    “He is assigned by my master to protect me” Rezen said and Rain nodded her head


    She is just surprised since Tattoo Warriors are almost extinct these days


    Seconds and minutes passed and the people’s cries became louder and louder. The sound of explosions and fighting also grew louder, causing Rezen to frown


    “Sister, I think we should go outside. If the fight reached this mall, we might get buried inside!” Rezen suggested


    With Rain here, even if the whole building copses, they would still be safe but she agreed

    The four of them run outside to check the situation and they sawplete chaos. Corpsesy on the ground, spells flew in the air that sometimes causes a whole building to copse that buried people alive, and civilians desperately ran away in fear

    This might be a fantasy world but Rezen is stillcking in experience. This is his first time seeing such arge creature


    The frog was as tall as a building with three floors. It has a slimy brown skin and its stomach was bulging as if a single poke using a needle would burst it


    Its disgustingly long pinkish tongue was like an arrow leaving the bow with its speed. Every time that it uses its tongue, human corpses would stick to it before being swallowed directly into its stomach


    “That’s a Corpse-lover Giant Frog! It can store thousands of corpses in its belly!” Rain exined


    “Look, there was someone standing on top of it!”


    “That might be the frog’s summoner”


    Summoning-type spells and mystic gems were not an elemental type and the magic they use are already pretty exnatory


    “Aahhh!!! Help!”


    Not far from the four, they saw a woman hugging her child in her arms as she desperately tried to flee


    Behind her was a mage wearing a tiger mask on his face shooting a spell on her direction


    “[Metal Stream!]”


    The masked mage muttered. The eyes inside his mask glowed with a metallic gray luster as he shot a stream of metallic energies


    “Stop!” Rain shouted angrily. Her eyes glowed with an icy blue light after summoning her mystic gem


    “[Ice Stream!]”


    Rain intercepted the metal stream with her own stream spell and she easily overpowered the enemy


    She is a 5th fusion rank mage and the masked mage was only a 3rd fusion rank. Who is stronger and who is weaker is obvious


    The masked mage also sensed the power of Rain but it was already toote. Not only did Rain’s stream spell overpower his, it even continued to kill him


    “Twighlight Beasts… why are they attacking inside a human city? They were not this bold in the past!” Rain asked to no one in particr


    “Twighlight Beasts?” Rezen mumbled after hearing that and he remembered the assassins that attacked him earlier this night


    They were also a part of the Twighlight Beasts. To think that they would be so bold as to directly attack a human city. Just what are they nning exactly?


    “[Leaf des!]”


    In the skies, Florine can be seen. Her eyes and hair that were fluttering with the wind werepletely green in color


    On her back were two pairs of translucent greenish wings. Her body has a green dress made from mana and magic


    She was already originally beautiful but even more so now. She really looks like the Fairy and the Guardian of the Forest!


    “[Heaven’s Gate!]”


    Aside from Florine, there was also another mage flying in the sky. This mage also wore a mask, a fox mask to be exact


    The mage created a magic circle in front of her that blends in with space and a spatial portal appeared


    That was the same spell that Rezen used! That fox mask mage is a rare spatial mage and from the looks of it, she was also a 6th fusion rank mage!


    Florine expected that with [Heaven’s Gate], the fox would send her magic back to her. That’s how spatial mage usually acts


    What she didn’t expect was that the fox would send the leaf des to the civilians fleeing for their lives


    Florine indirectly killed those people that were then swallowed by the Corpse-lover Giant Frog


    “Stop, you beast!” Florine shouted angrily as she cancelled her spell


    “You might be strong, Fairy of the Forest but these civilians are holding you back”


    The fox masked mage said and her words were true


    Florine doesn’t dare use magic with a higher lethality in fear that there would be humans that would be affected


    Even just a shockwave from her spell can kill hundreds or even thousands of normal humans!


    Even the low-level mages wouldn’t be any different!


    “Shut up!” She replied and underneath the mask, she felt her enemy sneering at her


    “[Warp]”


    The fox mage suddenly disappeared from her original position and when she reappeared, she was already above Florine


    “[Fire Stream!]”


    Behind the fox mage were three mystic gems. One is of the space element and the other two were fire and lightning


    Fire and lightning element has destructive power and spatial element can either be destructive or extremely supportive


    In this mage’s case, her space spells were of the support type and such a mage is hard to deal with because of how slippery they are!
