, and when the real attack happened, these dried corpses on the battlefield would likely alle back to life.
¡°I wonder if setting fire to them would work. Let¡¯s check out other ces first.¡±
Jiang Qiao put the helmet back on the soldier and floated towards the city¡¯s interior.
To Jiang Qiao¡¯s surprise¡ the city was still alive, or at least it appeared to be alive.
On the streets, Jiang Qiao could still seemoners walking around, vendors setting up their stalls and trading with passing residents, children chasing and ying, and carriages moving to and fro on the streets. In the corners of the streets, Jiang Qiao could even see thieves and robbers extorting from themoners.
Just looking at it this way, it indeed seemed like a vibrant city, but there was one problem¡ all the residents inside were dead.
Every resident, like the soldiers outside the city, had dry, desated skin. It was as if they were puppet-like, repeating the same day over and over in the city.
This reminded Jiang Qiao of a state from a game he had yed before¡ living dead, which means exactly what it suggests: living corpses.
¡°Hello, your head fell off,¡± Jiang Qiao floated in front of a female living dead, waving his ¡®hand¡¯ to remind the woman that her head had rolled to the side of the road¡
But she ignored Jiang Qiao and continued to haggle with the vendor in front of her for a dried-up carrot.
¡°As expected, no consciousness.¡±
Jiang Qiao¡¯s gaze turned towards the direction of the city¡¯s castle and floated directly towards it.
In ghostly form, it was easy for Jiang Qiao to pass through the castle, where he unexpectedly heard someone talking inside. He immediately hid in the castle corridor on a rafter.
Two figures dressed like nobles¡ corpses were walking slowly down the corridor. Although they had also turned into the living dead, they still retained their original consciousness.
¡°Queen Mei has finally found a new divine shard fragment of the Sea Blue Goddess!¡±
¡°Shh! Don¡¯t mention that name! Do you want Queen Mei to strip you of the right to sleep?¡±
¡°I know, I know¡ I don¡¯t know when we¡¯ll be able to escape this endless cycle. If not for the chance to sleep for decades at a time, I might have gone mad already.¡±
¡°Who hasn¡¯t? Those who still maintain their sanity are probably just Her Majesty the Queen¡¯s knights and the axe-wielding men. Let¡¯s wake them up quickly and break this damned cycle.¡±
@@novelbin@@
¡°I just want to taste good wine again.¡±
Hiding in the corridor, Jiang Qiao listened to the two corpses talking in dry voices about these topics. It made Jiang Qiao feel that he hade at just the right time¡ just in time to hear the most crucial part of their conversation.
In this ne, there were still quite a few living dead who retained their consciousness, likely serving as lesser bosses and elite monsters, while the ultimate boss was Queen Mei.
Following his sense of direction, Jiang Qiao headed deeper into the castle, arriving at the pce where the ruler of this country sat.
When Jiang Qiao saw the figure seated on the throne in the pce¡ he had an extremely, extremely, extremely bad feeling.
¡°Damn it.¡± Jiang Qiao, almost in disbelief, cast a reconnaissance technique on the figure, and her data instantly appeared in front of Jiang Qiao.
¡®Name: Traitor Meier Stearn, Level: 68, ss: Magic/Warrior/Priest, Description: A human queen who devoured the divine shard fragment of Hai Lan. She has been quietly waiting for the opportunity to restore her fragmented country.¡¯
These data points weren¡¯t what was important; what mattered was the reconnaissance technique revealing her health value.
66,390,117/95,123,511.
Her health cap was around 95 million, but her current health was only around 66 million, perhaps due to some reason causing her life value to be damaged.
Here, life value didn¡¯t refer to her ¡®physical condition¡¯ but to the ne¡¯s overall resistance. Simply put, if Jiang Qiao set the living deadmoners on fire outside, her health would also drop.
The prerequisite being that the living dead could indeed be burned.
Her life value was shared with the entire ne.
A mere 66 million health, backed by the yers with the Devouring God¡¯s rule, was a somewhat challenging number, but what really troubled Jiang Qiao was¡
This boss was stunningly beautiful, wasn¡¯t she?
In his ghostly form, Jiang Qiao circled Queen Mei once. She had already ¡®died¡¯ on her throne.
At least that¡¯s how it seemed to Jiang Qiao¡ªa longsword had pierced through Queen Mei¡¯s chest, pinning her to her throne.
But this did not diminish the dazzling radiance of her exquisite appearance under a dim holy light.
This queen had not be a living dead. She kept her eyes tightly closed, her head bowed, and her long hair, transitioning from silver-gray to pale gold, cascaded down from her ears under the holy light. Even up close, Jiang Qiao could not find any w on her fair skin, while her beautiful face held a slightly stern expression.
It gave her a sanctity that made her untouchable.Upd@te by novg0 .co
This was truly a goddess, wasn¡¯t she? Coach, my Hai Lan is definitely a fake!
Jiang Qiao unconsciouslypared her to that gluttonous goddess; this Queen Meipletely overshadowed Hai Lan in aura and looks!
Jiang Qiao could not sense the queen¡¯s breath, although blood continued to drip from the wound in her chest caused by the longsword, down along her legs and onto the ground.
Only then did Jiang Qiao notice that¡ the queen¡¯s blood spread across the floor, seeping into the castle, or perhaps, spreading throughout the entire ne.
She was using this method to sustain her nation, ensuring it could continue to ¡®live.¡¯
Jiang Qiao carefully floated in front of the queen, tentatively reaching out to pull the sword from her chest.
But just as Jiang Qiao¡¯s ¡®hand¡¯ was about to touch the hilt of the sword in her chest, the queen¡¯s right hand suddenly grasped Jiang Qiao¡¯s outstretched hand.
Her initial grip was surprisingly fierce, but as she firmly took hold, the grip became exceedingly gentle. When Jiang Qiao lifted his eyes again, he saw her ice-blue pupils.
¡°Why disturb the rest of a dead person?¡± Her voicecked any emotional tone, ¡°Ah¡ I sense a presence on you¡ one I despise.¡±
As she spoke, she gently released Jiang Qiao¡¯s hand, and Jiang Qiao quickly retreated a few steps, at which point she slowly got up from her seat.
As she stood, she pressed her left hand against her chest and violently pulled out the longsword embedded in her chest, causing blood to gush out once more.
¡°Hai Lan, the great goddess, once my only belief, now the enemy I must erase.¡± She spoke in a haunting voice, her bare feet stepping through the blood as she slowly approached Jiang Qiao.
Hey, hey, hey, is this turning into a boss battle scene already?
¡°Miss Mei, could you wait a moment? I have a few questions before we start the boss fight,¡± Jiang Qiao said, only to find his vision split in two.
This made Jiang Qiao realize¡ his ghostly form had been sliced in half by Miss Mei.
At that moment, Jiang Qiao felt the ghostly entity he had created being absorbed by Queen Mei, forcing him to spend another ten Creation Energy points to revive his ghostly entity.
¡°Is there no room for any conversation before the battle?¡±
Jiang Qiao used his hands to piece together his split body.
¡°A conversation?¡± She tilted her head slightly in thought, and the next second, she swung her sword at Jiang Qiao again, splitting him into two once more. ¡°I will no longer sumb to the Devouring God¡¯s deceit.¡±
Hai Lan, just how bad is your reputation? Your old followers don¡¯t side with you anymore!
Jiang Qiao mocked his goddess¡¯s infamous reputation on the star map as he spent another ten Creation Energy points to revive near Queen Mei.
¡°I am not conversing with you in the capacity of the Devouring God but as a game nner. I believe we can make a deal,¡± Jiang Qiao said, only to be instantly shed by Queen Mei again, this time splitting him into three parts.
So there¡¯s no room for negotiation?

Chapter 52: Chapter 52: Design of Death Penalties and Rewards

Jiang Qiao brought Hai Lan to the ce where yers of Holy Spirite most often¡ the Resurrection Cathedral.
The interior of the Resurrection Cathedral was an independent space. Here, no yer would encounter anyone else, so when Jiang Qiao walked into the Resurrection Cathedral, the noisy sounds from the street werepletely cut off, leaving only the sound of quiet air flow.
Sunlight streamed through the church¡¯s stained ss, falling on the ¡®holy tform¡¯ where yers were resurrected. Sitting on the stone steps leading up to the tform was the Cathedral¡¯s sole NPC, Guardian Spirit¡¤Fureya.
She wore a simple light gray robe, sitting all alone in the vast church, staring at the palm of her hand¡
Unlike other NPCs in Holy Spirit, like the newbie mentors in Lionheart City, who often got overwhelmed by a flood of new yers, Guardian Spirit¡¤Fureya was an exclusive NPC for each yer. This meant that each yer¡¯s Guardian Spirit¡¤Fureya was a unique individual.
This gave Jiang Qiao the idea of making some ¡®modifications¡¯ to her¡ or rather, to them.
¡°Kind Holy Spirit, you have returned.¡±
Jiang Qiao¡¯s Guardian Spirit¡¤Fureya saw Jiang Qiao walk into the Resurrection Cathedral. She slowly stood up from the steps and then gently ced her hands in front of her chest. Jiang Qiao had purposely set her to be like the ¡®virtuous wife¡¯ type of character to yers.
¡°Let me see, first I¡¯ll remove the touch restrictions for NPCs.¡± Jiang Qiao walked up to the Guardian Spirit and removed some of the touch restrictions yers had with NPCs.
In Holy Spirit, yers couldn¡¯t actually touch NPCs. The most they could do was touch their hand. If they were allowed to touch more, Jiang Qiao thought an 18+ version of Holy Spirit could be introduced in the future.
But for now¡ Jiang Qiao was experiencing an 18+ exclusive version of Holy Spirit.
Jiang Qiao reached out and pinched Guardian Spirit¡¤Fureya¡¯s cheek. She remained expressionless as she looked at Jiang Qiao.
Fureya¡¯s cheek felt very real, just like a person in reality, except without any warmth.
All the NPCs in Holy Spirit were created by Jiang Qiao in creator mode, so he now needed to confirm some of the finer details about these NPCs.
@@novelbin@@
Including what it felt like to touch an NPC and whether they had any special reactions when touched in certain areas.
¡°What can I do for you, Great God?¡±
When Jiang Qiao touched her, Fureya instantly switched hernguage mode, identifying Jiang Qiao as a GM and not an ordinary yer.
¡°So even conversations with a GM are preset? Tell me, how many yers have tried to talk to you so far?¡±
Jiang Qiao let go of Fureya¡¯s cheek and began to inquire about her current poprity among yers.
¡°Three thousand four hundred twenty-one people. Many of the young Holy Spirits engage in long conversations with us. Most of them share personal matters from their real lives. I am often seen as a role between a lover and a psychological counselor, even to female Holy Spirits,¡± Fureya said, her voice still devoid of any emotion. This soft and gentle tone indeed¡ made people feel veryfortable.
¡°With around four thousand yers online on the server, I should say you definitely deserve to be our mascot?¡±
Jiang Qiao opened a web browsing tool, and in the Holy Spirit section of the yer forum, discussions about Fureya still dominated the majority.
This game¡¯s initial poprity was mainly due to Fureya-rted posts, and it was only after yers obtained activation codes that they began to discover other joys of Holy Spirit through exploration.
In the forum, most Holy Spirit yers habitually referred to Fureya as ¡®wife¡¯.
¡°Though I said I¡¯d make changes to you all, actually doing it is quite difficult, but this punishment system requires your cooperation.¡±
Jiang Qiao came here to design a new punishment system for yers.
Holy Spirit¡¯s death penalty was not very severe. When a yer died, their equipment durability decreased slightly, and even their experience points were not deducted.
This type of death penalty was verymon in online games.
Jiang Qiao did not intend to change the death penalty of Holy Spirit¡¯s original ne, as the original ne of Holy Spirit was essentially arge ¡®novice vige¡¯ for yers. After leveling up to the maximum in Holy Spirit¡¯s original ne, the game would truly begin.
Jiang Qiao aimed to increase the death penalty in the ¡®Hai Lan Divine ne Fragment¡¯ instance, so that yers would not be too reckless when fighting Queen Mei.
¡°Penalty? Jiang Qiao, you¡¯re not going to¡¡±
Hai Lan couldn¡¯t bear to finish her sentence, making a gesture of slicing her neck with her hand.
¡°If I actually killed off Fureya, it¡¯s likely that yers woulde after me instead of Queen Mei,¡± Jiang Qiao said, having some self-awareness. The NPC Fureya was indeed the soft spot of most yers.
Poking at yers¡¯ soft spot with a needle might be tolerable, but breaking it off would probablynd Jiang Qiao in trouble.
¡°Is there no other way?¡±
Seeing Jiang Qiao was serious about doing something to Fureya, out ofpassion for her creation, Hai Lan stood up to plead for Fureya and all the yers.
¡°If the death penalty isn¡¯t intensified, yers willpletely throw caution to the wind in your Divine Fragment ne. Haven¡¯t you seen yers use corpse runs to progress when an instance is too difficult?¡± Jiang Qiao said.
¡°I¡¯ve seen it, but what do you mean by intensify?¡± Hai Lan had watched countless times as Jiang Qiao raided instances on screen.
Every phase during instance raids was a struggle, with guilds or teams dying repeatedly, progressing inch by inch.
Jiang Qiao would not restrict the corpse running strategy; instead, he wanted yers to use it wisely rather than die recklessly.
¡°When yers die three times in the Divine Fragment ne, Fureya will lose her life and return to a doll-like state,¡± Jiang Qiao exined.
¡°Isn¡¯t that still killing her?¡±
Hai Lan seemed ready to protect Fureya from Jiang Qiao¡¯s imagined de, fearing he would chop her down.
¡°It¡¯s just a status of being mute,¡± Jiang Qiao exined. ¡°In the game¡¯s setting, the resurrection power of Holy Spiritses from Guardian Spirit¡¤Fureya, and enemies in your Divine Fragment ne can strip yers of this resurrection power. This is the storyline in the game. After dying three times in your Divine Fragment ne, Fureya will weaken and be an ordinary doll. yers need to kill the monsters that previously defeated them to break this curse.¡±
¡°What if the number of consecutive deaths exceeds three times?¡± Hai Lan whispered, ¡°Some yers might not care about Fureya.¡±
¡°Starting from the fourth death, yers will not be protected by Guardian Spirit¡¤Fureya. Each death after the fourth will incur a 50% experience reduction, and the fifth death will directly decrease their level by one. This curse will persist until enough monsters are killed to lift the curse,¡± Jiang Qiao borated on a death penalty severe enough to make yers want to smash their keyboards.
¡°However, once the curse is lifted, the lost experience will be restored, and Guardian Spirit¡¤Fureya can be revived, continuing until the second curse begins.¡±
¡°Doesn¡¯t it get progressively harder? Are you sure yers will still help us fight Queen Mei with these penalties?¡± Hai Lan wondered, feeling the penalties might provoke a yer rebellion.
¡°High riskse with high rewards. I¡¯ll design a series of irresistible rewards, and the first reward will be unlocking the second phase of affections with Fureya,¡± Jiang Qiao¡¯s gaze shifted back to Guardian Spirit¡¤Fureya, who, sensing something, brought her fingertips to her lips, tugging slightly to form a somewhat awkward smile.
This reminded Jiang Qiao of something: ¡°Quickly say you like him, so he can recharge another ten thousand dors.¡±

When Starry Brain had the idea of going crazy leveling up, the next thing he did was¡ post on the forum first.
This was a professional ethic as the founder of the yermunity Book Team. He wanted to make Fureya¡¯s hopeful dialogue public to all yers who considered Fureya their virtual wife.
Upholding the principle of ¡°Since you like Fureya and I like Fureya, doesn¡¯t that make us friends?¡± Starry had no intention of hiding this quest.
The post was quickly edited by Starry, titled ¡°Method Found to Unlock Fureya¡¯s Second Stage Affection! Doll Girl Calling You Home to Level Up!¡±
Starry¡¯s post was published in the Holy Spirit section for less than ten seconds when his message notifications popped up with two or three new replies.
By the time Starry exited the Resurrection Cathedral, his new reply notifications had surged to twenty-three.
This was probably the most exciting moment for every poster: watching the new reply notifications continuously pop up.
When new reply notifications kept climbing to fifty-two, Starry knew his post had once again taken the top spot for yermunity poprity.
Back when he was writing instance plot analyses during Discord, it took him a whole day to get fifty or so replies, but now, in less than half an hour, the responses had quickly increased to fifty-two.
@@novelbin@@
This feeling couldn¡¯t be described with just the word ¡°thrilling.¡±
Starry opened his edited post; it already had a total of one hundred and sixty-one replies.
¡°Does this mean my wife can change clothes when I reach level fifty?¡± replied Magic Power of Love.
¡°Newbie little war method in Gray Mist Canyon looking for help, any expert can rescue the newbie, I¡¯ve been looking for a party to do an instance for a whole day, I also want my wife to wear new clothes.¡± replied Big Iron Ball.
¡°Unlocking second stage affection doesn¡¯t necessarily mean changing clothes, are you sure Holy Spirit doesn¡¯t have an 18X restriction version?¡± replied Dream Not Waking.
¡°Shut up, scoundrel upstairs, my doll girl is sacred and invible, and also, Gray Mist Canyon¡¯s war method, PM me your coordinates.¡± replied Chen Shuo.
¡°Boohoo¡I also want to y with you guys, want a wife, begging the officials to give me activation qualifications, I¡¯ve been hanging on the official website for three days and nights.¡± replied Mysterious Always.
The replies to the post were still increasing, Starry closed the post and directly contacted his friends in Holy Spirit, at least for the sake of his own doll girl, he had to quickly level up this ount to the max.
When Starry ran towards the city gate, Jiang Qiao also walked out of the Resurrection Cathedral with Hai Lan.
¡°What should we do next?¡± Hai Lan hovered by Jiang Qiao¡¯s side, watching the street¡crowded with bouncing new yers running past.
Hai Lan suspected these Holy Spirit yers had a condition where they would die if they didn¡¯t jump while walking. Eight out of ten Holy Spirit yers walked while jumping and the other two sat on mounts jumping.
¡°I don¡¯t know.¡± Jiang Qiao gave Hai Lan an answer that left her somewhat confused.
¡°Do you really think I¡¯m omnipotent? I¡¯ve done everything I can do as a game nner at this stage.¡± Jiang Qiao nced at Hai Lan¡¯s surprised expression as if saying, ¡°Invincible Jiang Qiao is also helpless.¡±
But thinking carefully, since Jiang Qiao and Hai Lan had met, Hai Lan¡¯s biggest role was helping Jiang Qiao enable the creator mode. After that, this goddess turned into a pet-like character.
Hai Lan had never yed modern video games, so she couldn¡¯t give Jiang Qiao any advice on Holy Spirit¡¯s operations; Jiang Qiao understood this. But Jiang Qiao wasn¡¯t exactly a professional operator either, he had also figured out Holy Spirit¡¯s various developments bit by bit.
¡°Then shouldn¡¯t we do a detailed count?¡± Hai Lan finally realized she wasn¡¯t Jiang Qiao¡¯s pet but the omnipotent goddess in all of Holy Spirit¡¯s lore.
¡°Count?¡±
¡°Like the specificbat power of the subordinates, simr to the legions of various world countries in my previous world, this way at least it will be easier to manage when war starts.¡± Hai Lan said.
¡°Manage¡ should say it will make you feel more at ease.¡±
Jiang Qiao saw through Hai Lan¡¯s thoughts; she now seemed somewhatcking in confidence. After all, Queen Mei¡¯s level was a whopping sixty-five, with nearly sixty-six million health points.
Even if yers reached the maximum level of fifty, with Queen Mei¡¯s potentially resurrected undead army, in Hai Lan¡¯s view, it would still likely be a tough battle.
¡°I¡¯m not scared.¡± Hai Lan argued.
¡°I didn¡¯t say you were scared. The counting work was something I nned to doter. This task, it¡¯s definitely not enough to just look at yers¡¯ paper data, we also need to see the average skill level of yers, well¡might as well use instance runs to observe each guild one by one.¡± Jiang Qiao said.
¡°Guilds, are the yers in guilds technically skilled?¡±
Hai Lan had seen the difference between professional yers and ordinary yers in the Gun Knight provocation, like Zhao Mingwei; top-tier yers like him could probably take on ten yers of the same level.
This was just Hai Lan¡¯s viewpoint, Jiang Qiao put more importance on the management capabilities of yer guilds.
Solo yers were a bunch of uncontroble gueri fighters; Jiang Qiao couldn¡¯t uniformly control where they wanted to go or what monsters they wanted to fight. But it was different with yers belonging to guilds.
Especially those nning to dominate in Holy Spirit¡¯srge guilds.
In Jiang Qiao¡¯s eyes, they were no less than highbat-quality legions with battlefield nning.
And Jiang Qiao, as Holy Spirit¡¯s GM, was the ruler issuingmands to these ¡°legions,¡± but in ancient times, legions were driven to action by the ruler¡¯s pressure and severe punishment for disobedience.
In the game Holy Spirit, Jiang Qiao¡¯s driving force for guilds was quests, reputation, the glory from instance first kills, and poprity among yers.
As long as these existed, if Jiang Qiao wanted these guilds to eliminate the boss in an instance, they would immediately raise their butcher knives and charge to the boss¡¯sir. Even if they got wiped out a dozen times, they would find a way to kill that boss.
Jiang Qiao wouldn¡¯t even need to issue any quest, just tell the poor boss, ¡°You¡¯ve entered the instance, I¡¯ve set up epic gear and mount rewards, your first kill will be announced server-wide and permanently recorded in the game¡¯s historical events.¡±
The next day, arge guild would handle that ¡°boss¡± for Jiang Qiao.
Now the question was, how many such powerful workforce groups¡ ahem, rge guilds were there in Holy Spirit?

Chapter 58: Chapter 58: Overview of In-Game and Out-of-Game Ecosystem
Editor: EndlessFantasy Trantion
Three dayster, Jiang Qiao was browsing the financial report and operation status of ¡°Holy Spirit¡± since itsunch in the Astrology Tower.
The Book of Systems presented various data from the ¡°Holy Spirit¡± server in a projected format in front of Jiang Qiao.
ording to the Book of Systems, the revenue brought by ¡°Holy Spirit¡± to Jiang Qiao was¡ zero.
Zero as it was, themercial value of ¡°Holy Spirit¡± had already fully manifested with the influx of yers. The price of a gold coin in ¡°Holy Spirit¡± had risen to 372 yuan, which was double that of the firstunch period.
The more yers there were, the more the gold price increased instead of decreasing, which was within Jiang Qiao¡¯s expectations, and what was truly expensive in ¡°Holy Spirit¡± was the special equipment.
¡°Aren¡¯t you going to put some equipment on this trading website?¡±
Hai Lan was using a small browsing tool on the Tiangong webpage to order takeaway. She used the webpage that Jiang Qiao often used, so there were some websites bookmarked by Jiang Qiao.
She was learning to surf the inte very quickly, for instance, today she discovered a game item trading website called the 4396 Game Trading Network.
This website was thergest game item and ount trading tform in China. When browsing this website, Hai Lan sessfully found the ¡°Holy Spirit¡± section.
The ¡°Holy Spirit¡± section showed that the exchange rate of ¡°Holy Spirit¡± gold coin to Chinese currency was 1 to 372, and the recent increase was 90%, with a continuous upward trend likely.
This made more money than stock trading.
No matter how many times Jiang Qiao looked at it, he couldn¡¯t help but sigh.
But what really caught Hai Lan¡¯s eye was¡ the equipment trading section of the ¡°Holy Spirit¡± section, the most expensive item there was called ¡°Grona¡¯s Piggy Bank¡±.
This was a special piece of equipment with no attribute bonuses, only an effect of increasing the amount of money obtained when killing bosses and elite monsters by 25%.
Special equipment had no level restrictions, but the equipment itself upied a yer¡¯s equipment slot.
The equipment for ¡°Holy Spirit¡± yers included helmets, tops, belts, pants, shoes, cloaks, gloves, two rings, two trinkets, plus an additional Blessing Totem and a two-handed weapon slot.
Some Hunter and Gunslinger yers also had a ¡°Special Ammunition¡± equipment slot.
In total, there were fourteen equipment slots, if a yer obtained a piece of special equipment that was a ring, this special equipment with nobat attribute bonus would upy one of the ring slots.
In Jiang Qiao¡¯s design, special equipment had some¡ April Fool¡¯s Day effects, most of them had negative effects outweighing positive ones. Equipment like Grona¡¯s Piggy Bank which could be used by all sses and had no negative effects had a high price on the ¡°Holy Spirit¡± equipment trading website.
The price of Grona¡¯s Piggy Bank on the official ¡°Holy Spirit¡± website was 430,000 Chinese yuan, just this one piece of special equipment was enough for Jiang Qiao to buy a private car.
¡°Holy Spirit¡± prevented the possibility of operatives using multiple ounts or bots to farm gold coins, so the gold price of ¡°Holy Spirit¡± could potentially keep increasing. The Piggy Bank was a trinket slot equipment, if a rich yer bought two Piggy Banks to wear, they could produce 50% more gold coins when diving into instances, and it wouldn¡¯t take long to earn it back.
¡°I still have about ten more! There¡¯s also the Fire Elf¡¯s Wrath, Light Elf¡¯s Memory, Water Elf¡¯s Mercy, and so on,¡± Hai Lan said, a whole pile of Grona¡¯s Piggy Banks appearing in her hands, with three glowing Light Elf¡¯s Memories floating above her head, three small fireballs dropped beside her, and a cluster of liquid drops gathered at her feet.
@@novelbin@@
The Elemental Elf series was also high-priced equipment, and it belonged to the non-slot upying ¡°Blessing Totem¡± type. Its effect was to grant a certain probability of double casting for skills below level 35 of the corresponding attribute.
The stable price on the 4396 Game Trading Network was upwards of 300,000 yuan.
¡°You really came up with the idea of the game¡¯s official selling equipment, huh.¡±
Jiang Qiao closed the Book of Systems and mmed it directly on Hai Lan¡¯s head, causing all the Piggy Banks she was holding to scatter all over the floor.
¡°Is it not allowed?¡± Hai Lan rubbed her forehead, this was the second time she had been scolded by Jiang Qiao foring up with a bad idea.
¡°If you want to go out of business, then sure. The reason special equipment is so expensive is because there¡¯s no way to currently output it.¡±
Jiang Qiao knew that the special equipment currently listed on the 4396 Game Trading Network all came from the first Abyss Hunt. Currently, there was no way to obtain special equipment from the main map of ¡°Holy Spirit¡±.
As for epic equipment¡ yers could obtain it from every hero-level instance, and although the difficulty was high, at least there was an output. A yer could find a good team and grind a month or so to get a full set of epic equipment, it wasn¡¯t that difficult.
¡°Nobody would probably know, right?¡± Hai Lan really had nomon sense on this aspect.
¡°You can¡¯t spend that much on a takeaway meal! ¡®Holy Spirit¡¯ will be profitable in the future, but right now the important thing is to expand the number of server users and increase the average level of yers.¡±
Jiang Qiao had a very indifferent view about money. He wasn¡¯t without desires, when it was time to make money he would, but when it wasn¡¯t, he could easily control his desires. The bad idea Hai Lan proposed was the kind of money Jiang Qiao thought should not be made.
¡°Okay.¡± Hai Lan obediently ordered her takeaway.
She was very obedient in this regard, which made Jiang Qiao feel more and more like he wasn¡¯t raising a goddess but rather a pet.
After analyzing the trends in the financial system within ¡°Holy Spirit¡±, Jiang Qiao continued to open the Book of Systems to focus on the growth progress of the server itself.
Jiang Qiao¡¯s conspiracy¡ hmm¡ new n was very sessful. The first was the newly released main story quest by the Doll Girl, which made arge number of ¡°Holy Spirit¡± yers, including Zhao Mingwei, rush to level up like crazy.
Secondly, the newlyunched MVP rey feature of ¡°Holy Spirit¡± made many guilds startpeting fiercely for instance clear records. The frequency of guilds teaming up to run the Tower of Trial was several times higher than before.
Jiang Qiao felt that the guild leaders were starting to get serious. They not only started researching in-game, but seemed to be pulling in outside help as well.
Over these three days, both Zhao Mingwei and Jiang Qiao spent their time responding to instance record invitations from various guilds, with Zhao Mingwei being the main yer and Jiang Qiao as an essory.
As a result, the server¡¯s growth rate doubled in those three days. Previously, the yer limit on the server could steadily increase by 300 people per day, but over these three days it reached a steady growth of 700 yers per day.
The ¡°Holy Spirit¡± yer count finally surpassed the 5,000 mark, reaching 6,700 yers.
Hai Lan wanted to order a cake to celebrate, but Jiang Qiao knew that this number of yers was nothingpared to national level online games with daily active users in the millions. The 6,700 registered yers were really nothing.
This 6,700 yer limit was the result of the first and second batch of ¡°Holy Spirit¡± yers grinding monsters in the Tower of Trial.
¡°Next is the growth of Creation Energy?¡± Jiang Qiao looked at the most basic Creation Energy, which had increased from 14,000 to 19,000 over these past few days, with an increase of three to four points every seven or eight minutes, asionally jumping to five or sixty points.
All Creation Energy came from the monsters killed by yers in the Tower of Trial, and the energy obtained from yers dismantling relics.
¡°Hmm? Has the Wealth Child Segmane again?¡±
Jiang Qiao saw the rate of increase in Creation Energy suddenly jump by +700, realizing immediately that his big money-maker had returned.

If Jiang Qiao¡¯s head would show a +1 sign every time he gained a bit of Creation Energy, then his head would now be bursting with +700 and +600 numbers.
Right now, Jiang Qiao was mingling with the yers at the Tower of Trial, who surrounded Segman as if they were watching a wrestling match.
¡°The tenth piece of equipment failed to reach eleven; this NPC must be a rigged one from the officials.¡±
¡°Would a rigged NPC fail ten times in a row?¡±
¡°Whoa! It seeded! A +13 gauntlet!¡±
¡°This is definitely rigged!¡±
Jiang Qiao listened to the surrounding yers¡¯ discussions as Segman put the fifth artifact into the enhancement machine, which nked and nged before spitting out a gauntlet radiating a crimson light.
Segman¡¯s face bore a smile that was halfway between delight and mania. He didn¡¯t say anything but took out another artifact, preparing to put it into the enhancement machine.
At this moment, the Gun Knight behind Segman realized he had been seriously negligent! Allowing Segman to continue his entanglement with that bizarre enhancement machine, the entire Flowing Water Country¡¯s artifacts might all turn to g.
¡°Prince Segman, stop touching that strange machine!¡±
The Gun Knight grabbed Segman¡¯s shoulders and stared at him as he spoke.
¡°Put it on.¡± Segman didn¡¯t argue, handing the crimson-glowing gauntlet to the Gun Knight.
¡°Power Bracer, I¡¯ve worn this before. Prince Segman, you must stop throwing precious artifacts into¡ Wait, what¡¯s happening?¡±
The Gun Knight put on the Power Bracer handed over by Segman while speaking. He had worn this bracer in his youth, which could enhance the wearer¡¯s strength slightly.
The strength enhancement effect was very noticeable, but the drawback was that it consumed physical strength at an exponential rate over time.
However, when the Gun Knight put on the +13 enhanced Power Bracer, he only felt capable of punching through ten bulls!
If the previous power boost of the bracer was 0.1, now it was 0.7!
¡°Impossible, this is the Power Bracer number 307. It couldn¡¯t be.¡± The Gun Knight mumbled to himself, looking at the number engraved by the Artifact Preservation Association on the bracer and the +13 symbol next to it.
¡°This is the effect of this enhancement machine. If this symbol changes to thirteen, the artifact¡¯s effect is tripled!¡±
Segman said while shifting his gaze to the crimson spear in the Gun Knight¡¯s hand.
¡°Kermo, do you want to give it a try?¡±
¡°This¡ No!¡±
The Gun Knight quickly hid the treasured spear behind him. This was a symbol of his status, a family heirloom passed down through the generations!
If he turned this crimson spear into g, evenmitting seppuku on the spot wouldn¡¯t redeem his guilt.
¡°It won¡¯t turn to g before reaching ten! It won¡¯t even fail till six, at most consuming some magic stones! Don¡¯t you crave for more powerful strength?¡±
By this point, Segman was fully possessed by his desire for power, nearly twisted with ambition to rival the strength of those Saint Spirits.
¡°This¡ This¡ No! Your Highness, I can¡¯t take this risk, nor can you!¡± The Gun Knight resisted the temptation of power but still took out a pendant from his chest. ¡°But if it¡¯s really as you say, the first six enhancements are risk-free¡¡±
Another one had fallen to the addiction.
Jiang Qiao listened quietly to Segman and the Gun Knight¡¯s conversation, while his gaze wandered to other groups of yers.
In these three days, many spies sent by other countries had arrived at the Tower of Trial to probe the secrets of the Saint Spirits.
The prophecy of the Flowing Water Country¡¯s doom might have spread among the native world, but not many believed it; they were merely testing if they could ally with the Saint Spirits.
Jiang Qiao didn¡¯t care much about the espionage and attempts to recruit by other countries. If those spies could truly sway the yers, Jiang Qiao would be quite happy¡ because their recruitment meant rewards, and rewards meant the yer could be stronger.
The Saint Spirits had a dynamic task system that included dynamic dialogue options.
These were akin to AI-based judgment systems, simr to the dialogue between the Rabbit Doll and Segman earlier, which was based on this dynamic task system.
Whatever stories the yers could write in the Holy Spirit World or other worlds in the future, Jiang Qiao didn¡¯t intend to interfere. His role was to guide the overarching direction.
@@novelbin@@
So now, Jiang Qiao needed to prepare for the impending Divine War.
¡°Hai Lan, let¡¯s go,¡± Jiang Qiao said.
¡°Huh? Aren¡¯t you going to entice them to toss in more artifacts? I see quite a few natives here considering it.¡±
Hai Lan had a keen eye; her sharpness in spotting potential ¡°food¡± locations almost depleted Jiang Qiao¡¯s hidden food reserves within the half-month she stayed at his house.
This world was no exception. Just floating mid-air, Hai Lan spotted several native spies mixed in with the yers, eyeing the enhancement machine¡¯s power with eagerness.
¡°Enhancing equipment can wait. Now we need to start promoting the Divine War instance.¡±
Jiang Qiao nced at the level leaderboard. ¡°Add Milk, No Extra Charge,¡± the Hero Emperor, had solidly reached level 40. In ten days, she would likely hit max level. yers in the second tier were all at level 38.
The leveling craze brought by the Doll Girl exceeded Jiang Qiao¡¯s expectations. Soon, the Saint Spirits would see a wave of max level yers.
Max-level yers would undoubtedly desire new content, prompting Jiang Qiao to elerate the game¡¯s version updates.
¡°Promote it? How? Like you said before, with something like, ¡®Bro,e to Divine War and sh me?¡¯¡±
Hai Lan¡¯s memory was excellent; she remembered all the ¡°weird talk¡± Jiang Qiao had said perfectly.
¡°New instances need yers to know what they are; a brief intro of the bosses and the background story is necessary.¡±
Jiang Qiao left the Tower of Trial and returned to the Astrologer¡¯s Tower in the Saint Spirit World. Hai Lan followed him and understood his intention when she saw Jiang Qiao creating a new ¡°scouting machine.¡±
¡°Are you heading to my divine dimension for photos and videos?¡± Hai Lan was now a bona fide goddess of the twenty-second century, even taking food delivery photos for her social media, though Jiang Qiao was her only friend.
But Jiang Qiao believed¡ if the Divine War was sessful, Hai Lan¡¯s friend list would grow.
¡°More urately, it¡¯s to take obituary photos of those bosses,¡± Jiang Qiao said.
Chapter 63 - 62 NPCs
Chapter 63: Chapter 62 NPCs
Jiang Qiao hadpleted his reconnaissance of the Hai Lan¡¯s divine ne Fragment and began to work on writing the copy for the instance event.
Regarding the main storyline of Holy Spirit World, Jiang Qiao didn¡¯t n to make up stories out of thin air; instead, he decided to write everything based on the real-life story progression.
However, during the writing process, Jiang Qiao still made some minor adaptations. For example, it was true that Queen Mei was a Traitor, but on the official website, Jiang Qiao changed the yers¡¯ act of depleting her health to purifying the Corpse Curse.
Jiang Qiao also specifically mentioned on the official website that this was a battle of doom. If the yers couldn¡¯t defeat the army of corpses under Queen Mei¡¯smand, the world of Holy Spirit might face a disastrous fate.
Jiang Qiao felt that most yers would probably take this as a background story.
But if the yers really couldn¡¯t withstand Queen Mei¡¯s forces, the ne of the Tower of Trial would be the first to suffer, followed by the ne of its native inhabitants.
By then, Queen Mei¡¯s ambition would have been fulfilled, and she could use these two nes to create an endless army to invade the various nes on the star chart.
¡°Just for the sake of a wife, everyone should have a sense of urgency, right?¡± Jiang Qiao muttered as he uploaded three photos of Queen Mei sitting on her throne to the official website.
Jiang Qiao¡¯s photography skills weren¡¯t all that great, but Queen Mei¡¯s foundation was so good that no matter how he took the picture, it came out looking like CG-level beautiful.
Especially when the Holy Light fell on Queen Mei, the photos were breathtakingly beautiful on their own.
¡°Hold on, hold on! Are you sure the yers won¡¯t¡ fall in love with her instead?¡± Hai Lan saw these three photos and tried to stop Jiang Qiao first. Queen Mei¡¯s charm and Fureya¡¯s charm were at two extremes.
One was like a dazzling sun, while the other was like a hearth fire illuminating the yers in the dark. To Hai Lan¡¯s aesthetic, Queen Mei¡¯s charm seemed to firmly overshadow their own doll-like sister.
@@novelbin@@
¡°Why would they fall in love with someone else?¡± Jiang Qiao asked, puzzled.
¡°Don¡¯t you think this queen looks better than our Fureya?¡± Hai Lan used ¡°our¡± to describe Fureya.
¡°Then won¡¯t the yers take Queen Mei as a concubine?¡±
Jiang Qiao¡¯s nextment made Hai Lan tilt her head slightly in confusion, as if a big question mark appeared above her head at that moment.
Hai Lan seemed to ponder what the term ¡°concubine¡± meant.
¡°Just as the name implies, it means a second wife.¡± Jiang Qiao still used a term that Hai Lan could understand. ¡°There¡¯s no monogamy in Holy Spirit World, and calling a doll sister ¡®wife¡¯ is just expressing affection. If the yers can fall for the doll sisters, then there¡¯s no difference in them liking Queen Mei as well.¡±
This phenomenon Jiang Qiao described had already appeared on the forum of Holy Spirit World.
There were quite a few beautiful NPCs in the game; their charm just wasn¡¯t as high as Miss Fureya¡¯s.
For instance, a flower-selling NPC girl named Dor from Eagle w City had been unearthed by yers because of her high attractiveness, and a small portion of yers on the forum had unterally dered her their second wife.
Jiang Qiao felt it wouldn¡¯t be a problem if the yers took Queen Mei as their third wife or even fourth wife.
¡°This¡ this¡ isn¡¯t this too disloyal?¡±
While speaking, Hai Lan logged into the Holy Spirit World forum, and after careful searching, she found that in just three days, due to the main mission released by Guardian Spirit¡¤Furya, the yers¡¯ hearts had been touched. While dering ¡®I will always like Miss Fureya.jpg¡¯, they also started searching Holy Spirit World for beautiful NPCs, both male and female¡
Looking at the content of several posts found by Hai Lan, these Holy Spirit World yers weren¡¯t just talking about a second wife¡ªthird, fourth, fifth concubines, the whole series was lined up.
¡°But it seems like the fundamental problem hasn¡¯t been solved.¡± Hai Lan felt that her values were a bit shaken after reading for a while, so she sensibly closed those posts on the forum and redirected the topic back to the issue of Queen Mei¡¯s charm being too great, which could lead to yers¡¯ defection or going easy on her.
¡°So, in this god-tier ne war, the task I¡¯m giving yers isn¡¯t to kill Queen Mei, but to purify her and free her from the Corpse Curse.¡±
Jiang Qiao, after conducting two investigations, could basically confirm that Queen Mei¡¯s health pool was shared with the entire zombie army of the ne.
To put it bluntly, killing a single ordinary zombie soldier could also injure Queen Mei herself.
Jiang Qiao also informed all yers about this on the official event description on the website.
If there really were yers who liked Queen Mei, then they would fight even harder in this god-tier battle.
¡°Some rewards are also essential,¡± Jiang Qiao said as he brought out a reward he had prepared with great care, a piece of Special Equipment avable only during the god-tier battle.
A figurine, or rather not just a figurine, it should be described as a chibi-sized sprite.
¡°Is this a mini version of Queen Mei?¡± Hai Lan recognized who the prototype of the sprite Jiang Qiao held was when he gently poked its light golden hair, and it shook its head impatiently.
This action told Hai Lan that this was not just an ordinary piece of equipment; it had at least some measure of self-awareness.
¡°This is a special totem equipment, called Miniature Queen Mei; its effect is an active skill that can help yers remove a negative status.¡±
Jiang Qiao, while saying this, ced the mini Queen Mei onto his shoulder. This chibi sprite had a simr appearance and aura to Queen Mei herself.
¡°This Special Equipment will be one of the hardest rewards to obtain in the god-tier battle. To exchange for this equipment, one must achieve outstanding results in the god-tier battle,¡± Jiang Qiao said with a smile.
¡°You¡ are so wicked,¡± Hai Lan could only think of the word ¡®wicked¡¯ after a moment.
¡°How can you say wicked? I¡¯m just increasing the yers¡¯ enthusiasm for raiding instances,¡± Jiang Qiao replied.
Jiang Qiao had finished editing the introduction page for the god-tier battle event while chatting with Hai Lan, but he didn¡¯t n to release it just yet.
The event would have to wait until the first batch of max-level yers emerged before Jiang Qiao released the full details of the event on the official website.
As for what Jiang Qiao needed to do now, it was probably just leveling up.
Jiang Qiao opened his private chat messages, and his friend list had already grown quite a bit¡ including guild leaders, added while Jiang Qiao was ying as Zhao Mingwei.
Zhao Mingwei had also coincidentally sent a private message to Jiang Qiao at that moment.
¡®Running an instance?¡¯
¡®At this time? Are you giving up professional y for your wife?¡¯
Jiang Qiao nced at the time. It was only twelve o¡¯clock. Ever since Zhao Mingwei had found out about the main quest involving the doll girl, he had been running instances much more frequently than before.
¡®It¡¯s the weekend. I¡¯m taking a day off¡ and besides, May Day ising up soon.¡¯
Zhao Mingwei¡¯s message reminded Jiang Qiao that in nine days, Huaguo would be weing a seven-day mega holiday. Jiang Qiao was d that May Day in this parallel world was still so lengthy.
That would also be the best time for Jiang Qiao tounch the god-tier battle event. He had already thought of the slogan for the promotion.
Where to go for the long May Day holiday? Join the seven-day tour of the god-tier battle ne! Not only can you spend the holidays with tens of thousands of zombies, but you can also have a close look at Queen Mei!

Tower of Trial ne.
The prophecy is true, the apocalypse is reallying.
The Gun Knight lifted his gaze to the sky outside the Tower of Trial; a deep blue orb had appeared in the sky of the Tower nine days ago, resembling both the sun and a meteorite about to fall.
But the orb moved very slowly, initially so small it seemed like a mere speck of sesame seed, barely visible without a close look.
Today, that deep blue orb had grown to dominate half the sky of the Tower of Trial.
With his monocr telescope, the Gun Knight could see cities reflected inside the orb; this was neither a meteorite nor the sun, but another world.
A deste world was gradually approaching the ne of the Tower of Trial, and the very moment this deste world made contact with the Tower¡¯s ne, the foretold apocalypse would arrive.
¡°Sir, what are they doing?¡±
The Gun Knight¡¯s adjutant, who had just been transferred to the Tower of Trial ne that day, asked him.
The four great empires had a written agreement to share the Tower of Trial; military forces were not allowed within the tower, this high tower was a treasure shared by all the world¡¯s original inhabitants.
Yet, the prophecy of apocalypse forced Flowing Water Country to break this covenant, deploying thousands of elite soldiers outside the Tower of Trial in advance.
The adjutant of the Gun Knight hade with the soldiers of Flowing Water Country, and what he was inquiring about were the Sacred Spirits, hopping around outside the Tower in the distance.
¡°Photography,¡± said the Gun Knight, uttering a word his adjutant couldn¡¯t understand, ¡°They¡¯re taking a group photo.¡±
¡°Group photo?¡±
¡°It¡¯s about capturing this image for posterity. When His Majesty the King travels abroad and encounters wondrous sights, doesn¡¯t he have court painters record them? That¡¯s what these Spirits are doing.¡±
The Gun Knight nced at the group of Spirits in the distance, busy taking photos and posing for a group picture.
When the azure ¡®Destruction ne¡¯ appeared high above the Tower of Trial, the Spirits had also shown great surprise.
But their astonishment was unlike that of the Gun Knight and his soldiers; his soldiers¡¯ rm stemmed from a fear of the unknown, as the mere merger of nes was already beyond theirprehension.
Moreover, the prophecy of the pending apocalypse left the soldiers in a state of panic, but the astonishment of the Spirits¡
¡°It¡¯s really just a teaser for the new version of the game, just as the forum analysis said.¡±
¡°Did you get the screenshot? After the update, we probably won¡¯t see such a spectacr scene anymore.¡±
¡°Already on it!¡±
¡°Anyone up for a dance battle?¡±
Listening to the mor of the Spirits in the distance, after spending nine days with them, the Gun Knight had gradually gotten used to the mindset of these saviors.
It would be more apt to describe their emotions as excitement rather than surprise, as these Spirits were looking forward to the apocalypse, even with an eager anticipation.
And just then, arge number of Darkme soldiers suddenly appeared on the other side of the Flowing Water Country encampment.
¡°Tourism? Kermo! I believe in your nation¡¯s prophecy of doom, but can you really trust these saviors who seem like they¡¯ve run straight out of a circus?¡±
A burly man approached the Gun Knight; he was themander Atrang leading the soldiers of Dark me Country, who had also been monitoring the changes in the Tower of Trial.
But this was the first time they had led soldiers to be stationed at the Tower.
¡°The circus is indeed a very fitting description,¡± the Gun Knight nodded in agreement.
The area where the fairy merchant of the Tower of Trial was located had turned into a gathering ce for high-level Spirit yers, and afterpleting an instance, some yers went to the fairy merchant to sing and dance.
It was literally singing and dancing. Jiang Qiao had optimized the Spirit dance system, and there were actually a few Spirit yers who aimed to collect all the dance moves in the Spiritmunity.
So, to the native inhabitants, it looked like a group of strange people with horse, bear, and pixel heads dancing around a weak, helpless, and pitiable fairy merchant, almost like some tribal sacrifice ritual.
¡°Can we really rely on them?¡± General Atrang had heard from the Flowing Water Country that these Spirits were key to saving the world.
¡°I cannot judge their reliability, but as for theirbat strength, I suggest General Atrang tries a few rounds with the Spirits in that arena,¡± the Gun Knight pointed to the arena that had been set up earlier.
¡°Really? There¡¯s not much to do during my garrison period anyway,¡± General Atrang seemed eager to try and went to personally test the strength of those Spirits.
¡°Oh! Right¡ a small piece of advice, remember to tell those Spirits ¡®not to use high-level skills¡¯ when you get on the arena,¡± the Gun Knight kindly shared the experience he had gathered from his nine days ofbat in the arena.
In those nine days, the level of the Spirit yers the Gun Knight fought against rose from thirty to fifty. As the Spirits¡¯ levels increased, the fights became more challenging for the Gun Knight, but once he figured out the Spirits¡¯ skills, he could still instantly defeat some rookies.
But that was provided those rookies¡¯ level forty-five skills didn¡¯t have toorge a range.
¡°High-level skills?¡± General Atrang didn¡¯t understand what the Gun Knight was talking about.
¡°Each of those Spirits has mastered one to three very powerful spells. Once unleashed, the arena could be destroyed, so such skills are supposedly banned in the contests,¡± the Gun Knight exined. ¡°For example¡¡±
Just as the Gun Knight was thinking of an example, a panicked shout suddenly came from the arena nearby.
¡°Get out of the way! I hit the wrong button!¡±
¡°This¡ this is not what we talked about before!¡±
As the Gun Knight turned his head to look at the arena, he noticed one of his Knights was fighting against a Berserker yer.
The Berserker¡¯s greatsword instantly solidified with red blood crystals, and he leaped from the air to infuse the Blood Qi Power within his body into the ground.
The Gun Knight had fought against many Berserker yers, so he was very familiar with this move and knew how to dodge it.
But the problem was that the elite soldier under the Gun Knight¡¯smand didn¡¯t know how.
The Berserker¡¯s sword of Blood Qi fiercely split the ground. As the ground shook, the elite soldier fell, and then arge amount of scorching blood spewed from the cracks in the ground, engulfing the elite soldier likeva.
¡°Carry him off! Next!¡±
The Gun Knight only heard a shout from a Pharmacist responsible for healing below the arena.
They wouldn¡¯t truly die even if they died in the Tower of Trial ne; only the original body in their home ne would suffer a severe spirit shock, whose pain was avoided thanks to the tower spirit¡¯s healing abilities.
¡°Do you want to try your hand, General Atrang?¡± the Gun Knight asked, making a gesture of invitation.
Marshal Atrang watched as the stretcher carried away the elite soldier, who was still screaming something like ¡°Despicable Spirit! We agreed not to use high-level skills! Ah¡ I¡¯m still bleeding out.¡±
Not only the Gun Knight, but the elites of the Flowing Water Country had crossed swords with the Spirits nearly a thousand times already, and many of them had even be quite familiar with the Spirits.
Now it was the turn of the Dark me Country to challenge these Spirits.
¡°Let¡¯s focus on dealing with the impending doomsday crisis instead. I can sense that the enemy we are about to face is extremely dangerous,¡± General Atrang wasn¡¯t about to perform such¡ a morale-damaging act.
Chapter 69 - 68: The Rapid Strategy Group (Please Recommend!!!)
Chapter 69: Chapter 68: The Rapid Strategy Group (Please Rmend!!!)
¡°Holy, remember to give the whole team shields! Don¡¯t stop using the Qi Gong Wind Breath!¡±
Mo Shigui led nearly fifty-three members of the frontline strategy team from the Dancing Nuclear Guild in a swift assault across the battlefield.
This kind of instance battlefield was something they had fought in disputes many times, and they had faced off against other yers.
These fifty-three yers led by Mo Shigui were core members of the Dancing Nuclear Guild, and all their actions were directed by Mo Shigui¡¯s voicemands.
¡°Don¡¯t get entangled with the minor monsters on the battlefield! It¡¯s pointless!¡± Mo Shigui used his shield to knock away a zombie that charged at him.
But in that instant, a peal of thunder erupted in front of him; Mo Shigui raised his shield to block the thunderous strike, but the impact from the thunder still sent him flying three meters away.
Mo Shigui¡¯s health dropped by one-tenth in an instant.
¡°You are the finest of the invaders.¡±
The Lion Heart Knight, holding a long spear, appeared in front of the entire strategy team of the Dancing Nuclear Guild.
Not many spirits on the battlefield could break through the army of zombies¡¯ defensive line, and the Dancing Nuclear Guild was definitely one of the fastest groups. If they kept advancing, they could pose a threat to the city walls.
¡°Damn it, damn it! Guild Leader! Isn¡¯t this the penultimate boss of the instance? Why is iting for us right as we enter the instance?¡±
Upon seeing a figure in golden armor, splendid and majestic, in short looking like a golden limited edition version of Lu Bu,
As a Gun Master, Ionzee knew he was definitely not a Zhang Fei, Liu Bei, or a Guan Yu; moreover, this ¡®Lu Bu¡¯ wasn¡¯t something that could be dealt with by just the three heroes.
It would probably take at least a hundred elite fighters to have a chance to take him down.
The intelligence feedback from Ionzee¡¯s reconnaissance technique made him instantly waver.
¡®Queen¡¯s Guard ¡¤ Lion Heart Sigel, Level: 68, Elite Lord, HP 7534350/7534350¡¡¯
A whole seven million health points! You have to understand that in the game Saint Spirit, the damage numbers haven¡¯t inted to the point where yers could deal millions and millions in damage. Normally, yers dealing damage over two thousand would be considered using a special move.
The elites of the Dancing Nuclear Guild might be hitting slightly higher.
But when they ventured into hero-level instances and fought the ck Dragon Princess, her total HP was only about one million three hundred thousand.
And the ck Dragon Princess of the hero level once wiped out the elite strategy team of the Dancing Nuclear Guild during their first attempt at the instance.
¡°Didn¡¯t you read the official description? This world instance is dynamic,¡± Mo Shigui said.
¡°A dynamic instance doesn¡¯t mean the final boss should be put at the beginning, right?¡± Ionzee saw the Lion Heart Knight brandishing his spear, summoning thunder; it looked like he was nning to unleash a screen-clearing power move right from the start.
¡°Isn¡¯t it just seven ck Dragon Princesses? Guild Leader! Let¡¯s do it!¡± Tonight Your Mom Will Surely Die seemed to be fearless.
If Mo Shigui hadn¡¯t held that boss distribution meeting, they might have gone straight for this Lion Heart Knight, but now their target was the Wolf Knight situated in the city¡¯s dungeon.
¡°Hey, Bubble! Your boss is over here!¡± Mo Shigui switched channels and started calling the leader of the C Fanatic Guild.
¡°Coming,ing! From the 7 o¡¯clock direction!¡±
While Mo Shigui wasmunicating with other guilds, the Lion Heart Knight¡¯s spear, carrying thunderous force, swung down towards Mo Shigui, who promptly raised his shield and took up a defensive stance. Buffed by various boosts, he took the hit.
But the cost of taking the hit was a drop of fifty percent of his HP.
¡°Guild Leader, Xue Luo got one-shotted!¡±
@@novelbin@@
¡°Peach Blossom Gentleman also got one-shotted.¡±
The moment Mo Shigui blocked the hit, cries rang out from the guild channel.
Mo Shigui nced at the bottom right corner of his game UI, where in the crowded guild team groups, four had already disconnected and turned gray.
The thunderous strike from the Lion Heart Knight was a wide-range AOE skill, and the thunder that exploded from Mo Shigui¡¯s shield instantly wiped out several of the nearby squishy sses.
¡°I¡¯ve brought Xue Luo back to life, Boss, do we continue the fight?¡±
In less than a second, the three Priestesses at the head of the team released the Resurrection Technique, reviving the three fallen members.
The Resurrection Technique is a skill most Priest ss jobs have, regardless of which advanced ss was chosen, they could master one or two such techniques. However, from a game perspective, it¡¯s quite ackluster ability.
That¡¯s because the cooldown time for the Resurrection Technique is usually long. If used duringbat, the cooldown typically ranges from five to ten minutes, and it doesn¡¯t eliminate death penalties¡ªin fact, it might increase them. If equipment durability is supposed to drop, it will, and if the Corpse Curse is supposed to take effect, it still will.
The most a Resurrection Technique does is save one the time it takes to run back after dying.
Yet, this was extremely important for a top-tier raid team.
¡°Old Song, I¡¯ming¡¡± Mo Shigui heard the voice of the C Fanatic Guild¡¯s leader. At that moment, the Lion Heart Knight seemed to sense something too, and he abruptly looked up to see a Mage suddenly raising an arm skyward.
A massive wall of thunder, formed as he waved his arm, materialized in an instant, and as he swept his arm the second time, this wall of thunder hurtled toward the Lion Heart Knight at lightning speed.
Thunder Light Barrier.
A skill of the Elemental Master¡¯s advanced ss, the Elemental Bomber.
The leader of the C Fanatic Guild, Qi Pao, was an Elemental Bomber. The difference between this job and the regr Elemental Master lies in the Elemental Master¡¯s path of mastering and manipting elements, while the Elemental Bomber¡¯s approach is much more blunt, treating elements like one-time-use weapons¡ like bombs to be released¡
The price for the high damage of this job is immense Magic Power consumption. If one isn¡¯t careful about MP recovery, just one or two high-level skills could deplete the yer¡¯s MP.
-57.
The Thunder Light Barrier shed across the Lion Heart Knight, whose strong resistance to thunder meant his health barely decreased.
¡°An interesting way to use Magic, but this is as far as it goes,¡±mented the Lion Heart Knight, admiring the Mage¡¯s use of thunder elements. Just as the Lion Heart Knight was about to unleash his own thundering counterattack,
Qi Pao didn¡¯t stop casting his spells. Dark ck magic elements appeared again in his hands. The pitch-ck Magic Power elements seemed to immobilize the Lion Heart Knight on the spot, but with a swing of his spear, the Lion Heart Knight shattered all the elements.
¡°Another BOSS that¡¯s immune to immobilization checks?¡± Qi Pao didn¡¯t have much time to curse. Mo Shigui seized the opportunity to lead the members of his Dancing Nuclear Guild past the Lion Heart Knight, running towards the castle wall.
The Lion Heart Knight turned to intercept the members of the Dancing Nuclear Guild.
¡°Old Song! The BOSS¡¯s aggro is on you.¡± Qi Pao hurriedly reminded Mo Shigui over voice chat.
¡°Haven¡¯t you read the instance description? The BOSS doesn¡¯t have aggro. Their targets change based on the battle situation. If you want that Lion Heart Ring, it¡¯s best to stop him.¡±
¡°Such a pain! Warrior squadron, stop that BOSS; use any taunting skills you have, quick!¡±
As Qi Pao gave orders through voice chat, he gathered a highly condensed orb of Magic Power in his hands while an item called a Magic Stone in his inventory was rapidly being used up.
¡°Boss! It¡¯s not responding to taunts!¡± A Shield Warrior named Can shouted after striking his shield to use a taunting skill, only to find the Lion Heart Knightpletely ignored him.
¡°Let me think¡ Hey, big kitty!¡± In a moment of quick thinking, Qi Pao suddenly remembered the official website¡¯s description of the Lion Heart Knight and shouted at him, ¡°Your Queen Mei is amazing!¡±
The Lion Heart Knight stopped in his tracks and turned his head to look at Qi Pao. At that moment, Qi Pao inexplicably felt a palpitation¡
What the heck? The leader of the C Fanatic Guild scared by a BOSS¡¯s re?
But this verbal taunt worked much better than the Shield Warrior¡¯s taunting skill!
¡°Who¡¯s the best at trash-talking in our guild?¡± Qi Pao urgently called out on the voice channel.
¡°It¡¯s Caffeine, right? Isn¡¯t he our guild¡¯s trash-talk king?¡±
¡°Quick, get Caffeine over here to shout at that BOSS! Stabilize the aggro first!¡± As Qi Pao shouted, a lightning spear had already pierced through his chest, and before he could even release his skill, he turned into a tombstone, dead.
¡°What¡ were you saying about Queen Mei just now?¡± The Lion Heart Knight was already enveloped in a mass of thunder.
¡°Oh my God! The leader¡¯s trash-talk advanced the BOSS to the second phase!¡±
¡°Can you guys stop joking around? Where are the Priests? The BOSS one-shot the leader!¡±
Chapter 71 - 70: Wolf Knight
Chapter 71: Chapter 70: Wolf Knight
The efficiency of the Dancing Nuclear Guild really was astonishing.
Under Mo Shigui¡¯smand, the entire strategy team circumvented the streetside zombies that had entered a frenzied state, attracting only a few minor mobs¡¯ aggro, and sessfully entered the dungeons of the royal district.
Four out of the five Knights under Queen Mei¡¯smand were fighting on the frontlines, and they had not anticipated that these Holy Spirits would so fearlessly disregard the basicws of the battlefield, risking their lives to demolish the city walls.
From Mo Shigui¡¯s voicemunications with the other guild leaders, it appeared that the Wasp Knight, the axe-wielding man, and the Lion Heart Knight, these three elite BOSSes, had already been restrained ¨C their remaining task was to take down the Wolf Knight lurking deep within the dungeon.
¡°Why do I get the feeling this ce is haunted?¡±
As one of the external supports, Lin Xi took the lead and controlled his character, Dreaming in Daylight, to walk into the dungeon.
The entirety of the dungeon environment was exceptionally damp and gloomy, and the simted scent of rust Lin Xi could smell seemed like the scent of blood in reality.
¡°Are you scared of ghosts, big shot?¡± Ion Spark asked as he followed by Lin Xi¡¯s side, knowing Lin Xi¡¯s real identity in the actual world. As a fellow gun and artillery yer, he was somewhat of a fan of Lin Xi.
¡°Scared of what! We¡¯ve even ughtered dragons in this game, why would we be afraid of ghosts?¡± Lin Xi kept bbering mouthily, but the next moment, the depths of the dungeon unexpectedly emitted a sharp scream.
The scream was a cross between a wolf howl and a ghoulish roar that, bined with the sinister dungeon environment, was enough to make the faint-hearted yers drop their weapons.
¡°Fuck!¡±
Lin Xi made a decisive reaction on the spot, clinging tightly to Zhao Mingwei who was nearby.
¡°You can turn up the brightness of the screen a bit,¡± said Zhao Mingwei, pushing Lin Xi¡¯s face away with his hand. Zhao Mingwei knew that this king of trash talk always imed to be fearless during horror game streams, only to end up scrambling and screaming when chased by ghosts.
¡°My screen¡¯s brightness is already at max,¡± said Lin Xi while looking around incessantly, ¡°This map is kind of eerie, I always feel like there¡¯s something watching me from behind, but there¡¯s not even a mob nearby?¡±
¡°Where would there be mobs in a BOSS room? Mo Shigui is about to initiate the fight.¡±
At that moment, Jiang Qiao had already lifted his Magic Wand, with a Fire Spirit and a Water Spirit appearing beside him. However, the next second the Water Spirit, out of fear, hid behind Jiang Qiao, while the Fire Spirit showed some bravery, sitting directly atop Jiang Qiao¡¯s head.
In the far-off darkness, a pair of crimson eyes suddenly lit up, and at this moment, the elite strategy team of the Dancing Nuclear Guild, with their excellentbat training, had already swiftly scattered under the instruction of Mo Shigui.
Jiang Qiao threw a Scouting Technique into the depths of the dungeon shrouded in darkness.
¡®Name: Knight Ulysses the Wolf, Level: 69, upation: Warrior Series, Description: One of the strongest among the five knights under Queen Mei, the Wolf Knight is the only one of the knights who has lost his sanity and be fully zombified. However, ording to my scouting, the loss of his sanity is not due to zombification but must be for some other reason. Hai Lan¡¯s memories on this part are iplete, so I can¡¯t investigate more clues. However, the Star Map does indicate some evil forces, and the three forces I can retrieve from Hai Lan¡¯s memories are Abyss, Chaos, and Oblivion. Beware of the invasions of these forces; you are not the only one looking for the Divine Fragments of Hai Lan.¡¯
Jiang Qiao was d that only he could see this exnation ¨C other yers who scouted would only see this Wolf Knight¡¯s health points.
In front of Jiang Qiao¡¯s interface, the health points of the Wolf Knight read 6266350/6266350.
Six million hit points were slightly lower than those of the Lion Heart Knight.
Lower health points did not mean he was weaker than the Lion Heart Knight inbat strength. Another scream sounded, and the pair of crimson eyes suddenly leaped into the sky.
Jiang Qiao finally saw the opponent¡¯s appearance at this moment, this Wolf Knight was over two meters tall just like the Lion Heart Knights, and when he leapt into the air, his great sword swung fiercely towards Mo Shigui at the very front of the team.
When the Wolf Knight¡¯s great sword violently smashed against Mo Shigui¡¯s shield, sparks scattered from the de and the surface of the shield blossomed in the darkness, and the ground under Mo Shigui¡¯s feet instantly cracked apart.
This strike made Mo Shigui feel a heavy power in his hands, but this force was not enough to cause any twists or injuries to Mo Shigui¡¯s arms.
ording to Jiang Qiao¡¯s settings, Spiritual Bodies are beings that exist between physical entities and spiritual entities, if you really want to put it, Spiritual Bodies don¡¯t have muscles and joints, their bodyposition is a kind of energy entity.
So yers could feel the force of various monsters¡¯ attacks, but no matter how strong this force was, it would only feel like a gentle tap with a small hammer.
The Wolf Knight, pared to other BOSSes, was far more ferocious, crazily hitting Mo Shigui¡¯s shield with its ¡®little hammer¡¯.
The actions of the Wolf Knight swinging his sword could no longer be described as human-like, much more resembling a creature with limbs sprawled on the ground.
While the Wolf Knight treated Mo Shigui like a nail to hammer, the other members of the raid group had gone all out with their attacks, throwing every skill they had at the Wolf Knight.
These attacks made the Wolf Knight even more enraged, and finally, it did something a Spiritual Instance BOSS would never do¡ It grabbed Mo Shigui¡¯s shield.
¡°Damn, a disarming skill!?¡±
¡°Guild Master!¡±
Mo Shigui had not anticipated this situation; having yed VR games for so long, this was his first encounter with a BOSS¡ that fought over a weapon with him.
Thisck of experience caused Mo Shigui to make a severe mistake; he was directly lifted by the Wolf Knight, then mmed viciously to the ground on the other side.
@@novelbin@@
-1390.
Mo Shiguiy on the ground in confusion, staring at the ceiling above, while his other hand, still holding the shield, was still grasped by the Wolf Knight.
¡°It¡¯s not disarming! It¡¯s a throw technique!¡± As the vicemander of the raid group, Rain Song immediately provided an exnation in the voice channel, ¡°Aggro is on the Guild Master, everyone else, keep up the DPS!¡±
Rain Song¡¯smand was very concise; the Wolf Knight¡¯s body erupted again with mes, frost, and a barrage of various curses intertwined skills, but the Wolf Knight seemed fixated on Mo Shigui, tightly gripping his shield and not willing to let go.
Jiang Qiao had considered the possibility of bosses in the real world grabbing yers¡¯ weapons, so the equipment of Spiritual Bodies is actually part of their bodies. That is to say, if the weapons of the Spiritual Bodies were taken away, they would disappear and then reappear in their hands.
Since shields are equipped more ¡®solidly,¡¯ unless the Wolf Knight chopped off Mo Shigui¡¯s hand, there was no way it could take the shield from Mo Shigui¡¯s hands.
The Wolf Knight once again grabbed Mo Shigui¡¯s hand and mmed it viciously onto another side of the leyline, then lifted his great sword to pierce through Mo Shiguiying on the ground.
The second after Mo Shigui turned into a tombstone, he was resurrected by the Fluffy Rabbit using Resurrection Technique.
This time he finally escaped from the clutches of the Wolf Knight.
¡°You won¡¯t catch me with that throw technique a second time!¡± Mo Shigui tapped his shield with his de, and after casting a skill that hardened his entire body, the Wolf Knight once again lifted his great sword and chopped towards him.
Chapter 73 - 72 Something Big is Going to Happen
Chapter 73: Chapter 72 Something Big is Going to Happen
¡°Wiped out? No worries, let¡¯s rest for a bit and then continue, the boss¡¯s recovery speed isn¡¯t that fast.¡±
Mo Shigui, in his spiritual form, was teleported back to the Tower of Trial, where he had to rerun it to reach the dungeon of Lionheart City to resurrect.
However, Mo Shigui knew it was pointless, as all the healers from the Dancing Nuclear Guild had been ughtered by the intruding yellow wasp knights, and the next moment they targeted the group of Shield Warriors in front.
Both tank and healer gone, this situation could only end in a wipe.
Getting wiped in an instance was quite normal, so the morale of the strategy team members wasn¡¯t too affected, but Mo Shigui, in his spiritual state, pondered for a long time.
If he wanted to resurrect now, he could only do so at the Resurrection Cathedral in Lionheart City.
The problem was¡ Mo Shigui looked at an item in his backpack that had turned gray.
¡®Broken Fureya Charm
Mission Item
Description: This is a charm symbolizing the depletion of life force, with a small inscription in the cracks of the shattered charm, ¡°Kind Holy Spirit, are you safe?¡±¡®
Looking at the description of this item, the first emotion that surged in Mo Shigui¡¯s heart was fear.
So much so that he dared not click the option ¡°Resurrect at the Resurrection Cathedral.¡±
Be rational! Be rational!
Mo Shigui kept trying to control his emotions.
It¡¯s just an NPC.
@@novelbin@@
Rationally speaking, it¡¯s merely a piece of data turning from ON to OFF.
ON to OFF¡ ON to OFF¡ life to death¡
The more Mo Shigui thought about it, the less he could control his emotions, feeling as if he had just learned that a loved one had entered the ICU.
He could only stand outside, silently awaiting the arrival of bad news, yet could do nothing about his anxiety.
¡®Your time limit as a Spiritual Body has arrived, you will be automatically resurrected at the Resurrection Cathedral.¡¯
A system notification suddenly popped up in Mo Shigui¡¯s message bar, and it took him a moment to remember that yers within the Holy Spirit could maintain their spiritual form for a maximum of five minutes.
If the time passed without running back for a corpse resurrection, the yer would automatically resurrect at the Resurrection Cathedral.
Damn!
Mo Shigui only felt a sensation of free falling, and when he opened his eyes again, he was looking at the ceiling of the Resurrection Cathedral.
And he was lying on the holy altar in the center of the cathedral.
Normally, Fureya would say a few lines at this moment, although they were all words filled with concern like ¡°Ah, you¡¯re back.¡± or ¡°Holy Spirit, please be more careful next time,¡± the underlying message was ¡°hurry up and get off the resurrection altar to go grind monsters.¡±
This time, Mo Shigui seemed not to hear Fureya¡¯s greeting, which made him afraid to stand up on the resurrection altar.
¡°You¡¯re back.¡±
But then, the next second, that familiar voice, gentle and slow, resonated beside Mo Shigui¡¯s ear; he suddenly stood up from the resurrection altar and looked to the side.
Guardian Spirit¡¤Fureya was standing beside him, unharmed.
¡°Really overthought it.¡±
In that moment, Mo Shiguiughed at himself somewhat mockingly, knowing the designers would never let such an important NPC perish.
¡°Kind Spirit, may I hold your hand?¡± Fureya suddenly made this request, and Mo Shigui caught a hint of pleading in her voice.
¡°What¡¯s the hidden quest this time?¡± Mo Shigui had heard this line from Fureya after being resurrected, but looking into Fureya¡¯s eyes, it was really hard to treat it as a pre-set phrase or a character designed by the system.
He hesitated for a while but finally took off his left arm¡¯s armor and extended his hand toward Fureya.
Fureya also reached out her hands and gently ced them on Mo Shigui¡¯s left hand. At that moment, Mo Shigui felt a warmth, a soft touch, and a human-like body temperature. He could even feel the doll¡¯s heartbeat.
¡°This is thest thing I can do,¡± Fureya said softly, her hands beginning to glow faintly.
At hearing this line, Mo Shigui immediately sensed something was amiss. By the time he realized it, it was already toote¡ªa notification popped up in his message bar.
¡®Your Corpse Curse has been purified by Guardian Spirit¡¤Fureya.¡¯
¡°Farewell, Kind Spirit. I am d to have met you,¡± Fureya¡¯s next words made Mo Shigui abruptly reach out and grasp her arm tightly.
But it was toote. Fureya weakly kneeled on the ground, and Mo Shigui, just before she fell, released her arm and instead supported her shoulders.
Such a level of contact was previously not allowed, but at that moment, Mo Shigui held Fureya, who had copsed to the ground, in his arms.
¡°You can understand me, right? Not just some system-set line¡ªyou have your own thoughts! You know what I am saying!¡± Mo Shigui, feeling her gradually weakening breaths, shouted uncontrobly, ¡°Answer me!¡±
Fureya¡¯s eyes blinked a few times, her cherry-red lips quivered several times as if trying to speak, but she no longer had the strength to talk.
¡°I am listening this time,¡± Mo Shigui brought his ear close to Fureya¡¯s lips, and heard a voice simr to before, tinged with fear and longing.
¡°Will you¡ remember me?¡±
After uttering these words in a barely audible voice, Fureya¡¯s pupils lost their sparkle, and her mouth gradually changed from glossy cherry lips to the lips of a doll.
Her skin took on a paint-like texture, and her arms, which returned to being doll joints, slid down. Mo Shigui¡¯s arms trembled as he felt Fureya in his arms losing her warmth and turning into a rigid block of wood, and his entire hand shook uncontrobly.
Is this what you call an NPC?
Is this REALLY an NPC?
Mo Shigui hugged Fureya who had turned into a doll-state, his teeth clenched without tears, only a rage burning from within.
At that moment, he really couldn¡¯t tell whether the words spoken by the NPC within the spirit were system preset or came from her own thoughts.
But one thing Mo Shigui was certain of, he had to resurrect Fureya.
There was only one way to resurrect her¡ to hunt down the Wasp Knight!
Because the one who killed him the third time was not the Wolf Knight, but the Wasp Knight.
Fureya¡¯s spirit had been taken by the Wasp Knight.
Mo Shigui ced theatose Fureya on the resurrection tform, then quickly dashed out of the Resurrection Cathedral¡¯s doors; outside, a Velvet Rabbit and part of the elite strategy team members of the Dancing Nuclear Guild had been waiting for Mo Shigui for a long time.
¡°Guild leader, shall we continue to go back and fight the Wolf Knight?¡±
¡°Where is the Wasp Knight?¡± Mo Shigui asked his guild members responsible for intelligence.
¡°Wasp Knight¡ Guild leader, that¡¯s the boss managed by the Abyss Temple. That boss invading our instance battlefield and causing us to wipe was really embarrassing, but if we now preemptively target the Wasp Knight from the Abyss Temple, wouldn¡¯t that tarnish our guild¡¯s reputation?¡±
¡°You just need to tell me where she is!¡± Mo Shigui said.

Chapter 77 - 76: A Letter Filled with Love
Chapter 77: Chapter 76: A Letter Filled with Love
Jiang Qiao returned from the ne of the Godlike battle, and theatose Wasp Knight he had captured was still in a deepa, possibly needing one to two days to awaken.
However, Jiang Qiao didn¡¯t bother with the Wasp Knight, who had been farmed by thousands of yers in turns, and simply threw her into the ¡®cage space¡¯ created by Hai Lan before heading straight to the Reviver¡¯s Cathedral.
It was now the twelfth hour since the opening of the Godlike battle, and Jiang Qiao had arranged a main plot and a hidden plot for this battle.
The hidden plot was that after the Doll Sister died three times in the Godlike battle, if a yer went back and sessfully revived the Doll Sister, it would trigger the hidden plot.
Jiang Qiao¡¯s Reviver¡¯s Cathedral was slightly different from the yers¡¯ as it had an additional desk, next to which there was a mailbox.
And Jiang Qiao¡¯s Fureya, which is to say the legendary Fureya Mark I, was sitting in front of a bookshelf, writing something with a pen.
¡°What is she writing?¡±
Hai Lan followed Jiang Qiao to the Reviver¡¯s Cathedral, and she leaned in to see Jiang Qiao¡¯s Fureya writing something on a piece of letter paper with a pencil¡ in Chinese.
¡°Love letters.¡±
Jiang Qiao approached his Fureya, and the Fureya Mark I continued writing letter after letter at the desk without lifting her head.
After finishing a letter, a little fairy would pop out, fold the letter paper properly and put it into the mailbox.
¡°What love letters? To whom?¡± Hai Lan watched for a while and noticed there was another piece of letter paper on Fureya¡¯s desk as a temte, which was also in Chinese with very beautiful handwriting, which must have been Jiang Qiao¡¯s doing.
¡°To the yers, as letters to advance the plot. Of course, my Fureya couldn¡¯t possibly write one for each yer, so I intend to write about fifty or sixty temtes and then copy them to distribute randomly to all yers,¡± Jiang Qiao said.
¡°Hmm, but your Fureya is still not very proficient in writing Chinese. Why don¡¯t you just write the temtes directly?¡±
Hai Lan stood behind Fureya for a while, observing that the Doll Sister¡¯s Chinese writing was quite crooked and truly¡ very ugly, even worse than the few dish names written by Hai Lan. Inparison, Jiang Qiao¡¯s handwriting was very beautiful.
¡°That would be immediately recognized by yers as written by a behind-the-scenes programmer, wouldn¡¯t it? Love letters, you see, need to feel authentic,¡± Jiang Qiao said.
¡°What¡¯s the purpose of these love letters?¡± Hai Lan asked again.
¡°yers will only receive this love letter after reviving Fureya, it serves to push forward the narrative,¡± Jiang Qiao said.
¡°Is it to thank the yers?¡± Hai Lan always felt that the game plot written by Jiang Qiao couldn¡¯t possibly be so simple¡
¡°There¡¯s a part that thanks them, but essentially this letter is to urge yers to hurry up and level up by fighting monsters.¡±
Jiang Qiao handed over the temte of the letter he had written to Hai Lan, who had long since learned Chinese, otherwise, she wouldn¡¯t have been able to understand so many dish names¡
¡°Jiang Qiao, doing this will really send the yers into the instance,¡± Hai Lan concluded after roughly reading the content of the letter.
¡¡
¡®The soul of Guardian Spirit¡¤Fureya has been restored.¡¯
Mo Shigui, after killing the Wasp Knight, did not even wait to check the reward settlement and immediately cast a Town Recall.
The destination of the Town Recall was the center of Lionheart City. Mo Shigui sprinted along the streets of Lionheart City toward the Reviver¡¯s Cathedral and pushed open the doors to enter.
The moment Mo Shigui stepped into the Reviver¡¯s Cathedral, he saw Fureya standing by the staircase.
It was amon position for Fureya, who only sat on the steps waiting for yers to return under very few circumstances.
Resurrected!
When Mo Shigui saw Fureya again, he felt a kind of emotion simr to reuniting with a long-lost dear friend, but this feelingsted for less than a second.
Fureya then saw Mo Shigui standing at the door, and the first sentence she said left Mo Shigui stupefied.
¡°Nice to meet you, kind Holy Spirit¡ I am Fureya, your Guardian Spirit,¡± she said.
¡°¡¡±
Mo Shigui heard this line and felt bewildered; he remembered having heard it before. Every yer would hear Fureya introduce herself like this when they first created their ount.
But the problem was Mo Shigui had been ying as the Holy Spirit for almost half a month now. Although he hadn¡¯t interacted with Fureya more than twenty times, Mo Shigui had definitely met her before.
What did she mean by meeting for the first time?
Mo Shigui thought of a terrifying possibility¡ªcould his Fureya¡ possibly¡ have amnesia?
¡°Do you not remember me?¡± To verify this possibility, Mo Shigui stepped forward only to notice Fureya tilt her head slightly.
¡°What are you talking about, Holy Spirit?¡± Fureya asked.
Mo Shigui also knew this line¡ªit was what Fureya would say in response when a yer said something outside her preset script.
¡°¡¡±
This time, Mo Shigui truly froze in ce, taking several deep breaths to try to calm himself down.
He was again suppressing his anger. Now he felt the urge to look up the Holy Spiritpany¡¯s address on the official website and send a bunch of razor des to the Holy Spirit production team.
Who wrote this heart-wrenching plotline? Mo Shigui had been gaming for so many years, and it was the first time he wanted to physically fight the game¡¯s production team.
Not long after the idea of a real-life fight popped up, Mo Shigui suddenly received a new system notification.
¡®Congrattions onpleting the quest: Fureya¡¯s Intentions.¡¯
Completed the quest? Mo Shigui remembered this quest¡ it was one of three rted quests that followed the main quest ¡®Preparations for the War of Divine Plunder¡¯ at level fifty, the other two being ¡®The War of Divine Plunder¡¯ and ¡®The Real Shield Wall!¡¯
The main quest ¡®The War of Divine Plunder¡¯ was rted to the instance ¡®The Battle against the Divine,¡¯ and toplete it, the yer had to reach ny percent progress in that instance, which would also reward an item called ¡®Queen Mei¡¯s Divinity,¡¯ exchangeable for many things.
¡®The Real Shield Wall!¡¯ was a Shield Warrior¡¯s awakening quest that required killing fifty undead soldiers and blocking ten thousand points of damage with a shield for the first phase.
And then there was the third main quest, ¡®Fureya¡¯s Intentions,¡¯ with thepletion condition being: ?, and the reward was unlocking the second stage of Fureya¡¯s affection meter.
At that time, Mo Shigui didn¡¯t care much about the NPC Fureya, so he hadn¡¯t paid much attention to the third quest.
@@novelbin@@
But now that Fureya had amnesia, he hadpleted her affection meter quest?
How ironic¡ No, wait!
Mo Shigui hadn¡¯t received a notification for unlocking the second stage of Fureya¡¯s affection meter, but instead, he received a letter.
A paper letter appeared in Mo Shigui¡¯s hands.
Chapter 80 - 79 The answer is only one
Chapter 80: Chapter 79 The answer is only one
Jiang Qiao¡¯s worst fear had materialized: the enemy was trying to win over yers!
To be reasonable¡ In terms of beauty, the puppet sister and Queen Mei each had their own charm. The puppet sister was a creation carefully crafted by Jiang Qiao, so when yers looked at her, they felt an unreal sense of beauty.
@@novelbin@@
Queen Mei also possessed an unreal beauty, mainly because the Holy Light effects on her were just too strong. Queen Mei had one advantage¡ she had a bit of a loli attribute.
But if one were to trulypare their allure, it would be difficult to dere a clear winner.
¡°Jiang¡ Jiang Qiao!¡±
Hai Lan, who had been keeping an eye on the Ho Knight, waspletely caught off guard by the axe-wielding man¡¯s shout. When she appeared in the midst of the battlefield, Jiang Qiao even noticed she was holding a chicken drumstick that had been bitten off.
...
¡°Hurry up and mute that guy!¡± Hai Lan said, almost wanting to roll up her sleeves and silence the axe-wielding man herself.
It wasn¡¯t really about silencing, but rather making it so that the yers fighting the axe-wielding man couldn¡¯t hear what he was saying.
¡°There¡¯s no need,¡± Jiang Qiao grasped Hai Lan¡¯s arm. The fact that the axe-wielding man was suddenly recruiting yers was something Jiang Qiao had anticipated. Actually, it wouldn¡¯t be surprising if the Lion Heart Knight and the Red Knight did something simr.
In the chaos of the battlefield, anyone with a bit ofbat experience could see¡ the fighting style of the sprites was utterly undisciplined.
So, as long as the Five Knights spent enough time with the sprites, they would realize that this group of sprites was not under Hai Lan¡¯smand but were like independent warriors or mercenaries.
The problem was that the sprites¡¯ faith in Hai Lan was not very firm, and any sensible person would choose to win over the sprites.
¡°We can¡¯t avoid this situation, so we might as well y a little trick and use others to achieve our aims,¡± Jiang Qiao took out the Book of System and started editing a brand new quest chain.
¡°Use Queen Mei¡¯s knife¡ to kill their people?¡± Hai Lan still didn¡¯t understand Jiang Qiao¡¯s reasoning. ¡°What exactly should we do? The yers are all nning to join Queen Mei¡¯s faction.¡±
¡°Who says joining the enemy¡¯s faction means you can¡¯t kill the enemy¡¯s people? yers are a fundamentally chaotic and evil existence. There¡¯s no conflict betweenpleting the tasks you assign me and killing your people, okay?¡±
Jiang Qiao continued to create a brand new quest chain.
If there¡¯s a group of people in the world who truly have no allegiance or position, it¡¯s probably the yers.
A yer could one day max out their reputation with the demons, collect a bunch of NPC rewards, and then the next day head to the angel faction to take on new missions and ughter the demons¡¯ ranks.
I don¡¯t just want to do your tasks and collect your rewards; I also want to kill your people.
Jiang Qiao believed that over eighty percent of the yers in the world would do such things, with the exception of those NPCs who had formed emotional connections with the yers, like the puppet sister.
Now, for the sprite yers, whoever dared to touch the puppet sister would face their wrath.
Queen Mei¡¯s poprity wasn¡¯t to that extent, but that didn¡¯t stop yers from epting a hidden quest rted to Queen Mei and then continuing to group up to challenge Queen Mei.
¡°It¡¯s finished,¡± Jiang Qiaopleted a hidden quest issued by the axe-wielding man in less than two minutes.
Jiang Qiao inserted this quest into the yers¡¯ quest chains. As long as a yer talked with the axe-wielding man and mentioned a keyword like ¡®wanting to pledge loyalty to Queen Mei, the hint for this hidden quest would be triggered.
¡°Let¡¯s see how the yers react,¡± Jiang Qiao continued to watch the live broadcasts by Chen Meng.
Now, there are two types of VR game live broadcasts. One uses the mobile camera thates with the Tian Gong toolkit, which helps the streamer shoot in third-person perspective; the third-person perspective includes disys like the health status bar.
Streamers can manually switch back to first-person perspective. Generally, when wandering the main city and epting quests, streamers use first-person perspective to give their viewers a better sense of immersion.
Hai Lan was also using first-person perspective, and in the livestream¡¯s frame, she was staring at the axe-wielding man holding an axe in his hand.
The dessicated face of the axe-wielding man, who had be a corpse, seemed to have a stern expression that said, ¡°Swear loyalty, or say goodbye to your health bar.¡±
Fortunately, the passersby yers around were still attacking the axe-wielding man with various skills. Annoyed by the beating, the axe-wielding man spared Hai Lan and her group for a moment and turned his axe with a leaping chop towards a battle mage poking at him with a spear.
The battle mage, wearing a snowman head, was instantly killed by the axe-wielding man¡¯s leaping chop. Afterpleting the chop, a deep green light emitted from the axe again, and with another swing of his axe, the axe-wielding man released a moonlight-like energy wave that swept towards several riflemen yers in the distance.
¡°What is your decision?¡± The axe-wielding man returned to the front of Hai Lan¡¯s group.
Hai Lan didn¡¯t leave him¡ because she was busy reading a quest description that had just popped up.
¡°A hidden mission can be triggered just like that? I¡¯m telling you, this game really isn¡¯t just ordinarily interesting.¡±
Hai Lan had been a streamer for quite some time, and this was the first time she encountered a quest triggered by conversing with a boss inside an instance, and moreover, it was a quest to join the boss¡¯s faction.
¡®Hidden Mission: For Queen Mei, Mission Description: You have encountered an axe-wielding warrior corpse, Lama, who still possesses his own sanity. He invites you to join Queen Mei¡¯s faction, to fight for the queen and hunt down the source of the Corpse Curse.¡¯
Hai Lan didn¡¯t find anything odd with the storyline of the quest; in games, stories and quests are generally derived from mission descriptions and various records in books, and yers had long been ustomed to this.
That is, the storyline exined in a quest was definitely true, without a sliver of doubt.
The reward for this hidden mission was thirty Corpse Medals, which was quite amon reward obtainable by killing some zombie soldiers on the Divine Battlefield.
¡°What do you guys think?¡± Hai Lan was nning to ept this hidden mission, but as a streamer, she had the instinct to interact with her viewers before epting it.
¡®If the streamer doesn¡¯t ept, unfollow.¡¯
¡®Definitely take both the puppet girl and Queen Mei!¡¯
¡®Take both +1.¡¯
Hai Lan shared the same sentiment; although she was a female yer, the character of the puppet girl was really capable of warping the sexual orientations of most female yers, and Queen Mei took it a step further, making Hai Lan feel like wanting to be the BOSS¡¯s mother.
Here, ¡®mother¡¯ holds no special meaning; if the puppet girl was considered a wife, then Queen Mei could be taken and raised as a daughter.
So faced with this hidden mission, Hai Lan naturally pressed the button to agree.
¡°I am willing to swear loyalty to Queen Mei,¡± Hai Lan said to the axe-wielding man verbally after she epted the hidden mission.
¡°You actually agreed? Though your blood is tainted, in such a battle, having a friend is always better than having an enemy.¡± The axe-wielding man suppressed his urge to hunt the evil spirits and said to Hai Lan, ¡°Prove your loyalty by killing those who invade the royal city!¡±
The invaders the axe-wielding man spoke of were the other yers, but Jiang Qiao would never issue a mission that encourages yers to ughter each other at such a critical juncture.
So Jiang Qiao threw out a scapegoat tactic.
After Hai Lan epted this hidden mission, the objective became ¡®Go to the Mage Tower to investigate the truth behind the betrayal of the red Knight.¡¯
Chapter 82 - 81: The Instance Lord鈥檚 Dormitory
Chapter 82: Chapter 81: The Instance Lord¡¯s Dormitory
A photo collection is just a photo collection, after all¡
Jiang Qiao floated above the battlefield, looking at the various posts popping up on the forum.
In the Holy Spirit section, someone had uploaded the trigger conditions for a hidden quest rted to the axe-wielding man, which was simply to swear allegiance to Queen Mei, and one could trigger this hidden quest for the sake of Queen Mei.
This post initially didn¡¯t get much attention and sank to the bottom of the forum in less than three minutes. Feeling sorry for the person who posted it, Jiang Qiao gave it a bump and added a screenshot rted to the hidden quest ¡°For the Sake of Queen Mei.¡±
Once the screenshot was uploaded, it immediately shut up those forum yers who said ¡°pics or it didn¡¯t happen¡±, and the number of replies to the post began to steadily increase. Gradually, new posts rted to this hidden quest started appearing on the forum as well.
yers¡¯ ability to gather information was far superior to that of the NPCs on the battlefield.

...
As one of the most popr streamers on Roon Live, Shen Meng was the first to trigger a hidden quest, which quickly spread across the entire.
And so, in less than an hour, Jiang Qiao looked down at the battlefield overseen by the axe-wielding man, which was¡ calm and peaceful.
yers lined up in long queues to swear allegiance to Queen Mei to the axe-wielding man. After receiving the hidden quest, some chose to stay and continue to challenge the axe-wielding man, while others ran towards the royal castle to start causing trouble for the Red Knights.
The chaotic situation on the battlefield continued, with the Holy Spirit side holding a slight advantage, and soldiers from the Dark me Country and the Flowing Water Country guarding the time-space rift.
Although they were still suffering ¡®heavy casualties¡¯ against the undead soldiers, the undead army still couldn¡¯t break through the time-space rift under the sniper fire from the Holy Spirit side.
At this time, Jiang Qiao received a piece of, not so good, news from Hai Lan.
There were signs that the Wasp Knight was waking up.
¡°You keep an eye on the battlefield, I¡¯ll go give the Wasp Knight some psychological counseling.¡±
Jiang Qiao pulled Hai Lan up to the battlefield to monitor the War God ss battle so that if the bosses in the battle did anything out of line like the axe-wielding man enlisting yers, Hai Lan could immediately inform Jiang Qiao.
As for Jiang Qiao, he withdrew his consciousness from the probe and when he opened his eyes again, he found himself at the top of the Astral Tower in Lionheart City.
Jiang Qiao took out the book of the system to summon a portal, which led to the only hidden map in the Holy Spirit World¡ ¡°Instance Lords¡¯ Dormitory¡±.
On the other side of the portal was a garden, at the end of which stood a high-rise with the Holy Spirit style architecture, looking somewhat like a university dormitory, albeit an antique version.
This collective dormitory could be upgraded into a luxury vi in the future, as long as the bosses worked hard. Jiang Qiao could even satisfy them if they wanted to build a sea in their living area, let alone a luxury vi.
The condition is¡ to work hard and earn enough money to buy a seaside vi.
The room where the Wasp Knight was located was Room 001. She was the first boss to move into the instance leader¡¯s dormitory.
However, Jiang Qiao believed that once she woke up, she would definitely try every possible means to escape this damn ce. Now, what Jiang Qiao needed to do was provide some psychological counseling for the Wasp Knight and help her adapt to a modern living environment.
¡°This ce is way nicer than where I live.¡±
Jiang Qiao entered the room and looked around. The room was well-lit, equipped with modern furniture, and the size of the three-bedroom, one-living-room t was about 120 square meters.
Such decoration and size would cost upwards of two million even in the third ring of Jiang City.
And the Wasp Knight was lucky enough to wake up from a bed worth two million.
Jiang Qiao pushed open the door and walked into the bedroom where the Wasp Knight was resting. The knight was no longer visible, but the next instant, Jiang Qiao felt the cold edge of a dagger against his neck.
¡°Who are you? What is this ce?¡± The Wasp Knight¡¯s figure appeared behind Jiang Qiao. Her weapons were all confiscated by Hai Lan, but this didn¡¯t prevent this top assassin from taking down some¡ unguarded individuals.
¡°I guess I¡¯m thendlord here, and this is where you¡¯ll be living from now on,¡± said Jiang Qiao with a smile.
The Ho Knight was not satisfied with Jiang Qiao¡¯s answer. She waved the small knife in her hand, aiming to stab Jiang Qiao, but she found that no matter how much she tried, the de would not prate Jiang Qiao¡¯s neck.
¡°I know your level is very high, but the equipment you hold won¡¯t benefit from your level and attribute bonuses,¡± Jiang Qiao said.
The dagger that the Ho Knight held to Jiang Qiao¡¯s neck was a kitchen knife, a whiteboard weapon that could be equipped from level one, with an attack power of 5¨C10.
To know, the weapon the Ho Knight previously wielded was the legendary Piercing Chain de, which could ignore fifty percent of a yer¡¯s armor and also had lethal and poisonous bleeding effects.
No matter how much the Ho Knight stabbed, the numbers that popped above Jiang Qiao¡¯s head were always 0. She wanted to kill Jiang Qiao with this kitchen knife, but punching him to death would be more practical.
However, the Ho Knight simply didn¡¯t have the strength for such a thing¡ Her stomach let out a ¡®gurgle¡¯ sound at this moment.
At this instant, the Ho Knight entered a state of stupor, feeling a familiar sensation for the first time in hundreds of years¡ªhunger.
This was the moment for Jiang Qiao to use the Qiao family¡¯s secretly passed down technique.
¡°Why don¡¯t you sit down and eat something first? Your body just recovered from the zombie-like state, and you¡¯re disconnected from Queen Mei¡¯s energy supply. If you don¡¯t eat something soon, you will die,¡± Jiang Qiao said.
The zombies in the Divine Fragment War ne could maintain their actions solely on the power of the Divine Fragment of Hai Lan that Queen Mei possessed; the Ho Knight was no longer under Queen Mei¡¯s protection.
¡°Get me out of here, now!¡± The Ho Knight, hearing Jiang Qiao bring up Queen Mei, flew into a rage.
After realizing she couldn¡¯t hurt Jiang Qiao with the kitchen knife, she tried to strangle Jiang Qiao with her arm, attempting to suffocate him.
But suddenly, a cloud of smoke appeared, and when the Ho Knight regained her senses, Jiang Qiao had vanished, leaving only a straw man in a provocative pose in her grip.
Substitute Grass Man.
A life-saving skill that most magic sses have, with effects simr to the Substitute Technique.
¡°If I were you, I¡¯d take down the enemy after having a good meal.¡±
Jiang Qiao¡¯s figure had already appeared behind the living room coffee table, and at that moment, the Fire Spirit and Water Spirit were setting down a te of sweet and sour pork ribs and a te of salt-and-pepper chicken legs on the table, along with many other appetizing dishes.
These were all transported by Jiang Qiao from the real world. The Holy Spirit World could simte anything, except that when yers ate, there was no taste, though yers with the culinary profession could still make vorful food.
The Ho Knight had vanished at the bedroom door; she jumped out through the open window and ran into the outside garden.
Perhaps the Ho Knight thought she could leave this dreadful ce by escaping the room, but the problem was¡ there were boundaries to this map.
¡®Ho Knight fell out of the map boundary.¡¯
Jiang Qiao quickly received this notification, and the next second, the Ho Knight was teleported back inside the bedroom.
¡°Aren¡¯t you tired?¡±
Jiang Qiao held a bowl of rice, helping himself to a piece of salt-and-pepper chicken leg.
¡°Let me out!¡± The Ho Knight¡¯s eyes behind the mask had be terrifyingly fierce, and she approached the table, seemingly ready to flip it.
¡°Do you want to know about Knight of the Wolf¡¯s situation? And the reason why he turned out this way?¡± Jiang Qiao said.
This sentence made the Ho Knight¡¯s hand on the edge of the table extremely stiff. Then her stomach let out another gurgle, and the aroma of the food on the table caused her mouth to secrete a liquid¡ a liquid she hadn¡¯t experienced in hundreds of years.
¡°Sit down, let¡¯s talk while eating,¡± Jiang Qiao said, pointing to the chair next to the Ho Knight.
