As they walked, they dealt with a few spirit beasts that didn''t know better, and soon enough, ze Regret and his group arrived at the spot Master Magi had mentioned.
There were numerous Nine Mystic Trees growing there, and behind the dense trees stood a not so tall mountain range.
"There are so many Nine Mystic Leaves here?" Sky Nasrul was overjoyed. The more Nine Mystic Leaves they could gather, the higher the chances their team would take the lead. Therefore, the more of these rare herbs they could find, the better.
"You guys collect the Nine Mystic Leaves here; I''ll go check out the other side," ze Regret said offhandedly before separating from the two.
Sky Diana gave ze Regret a puzzled look but didn''t ask further, assuming he was going to try his luck on the other side of the mountain to see if there were any rare spiritual herbs like the zing de Flower.
"Master Magi, are you sure it''s here?"
Standing in front of the mountain wall, ze Regret helplessly touched the jagged rocks. Meanwhile, Red leaped off his shoulder, pulling out a dirt worm hidden in the grass with an excited expression.
"Stop that!"
ze Regret, with a ck line across his face, grabbed Red by the waist and lifted it up. The unlucky dirt worm quickly burrowed back into the soil under Red''s menacing re.
"Don''t just look at the surface. Lightly push that imprint shaped rock on your left, and you might be surprised," Master Magi said, floating in mid air with a chuckle.
"ng!"
Skeptically, ze Regret pressed the rock as Master Magi had instructed. To his astonishment, the seemingly seamless rock wall suddenly split open like a door with a loud ng.
"Screech!"
As the rock wall opened, a swarm of dark creatures with sharp screeches suddenly flew out, causing ze Regret to quickly duck down in rm.
"me Bats! My guess was right. There must be fire elemental spiritual beings within this mountain range," Master Magi said, a satisfied smile appearing on his face.
me Bats were spirit beasts that loved to dwell in areas rich with fire elemental energy.
"Fire elemental spiritual beings?"
ze Regret muttered to himself. Some rare natural treasures were also called spiritual beings, such as the me Spirit Blood Diamond, which was one type of spiritual being.
"It looks likeing to the ck Forest was indeed worth it."
"Master Magi, there won''t be any big creatures in here, right?"
Entering the cave, ze Regret cautiously walked along the only visible path and whispered.
"Who can say for sure? But it''s always better to be careful," Master Magi replied nonchntly.
Licking his slightly dry lips, ze Regret scanned his surroundings. Although there was no light inside the cave, countless red crystals embedded in the cave walls emitted a soft glow, illuminating the space in a reddish hue.
"Hmm, a fork?"
Seeing several paths diverging ahead, ze Regret raised an eyebrow and waved his hand. The void realms stone hanging from his waist started spinning in front of him, and a long rope whistled out from it.
"Good thing I came prepared."
ze Regret smiled faintly, tied one end of the rope to a rock at the fork, and tugged it firmly to ensure it was secure. Satisfied, he nodded.
"Not bad, kid," Master Magi said with a smile, watching ze Regret grasp the other end of the rope. "Take the second path; the fire attribute energy is most concentrated there."
Several more forks appeared as they proceeded. Following Master Magi''s guidance, ze Regret chose the correct paths without wasting any time.
"Why is it getting hotter?"
Pausing, ze Regret wiped the sweat from his forehead and looked at the entrance ahead, glowing with a faint red light. Feeling a surge of heat, he conjured a shield of fire energy around his body to fend off the warmth.
cing his hand on the stone wall, ze Regret cautiously peeked inside the cave, his eyes quickly scanning the interior.
"Hiss!"
Suddenly, ze Regret''s gaze fixed on the center of the cave, and he couldn''t help but gasp.
There, a gigantic me spidery crouched. Beneath the spider''s body was a pool of red liquid, exuding a rich fragrance that permeated the cave.
"It''s indeed Heavenly me Crystal Milk," Master Magi suddenly chuckled.
"Heavenly me Crystal Milk?" Chewing over the words, ze Regret asked in a low voice, "Is this rted to the me Spirit Blood Diamond?"
Ever since he had acquired the me Spirit Blood Diamond, he would often take it out to examine, but had not noticed anything special about it.
"Hehe, little guy, this is a treasure," Master Magi chuckled. "The me inside the me Spirit Blood Diamond is called the Heavenly Crystal me. It can help a Spirit Beast of the novice rank maintain its original grade when breaking through. Without this, your Scorching me Cat would at best be a mid tier warrior rank after breaking through.
But if the Heavenly Crystal me is refined, your little Cat can maintain its high tier grade."
Hearing this, ze Regret was overjoyed. He then looked at the Heavenly me Crystal Milk beneath the body of the me spider and asked, "So this thing can melt the crystal wall around the me Spirit Blood Diamond?"
"Correct," Master Magi nodded with a smile, but then suddenly poured cold water on ze Regret''s enthusiasm. "As for how to get it, you''ll have to figure that out yourself. Also, that big guy is called the ming Giant Spider. Judging by its size, it''s a mid tier, fourth rank warrior level Spirit Beast."
With that, Master Magiughed mischievously and disappeared into the void realms stone, leaving ze Regret to deal with the situation.
Sighing, ze Regret looked at the sleeping ming Giant Spider, his mind racing with thoughts.
"Red, go give it a shot!"
After a moment, ze Regret''s eyes hardened, finally making a decision.
"Woof!"
Nodding lightly, Red tiptoed to the back of the ming Giant Spider. After sizing it up, mes surged on its ws, and it struck fiercely.
