Both Florine and Rain were stunned. Based on Rezen’s words, the old mage that turned into a monster should at least be a 5th rank mage
Howe such an entity died before Florine and Rain can kill them?
“W-who killed them?” Florine questioned and Rezen almost pped himself. He shouldn’t have said that!
Luckily, there is still a way out of this situation
“It was my Master. He was passing by and killed the monster. This robe also came from that monster. Too bad that my Master was in too much of a hurry and the other wolves arrivedte”
Rezen bullshitted his way out. He doesn’t have a master but how would Florine and Rain know that?
“I don’t know the whole situation, let’s ask him” Rezen said and he casts a simple [Water Ball] spell
He made sure that the [Water Ball] wouldn’t hurt anyone and he threw it on Pierre’s face
The water sshed on Pierre’s face, drenching him and he finally regained his consciousness . The first person he had seen was none other than Rezen
“Boss! We’re alive? I had a very strange dream! In my dream, you killed that monster and its mount that Captain Ja can’t defeat!” Pierre eximed, confusing the reality with a dream
Rezen can feel the strange looks that the pair of sisters shot him and he coughed awkwardly
“That’s just a dream. My master was the one that killed them” Rezen used his bullshit excuse again and Pierre was convinced
After all, what kind of 2nd fusion rank mage has the ability to kill a 5th fusion rank mage?
“Soldier, what happened to you and here?”
“Right, right! There are too many magic beasts! If not for us, our lovely suppl— Rezen would have already died!”
The pair of sisters inquired and Pierre’s grief returned
“Sisters, we were on the Ratois Mountain to train with our Captain Ja. But there was an old mage apanied by thousands of wolves that trapped us! The Captain called him Wolf King and I don’t know how he did that but he suddenly turned into a werewolf! If not for the Captain, I would have died today!” Pierre exined and the sisters were surprised
“The Wolf King? He’s not dead until moments ago?”
The sisters now have a gist of the situation and Florine turned to Rain
“Stay here and protect them, I will check” she said
The Wolf King is a notorious mage. He can control arge number of wolves and he is also infamous for experimenting both on humans’ and wolves’ souls
Florine’s body rose in the air and flew to Ratois Mountain. In no time, she arrived at where the battle earlier urred
Corpses from both humans and wolves littered the ground. There were also some lingering mana fluctuations from the sh of spells
A frown formed on Floring’s beautiful face as she flew down, staring at a certain corpse
“Ja…” she muttered
Since Ja is a Captain in the Military, naturally, many people know her, including Florine
However, Ja looks absolutely horrible now. It was as if all the energy in her body was sucked dry
She looks like a bag of dry skin and bones. If not for the lingering aura of a 5th fusion rank mage, Florine might not even recognize her
“The Wolf King… just what did he do…?” Florine mumbled before she shot her gaze behind her
“Is it just my imagination?” She asks herself after not seeing anything abnormal

This castle gave off a scary and dangerous feeling especially because of its appearance
Inside this Castle was the personal room of the Master of the Blessed Land. An entity at the 7th rank!
The Master was surrounded by a dark mist, their appearance concealed as they sat on a blood-red Throne
The Throne was ced on an elevated tform and below it was a kneeling man covered with a ck robe from head to toe
“Your Majesty, Barbarian Rhinopleted the experiment. The human-beast nucleus of the physical type has been created sessfully”
“The Wolf King also seeded in creating the soul-type human-beast nucleus. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the Wolf King has already died. The person that was most likely to kill him was Florine, the Fairy of the Forest”
The mage with all of his features hidden in a robe reported and the person addressed as ‘Your Majesty’ spoke in a displeased tone
“How did the Fairy of the Forest be involved?” The person sitting on the throne asks
The tone of their voice sounds feminine in a poisonous way. Based on this person’s voice, she is most likely a woman
“From the information that I gathered, she was there to save a 2nd fusion rank mage that almost died because of the Wolf King. I believe that the Fairy of the Forest doesn’t know what we were up to”
The woman coldly snorted at that, clearly displeased by this coincidence
“Start the mass production of the human-beast nucleus. From now on, it would be called a werebeast nucleus and our people will transform into our evolved form!” She ordered and the kneeling mage further bowed his head
“As you wish, Your Majesty!” The mage replied respectfully
“As for that 2nd fusion rank mage… you know what to do with him”
It would be a bit troublesome to deal with a 6th fusion rank mage especially now but a mere 2nd fusion rank mage is nothing
Since the existence of that ant has caused the death of a 5th fusion rank mage that holds valuable experimental data, the woman was displeased
All who stand in her way should die!

After Florine and the others left to report this incident to the Military, Rezen and Zero were left alone on the farm
Rezen wanted to seek refuge inside the City in the meantime but without his farm, how could he even progress?
Not to mention, there are still his fruits ofbor that should be harvested
Rezen stared at the frozen magic beasts and also the ones that were bitten to death by the carnivorous nts greedily. His saliva almost dripping down the ground
Rezen rubbed his palms together and spoke to the system happily
“System, absorb all the corpses!”

True enough, there is arge difference between the 3rd and 4th rank!
It was a dividing line and many people stayed in the 3rd rank their whole life, unable to advance further
4th fusion rank mages are Vice-Captain levels (the stronger ones) and below that were just normal soldiers, the cannon fodders
There was a dramatic increase in strength after a person reached the 4th rank and also a dramatic increase in requirements to upgrade the farm
In the end, Rezen decided to convert the corpses into upgrade points
As long as Rezen obtained a peach or mysterious banana that would help himprehend the mysteries of magic at the 3rd fusion rank, he could advance in rank again. And if he also obtains one at the 4th rank then reaching that rank also wouldn’t be far from now!
It was more economical to use magic beasts’ corpses to upgrade the farm and Rezen just has to add more mana stones or continue hunting magic beasts
After the corpses were turned into fertilizer, Rezen sighed. Seems like he has to focus on farming again to earn enough mana stones. That in return would affect the advancement of Rezen’s fighting skills and experience
But what can he do? Who designed the system to require that many mana stones when upgrading?
Not to mention, the drop rate of mysterious peach and banana is too low, especially those with a higher quality
Rezen hasn’t even obtained any peach or banana of Quality 3
It feels like even if he recharge using a million mana stones, it still wouldn’t be enough
