While standing there, As heard a twig snap, causing him to spin around as an Achaemenid Mage cast a spell at him. The projectile mmed into his chest, sending him crashing along the ground before he hit a tree.

The mage started casting spells at him but As quickly cast Void Guard to ck the sudden attacks. When the magic hit the barrier, they exploded just before he retaliated with a Void Lance that the enemy dodged.
Following that, the two of them started fighting as he closed in on the mage with his swords. When the man spotted this, his eyes widened but quickly cast more spells in his direction and this time they were fireballs.
Without slowing down, As cut right through the magic with a smile before using Void Step to appear behind the mage. He drove his de through the man''s neck, causing his arms to fall limp.
''Finally dead,'' he thought with a sigh. ''Now I can rest for a little while.''
Once the enemy crashed to the ground, As sat down on a nearby log while cleaning his swords as Estelle''s voice rang in his mind, ''What are you up to, my love?''
The sudden sound made him jump, his heart racing. Quickly, he opened a portal, and through it stepped the blonde with a warm smile. However, her sharp blue eyes narrowed the moment she saw him struggling to catch his breath.
